Opinions de Curry in Hurry Los Angeles
Simple family owned restaurant. The food was very fresh and reasonably priced. They genuinely try to make you feel at home. We were traveling for a week and were ready to have some great homely food. We tried yellow lentils, cauliflower, Chana masala, kadhi, and veg korma - we finished everything. The carrot pudding (halwa) was to die for.
We catered food from Curry in Hurry for our Diwali party, and it was just perfect! The samosas, aloo chaat, and biryani were fresh, flavorful, and full of that authentic Delhi taste we’ve missed so much. It’s a lovely family-run business — super friendly, responsive, and reliable. Everything was packed beautifully and delivered right on time. Our guests loved the food and kept asking where it was from! Great prices, generous portions, and amazing quality — Curry in Hurry is now our go-to for Indian food in LA!
My first time here. Auntie was so sweet!! The chicken tikka masala is so incredible. The chicken is tender, delicious, and the curry was sensational. The garlic naan is huge, flavorful, and covered in garlic. I also tried the Mango Chicken and it will 100% be the dish I buy next time.
If you haven’t been here yet. You’re missing out. It’s officially in our monthly rotation. Delicious and packed with flavor. Lovely family who runs it. Get the garlic naan and try out a little bit of everything. The best part? Not over priced which is great because our hobby is going out to eat and take out!
I stopped in on my way back to the west side and couldn't have made a better decision! I was greeted with a smile, offered samples, and ultimately got the 2 item combo which was only $13.99! I upgraded to garlic naan for only $.75 more, added a bottled water, and my total was only $17! You can't beat that with a stick! The portions were large, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service far surpassed my expectations completely. I decided to eat in the restaurant before making the dreaded trek back to the west side and was treated with absolute kindness. After this, I can't imagine patroning these other restaurants that would charge triple while slicing the quality and service in half.
I really liked the Indian food here. The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. I will come again. Thank you!”
Simmy very nice Lady always curtsy and polite to my daughter and .I love the food all items are good the chelf is a good cook that is why we keep coming back every one have a bless day
Small family run restaurant with true north indian taste. We catered food from them for our Diwali event and everyone loved it. Affordable and delicious!
Food was amazing the staff is awesome the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan with spicy rice and cauliflower was out of this world come here if you want great food at good prices in LA
Delicious, good price, and they offered me a tester to decide between a few dishes for the combo. Absolutely will return!
Man this spot is great. Huge portion sizes, great prices, but most importantly the food is excellent. The tikka masala sauce is a perfect balance of tomato and cream. I’d never tried chicken korma but now I’m hooked. The spiciness contrasts well with the tikka masala, and I found myself mixing the two. And of course the naan was hot, chewy and a perfect side; definitely opt for the garlic naan. The employees are really friendly too. We were offered samples and one of the chefs came out and asked how we liked the food. I’ve only visited once but I’m already planning on visiting again asap!
The food was great, love the Indian food and spices, also the hospitality was wonderful. Thank you so much. Regards, Shweta
Food was bomb as hell and the service from the cute little lady is top tier, she’s so sweet! Would recommend and come again!
Good food and good pricing for an express Indian food takeout place. There were plenty of vegetarian curry options to choose from if you pick the combo which comes with rice and naan bread. The spice level is on the milder side for the vegetarian curries which is well suited for an American palette. They also have an option to taste test the curries which is great. Would visit again if we want curry in a hurry!
Small cozy place. Very good food and very generous portions. Ordered a two item combo Chicken Tikka Massala and Coconut chicken with garlic naan ($15). Great flavor and you can see they put love on what they do. The lady serving, who I believe is the owner, very politely asking customers how the food was. Sure will come back to try the other item Options they have which are many.
One of my top favorite go-to spots in LA. Very authentic flavors and super friendly staff. A must try!

Such amazing food. The sauce was tasty, perfectly spicy - not too hot. The goat meat was fall off the bone and the garlic naan was amazing. The aunty was super nice with me - she let me try some flavours before I ordered.

In short: great food at a reasonable price, in humble surroundings. And all-important combo platters allow a solo diner to easily enjoy the full variety of flavors. I'm half an hour out from the restaurant, but still make a special trek now and again because it's the best Indian place I can name in LA, even before you bring price into the equation.
I love Curry In Hurry! Up to now, I've only tried their Palak Paneer and Tandoori Chicken because I can't get enough of it. The Tandoori Chicken flavorful and never overcooked or dry. They make it to order, so it tastes fresh out of the oven. The Palak Paneer is also very good and goes very well with Tandoori Chicken. The service here is wonderful. Everyone is friendly, and they make you feel appreciated for coming to their restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant and wish them all the success!
I slept on this place for a year after moving into the neighborhood, and wish I had tried it sooner! It’s delicious (the chicken tikka masala and veggie samosas are my favorite) and the family who runs it is great and super welcoming. Highly highly highly recommend it for fantastic Indian food!!
Super affordable they have something for everyone. The family that runs this restaurant is very kind and great customer service. They also allow you to try the food. Fresh nann made to order. This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants.

this place is: AWESOME. ate there last night. pretty close to closing time, new year's eve. the food was EXCEPTIONAL. the service was FIRST RATE. i could see people going to beverly hills and spending 5x the money and NOT walking away as satisfied. really, really, really good food. i could see this place having a line out the door, one day...
Absolutely delicious and staff is really nice. Had the two item plate. $16.14 for 2 item, curry is fantastic as well as their garlic naan. It also came out very quickly. Would and will definitely come back!
