Wonderful brunch and breakfast. Be sure to bring your cholesterol and blood pressure medication pagkatapos kayo.
Budol "fight" style. Dont let that intimate you. First off, all "dry" food are laid out neatly in the middle of a table covered with banana leaves. If you order saucy or soupy food, it will of course be on a bowl. No utensils unless requested. The "fight" comes when you sit down and start serving yourself the most delicious Filipino comfort food. There's a convenient sink to wash your hands first. This is the 2nd Budol fight style restaurant ive been too. But this one does not need prepaid reservation. Just order off the menu and Happy eating and happy belly!
I've been here before for events with the family. It's kind of our go-to place when we dont want to cook Filipino food and worry about clean up afterwards. It's in a interesting location surrounded by Mexican restaurants and stores but it's been going strong within the community for a while and I hope it stays that way. What's great about Bamboo Bistro is their sense of camaraderie and heritage for Filipino culture. They have karaoke nights, show Filipino television shows and they have "Kamayan" which is the traditional way of eating Filipino food; with your hands. You don't have to speak tagalog to eat here either, you usually can just point at what looks good and it'll come with a side of rice. Just be weary if you're on a diet since Filipino food is like the Soul Food of Asia. They also do catering orders *cash only*
So much fun and entertainment, you will not fall asleep with the comedian hosts/singers. Very funny and have an awesome voice. You will also dance with others to have a little exercise for fun. Food is reasonably priced and so delicious. Come and experience it for yourself with friends and families 🚗🥰👍💃 🎤
I am the traveler. If you are looking for authentic Filipino food this is it. Absolutely amazing. Served family style come hungry. I was here for Saturday karaoke started around 9. Small crowd great sound system. Highly recommend. Felt very welcome. Thank you Bamboo
1 of the best pinoy food in the valley been coming to this place 4 about 5 years and still good food
Great experiment as I went on a Friday night with my fiance as we were invited by a friend. The place is very friendly and the food was great. The manager Dan was very welcoming and was very attentive. Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for some really good filipino food and some entertainment.
SO DELICIOUS!! Very satisfied. We found out about this restaurant from family who found out from friends. We passed through from Colorado and it was worth it!! Customer service was friendly and helpful. Clean and family environment. But the food!!! Good comfort Filipino food!! Experience was fun and enjoying. Will be coming back for sure!
Great authentic Filipino food ! We came Saturday 10-12 & it was an amazing experience, the lady on the cashier was very nice & welcoming w/ her beautiful smile & welcomes to guest 🥰 the food was delicious, and real authentic Pinoy flavors , from tapa , tuyo , tocino , oh and the SINIGANG was the best for me ! It took me back in the Philippines when I was in high school, eating rice 🍚& sinigang for lunch 🥲 I felt at home again 🇵🇭💕 Maraming salamat po! Thank you sa nag luto din po ❤️🤍💛
One of the few great Filipino restaurants here in Los Angeles area. The restaurant is located right in the middle of Panorama City. Don’t be discouraged by the hustle and bustle of the busy Panorama City , once you step inside Bamboo Bistro, you’ll be greeted by cheerful staff and eventually taste the great food of the Philippines. This is my first time in this place and I was not disappointed. Will definitely go back for more.
Service was typical of filipino restaurants. If you come here on nights there's entertainment and it's basically a filipino party. Good food, Music, dancing, Karaoke, and drunk relatives. We came here for dinner on a Saturday night and the food was a little pricey for the size BUT the flavor was worth it! We will definitely be coming here when we visit LA. We really enjoyed the food and entertainment and will be bringing friends next time.
Rating: 4.7/5 "Bamboo Bistro is a standout Filipino restaurant that truly shines with its exceptional food quality and outstanding customer service. The staff are super friendly and attentive, making sure you feel at home while enjoying your meal. Their warmth and hospitality add to the overall dining experience. The comedy and karaoke entertainment bring the energy, making it a great spot for gatherings and celebrations. Overall, Bamboo Bistro's commitment to serving high-quality food with exceptional service makes it a must-visit destination for anyone looking for an authentic Filipino dining experience."
Pretty good underrated filipino food place in the valley. And great family sized portions too for a fair price. The lechon kawali was especially crispy
Love this place!! It's my favorite place for atmosphere for music and fellowship. The owner is so friendly!! Amazingly comfortable. The food is absolutely the best!! Don't forget the karaoke on the weekends!!
Filipino breakfast or lunch buffet during weekends. They have a nice set of Fililino comfort foods spread like lechon kawali, kare-kare, pansit, sinigang, ginataan, etc. The buffet comes with refillable drinks. The food were fresh and tasty. I highly recommend if you have anybody would like to bring your friends/family. Good service as well. Will come back

Great breakfast menu. Reminds me of real home-cooked meal. Not 4 star resturant quality but good old home cooked meal like Lola used to make.
An absolute gem that delivers an unforgettable buffet experience rooted in rich flavors, tradition and warm hospitality. Once you walk-in, you will be greeted with genuine smiles and the irresistible aroma of freshly prepared dishes. The spread was both generous and diverse, showcasing the depth of Filipino cuisine. Standouts includes: Oxtail Kare-Kare with rich peanut sauce and fall-off the bone oxtail paired with house made shrimp paste; Beef Kaldereta. rich savory flavor and tender, slow cooked beef- my favorite: Lechon kawali with perfectly crackling skin and tender meat that melts in your mouth. What really sets Bamboo Bistro apart is the attention to detail and authenticity, each dish tasted homemade. The ambiance was warm and lively, plus, you can view several pictures of well known personalities from the Philippines taken with the owner while visiting the restaurant. This buffet offers an immersive satisfying and utterly delicious experience. it's morethan just a meal, it's a celebration of Filipino culture and hospitality.

It’s been a several years since I was last ate here, I decided to check them out, I came here on a. Sunday brunch, there was no sign of the buffet prices ( there was the last time I was here) Their buffet is still only on the weekends Breakfast buffet $17.99 Lunch buffet $23.75 Their buffet is worth it if you are hungry. The place is kept clean, the servers were friendly and professional, the place was packed with families
No Buffett during our visit. All was a la carte menu. The Crispy Pata is what we enjoyed the most but they only offered the Large order at the time. It was perfectly Crispy as it should be and the flavor was great. The Bangus Sinigang was also great tasting but I got annoyed with the Scales on the fish was left on which I had to avoid consuming the skin. The soup is perfectly Sour seasoned. Their Liempo was a too sweet and had to breakdown the sweetness by dipping into the vinegar sauce. I've had better. We didn’t really care much with the Adobong Sitaw. It didn't meet our expectations. Restrooms were clean and also includes a Tabo by the commode.
Love the food, service is ok. The lunch buffet is worth the price. The only thing i observed is the light needs to be more bright to make it more welcoming. Over all it is a nice experience im full.
AYCE filipino brunch buffet is a good deal on the weekends but the food selection is somewhat limited. The deal does come with a drink though. Food is excellent!
What I like about this place is their catering special. For about 2 years now, for almost all of our parties, we order food from here. It used to be cheaper though, I remember it was only $130 before, then $150, now $190. But then again, can’t complain for the price hike. I love that you get 5 trays of food - 1 option for Beef, Pork, Chicken, Vegetables and Noodles. We always order - Kare-kare, Lechon Kawali, Chicken Afritada, Chopsuey and Pancit Canton. 😋 They are always excellent over the phone, and when we pick up the food. 👍🏻

Filipino Breakfast Buffet! Food selections aren’t that many. I love kare kare (they have it). We went in Saturday morning for the buffet. Alot of parking at the back where the entrance is. Pay first before being seated. We are a party of four for a total of $100++. You have to pay 18% gratuity before being seated. Don’t forget that soda and coffee are included. Here are the selections that i remember. White rice, garlic rice, jeprox, kare kare, lingganisa, beef tapa, sinigang na baboy, mixed veggies, litson kawali, bilo bilo deserts. The flavor is in the salty side. Plenty of seats, the owner is welcoming and talk to customers. Cheaper than others but won’t be coming back.
3/5 for the food. Although the food is okay the vibes here was phenomenal. The food was not that hot when it came and I felt like it was not fresh. Got the nilagang baka, beef steak, and liempo. Liempo was really good though
I went there on one Saturday for brunch, and it was so crowded. It happened to have an event or something on that day. Lining up for 20 25 mins and waiting for another 10 mins on the food line. The arrangement was all messed up as the people were crossing with each other at the food line. However, the Filipino food they offered was good, and it is worth the price. Overall, it was just too many people in the small buffet like this
I'll make this quick and simple because I know you just wanna do some karaoke here 😎🤙🏽 Good food ✅ Karaoke ✅ you can sing if you request. Serves liquor ✅ I only got beer. Plenty of parking spaces. ✅
I’ve been killing for some pork adobo. This really hit the spot, it gives me a home feeling that I only get from friends home cooking. I was bummed out that it was not all you can eat as advertised, only on the weekends. The waiters were kind and welcoming. They did give an odd feeling because we are from a different ethnicity. I ce they realized we loved the culture and food, the environment changed and even started conversation. We ordered fried chicken for the kids and they loved it, it isn’t Popeyes quality but more home made fried. It still has a decently good flavor. We will be coming in again and trying different menu items. If you’re anything like me and enjoy spicy. Not much spicy food is offered and not much hot sauce. Otherwise, give it a shot and enjoy!
Hello fellow foodies, not real enthused with this place, yet keeping it real once again.... Came in for breakfast with the fam this morning after reading their reviews on Google and Yelp. Initially observed they could have turned up their airconditioner a bit, it would be more comfortable in there. Considering it was a hot and exceptionally humid morning that extra cooling would have been appreciated. In all fairness, the food was okay with particular emphasis and kudos on the thinly fried fish referred to as "jeprox". Real satisfying with garlic rice. The "longanisa" was well seasoned and cooked quite well. Goes down real easy too. A little dissapointed with the preparation of their "tocino", fried chicken, and adobo as they appeared undercooked and cold. Just couldn't handle more than two or three bites. (...however in the spirit of fairness, the food looked appetizing in the warmer.) I really believe once they get their act together, this place definitely has tremendous potential. I will give Bamboo Bistro another try in a few months, and trust that appropriate changes will be made to secure and lock in my business. See you guys then, I know you can do it guys! See you in a few months. Thank you!

Had high hopes for Bamboo Bistro after reading a lot of the great reviews, but unfortunately was sorely disappointed by the inattentive service (despite being literally the only dine-in party the entire time) and the mediocre food. Perhaps dinner service doesn’t match the quality of their more popular lunch buffet, but this experience certainly doesn’t leave me eager to return More details: Came by for dinner as a party of two on a Sunday and were the only customers throughout our meal. This didn’t translate to attentive service though - our server was constantly on her phone or talking to friends and we had to repeatedly get up and flag her down for assistance. We ordered pancit canton and beef kare kare, both new to us dishes. The pancit was a bit too oily and salty for my taste, while the kare kare featured scant pieces of oxtail in a sauce that tasted like watered-down peanut butter, completely lacking depth or complexity. The kare kare appeared with a giant bowl of rice, which we barely made a dent in. To our surprise, when the bill arrived, we saw an extra charge for the rice —something we hadn’t ordered and that our server never mentioned would come with the kare kare or that it was an extra cost. When we raised the issue, she refused to acknowledge the oversight or remove the charge, which was incredibly frustrating. From the inattentive service to the disappointing food to the extra fees, I can’t recommend Bamboo Bistro to others.

We were eating dinner and when the very loud karaoke singers entertainment started , it forced us to leave because it was impossible to hear each other to continue our conversation.
Very bad employee or owner I called today to order they i can and I have to tell them to text the menu and they wouldn't so disappointed and I should not eat here very inconsistent with service inconvenience
We tried their food for the first time through UberEats late at night when we arrived in L.A., and it was amazing—authentic Filipino flavors. Naturally, we were excited to visit the restaurant the next day. While the food was still great, the service was a huge letdown. The server was rude and unprofessional. When I asked where the crispy pata was, she looked irritated, rolled her eyes, and just pointed at it without saying a word. I told her I wanted the regular size, but when the bill came, we realized she had served us the family size instead. We had no idea about the size difference, and it felt like she wasn’t paying attention to our order at all. It was such a disappointing experience, especially considering how good the food was.
we have ordered kare kare (oxtail in peanut sauce) for pick up, we came all all the way from lancaster and back, to serve this to our guests. sadly the food was very disappointing, meat was not tender, there was barely sauce it in and barely no veggies which is what you look for in this dish. and to make this worst there was hair in the food (photo included), embarrassing enough that it was one of our guest that seen it. to drive an hour just to get to this restaurant and hour back for this!!! we asked for a refund for food that we were not able to enjoy cause if health / clean issue and gas that wasted, they compensated for the food but not the gas. and even commented " you're gonna do that to your fellowmen?" its not bein the fellowmen, the issue here is they dont prepare the food right and to mention not following proper handling, i can almost guarantee whoever prepared this dish was not wearing hair net or hair cap.
I went to its weekend buffet. No price notification but directly took our card to pay. Pay first and then you can go in to take plates. No service at all. Btw, price automatically include soda…. 2people charged 52. Beef tasted so dry. Flavors are fair. Just not worth it. I won’t recommend or try next time.
