Opinions de Bubble U Los Angeles
I love smoothies and bobas, out of all the places I been too for years this has to be the top 3. I ordered a mango strawberry Smoothie and it was the freshest ingredients. very Smooth and went down easily. The smoothie wasn’t super thick just the right consistency that made you want another sip. Before I knew it it was gone and I wanted to order another. The other drink was their Strawberry Matcha. Which was very creamy and delicious, while having a rich refreshing taste. Highly recommend this for matcha lovers! The staff was warm and welcoming. Answered any questions I had and even offered suggestions! Very hospitable and the place has a relaxing environment and smells very nice 10/10 will be back everyday while I’m on my vacation. Recommend Snow to everyone she was awesome.
Top tier boba spot. Whatever you get here from Thai tea to sea salt coffee, it is absolutely delicious. On top of that the store owner is very kind and draws pretty illustrations on top of the boba tea. Today we got a LABUBU.
So many good options fast service and absolutely delicious had to get 2. Minutes away from my art studio so very happy to see something delicious in the area.
I had an amazing experience at this boba shop! The drinks were absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. The boba pearls were fresh and chewy, just how I like them. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Finally, a boba shop in south downtown L.A., and the drinks taste pretty good! I've enjoyed their original spot in Chinatown, so I'm glad they've opened a spot here too. There are a lot of different kinds of drinks, with flexible options for ice, sweetness, different milks, etc. They take both cash and card at this location. Not a lot of seating, unfortunately. Hopefully they'll add more in the future.
5/5 – Spotless and Impressive! I’m giving this place a solid 5/5 even before my boba order is ready—because it’s that clean! The entire space is immaculately maintained, with not a scrap of trash in sight. Even behind the counter is spotless—so clean I’d honestly drink from the faucet! It’s rare to find a spot this well-kept, and I’m genuinely impressed. A hidden gem for sure!
Update 2/8/24: Tried the Honey Green milk tea (5.25) this time with full honey and quarter ice and it was very good! It tastes much better than when they use regular sweetner in the milk tea. There is more of a tea taste but still a good amount of the sweetness from the honey. Very good! Would recommend! They also had a cute cup design for the dragon lunar new year. Got the sea salt green tea, jasmine milk tea, and brown sugar boba. They have online ordering or you can order in store on their kiosk. They don't accept orders at the counter or register. The store is very quiet and cute in Chinatown for siting with friends or doing some work. Drinks were ready quite fast and tasted pretty good. The tea is authetic tasting and sea foam was great. The sea foam drinks come with a cute design for free as well! Very nice! Most of the drink sizes are 32 oz and the cup is made of a nice quality and designed nice. It isn't like other boba places these days who are buying cheaper cups are feel super flimsy. This place overall has great drink options that are worth its price. Not mindblowing, but affordable drinks- much cheaper than some other places nowadays. This is what I prefer when I get drinks and not a milk tea costing over $6. I would definitely come back to try their other drinks.
Clean atmosphere lots of flavor choices, matcha and the strawberry special flavor were good
My friends and I decided to stop by here after exploring Chinatown. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a super friendly and helpful employee. I had milk tea with 50% sugar and tapioca, and my friends got some other drinks and macarons. Everything was really yummy and refreshing. While we were there, I noticed the employee continued to be really nice and friendly to people, even when it was approaching closing time. Definitely a place to check out.
The shop is situated in the Chinatown, Los Angeles. The clerk is so nice and have many drinks that you can choose. We ordered Thai milk tea with bubble and Matcha milk tea. They are not so sweet and the bubble is chewy. Very recommend this shop for drinking.
Sooo good! Boba was delicious! Good service, cute place. I had the tiramisu boba, others had black sugar boba, Thai iced tea boba, mango green tea boba. All fantastic. The boba was just right — fresh, sweet but not overly - same with the coffee and teas. Definitely would visit again when in the neighborhood.
Neat ambience. You have to order through iPad they have and you will get notification when your order is ready. Preparation time is fast. Chairs are there to chill with their amazing bubble U drink.
Really delicious. So many options. I wish I had seen the burn burn options. Both look great. We had two macarons. They were perfect. The drinks were great as well. The place is not a chain. It only exists here for now. The interior is really nice. I do wish they had more chairs, but then it would be even more crowded. I would recommend a visit if you are nearby.
My daughter took me because she knows how much I love Boba! This is my new favorite boba spot closest to our place. I am so happy to find it. I was going to Monterey Park to get the boba that I felt was the best. This now ranks as the best in Los Angeles for me!
Im not one to glaze but damn the smoothie i got was great, the cup was very cute too and a good size for what i spent
Decent price, self service tablet makes ordering easy and quick. Only downside is never any street parking.
You can see the super cute latte art on the top. Bubble U makes great tasting tea. I had the melon cream drink that was rich is the smooth flavor of honeydew. I also ordered this HK style curry fish ball and on doordash there’s no picture or description, but here’s a picture. It comes with 5-6 individually wrapped curry flavored fish balls that tasted like fish sausage.
Cute store in Chinatown, but it seems dead with no human interaction. You walk in and order with the machines and cannot ask questions since no one is there. It's great that it's high-tech but no customer service. Not worth the hype of high reviews since my Thai green tea boba was light like water and medium soft boba. Maybe other drinks are good, but I don't think I will make my way to come here again. Price is high, but the experience was low. Parking is challenging since it's a busy area in Chinatown.
OK tea in the area if you are craving boba! Whenever I try a new boba shop, I order an "Original Boba Milk Tea" or "House Boba Milk Tea." For some reason, I could not find any item titled that. The closest I could find was brown sugar milk tea with boba, but I don't like brown sugar in my milk tea. So, I settled on a black milk tea with golden boba, 70% sweetness. It was okay! Ordering is via Kiosk or even ahead, online. The drink came out very quickly! Overall - I wouldn't mind coming back if I was craving tea with boba. My coworker really liked her tea and the macarons though!
Awful drink and super expensive. Took the train here so didn’t have to worry about parking but if we paid for parking to come here, I would have been mad! You have to order using their monitor screen at the front (hate that, especially when someone is there at the counter already). All the drink options did not really stand out to me but it was a warm day so we wanted to get something refreshing. Chose the strawberry drink with crystal boba and it honestly was not very good. The boba was shaped weird but tasted ok. The drink itself was not a good mix and had an odd taste. It was $9 (I did choose a lactose friendly milk)!!!! Definitely not worth the price. The decorations in front were cute and there is sufficient seating inside. But I would not come back here nor recommend it.
