this place is absolutely delicious and the best dessert place in Westwood!! i come here at least 2-3 times a week bc they have everything to satisfy your sweet tooth - boba, shaved ice, hot almond soup, grass jelly desserts, fruity drinks, etc. Westwood has rly been needing a place like this and i'm so glad we finally have one. the interior is BEAUTIFULLY decorated, and it's just a shame that right now with the pandemic, we can't fully enjoy it. for now, i just stock up on the Signature grass jelly shaved ice and dream of days when i can come and hang out in the restaurant :)

Authentic Taiwanese desserts!!! Everything tastes so good here and the seating was plentiful. Highly recommend coming here for cold (or hot!) sweet desserts / shaved ice if you’re looking for new dessert places to try. Their egg waffles are phenomenal too. The taro balls and q taro balls mixed into their shaved ice and egg waffles are my favorite. There’s a ton of different toppings you can put on your dessert as well. Highly recommend meet fresh!!!

So by the time we checked, our order was sitting there for a while and ice cream melted. Suggestion: Better app design or try calling out customer who may be waiting outside because it can get little crowded inside. Problem 2: Order was missing extra topping even with verbal verification upon pickup and got lots of ice in a drink that we specifically said no ice. Solution: There was no customer service on the app so we called the store directly. Manager was really good at handling the issue. So if you too have gotten the wrong orders, give them a call. Overall: Yummy Taiwanese desserts (hot or iced). Good and fast service. Still new and adjusting. Wonderful Asian dessert addition to West LA.

Honestly this place is 10/10 for me. I personally loooove chewy desserts and this place hits the spot every time! Customer service is amazing as they recommended great options to me that have become my go to. Service was really fast as well and the environment was clean and bright. Defintely one of my fav dessert spots i plan to keep coming back!

wintermelon with grass jelly was delicious! milk tea was underwhelming

I think they made the wrong order for us but we didn’t mind; pretty much everything here is good.

The dessert was just okay. Im kind of annoyed that they dont have certain things at every location. My whole point in going today was to try that jon yao dessert but they make it every location except this one. Some of the jellies and shaved ice tasted off so maybe I’ll try a hot dessert next time

It gets very crowded usually. I ordered shave ice and it’s pretty good! Bit pricey but worth a try!

Really cute, spacious cafe with plenty of seating. Wish different portion sizes were offered since the standard size can be a lot for one person for dessert.

Really good desserts but the service has room for improvement. Got my desserts to go and the personnel forgot my $1.25 add-ons 🥲 Next time I’ll have to watch out for small mistakes like that.

Love this cute boba place in Old Pasadena. My friend and I stopped by after eating hotpot. The girl at the register was super helpful with my order as it was my first time at the store. I ended up ordering the Uji Matcha Latte 50% sweet and it was delicious. Perfectly light and refreshing drink after a heavy meal. Love the cute marble tables and decor in the place. You can get some nice IG shots in the cafe. Recommend!

Doesn't say they close at 9:46. Came in to order and the sign says closes at 10, it also says that online and so I was looking forward to eating here but I was met with a lousy greeting and explanation, change your written hours

We were excited to try this place and it was pretty meh. We asked the woman working for a recommendation on what to order and she wasn't super helpful. We felt like the staff working were college kids maybe studying / doing homework and were not very excited that we walked in and they had to help us. Most of the tables were dirty and we were super unimpressed. Probably won't be back.

Even though we ordered them to both be cold, only one was. The taro one was lukewarm. The boba one was only cold where the boba was. And I wish they weren't so cheap on the boba. For an $8 and $8.50 each dessert cup it should have looked more like the photo instead of the soupy seconds we got.

Drinks - 3/5 I’ve had their wintermelon lemonade and red bean soup signature. For the wintermelon lemonade, I’d say 50% of the time it is made with enough flavor and 50% of the time the drink tastes watered down. This should be a simple fix with more of the syrup for flavor. The mini taro balls (mini qq balls) are 90% of the time cooked perfectly, fluffy and chewy. The red bean soup is flavorful, though you have to factor in that it’s $10 after tax for a bowl. That being said, if you’re craving something hot, sweet, and full of chewy yumminess, this is it! Ambiance - 4/5 The store has plenty of seating and has lovely natural lighting from the paneled roof. There’s lots of plywood in the decor and there’s a pleasant hustle bustle in the background from college students talking and background music. Service - 3.5/5 The orders come out quickly and I’m happy with that. That being said, sometimes they are busy and unable to wipe the tables and services. I had to go ask a waiter for a rag and spray to wipe my own table. Order notes: 1. The WiFi can be difficult to access. I would recommend the owner just make it open wifi - it is a big deterrent to come here for work and not be able to use their WiFi. 2. There is free 2 hour parking in Broxton before 5pm - PSA.

To be very transparent... This place is not good at all... The food was bland, the hot grass jelly soup wasn't hot... Etc... over my experience was just not great. Staff was attentive and very active to ensure line was moving at a good pace and everyone was helped on time!

Came because its new and there was no line. Got the milk tea with black sugar and boba. It taste like milk without the tea. The only flavor of any kind was the boba. Waste of money! Two stars because the place is nice with lots of tables. Perhaps worth it to buy a token drink and study with friends for a few hours when they allow dining.

Used to be able to put instructions in when ordering through DoorDash. Now you can’t. No one answers the phone either so you can’t even call to adjust your order.

This is the dirtiest Meet Fresh store, the tables are all sticky, when I ask them to clean the table, they just clean the one we sit... Leave all others dirty. I do agree with another review, they should clean the tables regularly. "Great" management! By the way, the employees were more busy on their phone than anything else.

The ordering process here is AWFUL, both online and in-store. Online they have to manually confirm your order, which means you have a 50/50 chance they don't and you'll need to go in and get it take your busiess elsewhere. In-store they have one ordering kiosk, which is ridiculous. This should tell you they're asking their employees to do too much, their assembly line for making anything is inefficient, and their customer experience is bad. They need to toss their online ordering process amd start over. Whatever company they use for it is awful. I also suggest they just auto-confirm orders. If their team is so backed up they should just turn off online ordering. However unless you're getting 150 online orders a night along with 300 in-store orders a night you won't need to do that.

The boba flavors are traditional but limited. I do love the shaved ice though and it comes in ginormous proportions, but I feel like I'm bothering them every single time I go in. Plus, the last time I ordered boba it took 25 minutes, and yea, I counted. The bathrooms are clean though and there are a lot of outlets and ample seating.

Owner take note, your employees are turning away patrons. In this kind of economy, your are lucky to have patrons. Just like other reviewers indicated, refused to serve when the store is still open at 9:45PM.

Employees here focus on treating their customers badly. They will do everything except prepare food for customers. I wait 20+ minutes for a red bean soup while there is no other customer here. Bad Service Bad Employee. Won’t come again.

Menu has no price and is really confusing. I ordered grass jelly, but they gave me ice and act like it’s my fault. When I finally payed more to switch to something I actually would have cost less. surprise surprise, it’s still the same shaved ices with a bit grass jelly added. The ice sucked out all the liquid from the grace jelly and the milk. For this price, this attitude and this taste, I’m never coming back.

Craving shaved ice, went in at 9pm they were closing. I stated the internet said 10pm, they were very rude and wouldn't serve us. They found it funny somehow and started laughing. Tables are dirty and the employees are intentionally ruining this store. Too bad I see good potential if the owner was involved and cared

They were out of everything we wanted, my friend had to go back and forth from the cashier to the menu 4 different times to find the right combination of things that they finally had. It took like 30 minutes to get our food, and it was stuffed into takeout bowls we didn’t ask for, to the brim, so that when we opened it, it spilled everywhere onto the table. We ate about half of it and cleaned up as they BLASTED music to get everyone to leave because it was closing time. I get that you’re trying to close, we see people leaving, it’s clear, chill out jeeeeeeeze.

Closed before 10pm! We specifically drove to Westwood for Meet Fresh and got there at 9... Their website and Google both have their hours every day until 10… what the heck??!! This is not how retail works.
