These photos are not from the bar but they’re cider’s I’ve bought from Alma’s. I love to sit down and have a drink here but I also love that you can but cider to take home. This is a great option because they have the most unique cider selection in LA that is extremely hard to find anywhere else.

I found this cider bar on chance; needed a spot to land for an hour before my dinner reservation down the street. I was craving a nice dry cider. This spot has lots of friendly locals; a friendly helpful wait staff that will help you find the perfect cider (they have a huge selection/variety of ciders including lots of California ciders). The one she recommended hit the spot-check this spot out!!

I stopped into Alma’s Cider while visiting the area for the holidays because it’s conveniently located a couple blocks from where I was doing laundry. The very knowledgeable bartender (Patrick) helped me select the perfect pear cider (pictured) and it was delicious. At $10 it was also a great price for the portion and presentation. I appreciate the dim lighting, perfect for first dates or days when you don’t feel like putting on makeup. I definitely recommend.

We found ourselves starting off date night at Alma’s, ✨the only cider bar in Los Angeles AND with the biggest cider menu in the US and quite possibly the world✨ With so many delectable drinks in sight, we landed on a sour cider (me) and a Pilsner (him). Charcuterie Boards also are magically made right in front of you by the bartender, further giving off the Brooklyn vibe that’s fitting of the neighborhood🍻 Featured Graze Board: Big Plate (three cheeses, three meats, market pickles, corn nuts, bub & grandma’s sourdough bread)

Super quaint and cool little joint! They do indeed have a ton of ciders to choose from, although a lot of them are one-offs adorning the walls. Excellent selection for what's on tap and available in cans. Not a big spot so don't bring a huge crowd. Getting here from the metro is a hike, otherwise I'd be there all the time!

Best spot for cider drinkers and friends of cider drinkers alike. Something for everyone(beer and wine) as well as an eclectic range of ciders from all over the states and Europe. Great ambiance and a nice friendly crew. The waffles and other snacks are fire as well.

What a hidden gem! We came early on a Saturday afternoon and got a few drinks with the pickles to eat. This place is a vibe. Incredible selection and the atmosphere is so cool.

My son & I stopped in here while I was down here in LA for a visit. They have the largest selection of Ciders of anywhere I have found. Our waitress told us it was the largest selection in LA. I believe it. Everything we tried was delicious. The Bembel with Care - Gold from Germany was exceptional. The service was excellent and we were given several recommendations to try. I will definitely be back.

Cannot stress this enough that this place is a gem. If u find yourself near here, it's worth the stop. Keep in mind that it is small, but it adds to the appeal 😉 my favorite place on a hot day. The ambience inside attracts an eclectic local crowd and they have the best international cider lists I've come across (with knowledge bartenders to help you navigate it). They also have wine and beer taps (try whichever pilsner they have on the Czech style side-pull faucet). Food options are mainly charcuterie focused (I recommend the pickles) but they frequently have food vendors set up outside on weekends.

The space is super cozy beautiful and the music was great. We didn’t try any of the food but the offerings looked tasty. Will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere, super friendly and knowledgeable staff, and ciders on offer are truly unique. I’ve had hard cider before— mostly Strongbow and Angry Orchard— and was always a little put off by how sickly sweet they are. I was half expecting this same sort of thing from Alma’s offerings, but boy was I wrong! Almas ciders are complex and delicious like a fine wine. Can’t wait to try everything they have on tap. This is definitely my new favorite bar. P.S. try the bubble waffle!

My wife loves cider so we were excited to find out about Alma's. When we walked in we weren't sure what to think. The atmosphere was kinda dark and it's a small space. We chatted with the bartender for a bit and he was super helpful. We ordered the meat and cheese tray and a bubble waffle along with some ciders we had never tried before. The meat and cheese were so unique and tasty-definitly not the usual basic stuff. Complex flavors he created were great. I've never had anything like the bubble waffle. Again, very unique and very good. Highly recommend Alma's. It was more than just a cider bar - it was a great experience!
