Such a lovely dining experience! The restaurant is incredibly clean and welcoming, and the fresh flower bouquets on each table make it feel warm and cared for right away. The food tastes homemade and comforting. The lamb soup was rich and flavorful, and the Mongolian pies were fresh and satisfying. I especially liked the self-service sauce bar — you can customize everything exactly how you like it. The complimentary yogurt / Mongolian milk tea and the edamame were a very thoughtful touch. Most importantly, the people working here are super friendly and genuinely caring. You can really feel the hospitality. Definitely a place I will happily come back to and recommend to friends!
Came here for my mom birthday, always wanted to try this place as it’s next to old faithful Baekajong. Food was very tasty. Meat was done just right. The lamb was not gaming at all. The portion were huge so be aware when you order. Service was great too as they were attentive.
My third time here! Tbh everything was delicious, I especially love the cold dish, the roasted lamb, and the free yogurt they give out! Plenty of parking, great please to take large group of friends and family!
I’m from Inner Mongolia and I’ve been coming here for 2 years, this is the best authentic Mongolian food here in LA. Great service and super clean environment. The lamb here is absolutely the best.
The lamb is so tender and juicy, we ordered the original flavor and the classic cumming flavor, both are delicious. And the portion is big!!! Highly recommend if you are a lamb lover!
Really enjoyed this place. The food was great and felt truly homemade, very comforting. Special shoutout to Queena, she was wonderful and made us feel so welcome. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy good food, and spend quality time with friends. Have been here for many times and Will definitely come back!
This place is for the lamb lovers! Free soup refill and love the self service for left over take away. Everything we ordered was good ! Will def be back to try the salt pepper lamb .
We came right before Chinese new year during lunch, restaurant was just filling up. Order grill lamb, lamb meat soup, appetizers, and the signature homemade pie. Grill lamb was served with metal tray to keep it warm, meat was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It comes with leek sauce and special chili powders for dipping. Overall, I would bring the family back next time.
MUST go restaurant in LA. We’ve been taken all our friends and family to this restaurant when they visiting LA, the best Chinese/asian food ever! High recommend the Lamb Shaomai and Beef Pie, Fresh homemade, juicy, yummmmm~
Good quality meat! And more importantly, very good value! You get free yoghurt along with the meal. High recommended!!!!
The roasted lamb leg is so good. Crispy shell and juicy meat. The sides come with the lamb even add more flavor of the meat. Highly recommend. The pie also has a tender and bouncy texture.
The food is very great. Highly recommend the sheep soup. Must go restaurant! Authentic Chinese food!
The food is amazing. The space is clean, and the owner is also very friendly. Highly recommended.
Great taste! Definitely worth going. Our routine weekend restaurant!
The lamb shumai here is absolutely delicious—it tastes just like the flavors from my childhood. The lamb is fresh and tender, with no gamey smell at all. They even serve complimentary yogurt, which is a nice touch. Highly recommended!
This is an authentic traditional Mongolian restaurant and it's already my fourth time here. I have been very satisfied every time. The beef and lamb are tender and flavorful, and the taste is authentic. This five-grain steamed dumpling is filled with beef and has rich meat juices inside. It must be eaten while hot, and it is incredibly delicious. My boyfriend is from Inner Mongolia, and he also approves of the taste and quality here. They always offers free mutton soup and Mongolian specialty salty milk tea. I highly recommend anyone who loves beef and lamb to come and try it.

This place feels really warm and welcoming — you can tell the owner put a lot of heart into it. They start you off with milk tea and some small side dishes, the restaurant is very clean, and the service is super friendly. Definitely a 100/100 recommendation!
Great taste! Definitely worth going. Our routine weekend restaurant!
Never had any lamb like this before, it’s cooked throughly, crunchy on the outside and is just as juicy, highly recommended to try here at least once.

Mongolian Homemade Pie is a hidden gem! The homemade beef pies were perfectly flaky and flavorful, the lamb shumai was tender and savory, and the pickled fish casserole offered a unique and delightful burst of flavor. To top it all off, the traditional Mongolian milk tea tied the meal together beautifully. Every bite felt like a comforting taste of Mongolia. Highly recommend!
This place truly feels like a hidden gem. The Mongolian pies are made fresh and taste incredibly authentic — warm, savory, and very satisfying. The dough is light and flaky, and the filling is well-seasoned without being greasy. Service is warm and genuine, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. It’s the kind of place you come back to when you want something comforting and homemade. Highly recommended!

I’ve been here around 5 times and was introduced by my parents who loved and frequent this place since they discovered it. Portion sizes are huge and everything is seasoned a lot. They even have a bar where the lamb soup and warm milk tea serve yourself station. I usually either love or dislike their food. Their beef and cheese meat pie is not for me. Idk if it’s just the way the dish is suppose to taste but it takes sour like it had gone bad. When trying to inquire about this. The manager came and told us that is the way it’s suppose to be. It’s just how they make the cheese which was influencing the beef’s taste as well. It’s a spacious restaurant that is filled with benches often filled with huge parties. Very brightly lit and has so many paintings honoring the restaurants heritage. Will update more later but it’s a great place to eat. Just be wary of what you order.
An unique dinning experience at this Mongolian dishes. I’ve only had Mongolian BBQ Whole sheep before, so I was eager to try what other dishes Mongolia offers. The beef cheese pie was very good, the BBQ lamp chops were very good and the pork with sour cabbage was very good as well. My favorite was the free lamb bone soup that’s free to the guests. The soup goes really well with the beef pie and the chops. They also serve Mongolian yogurt tea for free and I liked it as it’s not as strong as Tibetan or Xingjian yogurt tea. The service was friendly and pretty quick.
I think my review might be a little unfair considering I don't eat lamb very much and we ordered only lamb dishes. The food was too rich for me from a lamb perspective. My wife's family who love lamb really enjoyed it, but for me, I was not at fan. If you are a lamb lover, I think this is the place for you. For those who don't, might be best to order the non-lamb dishes.

Food was good but don't expect any service, they would say irony shit to you when you request something. I don't like being treated this way. So no next time to me. 15% fixed tip but you do everything on your own, fyi.

This will be my first and last time to this place. I believe I have been here once before but it may have been under another management. First of all the workers seem to all wear the same latex disposable blue gloves to handle everything, from bringing food out , to cleaning. The two staff seemed to be nice but it took a while for us to get service. Seems like they were vacuuming or busy refilling other things. The cold plate they had was decent, and they had a sauce bar where you can get soup if you dine in. We ordered a soup that seems to only be enough for 4 people. The biggest disappointment was the shumai. They actually look huge and good but you can tell they were frozen. I should have known as I took my first bite, there was raw pork inside. They took back the steamer and tried to heat it up again. I thought they would have just made a new batch. After steaming it again, I took another bite and again the pork was still raw in the middle. You cannot consume raw pork. They eventually changed the dish but only after trying to explain that it wasn’t raw and that it was just that color. I know what raw pork looks like, and when I took the two bites, they are not supposed to be soft and cold. I didn’t want to start my first review of the year like this, but I had a stomach ache and did not feel well the next day. I’m glad I did not have to go to urgent care. I hope they figure out a way to do their business
