Opinions de Full Moon House Los Angeles
Such great food and kind service. Very clean, easy parking, generous servings. We ordered the fried tofu with spicy salt, vegetable chow mein, braised tofu, pea sprouts, and Yu Xiang eggplant. The pea sprouts were so fresh, not easy to find in restaurants, but my favorite spring vegetable, I was really happy. The eggplant was velvety without feeling oily, all of the dishes felt clean and flavorful. I'm vegetarian and had so many options, will definitely be back, after I finish my leftovers! Huge portions for the price. Open late, great for after a concert or show in DTLA, too! Ample meter parking and paid lots on the same block.
We were hanging out Thursday night to play some mahjong nearby by but we got hungry and oh boy, the pecking duck was delicious 😋. Definitely recommend this place for a nice home warming chinese meal
The very good about this restaurant is that is working tiol very late! Especialy if you hanging around and have a couple of beers is nice to have a place like this wherevyou can seat and eat late. All food comes with complimentary tea! We started with apetaizer - we eat vegeterian rolls, they are very good! We had main dish chow mein noodles - mine was with pork and my girlfriend ordered with chicken! I live it! Very big portions for sure you can save for nex day for the lunch! Only one thing which they should work on it is services, we had a lady server with glasess and we felt l unvelcomed! I am not taking that personally but you can feel that in air! She took order, left the food no words and if you tried to aks for some details you feel anger, like yoo are bothering her - when she drop the food at the table, she just tilurn without words! Little bit anoying! We leav 20% tip, and I am leaving here 5dtars review! So I dont have any bad intentions! Maybe just to work on it! Other two guys who worked with her, they were very polite and they have normal behive! I am someone who doesen’t need attention but just at least to feel welcomed!
Just had a great business meeting as everyone knows that I love Asian food. So when I went on Google this was the first place that I found and set up my appointment just like that. Surprised that there was no long lines at all because usually that tends to happen. The beef stew plate and chicken fried rice was real solid to me. For food lovers this is definitely the spot to come through to it.
Loved the chinese cuisines. The service was quick and the food was tasty. They also serve complimentary hot tea which you can sip while you wait for the main course to arrive. They also serve vegetarian options.
Great food, large portions, and wonderful service! The Full Moon House was pretty mellow during our late evening visit. The place was clean, relaxed, and welcoming. We left full and carrying leftovers for the following day! Service was very fast.
Great Chinese food. Love the fried fish fillet and egg drop soup. Many options for main course, noodles and fried rice dishes. Hot pot is also available.

Randomly picked this place for DimSum and turnout to be quite good. 1st group in so 1st sitting and got all the attention from servers. Order the Dimsum 1st then the soup & congee later and the wet foods came out 1st. Quite tasty and very filling. DimSum dishes were great too, not oily at all and tasty too. The place is at the end of the town so not a lot of foots traffic, and parking can be tricky since weekend will be hard to find. They have 2 restaurants with the same name right across from each other. One with seafoods and one with poultry and DimSum. The interior is old and just cluttered but clean.
I came with my friends and we tried the chili oil wanton for the appetizer, then the wanton soup and french beef cube for the main dish with some rice. Everything was perfect. The server came so fast. The food served so fast. The space was a little narrow but that was ok. This restaurant will be the one that I will come back again.
Great food and unexpectedly large servings. Normally my husband and I will split 2 entrees...and that was so much food! We did eat it all. ;) The lemon chicken had a delicate flavor and the seafood chow fun was abundant with seafood and delicious.
I was searching for lunch after a long day at court and this had good ratings so decided to go here. The waiter was so helpful in finding parking he came out of the restaurant to tell me where to park. They have an arrangement with the building just past them and will validate which was a pleasant surprise. I also enjoyed the hot jasmine tea. I ordered the chicken and vegetables which was HUGE! I had been a little upset at the price hike because yelp was 3 dollars less, but when I saw the portions I understood. I was the only one there, but soon a group of Asian business men arrived and I knew I had a good spot if other Asians liked their food. What I liked about their vegetable mix is that it bol choy and a wider variety than other places. Plus, it was very tasty. I took half home to eat later, but then took compassion on a homeless guy begging and gave it to him. I hope he liked chicken and veggies too!:)
Food was Delicious! They did forget one of the items we ordered but still a great place for delicious Chinese food, basically the server came and took our order and never came back again to check if we needed anything or need any more drinks which in my experience in all Asian places lack good customer service is to be expected.
Late night cravings? What better place to go but Chinatown. A pot of hot tea and their menu were immediately brought to our table as we sat. Ordered their shrimp chow mein and shiu mai. An order of vegetable egg rolls (4 pieces) was also added compliments of the house. Service was ok. Validated parking is available during the day. Good luck with street parking at night.
Parking is a little tough. This restaurant stays open later than most. Visited on a Friday night around 9pm it was really busy with only 1 server. The food was good, I felt it was priced a little high food portions are decent. I'm not sure I would go again. Not bad, but nothing really great.
It was our first time here, we ordered eggplant and beef, A vegetable (Chinese A-vegetable), chicken porridge, vegetable soup, and scallion mushroom. The bill came out to be $87 including tips is $101. The food was good and staff was attentive. They have gender neutral restrooms. They can validate parking if you park in the garage next to them, we got 2 hour free validation and the garage parking is flat rate $5.

I expected the atmosphere to be better the food was average
The food is ok, it was pretty empty when i was there. I’ve lived in China and tried to be nice and speak Chinese with the waiter which didn’t respond so friendly to that but it’s ok. I chose the place because I like Chinese people and food, so I wish I would have had a little bit more of interaction but i understand it’s not part of their job.

We decided on this place in Chinatown for Chinese New year. We got there at 7pm and it was around a 30 minute wait before we got seated which wasn't bad considering it was Chinese New year. They have some seats outside while you wait. We decided to order the orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and shrimp chow fun. For the noodles, there's the option of choosing lo mein and chow fun which had variations for each of them. For chow fun, we chose the one with gravy over the noodles. Also, if you check in yelp, you get free eggrolls. The food came in pretty big portions and we had leftovers enough for several meals. However, we didn't particularly enjoy the food. Everything was pretty greasy and didn't taste very good. Out of everything we ordered, the Mongolian beef was probably the best. The orange chicken didn't have much chicken in them and mostly consist of the orange breaded part. They were oddly shaped and it felt like we were eating dough. The noodles also weren't very good and not all part of the noodles had gravy on them. It tasted a bit bland and the noodles stuck together in the middle. The service also was a bit slow. It was Chinese New year so we understand they were busy. However we waited for a while getting and paying the check. They took the cards of 3 tables including ours at the same time, however, we waited at least 10 minute more than the other tables getting our cards back. We're usually pretty patient but it was taking so long we asked them if they were almost done with our cards and they just said they're still working on it. Overall, we weren't impressed with the food or service here and will try the other restaurants when we're back in the area.

Their food used to be decent but now everything tastes like boiled, so bland no flavors at all. Fried rice now tastes like rice with oil that's it. Plus they charge 18% gratuity if party is over 5 people. I don't recommend this restaurant anymore.
The food was pretty bad, had a funky flavor. The atmosphere was terrible, everything was dirty in all the ways you don't want a restaurant to be dirty. Poop all over the toilet seat of the bathroom. Worst I've ever seen (and I don't mind a grime-y hole in the wall spot!). The one upside is I didn't get sick from eating there. Sorry Full Moon House!
