This restaurant is very busy and there are usually lines, but the get the orders out fast. The food is fresh and it tastes great. The manager is terrific. She is nice, patient and always ready to help.

I love pollo loco. They have the best grilled chicken with delicious sides. a few years back I got food that looked over cooked and unappetizing but decided to give this locations anothe try. I was amazed at how much the quality has gone up everything looked amazing and was all freshly made. i went through the drive through it was a bit rough ordering but once I came to the windows the guy apologized said it was hard hearing me which I understood n really appreciated him saying that. there were 3 guys who looked very young maybe in there teens . they were very playful with one another and helping each other out. I thought it was very lovely seeing them enjoy there job especially in a time like this. they were all working so hard and you could see how they worked as a team to get all the orders done fast and efficienttly. I will would definitely come back here
Mmmm so good. I wish they would bring back the black beans. The tostada's are great... As well as the burritos. I usually order the familia deal . Plenty of food...hot to order...and so tasty too.... They take EBT as well...

I’ve been coming to this El Pollo loco for over a year and I love it. I just met the new GM Owen while he was walking around the restaurant introducing himself to guests. He asked me what I like about El Pollo loco and I told him that it was a great value and healthier than other fast food restaurants. He told me he agreed and said that places like McDonalds only make you full for an hour or two before your hungry again. I can’t imagine a life without El Pollo loco!
Full disclosure: Pollo Loco is a personal favorite. I give this 5 stars as a fast food restaurant, because it meets those expectations. Service was very good, and there was a new trainee there so I could see how they treat the newbies. Which is very good as far as I could tell. Customers were also patient with him which is also very good. Speaking of very good, that also describes the food. I really like the marinade that they use and everything was cooked wonderfully. Pollo Loco. You can't go wrong there.

Service here is always great. They do get busy and like that I can order the kids meal when don't want to have a big meal but want to settle my hunger. Like that they stay busy so the chicken is not dry or old. The salsa bar since covid is not existing so do miss being able to grab my own salsa.
Great service the staff is real nice and friendly. The food is always perfect from temperature when served to the taste. The restaurant is well kept. The slightly bad thing is that the restrooms are outside so it's hard for the crew to keep them clean but even at that is not so bad.
Had a great experience today. Thanks to Ruben who seems like he was on top of everything. Making sure our orders came out correctly. My husband and I really appreciated it ! Thank you again Ruben !
Chicken pieces are small. Wing was o er done and leg wasn't much better. I am sad to say I am now a customer of Pollo Compero. They have fresh chicken that is grilled with better seasonings. You Taste the flavor.
Updated at the bottom: I go to this el pollo loco a lot because it’s close but my gosh could the service be better. One time I was here the manager had mopped the floor but left the floor soaking wet which also caused me to fall twice. When I mentioned it to the manager he did not care. This last time I was waiting almost 10 minutes in front of the cash register while I hear 3 people in the managers room just talking. There was no acknowledgement that I was there and to make matters worse I have to hear the drive through workers use all the N word 100 times. And when I told Alexa about me waiting she said to understand that she needs to take a break. I only eat here because it’s close but not the service here is sub par. UPDATE: I wanted to acknowledge Marjorie who did a fantastic job in the drive through today. She remembered how many green salsas I normally get and reminded me to scan my El Pollo Loco rewards. Service has seemed a little better the past few weeks..

This location is hit and miss. Today was a hit because my order was correct. This location has served me and my family raw chicken in the past years. I've also been here before the pandemic and the lobby was filthy half of the time. Customer service is average.
I always eat dinner here around 7:00 p.m. and they NEVER have crunchy tacos, they always say that they ran out, this is ridiculous when they still have hours to go before closing time!
Good food. Staffs okay certain staff are rude tried getting a token to wash my hands and there are two of the young lady staff that are rude I left the first couple times two days ago I went the lady at the register was nice and patient. Bathrooms a bit dirty due to stupid customers I bet but its good to come and eat.
Very small can get a bit crowded but the employees are nice. The drive thru is a bit odd but you get what you pay for. The Tostada salad is delicious. (Creamy avocado dressing is the best)
Most employees very nice. Really fast service. I don't know why , but my last 5 visits , different times , they never have ANY of the sides choices , always stuck with same old rice and beans. One day I hope to try the cilantro lime rice.
updated— four times out of five the service has been atrocious. I understand for aome the location makes it unavoidable, so my beat advice is check your ordee before you leave. This location is known for forgetting items and providing an overall forgettable experience. this time around they took 20+mins for the dine-in experience (on everyone's order. one lady complained it was more than 30 for her). i decided to just head to another location which provided my order in leas than four minutes.
Walked in for takeout. The place looks dirty, especially the tables. Once I got home, I noticed the chicken was super dry and like it was old. It did not taste fresh at all. Maybe they don't sell as much . Wouldn't recommend going there.
This place needs to be updated. The seats are all damaged. I have my grandkids with me And I have to use the baby mat from the baby bag to seat to avoid being injured. Hope the owner can see this comment n take care of his business.
For a fast food place, I've never expected much from customer service especially the attitude. However, I only order one item on the menu which was double chicken bowl but for some reason they heard me ordered double chicken tostada. Then she gave me that look at the window. I also asked for extra hot sauce because I love them but unfortunately they said they ran out. How can a place that has not many sauces ran out? I'm not sure if they forgot to order the sauces from the company or they have to make it but never did. This isn't professionalism. And one more thing, the avocado wasn't that fresh it was partially black and bruise. They probably ran out of good avocado too I guess. Would I go back? Yes I would but not on Fridays. Hopefully the shift changes help.
Hit or Miss at this Location. I Love the food here but this location is mediocre. Probably has to do due with the physical location, homeless & drama are a constant issue. Staff needs to be more motivated
Food is good, prices are low. Service is not to good. The service during lunch time is very poor. Employees don't even let you ask for your order status because they are very busy. No matter how you order, it takes about 20 minutes or more to get your order.
Chicken is always dry, tables are dirty everytime I go there it's not so great needing to ask one of the workers to do there job they care more about getting and taking orders out then keeping the dining area clean. I kinda stopped going cause some creeps go here too and I never feel comfortable and the food has turned wack.
I used to eat there once a week. After the cashier gave me my food wearing no gloves after touching cash. When I got home my chicken was so burned it was petrified. The young employees don't care to work hard and do a good job. Sad but true.
The person who assisted us and other staff members looked under the influence. I arrived a minute before 9pm both doors were locked we got in due to another costumer opening the door. The employees were socializing instead of assisting us. Minutes later they helped us that’s when I suspected them being under the influence. They had slow speech and low eyes our food was done in less then 5 minutes on the bring side. Overall I say experience is mid just be careful with floor is wet because there are no signs and sometimes it’s wet
Good yummy food with care but the Hihgiene of that place is sky rocketing floor has wet soda pieces of food all around the floor tables do not get clean after a person eats. Their restroom have toilet paper and pee all over the floor. This place is a yeast infection I don't know how they get away with this.
I won't be going back. I tried to order the Baja shrimp salad and the employee said "we don't have shrimp here, only chicken". I don't know that's entirely true..? I would understand something like 'we don't have shrimp right now' or 'that was a limited time only item'. But I see it on the El Pollo Loco website as an option and it doesn't say limited time only. Either way I ordered another item. This same employee also didn't sound very happy taking my order, almost like she was bored or upset. We pull up to the window and the other employee only spoke once to tell me my total. I didn't wait too long for my food and I asked the employee kind of surprisingly "is this everything?" and he didn't reply, he just kinda awkwardly smiled. So I said thanks and he still hadn't said anything else and we left. I noticed I was missing my side salad (we only ordered a tostada salad & two side items) so we had to drive back around to the drive thru window. As we're pulling up the same employee had his hand out the window holding the missing side salad. I said "great thanks!" and he STILL didn't say anything, he just had that same awkward smile. By the way, when we're at the window and I could see all the employees, none of them looked happy to be there. All the employees here need a course in learning basic proper and professional communication skills! As for the food, the side salad definitely wasn't fresh, but the side mac & cheese was good. I was told the chicken tostada salad isn't ever worth going back for. I think this location could use an Undercover Boss episode to figure out what's going on with the workers and to teach them updated menu item info and what to explain/how to communicate with customers.
I went to the drive thru ordered food had to go in there cus all my food wasn't there walking in to the management fighting with employees so unprofessional I had to literally yell out excuse me i need help to the point where the girl enpoyee was bing super desperctfull with her boss and everyone around Panorama City California Pollo loco need new staff sorry but not sorry
I’m sorry the worst customer service! Employees are too distracted with conversations. They didn’t prepare my to go meal correctly. The containers were wet! They did not supply me with utensils and napkins. How am I supposed to enjoy my meal. If those main items are missing. Plus I understand customers are now supposed to use the kiosks. But give your damn customers attention! There are individuals who need help placing orders!
My wife and I came here to grab dinner since we were nearby. We got the chicken meal, I got rice and Mac and cheese for my order. My wife got Mac and cheese and beans for her side. I asked if they had pico de gallo and the lady working the drive thru said yes. I asked for extra and my wife asked for tomatoes sauce. I asked for flour tortillas and my wife asked for corn. They only give us corn tortillas. The chicken didn't have that much meat on them. The Mac and cheese was delicious along with the rice. The drive thru is very narrow.
Food is a hit or miss. Most of the time they mess up on the order. It smells really bad in the dinning area, like urine or dirty mops. If you ask the team for condiments or to clean a table at times they will give you a hard time. It's unfortunate that this is the nearest location since at other locations I can say it's completely different. Kid friendly, but if you are like me it's really difficult to dine in as you do not want to eat at the dinning tables due to how dirty it is in there. Most seats are ripped.
By far the worst experience with this location I just went there right now and experienced a waiting time of 11 minutes at the drive thru with a customer at the window and another car in front of me. I was told there would be a 25 minute wait for chicken which I didn't mind as I was only ordering rice and beans along with a loco side salad so I'd figure the people in front of me were going to pull over to the side I mean I know they're no McDonald's but at least have the courtesy to move over and wait your 25 minutes for your chicken. I then called the store while waiting in the drive thru only to be greeted by an unprofessional employee whom stated there was nothing she can do and would not tell the truck in front of us as courtesy to others in the drive thru to pull to the side she refused to assist in making this a pleasant visit shw kept saying they are customers too like really???? You couldn't ask him to move ? I clearly had to get off my car to ask two people behind me to reverse back so I can make my way out their drive thru clearly the other two followed me out as they didn't want to wait that long either! It's sad that employees are trained how to speak professionally nor do they have consideration for other customers I tried calling back to get her name and clearly she left the phone off the hook I have the proof to show it's just a busy signal and 25 calls but phone still busy
I ordered a meal for delivery. The driver never contacted me and left my order on the sidewalk outside the lobby of my 400 unit complex and texted me a picture of it. When I walked to the lobby of my building, it was gone. I called El Pollo Loco manager to complain about the DoorDash driver and place another order that I would pick up and was told that the restaurant had several employees exposed to Covid-19 outbreak and the restaurant had been closed 10 minutes after my original order was placed and the restaurant will be closed for the next 2 weeks for deep cleaning. I'm glad I didn't receive my order!
14429 Roscoe Blvd, Panorama City, CA 91402 This El Pollo Loco has no control of what they are doing from the time they take your order. Was there on March 20th 2021 please my order for moist chicken, flour tortilla and etc... got home and found dry burnt chicken and corn tortilla.... So I decided to go this weekend March 27th 2021 and order the same 12 pc chicken +3 sides, but this time I notified the lady at the register that I received burnt chicken and corn tortilla. Please don’t make this might mistake again. Waited 20 minutes for my order and then they called me and notified me that they have no chicken that they ran out and I will have to wait another 30 minutes before the chicken is ready. Asked how is it possible and I was told it was closing time, but then I asked how is it closing time because it is only 8:30 pm and it’s not 10:30 pm. Then the work grabbed someone else called in order and then told me if I want I’ll give you this chicken. Got home found only 8 PCs of chicken not 12 PCs and got a mix of corn and flour tortilla. Have never seen this at any other El Pollo Loco but this location at 14429 Roscoe Blvd, Panorama City, CA 91402. If El Pollo Loco management is reading this review please help this store. Sorry to say this but I will no longer go to this place again.
Bad customer service starting with the " manager " and i think her name was Veronica, very disrespectful and ending with people taking orders. They suck. They need more training with customer service and learning how to treat and prioritize their customers. No wonder why this place has only 2.3 stars , I'm stupid for not checking before going.
ive been there a couple times and the times i do just my luck that the little manager they have working there works the days i go her name is sara some chick with bright red hair she ALWAYS smells like shes been drinking alcohol, laughing talking over the food. very rude doesnt know how to explain her menu. as i was leaving i saw her come out the back and started kissing another employee thats very unprofessional!! then she went to her car and i saw her drink a modelo chelada (that explained her nasty breath smell) the last time i went i saw new faces hopefully they have new managers with better attitude to work and that are professional and better hygienes.
Drive thru experience: The lady barely heard me I had to repeat myself many times more like scream at the mic so many times and then once home my guac which i came for was brown not green brown tasted soiled and had way too much lemon to mask the flavor. and my burito was salty disgusting location. Had to throw the guac away what a waste of money
Updated.... 5/07/2023....poor customer service in the drive thru... We have been waiting over 20 minutes in the drive thru... Waste of time for very mediocre food :(..... Friendly staff but poorly managed restaurant. No chicken breasts were available for purchase and no shredded beef for the Loco grillers box was available. Dirty dinning room. food is good my family loves buying from pollo loco but a few days ago I bought a quesadilla and I got food poisoning from it. I hope the people that makes the food can be more careful.
More than half of these reviews are fake. Waited 30+ for food ordered on curbside—ended up going through drive thru. Didn’t even get utensils and I didn’t know how to order it if lobby was closed. 0/10 don’t come here
Worst experience. Manager lady had me waiting in drive thru lane almost 10 minutes to take my order. Then was rude at the window. And even gave me her nasty attitude. Other guy there said he is a manager as well he was rude too. Don't come here. Wish i could give them 0 stars
Dirtiest Restaurant I have been to... Had to disinfect my own table. Trash cans were over filled. Trash, and Food debris every where. I have no choice but to eat there, because it's the closest lunch restaurant to me. I have never ever seen a uniformed Restaurant Manager. Dirty place, and no staffers care.
I hate to give a less-than glowing review. This is a review of the particular restaurant near the corner of Van Nuys and Roscoe, not the chain. I like the chain's food. However, I had ordered a meal via the app, and when I got there, there was no way to pick up the order except if we were in a car picking up at the drive-through. We live within walking distance, so we walked to pick up. We had to walk through the drive-through line and complain at the window before they gave us our tepid food. Surly, impolite staff from top to bottom. Avoid this Pollo Loco!!!
I went to this location because it was close by. Always go and there is something missing didn't get my drink today, ordered two tostada salads and 1 had maybe 2 tbl. Of beans and rice at bottom, the other was a double chicken and had none. Was given pico that had one container with 4 pieces of tomatoes the others had a bunch of juice. The workers need more training, they just hand you the food and turn away so you can't ask any questions. Would definitely not recommend this location.
Will NEVER go here again. Overpriced for cheap rice and beans and a tiny bit of chicken. On top of that I found a long hair in my tostada salad. Absolutely disgusting!! Paid $10 for a salad with hair in it. My husband found chicken bones inside the chicken quesadilla, what if a kid was eating this?! The chips were also stale. The drive thru service was poor. I called the restaurant and no answer. Never again!!
1 star - The drive thru forgot the gravy, gave me 11 pieces instead of 12, gave me rice instead of fries. I drove back, went inside - Stephanie (manager) and she didn’t care that i had to drive back to correct the order, took my chicken to the back and then sent it back claiming it had 12 pieces. I counted it on the counter. Another customer complained while I was there and said he was missing a quesadilla which the staff said it was there.. then realized they did not put it inside the bag. NO ACCOUNTABILTY, POOR Management and customer service.
Customer Service was horrible I told the Manager that there were no more Pico De Gallo and she gave me Mild salsa even though that is not what I ask. Next is they are not organized and they don't work as a TEAM. There was also two gentleman that were sleeping in two booths and the staff didn't even tell them that they can't sleep here they were there for more than 30 minutes. I am really disappointed in the staff they should train them more or find some better workers because this is outrageous!!
Please this chicken is the worst for the price ‼️I ordered a double chicken tostada .no chicken it was raw..no salt almost no lettuce..very small ..pay 15.00 dlls. Very disappointed
I was so disappointed coming here. I chose pollo loco as my lunch spot and they took almost my whole break just to get my food. They take long to answer in the speaker, than longer giving out the food. Seems like a bunch of kids are running the store.
Time and time again this Pollo Loco has given me terrible experiences. They either give me the WRONG food, give me burnt chicken, or don’t give me my complete order. The only thing they stay consistent at is the terrible customer service. Today they forgot to include the burrito I had purchased in my online delivery order. So now I’m going to have to place ANOTHER order and pay EXTRA fees for a small cart delivery all because they forgot it. Avoid this Pollo Loco at all cost, even thought it’s just around the corner I’d rather drive 10 minutes to the Pollo Loco on Sepulveda and Victory.
Can I give them no stars! I'm not sure if they are understaffed. The girl handing out the orders dosen't check who she is giving them too. My order was given to someone else. Now I've been waiting 20 min. I'm on my lunch break I got no extra time.
Terrible. I ordered through the el pollo loco app. The delivery guy called and said they don’t have the nachos. I said ok replace with the other nachos. He told the employee and they said ok. I get a call 3 mins later and he said they don’t have them even though they said they did. Then when my food was delivered I was missing a side and was not given the correct salsas I wanted. This location is always terrible and always don’t have anything.
Don't order from here! Usually every time I order something is always missing. And I ordered a Sprite once and there was some black stuff on the bottom of the Sprite so had to throw it away!! They forgot to add the chips instead of tortillas. Usually when I ask for chips they always forget to put them inside.It's honestly not worth the money to be honest they always forget everything. GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION!!!
I love the food, BUT THE SERVICE UNFORTUNATELY IS NOT GOOD, I asked for a dressing for my salad and they said NO, they didn’t have anymore, because they were closing!!! Really!!!! It’s sad how this place is falling down 🫣😔
In a week I visited twice this restaurant and I ordered the same thing. 1st time I ordered a familia dinner and the gave me the chicken incomplete it was missing 2 pieces of chicken And the second time I ordered the same familia dinner but juicy chicken and the gave me the most burned one the had it was money eatable so I threw it away. And this happening 1 week! Really unsatisfy with their service, they should work on that since more now with the situation being they should be giving their best to keep costumers coming in.. not really going back to this location even though is the closest to my house.
Pollo loco please train staff on the burritos, get one of these guys on the corner to come and teach your staff on making them. Always poor execution

Whenever I order online for delivery, my order is either missing the drink or utensil. This is a repeated occurrence.
I ordered a 16 pieces family meal and added extra tortillas and the maximum amount of salsa Fresca and green (20). I got home and found out I only had 6 measly salsa containers and no extra tortillas. I called the restaurant repeatedly and nobody answered the phone.
I'm not going back to this Pollo Loco. We ordered two chipotle avocado burritos and had no avocado and very minimal chicken. I was not acknowledged while waiting at the drive thru, and when finally arrived to the window, I was not acknowledged. Instead employees were giggling among themselves. I understand Young ones need the opportunity to have a job but they are lacking people's skills.
Wish I could give this place 0 stars the employees were rude n mean to my disabled grandma said she couldn’t use the bathroom even tho an employee went in right after . Shame on this place!!

Worst pollo loco location van uys. When u enter the smell is so fucking awfull like some one die.then the service so sloww .my chicke. Was so over cook and dry..tortillas the same cold i will never come back
I've had many bad experiences at El Pollo Loco restaurants but this location by far, has been the worst yet. Order took about 25-30 min to receive. Some customers waited even longer. The customer ahead of me asked for salsa and the young man behind the counter replied with "we don't have any" then turned and walked away. NO SALSA?! What the heck? Then another employee opened a fridge and took out a few cups of pico de gallo and placed them in a bag for a drive thru order. Those if us at the counter were angry. I asked about that and the young man from before said "oh that's not salsa that's pico de gallo do you want some of that?" ..i said yes and asked when the green avocado salsa works be available and a female employee said "10 min they are making it". All the while the store manager was at another register acting as if he doesn't see the disorder in the store, conveniently not making eye contact with anyone. 10 min later I went back up to the counter to ask if the avocado salsa was ready and the same young man said "we don't have any" I told him that someone was making it 10 min ago and he said "umm no we're not gunna have any today, were short staffed". Mind you, I counted 7 kitchen employees and 1 supervisor , who by then had disappeared into the back somewhere, instead of making salsa. I was furious and couldn't believe the lack of customer service. They could of told us there was no salsa before we ordered. And the unprofessionalism and lack of leadership and care from the supervisor was shocking. Oh and the pico de gallo I was given was nothing more that a whole tomato in a lil plastic salsa cup. I will never ever go to the Pollo loco on Roscoe and Van nuys ever again.
Horrible food, they added leftover pieces of chicken with skin to my tostada. Like 10 beans lettuce and avocado, that was all. I had similar experiences before and stopped coming for a year but this is it. I will never come back. I almost throw up when I saw the pieces of chicken. Do not waste your $ at this place.

No chicken cooked at 6:30 pm do too manager Mercy not predicting how much chicken needs to be cooked. That’s what the drive thru employee said when I asked why they didn’t have any chicken cooked. 30 min wait they told me. No people inside the restaurant and 2 cars at the drive thru. Obviously Manager doesn’t care to check the line / not capable of doing her Job as a Manager at a fast food restaurant.
Number 1, I don't like putting my order in by machine. At least at McDonald's you have a choice. Number 2, I asked for Juicy breast and thighs. I got over cooked chicken. There is no way on the self order machine to ask for juicy breast or thigh. One wing was black on the side you couldn't see. Number 3, no pico de galllo(?). How do you run out by 8pm but don't close until 10pm. I hate you all putting that watery avocado sauce in my bag. It goes straight in the trash when I get home.
They keep changing staff all the times and the new ones don't care zero customer service, no smiles ,forgetting half the order by the time you go home they forget either the salsa or something has to be missing. Sadly
I just asked how long it would take for the bread to come out and a really rude lady answered. Honestly, they lack customer service, education, and ethics
My chicken tasted so burnt I couldn't enjoy it. They forgot my two bags of chips and had to go back and the chips were so stale and covered in old oil. They need to get an old head than knows how to cook the chicken I tasted burnt chicken on every bite. Never going back to this location. I don't usually shit on a restaurant this bad but damn the manager has to get it together and train their employees correctly or at least some damn quality control. Spent $40 on burnt chicken.
The crazy chicken is my favorite place to eat chicken, but here they do not attend to me. just because I speak Spanish and they ask me that if I have rewars I do not know what happens to these girls alive 2 minutes is that I get closer just to speak Spanish they hang my calls or if I pass through the drive thru they hang me .
Today 1/11/26, This place is disgusting. No clean tables, filthy floors, and the self-service machine didn’t even work. The staff (afternoon crew) was rude, lazy, and completely unhelpful. Instead of helping customers, they act like they want to get rid of you. Don’t waste your money or your time here. Absolutely awful experience.
I didnt want to make a review but my experience was just awful here. The service was fine but when we ordered creamy cilantro they just gave us ranch with cilantro in it. The chicken was overly salted and by the end of the night i was sick and this was all id eaten today, (i ordered 2 bowls) for 2 meals today. Im just glad it didnt come out of my nose tbh. Sherman way is a much better location.
They skim heavily on the meat (giving very little), and horrible customer service. Knowing many elder people are coming in, and they decide to not have a single person there to help them, they ignore them if they need help. The food was low quality, if im paying 60 dollars im expecting to have at least a good quantity of meat and a decent service like, I know you guys can get busy but try to not have such an attitude when a customer needs help.
I ordered double chicken bowl and i got half a scoop of chicken and it was so expensive. Than when i asked for the refund some little fruity mexican started accusing me of eating it. Dont ever come here i always have problems here. The manager was nice though.
Went on the drive trhu place an order for 8 pieces combo legs n thighs got on my application $10.00 OFF when you spent $30.00 everything was ok when I got home ready to eat was missing 2 pieces only got 6, bad communication with the attendant on the windows please pay more attention an check the pieces on the order.
They Straight rob you here. 1 they constantly forget to add your complete order to the take out bag and once you're home you realize things are missing. But if you don't go back that same instant they won't help you tomorrow on refunding. Do not come here
This employees everytime l go they always missing something always. But that's is not the point went l telling them l go report you guys they laugh 😂 means they don't care l pay for extra tortillas and just what..?yes they missing my tortillas. Owner l 🤔 you need to change ones of you employees thank you
I visited this restaurant hoping for a good meal, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service was unfriendly, and I had difficulty getting help to place my order. The overall atmosphere was lacking; the place was dirty and unkempt. The floors were sticky, tables were dirty, and there were ripped chairs throughout the dining area. Trash littered the floor, which is unacceptable in any dining establishment, especially one that handles food. Given the state of the dining area, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. I highly do not recommend this place. It's a shame, as a clean environment is essential for a good dining experience.
Thank God I didn’t bite into my food cause this rock hard end of a tomato would’ve knocked my tooth out. This place was super unprofessional they had homeless people coming in slinging their hands blankets around , digging in their trash cans all while customers are sitting around eating while the workers give you dirty looks or just not acknowledge you at all when ordering this place is disgusting rude and unacceptable if I could give zero stars I would.
This is the worst pollo loco so far. No public restroom, no hand sanitizers, pretty dirty inside, the service is slow. I have been waiting for my stuffer quesadilla for like 15 mins And I was observing their work - my food was idling on the shelf while being prepared already for like 10 mins. So unorganized. No surprise my food was barely warm. The food itself is super salty and spicy. I cant stand spicy food but for some reason they dont mention that assuming only certain group of people visiting this restaurant. Not worth the time and money 👎
This shouldn't even be part of El pollo loco franchise, It's extremely filthy. Tried ordering Tostada bowl. They refused to make me one do to the tostada bowls being for online orders only. Soda Machine is outdated or just been neglected. Floors haven't been sweepted all week perhaps. Way to disgusting. Are there No Managers?
The picture says it all. It took 20 min to get our order. They said that they don't have any chicken (in a place that only sells chicken). Then the Loco Salad arrived with rotten lettuce and didn't have any cheese in it. Also, they have one of the worst apps. The deals & promotions disappear from the app once they scan it; so if the transaction "failed" and they need to scan it again, it disappears completely and you can't get that deal anymore, nor can you use the app again (because you can only use the app once per day) unlike McDonald's that allow their customers to use the deals on the app every half an hour. Lastly, the restaurant was so dirty. Dirty floors and dirty tables.
