One of my favorite coffee shops ever. I love how naturally sweet and or how subtlety sweet their coffee is. The service is always cozy and friendly. Basically its like Cheers 🍺🍺 only with coffee. And everyone does know my name(s)🙋🏻♀️❤️☕
Great experience. Staff is superb, sweet, and kind. Great atmosphere, food, and coffee are top-notch! Can't wait to go back soon.
Their Maple oat Latte is super good! I love their seasonal menu items too. Great place to meet with friends for a coffee and a light meal!
Cute coffee shop in Encino. Tasty coffee, good place to work with plugs! Play jazz music and it’s not too loud.
The best. I love their matcha and their ambiance. It makes me so happy everytime I step into Laidrey!
Great coffee, Great place to chill, to work, to read, to have a brief business meeting, or just to observe people do “people watching” :)
I love this place!!! I remember coming here when they had the stand outside! my drink is always made perfect and quick and the baristas are nice and friendly
Excellent Coffee shop, very friendly / best coffee ever. The workers are professional and friendly and their customer service is excellent
MEXICAN HOLIDAY LATTE........ TO DIE FOR! COFFEE HOT OR COLD AND PASTRYS, HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOIMNG THERE AND HAVING A MUKBANG LOL. DEF MY NEW FAV PLACE!
Great freshly roasted coffee, multiple selection for filter.
Same good solid drinks and staff from the OG location.
Coffee with friends. Chill vibe with a tasty espresso and a pastry
Was driving down Ventura craving good espresso, and a delicious pastry. I saw this had good ratings and stopped in here and I’m very very happy. I am a coffee snob, and the espresso was incredible. The pastries 100% I will definitely keep coming back ❤️
This place was absolutely delightful. Beautiful cup of coffee with one of the best simple avocado toast I’ve ever eaten and the bread taste like they had just baked it. This place is a love.
Great spot for working. Lots of outlets, internet is really fast (300+ Mbps down), comfy seats. Music might be a bit loud if you want to take calls though. Matcha latte is pretty good too. Pretty easy street parking just a short walk up Oak Park Ave
This place is bomb. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the red velvet coffee ☕️ and it was amazing! Love the atmosphere. Very chill, and a nice outside view with nice couches and pillows. Friendly staff. Definitely will return.
Found this place using Google. Happened to be on opening day. Really loved the look and vibe walking in. Gave 4 stars for service as we waited at the order area for about 4-5 min before anyone acknowledged us. There were only 2 people working behind the coffee bar. But once our order was taken the baristas were friendly and helpful. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. So many delicious looking pastries. Tried the gf brownie. Quite tasty. Had an iced Americano. It was fantastic. Espresso was roasted to perfection; not bitter or over-roasted. Smoothe and flavorful. Will definitely come back.
Ordered the oat maple latte, very delicious and quality coffee not bitter at all and not overwhelming sweet. The staff was kind and quick. The interior is nicely decorated and comfortable to sit in. And biggest of all for me the give you an actual mug when sitting in unlike most chain places COUGH COUGH Starbucks, coffee bean tea leaf, etc. so it feels nice to be treated like an adult who knows how to return a mug. Definitely a great local business to support!
What a pleasant surprise! Met a friend here for a coffee, I ended up getting a Mexican hot chocolate and she had a cardamon coffee latte. We got a friendly welcome and had many questions that were answered. Plus everything was served in ceramic! Thank goodness!! Crafted hot drinks just taste better in a real cup or mug. Cute bright space with lots of tables both inside and out, perfect for chatting with friends.
Coffee lovers heaven would be best to describe this place. All the coffees that we ordered tasted beyond amazing. We were a group of 9 people so got a chance to order and try multiple different coffees all together. That’s the best way to make differences in tastes of different coffees. Some of the best were: Honey Lavender Latte both cold and hot Oat Latte Matcha Latte 💚
- Delicious lattes (this is important) - Plenty of seats - Coffee roasting right inside. - They say cinnamon is also delicious, but I didn't have it this time.
Just as great as the other space in Tarzana. Pour over was fantastic. Breakfast sandwich on a croissant was very tasty. Took some beans home with me. Will be back

My husband and I tried this little coffee shop here early this morning we got the maple oak lattes very delicious we plan on coming back later today and getting some more after our doctor's appointments
This is an amazing woman-owned business with so many options. Not only do they have a million drinks to choose from, they also have gluten free and vegan pastries. Definitely check it out!
I've been a long time customer of Laidrey since they first opened, and I love their coffee! I recently signed up for their coffee subscription too, and it's been so great getting high-quality coffee at my house every morning just like at their cafe! They always have really fun snacks at the cafe too perfect for having with a drink -- the rice krispies are my favorite :)
I probably have written 3 reviews in my life and adhere to the Don Draper philosophy of that’s what the money is for. But the staff at Laidrey are incredible and have been such an amazing addition to the Encino community, I felt the need to write a review. It was also prompted by the staff treating customers like family and in this instance preparing my order while I waited in a long line. It’s the little things and it made my day! So thank you for today and always being an incredible start to my day. If you have not had a Latte or a breakfast burrito from Laidrey, you’re really missing out! Spanish Latte is amazing!
One of the best coffee shops in the Valley! Their coffee is roasted and ground on site. The quality is amazing. Also love the breakfast toasts and burritos...yum! The staff is consistently excellent and efficient. Love Laidrey ❤️
Such a quiet and peaceful atmosphere + great coffee. Will definitely be back!

A cozy corner cafe/bakery with great coffee and limited desserts
I have loved this place since it has come to Encino. This weekend I went there and sat with my family and drank warm coffee for an hour. It seemed like there were some organizational issues which are uncharacteristic of them. For example, the pastry cabinet was nearly 75% empty which was disappointing. I also ordered a burrito and when I received it it was cold. They are putting this really large premade burritos into a commercial toaster oven and it did not really work. The tortilla was half toasted, half not and the inside was not warm. I suspect because it is such a large burrito with very dense potatoes it will not get an even heat at all. I guess in the future I will stick to the pastries and coffee. Hopefully they have a better selection of pastries next time.
I love Laidrey! However, each time I go to the Encino location, there is some mishap with my order, so I think I prefer the Tarzana location. If the weekend staff took a second to ensure they had the details right, I'd probably prefer the smaller Encino location, though. It's so cute and the food and coffee is absolutely excellent!
Good atmosphere !!! Nice and friendly barista! The coffee here is good ! My coffee was full body, a little above medium bitter, a little lower than medium acidity ! It has a tiny bit of floral note…Love it! Cinnamon roll was yummy! It was thick and moist. Sweet but not overly sweet 👍 cream cheese frosting!! There are more pastries like pistachio croissants , morning bun and donuts! As well as breakfast like toasts & sandwiches You can grab coffee beans, mugs, coffee gear as gift or self use ! Plenty of metered street parking

The vibe is nice, but the coffee and the food are both a let down. Ordered an espresso drink and a pourover, both were fairly unpleasant.
I saw a reel showing this coffee shop. I will review when I go there in a few days.
I wanted coffee but instead got a sweet flavored milk. At least the milk was warm and sweet but there just wasn’t a coffee flavor to follow it up. And hey it was only $8 for my warm milk so that’s a love. If you’re in the area just go down the street to Peet’s. The milk there has a a strong coffee flavor for whatever reason.
Great location, but the staff is very dry and rude. We ordered a coffee and matcha my wife loved the matcha which is great , but the coffee was old and cold I ordered a drip I asked the lady to give me a warmer one and she gave me the same batch cold and only warmed up the milk very dissatisfied since this is a coffee shop.
i have ordered Iced vanilla Latte, ask for light ice hence they charge 50 Cents for topping up milk, it is completely unacceptable. after charging $7 asking for extra 50 Cents to top-up with milk. i like ambiance, place is always packed. i use to go there 2-3 time in week but now i stop visiting often may be once a month. in $7 you can get gallon Organic milk (128 oz). you can make 16 cups (as cup $75is full of ice) of latte with gallon of milk.

The eggs were overcooked. For a 1-3 people line they couldn’t keep up with clean utensils. It took over 30 minutes to have water. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back. Overpriced at $22-26/ pp for coffee and food. There are prior reviews that express the same (if you’re reading this)
I'm a huge coffee enthusiast. The place wasn't as busy pretty easy pace. But why did I have to wait 15 minutes for bagels & coffee? They're a little slow tbh it was my first time too.
Somehow, the service here continues to only get worse. The staff are so inconsistent and it is obvious in the quality of the drinks. Will never go back here.
Lowering my review to 1 star. See the other recent reviews and you'll understand why. Nickel and diming of loyal customers isn't cool. Even Starbucks doesn't charge for alternative milks. And, no, pistachio milk isn't some luxury item. According to Laidrey ownership, it's essentially liquid gold. In reality, it's 7 bucks at Target. Your prices are nuts. Your replies are nuttier.
What ever you do, don’t come here, you can go down the street to Starbucks or Coffee Bean. The workers are so rude and they don’t even care about you or your drink/food. You might think they are professional but they have no idea what they are doing. I’d rather go to Starbucks and inject my body with all these toxic chemicals than eat at Laidreys again. 2/10
LOL at charging a dollar for pistachio milk. So it wasn't enough to charge me 9 bucks for a latte? You had to make it an even TEN DOLLARS? Edit: Oh my. Your reply somehow managed to make it even worse. A carton of the pistachio milk you use even at regular retail price...is 7 bucks. I use it at home too. So skip the sob story. You're nickel and diming your customers. Your reply is in incredibly poor taste. We are also trying to survive in Los Angeles and spend our hard-earned money to help your business thrive. You repay us with stuff like this. Too many other coffee shops out there. I'm moving on to someone who isn't tone deaf.
After going for a walk around my parents neighborhood and walking into the Encino Laudrey location greeted by rude and grouchy employees. I tried to purchase a large cold brew coffee this morning with a $20 bill. Was rudely told that they no longer accept cash for payment. The customer is always right and it should be up to the paying customer who is paying for the product weather they want to pay with cash or credit card!! It's rotten of a business to require and demand payment by credit or debit card. There are people who aren't even fortunate enough to have credit cards or bank accounts. The female employee treated me like a criminal when I tried to pay cash for a $7 cup of cold brew coffee!! I also wrote an email this morning to laudrey coffee and have recieved no response!! This coffee place has rude employees and is a poorly run bussiness!! After being refused service due to not being able to pay for my coffee with a credit card I walked to coffee bean at ventura and Louise where my cash was happily excepted!! There is also a paris baguette, starbucks as well as coffee bean within a few blocks of the encino laudrey location. For the tarzana location there is a coffee bean a few blocks away and a peets coffee im tarzana with great customer service!! Hopefully laudrey coffee in encino amd tarzana will go out of bussiness. Rude and poorly run places don't deserve to stay in bussiness!!
