Thank you Doan’s for providing our wedding cake on 10/15/22. It was SO BEAUTIFUL and tasty. Doan’s was my choice because they were willing to work with our budget, but mostly because : THEY ARE SO NICE! One phone call with Marina, and I knew I liked her. I knew I could trust her to do great work. She was supportive, kind, and was on my side. They provided the cake, delivered, and placed the topper and flowers on our cake. It was a two tier red velvet cake. Oh! Did I mention it was delicious? Our guest raved about it! Thank you Doan’s and Marina! Ordered a While chocolate coconut bundt cake via goldbelly. Wow overnight shipping was great and arrived on time via ups. I let it sit out for 90 minutes and then tried it. It is absolutely delicious. Very moist and a very rich frosting. Definitely worth the hype. To the people saying it's too sweet, ofcourse it is because it's a white chocolate coconut bundt cake! The Famous Tom Cruise’s White chocolate coconut Bundt cake . Loved it!! Not too sweet & I enjoyed the cream cheese frosting with the coconut flakes. A few of my guests thought the cake was a bit dry , but I didn’t mind it . It didn’t take away the deliciousness of the cake.

My daughter-in-law bought me the coconut cake for my birthday showed up delivered on my birthday. It is off the charts good.

I’m in town for a couple of weeks and wanted to treat my nephew to something sweet. A quick search for the best miniature chocolate cake led me to Doan’s Bakery. While browsing their site, I noticed they offer the famous coconut white chocolate Bundt cake—also known as the “Tom Cruise cake.” I had asked my mom to make one a few months ago and absolutely loved it, so I couldn’t resist trying Doan’s version. I picked up a small Bundt cake along with a chocolate croissant. Everything was delicious! The chocolate cake was a touch on the dry side, but overall, this is a very good bakery with some standout treats.

Ordered two cakes from this bakery for a get together via Goldbelly. The coconut cakes were delicious and came packaged so that there was no damage. The price was a bit costly at $100 plus each but for a rare order totally fine.

Great place, great treats. Hours are tight, 9-2. The staff are friendly and helpful. I got some sweets and took them home, they were a big hit. We will be going back soon. I paid cash but it looks like they take everything. If you are not close by they have a delivery company that will get it to you.

I ordered 2 large White Chocolate Coconut Bundt cakes from Doan's bakery last December to share with my friends at home, at my Church and at work. They are cakes made famous as the cakes gifted by Tom Cruise to his friends. I found the cakes to be extremely tasty and well worth the hype. I am strongly considering getting them again for my same friends. I highly recommend this bakery. I have not tried anything else from this bakery but if their other desserts are as good as these cakes, they are to die for!

Fabulous Coconut blunt cake ! Had it shipped to Surrey BC Canada 🇨🇦 was placed in a foil pouch , dry ice and was handled with care 👍less than 24hrs and still frozen when it arrived . Unbelievable fresh tasting well worth it !

Loved the white chocolate all around the cake. We also got recommended the strawberry shortcake. It wasn't dry at all as well. I'm not sure where the other reviewers are getting that their cakes here are dry but it was not our experience.

The White Chocolate Bundt Cake is phenomenal. There’s no price list anywhere in the bakery so figure out by asking the staff (the person who spoke to me was curt). But the food is great. Not a lot of place to sit. Recommend for take out only.

While this place is a little hard to get a hold of due to them being sooooo popular, it is worth it. They made an amazing cake for my husbands 30th birthday at a great price. The staff was very accommodating and easy to work with. I will definitely be coming back for all my custom cakes.

Going for manicure around 3 miles away and taking advantage to make a stop at Doans Bakery, which apparently was said offering Tom Cruise's 'annual Christmas gift'. The cute bakery literally reminded me of typical long-standing one, with simple design that probably has stayed for years. Only 2 sets of tables available with most people only came for 'TO-GO's. I came just right past noon and had quite limited options but still saw some of their signature Tom Cruise cake available. It was moist sponge cake topped with super generous cream cheese frosting with chunks of white chocolate and shredded coconut. Priced at $9, I would say it's pretty big and rich that some people might consider sharing for 2. I'm a sweet tooth and for me I finished one myself but surely felt pretty sugar-high after. Despite some people complaining it being dry, the mini version I got didn't seem to be the case at all. I thought it worth the hype; the sponge cake could be just okay, but the cream cheese with abundant white chocolate was surely the creme de la creme. I wished I was on Tom Cruise's annual Christmas gift list!

I got this cake shipped for my bday. I got the white chocolate coconut bundt cake. I can't lie. I wanted to see if Tom Cruise had any taste in cakes. And I must say I was very happy with the purchase. If u like coconut cake, this is definitely up your alley. It could have been a little bit more moist but I must admit i might not have let it defrost long enough. I was so eager to try it. Maybe the next piece with different But even with that the cake has good flavor. I didn't really taste the white chocolate which is fine because I am not a fan of the flavor. So just tasting the coconut more fitted me fine. It is a nice pairing with ginger lemon tea imo. Overall I'm happy with the purchase

First time customer, ordered iced coffee and muffin. The coffee tasted awful, and the muffin…at first I was a bit annoyed at the price for how small it was…but it was DELICIOUS. I got the pumpkin pineapple raisin and it might be the best muffin I’ve ever had.

First time customer, ordered iced coffee and muffin. The coffee tasted awful, and the muffin…at first I was a bit annoyed at the price for how small it was…but it was DELICIOUS. I got the pumpkin pineapple raisin and it might be the best muffin I’ve ever had.

Our experience at Doan's bakery was very disappointing mainly due to terrible customer service. We called in ahead of time to see if the cake required refrigeration as we were going to be driving for several hours and the girl snapped saying "couldn't you come into the bakery and ask that question?"! I assumed they were terribly busy and were caught in the chaos. When we reached the bakery it was empty, no smiles or greetings at the door. There were Gold Belly boxes lined up all across the wall. We ordered the coconut cake and cappuccinos. The cake was delicious, better slightly warmed or even at room temperature; not directly out of the refrigerator. The coffee was nasty...tasted like drip coffee with milk...couldn't even call it a latte. When we asked for them to remake it the girl said this is the best we can do. No apologies, nothing. The three girls were eating behind the counter at the serving area and staring down at us while customers were ordering. One of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I would rate it no stars if that was an option.

I ordered the cake to be delivered through Goldbelly. It did arrive in time and was still cool inside. The cake itself is not really that great. I had to Google if it was supposed to have a weird layer near the top and I think that is the "mixed in" white chocolate chips...they basically just congealed in a thin layer near what would have been the bottom of the pan. The cake itself was a little dry. The frosting did not really compliment it at all. It's too sweet and you don't taste any cake at all if you eat the frosting. Overall, I will stick with coconut cake that I have a recipe for and skip this one.

They missed the 9/5 delivery which sucked for our party. We received it 9/6, packages nicely, semi melted but the BIG disappointment was the cake was so dry & did not have much flavor. I was very hyped about trying this cake and for the price it was such a let down. But willing to visit the bakery next time in California around the area.

This bakery was highly recommended by a co-worker and I decided to give them a try so on 3/08/22 My sister & I purchased 2 cakes that looked very beautiful and delicious But to our surprise they were dry and hard cakes... We will not purchase from this bakery again .

Please don’t say to each their own because this is like not good enough to serve to anyone you like let alone $129 lol, $129! What a crock! I have had cakes from bakeries everywhere and this is no better than a Merritt's cake in Tulsa once they went to a central bakery, yes in 1984 they were good, not so much in 2024. Tom Cruises assistant ordering this is the myth, no way that man eats this cake. Taste your damn cake after its been shipped and tell me Im wrong!

My son bought the white chocolate coconut bundt cake for my birthday in September of 2023 and again in 2024 and they were delicious. My husband wanted to surprise me with the cake for Valentine's Day this year. The cake was a huge disappointment. It was vert dry, not moist at all. I always share the cake with friends and family. This time I couldn't give it away. Everyone had the same opinion. If the cakes you send out to the people on Tom Cruise's gift list are ever this quality I don't think he will be pleased. I hope I never get another cake from Doans.

I stopped in Doans on the way to Palm Springs to grab a white chocolate raspberry bundt and some other goodies for a dinner party. Unfortunately we found a hair in the Bundt cake and needless to say that sort of ruined the vibe. 👎
