Can't say enough good things about this place. Despite the fact that service was slow, it is not the waitress's fault. Because Marixsa was a wonderful server who met all our needs. The kitchen was slow tonight. Everything we had tasted delicious. We had the pasta and the cheese wheel. We had oso bucco... lamb chops... lobster with the pasta. We had Ciopino and the meatballs.. brussetta, and cheesy bread... humm panchetta plate w burrata cheese.. It was delicious. The pastas are handmade and were actually very light and fluffy. Almost melts in your mouth, delicious and a delight on the tongue. It's a definite spot to go to for delectable eats. If that's your thing.. because it is ours. Family that drinks together, eats together. Great place for celebrations of any kind.. and don't forget to order the pistachio cake for dessert..yummmm

Hey you guys so I have a few restaurants to review still but this one right here definitely deserves a great review. It is located downtown so just park in the parking and walk right to the restaurant. When we walked in we were greeted and seated pretty quick. For it to be a nice restaurant we didn't have to dress up we were very casual dressed. The waiter was very knowledgeable on the menu. And even though I don't eat a lot of seafood my food was still good. I just wanted shrimp and pasta but he said you can't make changes to the menu. We got the bread and it was delicious. The meatballs were top tier. The lasagna was so fresh. They make the pasta fresh in house and omg yall it was on point. The fettuccine was so fresh and pasta so soft and light. They even have the chef bring out this cheese wheel and make your pasta right in the cheese wheel its pretty cool. I probably get that next time just for the experience. The waiter said it tastes like an elevated fettuccine taste. Overall the service was good the waiters all checked on us and it was just nice. They only have a one stall bathroom but it it decored pretty nice. I will be going back. We spent like 190.00 and tip 32.00 so it was like 222.00 for the bill. I forgot to take a picture of the bill yall but expect to pay around that price if you ordering for more than one person.

So we didnt have a normal waiter to start but he tried so service was okay, but then Ryan our awesome server took over and killed it. Had GREAT recommendations and he just has a great personality. Definitely made the night. When we first walked in we thought we might be in the wrong place but no it's just a small space. The food is worth the wait. If you can make a reservation just to make sure you get a table. No parking lot but joes parking lot is 10$ and a less than a minute walk.

Lisa was wonderful! There was no hostess and a male waiter and bartender saw my daughter and I standing there and did not attempt to greet us or let us know someone would be with us soon. There was a woman with lavender colored hair who also did not greet us but was walking around talking to customers. We came to LA to celebrate my daughter’s 18 birthday so that lack of customer service really left a lot to be desired. We were about to leave when Lisa came over to ask if we’d been helped. She was very sweet. We didn’t have a reservation but she was able to seat us right away. She did tell us they had several people call out that night. Now for the food. One word…delicious! We had the cheese garlic bread to start. It looked like a pizza and all I can say is I wish that we had time to actually try one of their pizzas because if it’s anything like the cheese garlic bread then it would be fantastic! I had the chicken parmigiana. Best I have ever had. This is my go to order at Italian restaurants so I’ve had my fair share. My daughter had the fettuccine Alfredo and said it was creamy and delicious. Would definitely be back the next time I visit LA. Hope to be greeted better but I would ask for Lisa.

The place is beautiful and it’s like you walk into another world from the downtown area. It’s family friendly and date friendly. The hosts are attentive and get your order right. The food portions were great and the flavor was also good and authentic. We had the cheese bread, the chicken parmigiana and the pizza, and tiramisu as the desert. Highly recommend.

The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, and the atmosphere couldn’t have been more perfect! The owner, Galia, is a true hands-on business owner, and we were lucky to be served by William and Francesco, who both went above and beyond. Every dish was spectacular! This has officially become our new favorite Italian spot for birthdays or anytime we’re craving authentic Italian cuisine. I’m honestly surprised this place doesn’t have more stars—it’s time to change that! This “hidden gem” deserves to go viral! They made my 40th birthday extra special, and for that, I am so grateful. Thank you, God, Galia, and her incredible team!

This place has some pretty good food. The alfredo is super creamy and rich in flavor, the pizza was great and not too greasy. Servers were very nice and always attended our table. 10/10 spot .

The service, food and atmosphere are incredible. The ambience was elegant, pleasant, and inviting! I felt so welcome by all the servers, host, and staff. The food was excellent!! The bruschetta was lovely and the carpaccio was perfect. The pasta dish with Parmigiano Reggiano (cheese wheel) and fresh truffle is amazing. The best pasta I think I’ve ever had. They have other wonderful, gourmet dishes like ribeye steak and pizzas as well! Cannot wait to come back and enjoy this little “pocket of Italy” in LA!

Amante Restaurant is an amazing place. The food is consistently 5 star. We really enjoy dining at this establishment. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We have been here often enough to watch their newbies grow and become excellent customer service providers. Amante never appears to be busy, though we only enjoy dining during weekend lunch hours. I have been told that they have a very busy online ordering schedule to maintain. The dishes are bountiful in portions and you will always have extra for later. I have noticed on several occasions folks speaking Italian to the staff. I absolutely love that. Parking can be an issue. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant. It truly is one of the best.

Amante is a very cute restaurant, little expensive if your on a budget. I’d would say it was okay pasta needed to be a bit more seasoned but that’s what you get a traditional Italian places and m table was complaining about the portion sizes. But overall I had a good time

We decided to go for an early lunch to avoid the crowds. We were seated and served quickly, and the waiter was very pleasant. The food was tasty, and it was a nice setup. The only thing we missed out on is their signature dish that is only served during dinner, but it was still an overall a nice experience.

Food is amazing, many different options of pastas and tea, as well as salads. Atmosphere was a bit humid and dark but they put a light at your table which makes it nice, the severs talked to you and held conversation, they were great! I would come if you are visiting LA for sure

The foods good and pricing is decent, $40 for a non meat pasta and a white wine. I don’t think it’s bad but for me 3/5 is average and this place is average. If you are in the area stop in and try it, but don’t drive out of your way to eat here type of place.

Let me start by saying I live up the street from this location and usually order my food to go with no issues. However, today I decided to dine in, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. I’m also a diabetic and waited to to eat here just for dinner We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, which wasn’t a big deal. But after sitting down, we waited another 20 minutes just to have our order taken. Then it took an hour and a half for our food to come out. When we asked our waiter how much longer it would be, we were told there were four tables ahead of us and that we would need to wait another 15 minutes. In total, it took about two hours to receive our food. They never check on us ask if we need anything I guess we not as important as the other guest. Server was Lewis The food itself was good, but the service was extremely disappointing. No updates, no sense of urgency, and we weren’t even offered bread or anything while we waited. Overall, it was a horrible dining experience. I will not be returning to eat here again.
