Great place to work as a student! Good coffee
Extremely packed during the week and getting a table is nigh impossible. but I love this place. Favorite spot to study. If you like ambient noise, on the louder side, this place is for you.
Busy coffee shop with decent prices, good brews, and friendly staff. I dig their music selection but it can get loud when the place is busy. Not a good place if you’re looking to get away from it all.
This place has great atmosphere (a good study spot if you don't mind studying with music). They have great pastries and the staff are friendly.
Students mess hall for java. Always busy hey even comes with an old school toaster. Bring your own bagels or bread (byob) on the way to the frat hall party. #Gobruins
I was a PostDoc from 2001 to 2003 at the UCLA - doing research on Fullerenes. The morning coffee at the Kerckhoff Coffee House was part of my morning routine and still today I use my Kerckhoff mugs to drink coffe at home! I was not anymore at the Kerckhoff since 2003, when I left the UCLA at the end of my PostDoc.
It's in a beautiful building inside of UCLA. Great atmosphere and surrounding area. The coffee tastes good too.
The line can be a little long and it can be hard to find a seat sometimes. Usually it's better to just get a latte and go outside where there is a large patio area.
The coffee here is great and it's a great place to study if you like noisy environments.
It has good coffee and a variety of quick bite offerings but the place is always packed and expect a line.
One of many spots I used to frequent as a student. It still has the same charm.
The thing that I like about this place is that the coffee has a very good taste, unlike other places that seem to be more sugar that anything.
People Watching was born in this cafe. Thanks Conan Gray and this place for existing
Little caffeine trick. I'd your coffee is lacking, stop by a student coffeeshop. They make that stuff diesel strong.
I’ve studied hear many times as a student and really enjoy the coffee and atmosphere of this place. It is always the perfect amount of bustling, with great music playing, pleasant ambient conversation, and the perfect temperature year-round. I’ve had interviews, study sessions, and done homework here. Menu is great and not too pricey, they also accept dorm vouchers!

Best vanilla Latter ever!!! I look forward to coming UCLA campus just for my very favorite coffee and latte. Delicious!
Favorite coffeehouse on Ucla campus. Comfy chairs, good music, good coffee & donuts! Amongst other food like sushi. Can be crowded and sometimes too loud if you want to study but overall, a gem.
The pastries were fire, the staff was so friendly. Coffee very good, too! Great space to do work if you needed to.
Love this coffee house. It’s perfect when you want a great cup of coffee and a small snack. It is quiet and great for studying. It is comfy and the staff are great.
Best place to study on campus in my opinion. It is usually busy so it might be hard to find a seat inside, but the courtyard and the upstairs study lounge are great options. The staff is always very friendly. The coffee is decent and I would recommend the classic breakfast sandwich.
Everything was great! The person who took our order was so knowledgeable and helped me choose a drink I ended up loving. The place smelled of coffee, but it wasn’t overbearing. The seating options were great both indoor and outdoor! I did end up with a paper straw though, but it wasn’t as flimsy and awful as other ones I have had in the past. I also think they have plastic straws as well since I saw other people with them.
I really enjoy the cold brew here. The ordering process was impressively fast, taking less than 2 minutes at the kiosk around noon. Although it was hot inside, I easily found a comfortable spot in the shade outside to work. The staff was also very kind and helpful.
A really nice and nostalgic coffee shop run by students. A little bit crowded during the day obviously... but fast and friendly service. The coffee seems a little watered down compared to coffee bean but it's still pretty good. The pastries and snacks all seem over-priced and seem unhealthy and are probably full of High Fructose Corn Syrup and other cheap ingredients that make me fat. I wish there was just a small cookie for 50 cents to have a bit or two with my coffee. The place could really use a renovation but at the same time the classic setup reminds me of my days as a student. I'm so glad UCLA didn't allow Starbucks or some other greedy corporation to do business on campus. Please upgrade the piano, and add some real plants, change the carpet, maybe refurbish some of the other features. Overall I give it 5 stars, I love being able to sit by the windows and enjoy a little cool breeze from the courtyard.
We wanted to find some coffee as we explored UCLA and this place popped up. It was a Sunday afternoon and almost every seat was being used. All the drinks we ordered tasted great. It was a surprising place to find on the second floor in a campus building.
This is a very nice looking Cafe on the 2nd floor of Kerckhoff Hall on the main UCLA campus. The building is very impressive and historic. The interior of the Cafe has alot of character with antique looking tables, chairs and medieval style windows. There is also large courtyard seating next to the Cafe. The Coffee, mixed blend, I had was very good as were the raspberry and cinnamon pastries. This Cafe is very conducive to studying and meeting people in a warm, classical atmosphere. The Staff is also excellent.

Can be hard to find a seat. Their iced vanilla and caramel lattes are really sweet, I hope they don't add too much syrup in the future. Oat milk would also be a nice option for non-dairy substitutes.
Prices are on par with Starbucks and peets but quality is not. Unless you absolutely need a latte, etc, I prefer going to SEAS cafe where their coffee starts at $0.85 and their quality is quite reasonable for the price.
What happened to the ice cream? When did that go away?
As college shops go it's pretty good. Coffee tends to be on the harder side but that's how it is at most places on campus. That's why I opt for the ice blended coffees.
Very good coffee. They got a maple be con dounut. I'm a fan. It's a little busy on the weekends but worth the wait.
Hidden gem!!! I would love to have figured it out that it was tucked inside Kerchoff earlier … Lovely chai 🍵
It was okay.. it wasn’t like great. We got the caramel mocha and it just tasted like a really really sweet frappe
The tea was OK but I wanted a tea latte made with actual tea bags. It's a great place to get some studying done.
Good coffee for a pick up. A bit on the pricey side and seating is often filled up.
Can get pretty stuffy due to being a small space, but the service is good and the ambience is awesome.
Nice little coffee house in the middle of the campus. Nothing special, lots of pre packaged food although they can do toasted bagels etc, but the coffee was good and the food was fine. Very small area to sit indoors but lots of space outdoors.

I love that there is a good coffee shop right in the middle of campus. I am a big fan of their iced tea and regular coffee, the chai tea latte was too sweet for my taste. They also have a decent assortment of snacks/lunch options. Service speed just kind of depends on the time of day and who is working, if you are trying to grab-n-go leave yourself a little extra time just in case.
A bit busy, would help to have more people working there, they were very respectful and kind . The coffee is good.
Nice place in central UCLA for coffee and pastry but pretty warm. It's hot enough in there that outside on a summer day was more comfortable thanks to the breeze with fresh smog.

Decent coffee house on the UCLA campus. Kind of a long wait for an iced mocha, but there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Curious to know what the building was before a coffee shop.
it's a good place to hang out with friends and study. however the music selection is awful. very noisy and very loud. It's quite disturbing honestly. Regardless if you dont need to connect to a power point or can stand summer heat, there's a lot of outside seating (dont even have to order a drink and there's free wifi everywhere on UCLA campus - with some email reception limitation tho). chairs might be dusty outside and it could get quite windy. no matter what personally i do prefer sitting outside instead.
I got an iced coffee here, too bad they don't have cold brew. It was fine, but that was about it. Even on a Wednesday afternoon in the summer this place was totally full and I had a hard time finding a table. So I assume that says something for the place, although that something could just be that it is a coffee shop on a big college campus.
Given that it's one of the few offerings on campus, I am usually stuck with it, like it or not. Be sure to give them your order loudly and clearly, and repeat it again before you pay. They screw up at least one drink a week for me despite doing everything I can to force them into competence. If there were options, I'd recommend avoiding this place.
I like the vibe of the area but its pretty full with a medium sized line. Got a regular iced coffee and it was not great, much cheaper than other places on campus and i still feel like i wasted the $3 spent on it

Nice environment, but the service is highly inconsistent. Some employees put coffee in items that are labeled "caffeine-free". Jimmy's is the better coffee shop on campus.
pricey coffee and pastries that are neither that good or consistent. paid $8 for a quarter filled croissant and hardly any filling bearclaw. 5 dollars for not better than mediocre coffee.
Love the environment but recently bruinbuzz’s coffee tastes so much better
Cool place to study. However, the staff working there are a bunch of children. They just like to sit there and gossip. When you go to order, they act like you are bothering them. All of them should be fired including their manager.
