Came here today, March 29 with my daughters. I thought I had reservation at 1pm and turned out I made a mistake and the reservation we had was for Mira Mesa location. But the young gentleman saw host at the front was very helpful and he found us a table because someone no showed. Food was great, love the salad, vegetables and condiments bar. Their self serve drink bar is also great with different selections of tea and topping options. Price is reasonable for the quality and amount of food.
I came here on the recommendation of a friend and had a very delicious meal. Luckily, I was able to seated right away without having to wait(at 11:45am). A friendly server explained how to use the hotpot and once the hotpot and meat were set up, I brought vegetables, fish balls, noodles, etc. from the salad bar. You can put it in and eat it. There is curry in the salad bar, and I enjoyed it. The sauce called taberu rayu was especially delicious. It was really good to put a lot of sesame seeds and green onions on top of the sauce and eat it with meat and rice. I ate at lunchtime and tried 4 types of meat. Among them, the beef short plate was the most delicious. If you want to sit in an additional booth seat, it would be a good idea to make a reservation in advance and keep in mind that an 18% tip is automatically added.
AYCE hot pot and boba??? Don't walk... but RUN to this restaurant! It's possibly my new favorite lunch spot for shabu shabu. The time limit is perfect and leaves you feeling very satisfied. Despite everything being all you can eat and drink, I actually didn't feel overly stuffed or gross after! There is seriously so much variety! It's not only hot pot, but there's good quality Japanese curry and salads too. I was seriously blown away by the quality of everything. All of the vegetables seemed fresh and the beef was beautifully marbled. Although very fatty, I highly recommend the Beef Short Plate! The All You Can Drink actually really impressed me too! My favorites were the Jasmine Milk Tea and the Passionfruit Green Tea. Very fragrant and addicting! Good quality tea!!! I don't recommend the Oolong Tea though... very watered down. If you're still in need of some dessert after 90 minutes of AYCE... they also offer very unique ice cream flavors to finish off your meal! I recommend the Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream. The only thing that really fell short for me was the Sukiyaki broth. It would grow seriously SALTY the more I would drink the broth. I would have to ask for water to dilute it as time passed. I think I'll try a different broth next time.
Mo-Mo-Paradise is a Japanese restaurant located in Rowland Heights, CA. It is a popular spot for all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. The restaurant has a large selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables to choose from. The broths are also very good, and there are a variety of sauces to choose from to customize your meal. I recently visited Mo-Mo-Paradise and had a great experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. I would definitely recommend Mo-Mo-Paradise to anyone looking for a great shabu-shabu or sukiyaki experience. One thing to note is that Mo-Mo-Paradise no longer has self-serve boba. This is a bit of a disappointment, as the boba was one of my favorite things about the restaurant. However, the other aspects of the meal were still excellent, so I would still recommend Mo-Mo-Paradise to others. If I were to give feedback to the owner of Mo-Mo-Paradise, I would suggest bringing back the self-serve boba.
One of the best shabu shabu's in town. Excellent service with high quality food. The fresh market is an all you can eat bar with lots of veggies, different style tofu, delicious sauces and great meat choices. The tea bar has 4 different teas with a couple of boba selections. Will definitely be back for more. I highly recommend that you arrive as soon as it opens or make a reservation as it gets crowded.
Hot pot ayce? Ok this is one of the many reasons why this area is so wonderful. Came for lunch and it was delish though expect to wait as they do get busy. They have a aycd drink bar with boba too and melon soda. Gonna have to come back again during this cold season.
One of the best AYCE shabu shabu. There's only three choices of meat and four types of soup base. I recommend the sukiyaki base as the slight sweet flavor compliments all the meat amd vegetables soaked inaide the soup. With all the unlimited freshly cut meat and vegetables, the curry, and the drink which they have boba I fathom to believe the money and wait is worth it.
I never tried sukiyaki before until this, mostly out of curiosity -- and lemme tell you it was BANGER ☝️☝️☝️ Their recommended broths of sukiyaki and tonkotsu was AMAZING (especially the sukiyaki) -- a flavor I never tasted before until this and I'm obsessed lmao. This place is 10000000% going on my to-go places to eat for when I am craving sukiyaki 😋 Also their bar is full of SO MUCH extra add-ons you can throw into the broth to cook (I mostly focused in just the meat this first time) -- but I'm gonna be real, their curry was HEAVENLY and I've been dreaming about it every night since 😭😭😭 100000/10 so much variety and you get SOOOO much for the price you pay -- and I only had the regular, base menu for my first time. I definitely will be looking forward to the wagyu menu next time my sukiyaki cravings hit and I visit 😋 Staff was friendly and very quick! Though I did come on a weekday just before the night rush, so I was lucky to come without a reservation. But busier days at peak hours, I recommend reserving 100000% ahead of time!!!

Me and my family went at lunch and the meat quality was very good. My server was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The service was top notch and quick. Their broth is not too salty and had the perfect flavor. I highly recommend the short plate and the chuck eye as these are perfect balanced piece of meat. The drink bar have over 12 different drinks with boba, jelly, and red beans. I also loved the Wagyu curry with rice. Their sauce bar and food bar have a lot of variety and is very fresh. I would come back again.

This is a great place to satisfy your craving for hot pot if you have one! It is All you can eat and they also serve beef curry at the restaurant as well. Having a variety of vegetables, noodles, sauces, and noddles was a great plus for me! Although there was no seafood on the menu, you can perhaps order more meat. I really enjoyed the fact that it was all you can drink (soda and ice tea) too, so that was really fun! The service at the restaurant was excellent as I walked in just before lunch (11:45am), and I was seated right away. It is also important to note that some meats are available only at night and on weekends, so if you love meat, that's something to keep in mind! As of now, they only offer four different bases of soups, but I would like to see them offer more of them. It’s shabu( kelp dashi very light),tomato, tonkotu, and sukiyaki. I liked my friend’s tonkotu but I did not like the sukiyaki. It was really salty n sweet. You also get a ice cream at the end!
This is my second time coming here. I only know about this place bc my in-laws looove hot pot and Mo-Mo lol! Parking: They’re located in a big plaza, so finding a spot is easy. Free parking lot. Ambiance/Environment: We made reservations by directly calling them. We dined for a total of 13. The seats and tables were clean. They have a large space, so it’s good for groups of all sizes. Service: We encountered many servers. They were all quick and efficient. The only time you’d interact with a server is to order more meat. Other than that, everything else is self serve. Soups: I ordered the Tonkotsu and Shabu Shabu. I absolutely enjoyed my soups. Some of my cousins ordered the Sukiyaki. They thought it was really salty at first, but after pouring more water in the pot, it diluted it a bit. Meats: We took advantage of all the meats. My favorite was the “Eye of Round” bc it’s more lean while my cousin’s favorite were the “Short Plate” and Pork. Sides & sauces: They have a side bar and drink bar that is all self served. It’s not the most cleanliest bar - they were a lot of spills everywhere. This is where they also serve the Japanese curry and rice. Unfortunately, we did have to wait a while for the curry bc they ran out. And when it did come out, it was lukewarm. My favorite part was the self serving drinks with unlimited toppings & refills. Desserts: We’ll always have room for ice cream! They offered three different flavors. This season they had vanilla, black cherry, and coffee. My favorite was the coffee! Prices: The prices are definitely worth it. Everything was unlimited. Perfect for dinner on cold nights!
This is my family’s favorite spot for shabu shabu, and for good reason. The restaurant excels at what it does—serving high-quality meats, including four types of beef and two types of pork, along with flavorful broths, and attentive service. The sukiyaki with egg dipping sauce is my favorite, and they have a well-stocked vegetable bar, a tea bar (for an additional cost), and a delicious curry rice that my husband loves. I also appreciate the rotating ice cream flavors they offer for dessert! Reservations are required, as they often book out and will turn away walk-ins. While it’s a bit pricier than other hotpot spots in the area, the quality and experience have always made it worth it, and I’ve never had a bad experience here.
All you can eat hot pot with high quality meats. They have a large selection of in-house drinks as well. Price is on the higher end with 18% tip automatically applied. While the quality of the meat still remains high, feel like the variety of meats have decreased from when I went few years ago. Their beef belly and udon salad are my favorites. Wish they had a larger sauce bar. It tends to get pretty crowded here, so reservation is needed on weekends. Ambiance can be loud due to the people. Service can be slow or forgotten sometimes.
Came here for the first time. And it won't be the last. Love that fact they take reservations. Although selection of meat maybe limited to only fatty or lean beef or pork but quality was spot on even after ordering more the quality never changed as most all you can eat places would be. They have a veggie selection were you can grab as much as as want of. Selection is not big but has all of my favorite like Napa cabbage, enoki mushroom, fish cake and tofu. They also have a drink section with soda and tea. Service was great. Keep checking if we needed more meat or anything else. Definitely will be back!
The meat was excellent, very thin and tender.

We came here for my dads birthday. the restaurant looks clean via their recent vermin shut down from infestation. The vegetable variety seems to have expanded more, but the soda machine seems to keep making odd shaking sounds. However, i really REALLY hope this business will consider switching their fish cake supplier. Most of the fish tofu, fish cakes, and fish balls have a strong fishy aftertaste to them. Either the fishcakes are not fresh or they are being stored improperly.
I've been to Mo-Mo Paradise in Arcadia, so coming to this location felt pretty much the same. Make sure to have reservations or they'll turn you away if they're full, even if you walk in, hoping to take a spot of a canceled reservation. When we arrived for Saturday dinner at 7:30 pm, they were already turning away walk-ins. We waited about 10 minutes before we were seated. Weekend dinner is $34.95 per person, with the option to add the unlimited drink garden for $2.55 extra. We got our go-to broths of shabu-shabu and tonkotsu (we found the dashi gets saltier as the meal progresses). We ordered our initial rounds of everything except the pork belly and chicken thigh, and then repeated orders for our favorites: the lean beef eye of round and the beef chuck eye. The meat pairs well with the curry and steamed rice offered by the vegetables and fish/meat balls in the farmer's market area. Favorite thing of the night was definitely the ice cream, which you can get as much as you want. We ordered a scoop of cookies and cream as well as the black cherry. Let me tell you, black cherry ice cream was SO GOOD and this was the only time I've ever had it! In all the times I've dined at Mo-Mo in Arcadia, never had they ever had black cherry. That alone would make me return to this location now. They add an 18% service charge to every table, no matter your size. Plenty of parking in the plaza!

Had to edit this review! It was for the wrong hot pot spot! So sorry to confuse everyone! Reservation at 7:45. Checked in at 7:30. Seated at 8:15. Yup! You’ll be waiting a bit even if you made a reservation! We got seated and our servers voice was a bit soft so we didn’t hear everything. The service was very slow. Not sure if they were understaffed or what but we waited for our tea + meats for a good 15+ minutes. We would remind them as they walk by. Sauce: peanut seems to be their main sauce! If you’re allergic. Please ask them about their dishes etc! They do have other sauces but not a huge variety Toppings: expect hotpot toppings! Mushroom, veggies, They do have ramen + udon as well! They have eggs! Ask them and they’ll hand you a raw egg to crack into your soup. Drinks: I heard it didn’t cost money previously but now it does! It’s $2+. Wish their drinks were also unlimited like before though! I really wanted to try it out. Water and green tea is free! Soup base: 1. Tonkatsu - it’s how you’d expect it! 2. Tomato - tomato flavor! There’s even bits of tomato in it 3. Shoyu - they give you water to add in. If you don’t add it in, it’s going to be very salty! 4. Shabu - mainly water - not a lot of flavor Desserts: I’ve cream! Each person can pick up to 3 flavors. We only have 3 flavors to pick from. Vanilla, strawberry, cappuccino. Parking: it’s a plaza so you won’t have trouble finding this spot!
For an all-you-can-eat hot pot, their meat quality is just average, and the self-service hot pot bar is quite disappointing. They only have vegetables and tofu, no seafood or hot pot balls. In terms of appetizers, they only offer all-you-can-eat curry rice, unlike other restaurants like All That Shabu or Happy Lamp Hot Pot, which provide a much more diverse selection. The price isn't any cheaper, and they automatically add an 18% service fee, $48.5 per person. After trying it once, I won't be coming back.

Do not recommend this restaurant! ! ! First of all, the service is very poor. Their reservation system is useless. I made a reservation at the open table for 19:45 and arrived at 19:30 to complete the check-in. However, I still waited for more than half an hour. It started from 19:45. After waiting for more than half an hour, I was very angry! I was dropped into the queue of guests without a reservation. Terrible management! There were very few waiters. They did not take away the empty plates or add soup to our pots. They ignored us until our pots were almost dry. In the end, we added water ourselves. I don’t understand their service. How can you have the nerve to charge service fees from guests? They also openly charge guests an 18% service fee. I don’t know why an AYCE restaurant needs to charge a mandatory service fee. This is really disgusting, and their service is very poor! Let’s talk about the dishes. The vegetables are quite fresh and replenished in a timely manner. The ice cream after the meal was well received. It is a very high-quality ice cream. But the meat is not so good. We ordered three kinds of beef. The problem is that the quality of the meat is average. There will be a lot of dirt left in the soup after cooking. The meat is also average and feels old, not very tender. Meat. Overall everything is poor, especially the service! Very poor service and the forced service charge is disgusting.
EDIT: So I just found out the 18% mandatory tip is not even 18% even though it says 18% on the receipt. Double check the receipt as there are receipts that says "18%" but they actually charged 36%. With this new knowledge, don't support this business. Food is still as good as ever but the service was just slow. Also take note that all parties regardless of size has a mandatory 18% gratuity because they want to "pay their servers a competitive wage". They removed the complementary unlimited drinks, now it costs $2.55, which I don't understand since drinks cost less than food, wouldn't you want to fill the guest with drinks instead and save there. I feel they're a bit understaffed and reservations don't really mean much as we were seated 30 min after our time. Given that they have a 90 minute maximum dine in, you would figure they would be relatively accurate in getting guests in and out, since they're on a reservation system.

The problem is that the quality of the meat is average. There will be a lot of dirt left in the soup after cooking. The meat is also average and feels old, not very tender. Meat. Overall everything is poor, especially the service! Very poor service and the forced service charge is disgusting.
