Amazing! Everything was so flavorful, our server was very nice and friendly. The establishment is clean and neat. The horchata was my favorite, the mole was sweet and not spicy at all very good. Definitely recommend.
Authentic Oaxacan meal, the black bean are delicious on the carne asada Tlayuda. If you have been to Oaxaca you will recognize the taste. The chicken mole is also appetizing. Very happy with our meal.
Have wanted to try Saxon for a couple months and finally had a chance to stop in for lunch. The restruant and bakery are right next to each other, it is very clean and spacious. The staff is welcoming, chips and salsa are delicious and the food is delicious! I ordered the pork wet burrito with red sauce, the red sauce is their mole, I am not a big mole fan but this is amazing. The portions are huge, so if you plan on hitting up the bakery make sure to save room.
Just had an incredible experience eating here!! We have both been to Mexico before (specifically Oaxaca) and this food transported us back immediately. We got the mojarra frita and the alambre de res- both dishes were frighteningly good!! The fish was seasoned and fried to perfection. The beans are 😍😍😍. The alambre was topped with the most delicious cheese. Everything here was 10/10, I wish I could give more stars!
Sooo good. This place realy has "El Sazon Oaxaqueño" (Oaxaca Seasoning). We come here with my wife to get breakfast. When we looking in the menu she asking for a traditional Oaxaca Breakfast "Huevos Estrellados whith beans and rice" and I ask for a "Torta de Cecina". Men was delicious. I highly recommend this place.
1st time here and delicious plates, I ordered 3 dishes in my efforts to try everything in the menu..I didnt post the "Tamal en Mole" I ate it before I realized i should've take a pic..lol..will be coming here again
This place was delicious. Huge portions and reasonable prices. Service was fantastic. The bakery next door is connected and the chocolate muffin I bought was incredibly moist. I highly recommend. Bring your appetite.
If you are looking for great authentic Oaxaca Mexican food, this place in the Mar Vista is where you should go. Great food and prices.
DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC FOOD!! The server was very nice and attentive even though he was the only one serving all the tables. The food is authentic Mexican food with large portions and at a good price. Will definitely be coming back again!! ❤️❤️
Nice and clean little Mexican restaurant asked for the especial del día “Chile relleno” plate. Very tasty good presentation. The special comes with rice and beans. Good attitude from the waitress.

Good food and nice staff... be careful if you don't like mole... I'm not a fan and they used on my wet burrito.
This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in all of Los Angeles. You don’t need familiarity with the Oaxaca cuisine, but it doesn’t hurt. I’ve been here numerous times and I always walk away to completely satisfied.
Excellent food, their guacamole was superb. The guacamole was so good I got some to go, and she added tortilla chips which was thoughtful. The tortilla chips were also delicious, and tasted freshly made right there. The service was timely and friendly. We'll definitely go back.

I've been coming here for years, it's always consistent & delicious!! I love the chicken enchilada with mole neuropathy! And the bakery next door for flan..
The food and atmosphere were very good, and I really enjoyed the warm, family-style mom and pop vibe this place has. The only suggestion I’d make is to be a little more flexible with requests. I asked for chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and chorizo, but they said they could only do chilaquiles with chorizo because eggs are only served during breakfast hours. The funny thing is that chilaquiles are traditionally a breakfast dish too, so it felt a bit contradictory to hold so tightly to those breakfast/lunch/dinner distinctions. Overall, though, the food was tasty just a small note on service and flexibility that could make the experience even better.
The chips are off the hook. I have a minimum of 2 refills because they are hot, crispy and greasy. The ribs in salsa verde will make you so happy to not be vegan. The mole is pretty good too, a lil sweet for me. This place does it right.
Good spot, nice little hole in the wall, Mexican food estillo(style) oaxaca. Quick service, customer service is +A. Food taste great :) clean restaurant.

Got a cup of champurrado, while getting some fresh delicious bread from the connected panadería: Pan Dulce. They have really tasty pan and their orejas are super buttery and crispy! Bring cash!

Bakery wasn't too great. They need more variety, coffee wants of the surrounding population, Mexican hot chocolate and a few Mexican finger foods to OVER RUN the place out. I gather that even though they share the same place the restaurant and the bakery are two separate business. The restaurant is good food but something is missing. The bakery is just missing period when they have a good business potential. Good location. So-so parking. Food is good in restaurant side.

I went here with my wife. We where having dinner with her cousins and auntie. We all ordred our food. When the waitres finidhed bringing thre food she approached me and stated that they have no tortiilas for tge wet burrito. She asked if I wanted anything easy? I stated" NO " . This was bad customer service. She took our order and asked wet or dry burrito. She waited to tell me the have no torrtilas for burritos when she was serving my wife and family members. She should have told me that when I first ordered orvat least when all the food was being made. There was no excsuse for bad customer sevice. She took it off the bill. I paid but no tip was left.

Placed an order for 5 people, in every order they forgot to give tortillas. Completely unacceptable. Had to drive 40 there and back, and I was told to pick them up. 👎
