Amazing food and customer service. Cute little patio to eat on. Had the sausage and avocado scramble burrito and am looking forward to trying other things.

Really tasty all vegan menu. Great croissants and pastries, solid coffee. Space for 10 people to comfortably sit in the back for eating in. Dog friendly as well. I have a feeling we'll be regulars here during our month stay in the area.

AMAZING. All vegan and the cheese is incredible. Mom said it was the best breakfast burrito she's ever had and my tofu sandwich was delish.

Cool little spot with lots of vegan options, great menu for breakfast very pleased with the service and stuff and menu I will probably come back here if I stay at my friends house which is close by again which has a high probability, here are some photos, five stars

Easy street parking, such a cute building and backyard seating! The perfect place to meet a friend, get breakfast, coffee and a sweet treat! Love supporting a Latina owned business!

This is simply the BEST vegan breakfast sandwich place in town! Their fresh baked biscuits are delicious and fluffy. Love their home made maple sausage and cheese sauce too! They use ‘Just Egg.’

First time in this area and only found 2 vegan breakfast places so wasn't feeling very confident on my options. HOWEVER, Little Barn blew my mind! It's woman and Latinx OWNED which I was excited to see! They have a great selection of sandwiches as well. It took me a while to order because I had a lot of questions and the cashier was very patient with me. The first sandwich ordered I substituted Daiya cheese for Follow Your Heart but it didn't melt very well. I went up and asked for a replacement and Celeste (one of the owners) not only remade my order, she also let me keep the original sandwich as well! Celeste and I had a conversation about me being meticulous with texture and do not prefer the Daiya brand. She said that they use a particular type of shreds that are only made for restaurants and she encouraged me to try it saying that others who had tried it said it was incredible and they didn't even believe that it was Daiya. Low and behold she was right!! The cheese came out gooey and melted and I couldn't tell that it was Daiya whatsoever! Not to mention BEST VEGAN BISCUIT IN 3 DECADES!! Was so tickled to have tried it and even more tickled with how amazing the customer service was and how special Celeste made me feel. Good customer service is hard to find these days and this place goes above all the rest!! There may not be a lot of breakfast places in this area, BUT that doesn't matter as this is the only breakfast place that you need! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Celeste! Will definitely be back!

One of my all time favorites ❤️❤️the hash brown breakfast burrito is everything. Parking is great the food is fresh and delicious and the dirty chai latte is one of the best in LA!

Absolutely love this spot. A mandatory visit every time I’m in town. The OG biscuit sandwich is one of my all time favorites

Glad I finally made it to this.. Glassel park? Cypress park? Coffee shop/vegan breakfast lunch place. Loved the backyard patio which is also the only seating. My vegan sausage biscuit was great, I'm not a vegan but I eat it a fair amount. My drip coffee was bad, served cold and tasted about a day old. I traded it in for an Americano which was better but still oddly not hot enough, anyways I would stick to a sryupey latte next time through. Def will be back again. Was not busy for lunch on a tuesday.

One of my new favorite breakfast spots! My partner and I both ordered breakfast biscuits, he got the bacon and I got the sausage. Both were so delicious and very filling. The chai tea latte I got was also amazing, especially since most chai lattes aren’t vegan friendly.

Stacy Deblois

Cool place with a good selection of vegan savory breakfast. The patio is so cute and intimate.

J

Perfect vegan/vegetarian brunch spot! I got a homemade biscuit sandwich with soy bacon and it was excellent. The biscuit was so flakey and delicious and paired well with the oat horchata cold brew. The picture really speaks for itself as far as the cheesey goodness of the meal. Seating is all outdoors on a shaded back patio with specific social distancing spots marked off. Hand sanitizer was provided and masks were required when not eating.

The croissants are so flaky and buttery, the lemon muffin was to die for, and their specials are endlessly interesting! I got a pistachio latte and the syrup tasted so homemade. My friend got a banana matcha, and wow is that a game changed to matchas!! All vegan, queer proud, and cozy as hell!

Little barn! Actually heard of this place through Instagram before via an account called veg news. After being in LA for couple days, thought we’d go try it especially after seeing the Google reviews! It was definitely rly good! The coffee quantity was HUGE and rly generous, both drinks we got were rly good. Food also hit! Decoration is also on point, feels like a little barn fr haha

What a cute little converted barn house. I love how the meat option is opposite here- so everything is implied vegan unless you actually want meat (ie eggs)... brilliant! We got the OJ sandwich and burrito. Both are filling and there's a cozy little backyard eating area as well. We came on a hot day so be sure to bring your mosquito spray. They are not always open but they do leave a note on the window to let you know upcoming days they will be closed. Street parking only.

Some of the best vegan food I've had! Hashbrown burrito and OG breakfast sandwich were BOMB. Iced Mint lemonade was sooo refreshing and the muffin was actually insane. Ok definitely be back to try lunch!!

Good coffee, pastries, and sandwiches, and all vegan too. Workers are super friendly and the back patio is a cute little spot where you can leisurely enjoy your food. I personally love their "chicken" pesto sandwich and their almond croissants.

Absolutely DELECTABLE Vegan Reuben. Cozy, atmospheric back patio pairs well with the swift and friendly service!

The coffee is delicious. The hash/sausage burrito I got was Absolutely HOT with every bite I took even after trying to let it cool off. I'm not from LA but if I was I'd be swinging by this spot regularly. Cool little hidden gem.

This cute patio café off Division St. has benches under string lights and really chill vibes. My pour-over was rich and the red bean frappe sounded odd but tasted like a sweet revival of childhood treats. They allow dogs outside, and even provided water for my pup. Easy parking and a neighborhood feeling, no downtown stress. Cozy spot to settle in with a laptop and a latte.

The tamales are legit. Get both! Coming from North Carolina, it's hard to find decent tamales, and even harder to find vegan ones that aren't just beans. This place packs a lot of flavor. The coffee is delicious, too! Would definitely come back if I visit LA again.

H

Delicious food and drinks and fantastic service. We got the egg scramble on a ciabatta with a green salsa and hashbrown on the side! In the back is a lovelyyyy place to eat and chill 😍🥰😍🥰 I kind of wish if you were dining in you could have washable dishes so we don’t waste so much. Tehe thank you though😍

M

Amazing vegan breakfast, brunch and lunch spot. The menu is expansive and has many options. We had the breakfast biscuit and the chicken pesto sandwich. Both were very good but the breakfast biscuit was the star. It has a slab of tofu, delicious sauce, melty cheese and sausage and the biscuit has a touch of delicious sweetness. You order at the front window and can sit in the back patio which had plenty of shade and seats. Note, there are no customer restrooms and no WiFi. We’ll be back.

Great food coming out of a small kitchen. Great ambiance and dog friendly seating in the back. Amazing croissant and breakfast burritos. Great bold flavors as my wife and I tried the Soyrizo and Just Egg(egg substitute). I am not vegan, I love eggs. I recommend.

Had to leave a review for this amazing place! Loved the vegan food during our first visit here and can't wait to go again soon to try more of their menu items. My husband and I were in LA visiting friends and found this amazing spot. There was plenty of street parking nearby. They have a walk up window you can order from. I would recommend the sausage breakfast sandwich. It was delicious both with the biscuit and with a subbed croissant. The breads were delicious and the fillings and sauce were so tasty. I would also recommend the hash browns which were golden crisp. The street corn bowl was delicious as well. Overall a super friendly, quick spot to eat with great food.

It’s a cute vegan spot serving coffee and breakfast, with plenty of plant-based dishes that mimic traditional animal-based foods. I had their cappuccino with oat milk — it was delicious. They also have a small outdoor seating area in the back.

First time here. This place came highly recommended by a friend. The lady at the counter suggested the breakfast sandos, but I was in the mood for lunch, so she said the Turkey Siracha was worth a try. I got it in a wrap. It was phenomenal! I dusted it in a few minutes because it was so dang good! The patio is a vibe as well. Perfect for sunny Cali days. If it’s raining, just get it to go, you will not be disappointed. Yummmm

M
Melissa

Great place for a quick meal. The service is great and the menu is extensive. There is something for everyone. Note- They have free street parking but it’s limited since it’s located in a neighborhood. The only area to dine in, is in the patio out back. It’s super cute but subject to weather conditions. It’s not covered. You order in the front window and pick up in the side window.

D
Daniel Choi

Cute hole-in-the-wall, all-vegan place with great food. They self-identify as a "togo-only facility" since customers are expected to order food and pick-up at a window. But the existence of a secret outdoor patio in the back with a handful of tables makes it closer to a quick service restaurant! Service at the window was great and it gives the vibes of a community restaurant. They have plenty of choices including cafe drinks (coffee, chai, lattes, etc.), an all-day breakfast menu, and more. The patio is cute and the ambiance was cozy. It had a peaceful, isolated-from-the-city feel and we even saw someone with their laptop open getting some work done. It's shaded by trees and was very clean. We got the hash-brown burrito, monte cristo, and the pumpkin spice latte. Hash-brown burrito - it's a medium-sized burrito that was delicious and served piping hot. It didn't come with any sides or sauces, but they had packets of cholula hot sauce upon request. Monte cristo - it seemed like a grilled-cheese sandwich, except the bread was replaced with french toast. It's served with syrup on the side. I thought it was nothing short of fantastic, but my girlfriend pointed out that the sweetness of the bread and the savoriness of the cheese didn't match too well. Pumpkin spice latte - we got it iced. Pretty good. Sweet. Served in a 16oz cup (same as a grande size at Starbucks). Note: they have no bathrooms

This is a wonderful coffee and breakfast spot in Mt. Washington. They have great attention to detail and make some truly delectable and filling breakfast items. The OG breakfast sandwich is quite good. I love the marinated tofu and the basil. The espresso is nice as well—balanced and not overly acidic. They serve some simpler items too like bread and butter and plain croissants. For me, though, the king of the food items at this restaurant is the tomatillo salsa! It is absolutely amazing, and so fresh. Some of the best tomatillo I’ve ever had. Another of my favorite things about this place is the service. The staff is very genuine, friendly, and attentive. You’re greeted with a smile and they’re happy to answer additional requests. I have nothing bad to say about this cafe—one of the best in northeastern Los Angeles.

The best hidden gem in northern LA! Latin-Vegan restaurant with the best chicken pesto sandwich and tamales. Staff were so wonderful, you can tell the food is made with love. Try the horchata iced coffee once and never go back to regular coffee. Can’t wait to be back in LA just to come back again.

I love this place! So many details here that could be easily overlooked. But this gives you the opportunity to see something new each time you visit. On to the coffee! It’s fantastic! And even better there is a relaxing oasis in the back with tables and succulents. It’s a great place to start your day. Food is delicious, staff is friendly, atmosphere is tranquil. Highly recommend stopping here to fill your cup.

Our go to brunch spot. We have one dairy allergy in the fam and so we like that we don’t have to worry about that since everything is vegan. While I’m not vegan I love everything I get from here. The blt and breakfast sandwich and tamales and pastries along w the oat milk lattes are my staples here!

Wonderful little spot in the heart of the neighborhood. Fully vegan and their drinks have a default base option of soy milk. Food is made to order and pastries are awesome— also based on availability. There is a small dog-friendly patio outback in case your furry friend wants to join you on a chill morning on the town.

Went today to get some brunch! I got a bacon breakfast sandwich and an iced chai. My friend got a scramble, a side of hash brown, and a strawberry matcha. The food was pretty good and the place was so cute. The employees were also very nice. However, they charge for every little addition, such as a side of sauce. My friend’s side of hash brown was $2.75, but it was just one tiny oval of hash brown. I ordered my sandwich with ciabatta for an extra $3 and it came out with a croissant. It was still very good. My chai also got lost but they gave me a large as amends which was really nice. The chai was delicious and the matcha was pretty good, though the best part was the strawberry flavor and not the matcha itself. Overall, food and atmosphere were good, but can easily get quite pricey.

For what it is, this coffee shop/restaurant is pretty nice. I came here with the intention of spending a few hours reading a book, but I didn’t realize how small it was. There are a few tables and chairs in the backyard that will maybe fit 20 people. There is NO restroom, and they ask that people don’t stay for longer than an hour (which imo defeats the purpose of a cafe). Food wise, I had the Bacon Biscuit which was pretty good! I liked the vegan bacon a lot. I also had an iced mocha latte that was not bad.

Delicious vegan option for when you are craving the smokey flavors of traditional meat offerings. Sweet small business that is BIPOC & Woman-Owned!! My only issue is the portion size and the cost. The burritos we got were $14 and I was still hungry after. I wish they would have added more hash browns or something to make it worth the cost.

Updating my old review: I used to love this place, but it’s lost its appeal for me and I rarely go now. My husband and I ate here recently, we each got a biscuit sandwich, he had an americano and a hashbrown and I had a PSL, and it was $44. Seems very expensive for what it is. You can get a healthier, just as tasty meal at Kitchen Mouse for that price, eating off of real plates, and it’s food that doesn’t just come frozen (Just Egg, the sausage tastes like Jack and Annie’s, the hashbrowns definitely seem frozen). They now charge $1 for whip cream on drinks which used to just come standard. The times I’ve ordered a drink they didn’t ask me if I wanted whip cream regardless. The last 5 times I’ve visited my order was either missing something (like the side of salsa that they charge for) or the order was incorrect. And once you’re missing something from your order you are basically standing at the side window waiting for someone to notice you which can sometimes take a few minutes. The PSL is still amazing. Whatever biscuit they’re using for their sandwiches is very tasty, but everything else I’ve mentioned is reason enough for me to not go as often unfortunately. Original review: Amazing vegan cafe. The iced pumpkin spice latte is a dream. And dog friendly patio in the back.

On a quest to find the best vegan breakfast burrito and the one here was simply OK. The burrito had huge chunks of tofu with an obvious turmeric taste. Had to get some Cholula to give it some kick. I didn’t end up finishing it. There is a really nice outdoor space, that feels like an oasis. Ended up sitting here and reading for some time. Might need to come back and try something else.

I thought it was going to be great! Super cute. Fun menu items. The coffee was fine but we got a biscuit sandwich and a burrito and they both seem to have been microwaved for ten minutes as they were a nuclear mess when we got them. Also, there was so much cheese in both I felt like I was eating Elmers. I got the hash brown burrito and couldn’t discern which part of my filling was the actual potato. I’d try it again but maybe ask for less cheese and less zapped.
