Opinions de Eyes Peeled Los Angeles
I overheard a woman from Brooklyn say that whenever she's in Los Angeles for work she comes to Eyes Peeled for their Matcha. And after having it, I can see why. I feel like everyone has their favorite drink here. My colleague told me yesterday that the Georgia On My Mind is his favorite and it instantly took me back to the first time I had it. The fragrance of the orange. All that to say, they're creating sensory experiences at Eyes Peeled. I had the rice bowl (see photo) and immediately made plans to try to replicate it at home. It didn't hit the same. Baristas are courteous, kind and thoughtful. My one grievance is that their ventilation system isn't the best so after being here a while my hair and clothes smell a bit like the coffee and food that was being cooked. I'll keep coming to Eyes Peeled as long as I'm in the neighborhood. It's a treasure.
Small cafe with specialty drinks. I ordered banana matcha latte, yummy and good size drink for the price. The matcha was a little grainy, you can see in the picture, but it was not noticeable taste wise. Big windows creates natural lighting, there are ample outlets, but not many seats when busy. Music was a good volume. Would visit again.
Cute little place with small neighborhood vibe. Loved the coffee and ambiance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Cortado was delicious, loved the cute little cup it was served in.
OMG! Just wanted to check this place out if it's wroth the hype. Man, that sandwich and those mini waffles are not only mouth-watering but out of this world. You'll loose yourself when you sip from that baklava latte. I would definitely recommend this place and give 10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if possible. Staff is very friendly and they're rockstars!!
eyes peeled is a great spot for coworking and catching up with a friend. the atmosphere is bubbly and energetic due to the chatter and happy demeanor from the baristas. they offer a creative drink menu as well as some quick bites with vegan friendly options. although their matcha is tasty and enjoyable, they excel most on their espresso drinks. worth a visit for a tasty, crushable bev!
Food and drinks were delicious! We tried the island sandwich, ube and pandan waffle, a cortado, Georgia on my mind, and pandan cake matcha. Everyone was super nice and warm as well. I’ll be coming back!
ordered the pandan matcha latte and fancy avocado toast and both were amazing. matcha was well made and had great flavor the macadamia nuts on top added a nice crunch! the avocado toast was equally great with a soy marinated egg and pickled radish all the ingredients were great quality. on the pricier side at $9 for the drink and $15 for the toast but worth it once in a while as a nice treat!
I still dream about this coffee. 10/10. After visiting a bunch of other coffee shops around LA for our visit, on our second to last day we discovered this spot. Absolutely fantastic baklava latte! We had to come right back the next day and didn't change a thing about our order.
My second visit to Eyes Peeled, and still scored as good as I could recall. Bold aromatic iced coffee with spoiling touch from the Pandan syrup. I came from tropical country where it pandan was a very common flavor to feature in sweet beverages and desserts, and so delighted to find it here! If you have no idea what it is, RUN DON'T WALK, give it a try! Their Georgia on My Mind was my other recommended one, which was their version of Vanilla Latte with touch of orange zest, adding more fun into the drink. I typically wasn't into citrusy flavor in my coffee but this successfully made an exception. Great news, they now opened slightly longer, while they used to close kinda early at 2pm. The barista, who's also the owner, was extremely friendly, totally nailed that warm welcoming neighborhood cafe hospitality.
Coffee is VERY good. Iced Banana Latte 10/10 Baklava Lattes 9/10 Good Customer Service.

First the matcha, banana flavor is lacking but that does not take away from the absolute deliciousness this matcha has to offer! this matcha tastes high quality and perfect ratio of matcha-ice-cold foam! staff was lovely and quick and menu was creative and diverse! now for the cappuccino, not to much milk, which is an underrated value, good construction and solid coffee. as for the miso cookie and lack of flavor honey as a condiment that would be the only deduction! We are coming back for PanDan matcha and would 100% recommend this to anyone in the area.
They are a multi-roaster-cafe and carried at least two different local California roasters, Dune Coffee Roasters and Be Bright Coffee Roasters. Since it was my first time visiting, I decided to go with a drink from their specialty menu. Since they were out of their espresso-esque called the Rising Flower Tonic ($7, comes with espresso, orange juice, osmanthus flower simple syrup, & tonic water) I went with a different orange-infused option. Georgia On My Mind ($7) is made individually with espresso, oat milk, vanilla syrup, orange zest, then shaken in a cocktail shaker, and topped with a dehydrated orange slice. On the subject of the Georgia On My Mind drink having orange zest when named after the song: “Weird, it should’ve been peach. Georgia is the peach state.” - Joshua Georgia On My Mind was initially a punch of very sweet, so much so that next time I thought I might ask for less syrup, but it very quickly grew on me and I loved it. The orange zest was the perfect amount of orange to be noticeable without overpowering, and I appreciate that they default to oat milk for this one because it was the perfect creaminess. I cannot wait to go back and try another signature drink!! Even though it’s called Eyes Peeled, I did not spiiill. We were easily able to find parking at a meter out front, and although there was a bit of a line when we arrived, but luckily it moved pretty quickly and the barista and cashier were very efficient with making drinks. They had the menu posted on the wall outside the door so you could start thinking of your order while waiting in line, and they had a larger menu once you get to the register.
Love love their banana syrup lattes and matchas. Skeptical ay first but I love how it is sweet but does not linger like pure sugar. Furikake avo toast was yum too.
One of my favorite coffee shops in LA. I’m OBSESSED with their banana latte and their Georgia on my mind (orange latte). I also have been ordering their rice bowl which is so flavorful and feels healthy too! Owners are super nice and service and vibes are always so great. Will be back over and over again!!
Stopped in on a Saturday morning. Not too busy, we were able to walk in and order. I got an iced matcha with no sweetener. The flavor was delicious! The matcha tasted authentic and fresh. It had such great flavor, I really enjoyed it! My significant other ordered an iced coffee drink and he really liked it! We will definitely be back. The seating there seems more like a quick sit down and go. Although, I did see some people with computers. There were also some outdoor seating, but those were all full upon my stay there. I can definitely see this as a quick drink to-go place for me. The staff was kind & most especially the cashier.
The barista/cashier Gavy is so welcoming and attentive. While making coffee he’s greeting, talking to customers, accepting orders at the same time. Perfect multitasking. The food here is FIRE. Try their Island sandwich. Baklava latte is amazing too. Definitely recommend this place, very good vibes here. I will come here again, now it’s one of my favorites. Happy to find it!

Passed by this place on my way home from work and decided to give it a try. Depending on how early I am off of work, I will stop in and grab one of their delicious specialty latte drinks. They also have a tasty breakfast sandwich. Service is always fantastic and the employees are always friendly.
I recently visited Eyes Peeled Coffee Shop and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The kind of place where you can relax, get work done, or catch up with someone over a great cup of coffee. The coffee was fresh, smooth, and clearly made with care. You can tell they pay attention to quality. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a great visit and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid coffee spot!

Pandan Matcha was good but on the sweeter side. Would try their iced matcha latte without any cream top to see if it’s strong and sweet. Friend rated the coffee to be yummy as well. We went to study for a bit and were able to get a table. Other than that it’s nice and local.
Very loud and packed. Banana matcha was overly sweet, but their regular matcha was delicious. I would find it hard to come here and work due to a lack of seating, but that's just because it's really popular
Cute matcha shop to grab and go. Friendly staff, adorable dogs jumping around shop. Pet-friendly, leashes only. Possibly, pup cups? The dogs sure thought so. Matcha was slightly watery, thinner than typical. Coffee was good, I am told. This is my partner’s go-to place for coffee in the morning, on his way to work. Not my favorite matcha, but atmosphere was on point and so was service. FYI there is a bathroom for customers. Some seating, people were working with laptops. Parking wise, we parked along the street, a 1-2 minute walk.
Not aiming to trash on this place too much since they were very nice, but the coffee options in LA are stellar and the level I’m accustomed to is pretty high for a coffee lover in this city, so it’s hard to surprise me. The offerings were unimpressive and the taste was so so, we had the baklava latte and the rising flower tonic and they were just ok, the atmosphere is also lacking, it feels like who ever owns/operates this place doesn’t have a lot of past experience running a coffee shop in LA, it’s noticeable. I wish them good luck in refining their skills of drink creation and vibe setting but I won’t be coming back.
