This place is cash only . The wait time is long! The place might be empty but the kitchen is always busy prepping phone orders. You need to be patient and call ahead of time. The pupusas here are totally worth it, best eaten pupusas in my entire life. Will totally recommend.

Best pupusas in town; filled with the right amount of cheese and the filling of your choice. The dough is crispy and cooked well. The prices are decent too. I cannot wait to try other items of the menu. If you are looking for some delicious pupusas, give Los Molcajetes a try.

This place a hole in the wall meaning that if you will literally miss this place if you are not careful. As soon as I walked in I realized that the restaurant was not to busy with customers but then realized as I waited that alot of the orders that they had pending or working on are pick up orders. That is exactly what I did, called in my order and it took around 40-50 min to be ready. I love the fact that you feel the authenticity with how the restaurant is runned by a few ladies and one gentleman doing all the heavy work. Reminds me of a family owned place where everyone puts in their part to make it run smoothly. I got home and the pupusas that I ordered taste delicious. I'm not a huge fan of cheese over powering my pupusas which I know most people are, and that's why I rate this a 5 star because everything was delicious other than that minor preference of mine. Highly recommend this place if you want some authentic pupusas.

It's a whole in the wall, so it's focus is not on the interior decor or nice dining area, so don't expect that here. It's simple seating, clean, humble, and great service. Their priority is on the food. Homemade comfort foods from El Salvador. And if you know about homemade food, then you'll know it doesn't pop out in 5 minutes. Be patient and wait because they're working their magic and it'll come out soon. Full of flavor and generous portions. I got 2 papusas, one with cheese only (because I'm a crazy nut for cheese) and the other mixed with cheese and chicharon. It was devine. I didn't want it to end!! My mouth is watering again as I remember those savory bites and cheesy goodness. If you're in the area, give this place a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised. -----> On a side note, give yourself time to find parking since there isn't any dedicated lot for this place except for the curb of the street. There is a local neighborhood church and on Sunday morning all parking was taken because their services were taking place (they are all very kind people!). Just keep it in mind for future, I ended up parking next door to burger King as a last resort.

This place my favorite pupusas and empanadas in all of LA! The pupusas are massive and a nice soft inside and crispy outside. Sometimes pupusas can be a bit dry, but not these. The empanadas also have the perfect texture.

This place has one of the best pupusas I ever had, they are decent size with lots of cheese and flavor. The wait is kind of long because of all of the phone orders that are coming in as well. Parking is very tight and limited. The place can use a remodel but it's not bad. Bottom line is that you will wait but it's worth it.

The food was good we order some pupusas and breakfast dishes and everything was tasty. The ladies in the kitchen reminded me of my mom when she was cooking, very authentic flavor, no greasy and their attention to serve you was always nice and very kind.

This restaurant is way different from the restaurant I have been, and on top of that ,we saw a water bug running from under the tables, I understand in some places or some people don't care about this ,well since back home ,we don't care for roaches and cleanliness, but even though my son wants us to leave, I have had great comments about the food so we stay and eat, and the cheese pupusas where delicious even though we were seating and watching at the reach upside down moving its legs, lol

Food is good but wait time is ridiculous, they don’t realize they need to hire help. 2 pupusas Can take up to 45 min to arrive. The same cashier is the waiter and buss person. They need to hire a waitress ! Pupusas are superb though! 2 missing stars for wait time !

Honestly, never been to a restaurant with such bad service. When they first opened up, bad service. I thought maybe they’re just getting adjusted. Let’s give it another try. Wrong. Management is really not doing their job right. Not organized at all.
