Fav pho place in town! Highly recommend fried spring roll (item #1) and pho tai. I usually get pho tai chin, but their chin was just okay (taste a bit gamey). Large size is enough to feed two females 👍
Pho soup to die for! Service was great! We ordered the #22 and #19 The tripe was nice and tender, and the tendon was perfect consistency! And they cooked the filet mignon perfectly it came to the table almost rare and finished cooking in the broth. It was also funny we were buzzing around on our little motorcycles and the waitress said they were "cute" 🤣😋 Parking is kinda a pain in the butt, but if you are on a bike you can just kinda piggyback on a space.
Been going to this establishment since before my 10 year old son was born. The food is great, and the staff are friendly and precise. They are located in one of the busiest plazas so parking may be tricky, but once you've found parking, it is worth the approach.
I’m writing this review because I don’t agree with their 4.3 star rating. This place is definitely a 5. I’ve been coming to Pho Rowland for 8 years now. This is definitely the best pho restaurant in the Rowland area. It’s definitely as good if not better that some places in Little Saigon. The pho is top notch. Nothing else to say here other than get your steak on the side. You then add it to your soup so that you can cook it to a nice medium or medium well. Trust me. It tastes better that way. Their Vietnamese coffee is also amazing if you eat in. They serve it fresh fresh. Not a lot of places do this nowadays but they brew it in the traditional phin at the table. Maybe it’s nostalgia but I think it makes the coffee taste better. Also, the soda chanh is delicious. Just try it. I’m hungover now and I’m running out of energy to write anything else so I will end my review here. Thank Pho Rowland for existing. I’m grateful you all didn’t close down during the pandemic.
Every bite was exceptional. We were not sure what to order but the staff was very helpful. The Spring Rolls and Chicken Lo Mein were the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back for the recommended egg rolls.
My favorite vietnamese/pho restaurant in the SGV fresh delicious aromatic pho, bun, egg rolls even the drinks are delicious. Service is great they actually put a smile on their face. Convenient parking. The restaurant has been there for decades. Highly recommend for authentic as authentic gets vietnamese food/pho
Place was nice and very slug feeling. Service was great and fast. Ordered crispy eggrolls which was amazing. Also got a chance to ordered the ribeye pho and it was good, wish the noodles were a lil softer in the beginning but overall both plates were completely emptied and will be returning!
Undoubtedly, the best Pork Pho ever had!!! The Pork is perfectly marinated and served separately from the Broth so you get the full flavoring of the Pork. Miss it terribly since I've moved out of state. Still haven't found a place that compares to Pho Rowland Vietnamese Restaurant's delicious Pho. I would love their Recipe to make at home.
This is a really good Vietnamese restaurant. Food is excellent. Service is quick and has a real family feel to it. We had veramicelli and spring rolls. Both excellent. We will be back!
Although it's an ordinary looking store front and dining area, it leads you to excellent food and service. We have tried aeveral pho and are never disappointed. The rolls are excellent and the prices are very reasonable. A must try in Roland Heights.
Their pho actually has flavor & they give a lot of meat. Egg roll plates are bomb AF too **posting update 4/2/21 they’re finally open for dine in!! 😭 quality and taste has remained the same. Absolutely delicious.
OH MY GOODNESS. I swear this is the best pho you’ll ever have in your life. The portion size is great, they give a lot of food, and the employees give lots of appreciation to you being there. Most people say pho is overrated compared to the other cultural food, but this will change your mind. I’ve never been more passionate eating a food, buy a bowl right now. If I could I’d rate this way over a 5 star.
This is our go-to Vietnamese restaurant to have a good bowl of beef Pho and other dishes every time we’re in Rowland Heights for a visit over the last 5+ years. It’s a family owned establishment and they run the restaurant efficiently and cleanly. The flavor is authentic and the accompanied veggies are always fresh. The food is of good value, tasty and quality. I highly recommend this place.
I had the Large Pho Dac Biet which was exceptionally delicious and a very large portion. I had to try the shredded pork spring rolls, and those were equally delicious. I always have to get Vietnamese coffee or cafe sua da which helps at the end of the meal because it’s a very Carrie meal but the seating is wonderful. The environment is nice. It’s an open area so it is a little bit loud but everybody’s having a good time talking food still delicious and they have a bathroom. I found the service to be extremely friendly and the menu is huge, I am coming back
Local Vietnamese eatery with some of the best fried egg rolls I’ve ever had. My sister swore by the egg rolls, so the fam came here on a Sunday for dinner around 6pm and got seated immediately. They’re open during covid for indoor dining (no outdoor options) as well as pick-up/delivery via the usual suspects. They take credit cards, and parking is available in the lot. The place had a steady stream of customers and all the tables were occupied while we were there. Masks are required. Going back to the egg rolls (cha gio on the menu), they come piping hot and you wrap them with lettuce and can dip them in fish sauce. There’s five to an order, and you HAVE to get them. For the pho, they’re only currently serving the large size. The broth is aromatic and holds well for leftovers. I got the bun bo hue which came with a super generous amount of meat. The broth wasn’t that spicy, but it was certainly savory and tasty. There are other dishes available if you don’t want pho, but there are plenty of soup options so I’d definitely coming here for a comfort meal or on a cold / rainy day to warm the soul.
Amazing little gem in Rowland Heights. Tried the #21 and #19. Also ordered the shrimp spring rolls and egg rolls. Delicious. Thai tea and Jasmine tea were also a treat. Customer service was an added plus to a delicious meal. Greeted right away and food was served quickly. Will definitely return ❤️
- Probably the best pho I ever had! - Broth is rich and flavor and pho has loooots of meat - Although it was a take out, the taste remained the same and didn’t really spoil the ult Viet food experience - Would love to try other spicy options!
Order: 1. Chicken Phó (9.25) 2. Vietnamese Egg Rolls (8.95) As soon as I bit into a Vietnamese egg roll I knew I was eating from a high-class restaurant. The egg rolls come with leafy lettuce to wrap them in and stuff in a person's mouth. I made sure to shove the whole thing in my mouth before chewing. I liked chicken phó a lot. Chicken was tender and tasted first rate. Broth and noodles were good. Phó Rowland Heights is a classy joint.
Some of the best Pho I've had. I ordered the filet and brisket Pho. The meat was so tender. The broth was flavorful. The noodles were good too. Egg rolls were delicious as well. Enjoyed it all.
I enjoy eating the egg rolls and the Shredded Pork, Egg loaf & Grilled Beef
sooo good! favorite viet place in socal by far. loved the vibes, staff, and especially the food.

Had a bowl for here and took a bowl to go and the soup was even more flavorful the next day
Honestly one of the best vietnamese restaurants we have ever been too. Really good food! The service was excellent! Super friendly and attentive.
The Oxtail Noodle Soup is the very best in all Southern California ❤️. You all must try it

Nice clean place. Food isn't half bad. Their dishes like bun Bo are missing ingredients though. And there's a service charge. So $9 bowl + $1 tax +$1 service charge + tax if you're even feeling generous still at that point.
I’ve tried the pho here a couple times and the broth is really flavorful and delicious. I just think the noodles are a little bit over cooked but overall good food.
Very nice cozy restaurant. It is located in a shopping complex. The food was very good. Had the shrimp fried rice, and it was cooked nicely. Prices are reasonable. Parking here kinda tight, but it's a big complex.
We really like this Vietnamese restaurant. The staffis very friendly and helpful. The Pho is excellent. We think it may be even better than Pho 79. The egg rolls are fabulous! The iced coffee is very smooth.
Best pho restaurant in the Rowland Heights area. All of the items we have tried have been delicious. Pho Combination 18,spribg rolls, and summer rolls are recommended. Service is good and attentive. Parking is a pain in this shopping center due to all the other restaurants so best to come early or during lunch time. Great place for a quick meal. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.
It was too hot to eat anything soupy or a hot dish. I wanted a cold entree type food. Spring rolls came to mind. My favorite place was too far and every other place that served it didn't have both shrimp and pork in it. Partner hopped on Yelp and found this place. The parking is a little crazy, it's tight and everyone seems impatient AF. There's a lot of honking and flashing lights. LOL. Especially on a Friday night like tonight. Thankfully, it wasn't busy until after we sat down. We ordered two spring rolls and a vermicelli dish. They're definitely on the pricier side. 2 pieces of spring rolls for almost $7. BUT they are the only restaurant that I know of in Rowland that uses green leaf, shrimp AND pork. So it was perfect in my opinion. The ratio of all three ingredients was stellar, not too much of the other. The peanut dipping sauce could use a little work, it was a bit on the sweet side in my opinion (almost like apple juice flavor). Partner also loved his dish, everything was very flavorful and delectable to the palate. The meat served with it was tender and juicy. Overall had a great dinner experience though and definitely would come back again for the spring rolls!
Not like most of the Pho place we went, this restaurant is clean and bright. Service is quick and staff all super nice. We had the signature pho and the egg roll. The soup base is light but still favory. The noodle is a bit soft but the meat are tender and fresh. Egg roll is the traditional Vietnamese rolls not the Chinese style that is super crispy and not oily. Highly recommended.
It wasn't super active at the time I went here. The service was quick and efficient, they even offered me a fork without my asking after seeing me trying to cut up the items in my stew with my chop sticks. The food was good with lots of safe food choices along with some more exotic ones. I would definitely eat here again
I liked it. Inside was clean, staff was friendly. The guy was welcoming. Air-conditioned to save you from outside. Water refilled promptly. Pho was delicious. Number 21 is the brisket and steak so good and portion is a lot. It's never too hot outside for a big bowl of pho. One single bathroom. Clean 👌
Had Pho here late at night with summer rolls, it’s really good! Not the best I ever had. But still really good!
The seafood pho here is great, the beef broth is good and the customer is good as well.

Their house special was pretty good. Price was about the average at $17 for their large bowl. Dining area is pretty small. Not ideal for parties larger than 8 max. They charge 18% gratuity for group of 6+. We went about noon on a Friday and got a table without waiting. But parking is very compact. Id recommend if you're in the area but nothing to travel over 30 minutes for.

The quality of the pho has noticeably gone down since a year ago. Egg rolls are still great, though. But quite expensive. Parking is still a pain point in this complex.
Nothing special about the food, atmosphere and or service. That's why I gave it a three star. I don't understand how they get four star. Am I too picky? Complimenting on the portion you get and a lot of different dishes in their menu. But I don't see a lot of non beef option for pho. This is the second time I came, and I think I've given enough chance to change my mind about the rating. If you like large portion and variety of options and don't mind the food quality or flavor, this might be the place for you.
as pho, its too pricey cannot believe $16 for 5 egg rolls ended up ordering two pho i think the tastes is alright, but nothing special even its not packed, the pace is kinda slow
Food is okay same orther pho Price is higher than everage service. Take order drop off food and go never ask ambiance normal nothing special
The portion is small but the food is delicious. There is dine-in seating now, so no more outdoor seating arrangement.
Fake reviews. I went to this place because of the great reviews. The foods do not look like what advertised on the web. What a disappointment! The foods are not all that great. We had Phở gà, Chả Giò and Bún Bò Huế. Egg rolls are good comparing to other restaurants in Orange County. However, Phở gà tastes not to bad, but it looks unappetizing, so pale not serving enough green onions and cilantro. There were only a few small pieces of chicken in the bowl. Bún Bò Huế is another story. There were only one old small piece of chả Huế, and 4 slices of beefs and there were not only a few strands of noodle. I left this place and still was hungry. Pricey comparing to other Vietnamese restaurants in Orange County. Not recommended. Not worth it.
Ordered a grilled chicken rice combo and vermicilli with grilled chicken and shrimp. Both had a short black hair in it which was disgusting and not very hygienic! Ruined my mood while eating 🤢 I’ve ordered take out from here many times before but makes me not want to come back ever again…
I used to come to this restaurant a couple of years ago when it was still good. The prices have hiked up to $17+ for one bowl of pho. It's only one size, the large. But for anyone who eats pho they'll know that $17 is the price of Irvine pho and even then Irvine's pho will taste better than this. It just had no flavour! This place really cheaped out on the taste and quality and it is now just a shadow of the place it used to be.
