Everything I ordered was excellent! There aren’t many tables, but I was able to eat inside and the chips and salsa they brought out was really good. I also ordered a chile relleno and carne asada plate. The chile relleno was awesome with the salsa on top. The carne asada had really great flavor as well.

Been going here since I think like 2005. It was right next to Happy Corner Liquor whose amazing former owner Ted i still miss seeing. Anyways, everyone who works there is always friendly and helpful and I have never had a bad meal there. Go for the Pepe's Burrito if you have a large appetite, its a tremendous feast of a burrito. Whenever I find myself in California from miserable Nevada, I always stop in there. Sincerely the Fat guy covered in tattoos with Slayer across inked across his throat, yeah that guy.

I’ve been laid up recovering from a major surgery recently. So I’ve been making a point to order from a lot of the local restaurants. Mexican food is my comfort food go to so I’ve been hitting up all of the locals. I ordered the posole and the albondigas soup. Albondigas: the broth was thicker and richer than a lot of others. It was generously filled with the meatballs and plenty of vegetables. You get a large container and it’s absolutely delicious. Posole: again, the broth was very thick and Rich. They might thicken it with tortilla chips, which is a common thing, but the flavors are there. Large chunks of slow cooked pork. Very good lean chunks that are fall apart tender. No grizzly bits or extra extraneous fat. Was absolutely a pleasure to eat and hit every single spot. Overall, this place is a fantastic little gem. The homemade flour tortillas just add an extra little delight to the entire meal. I couldn’t be happier than to have this place in my backyard. If you’re considering going, it’s gonna be very hard to find something you don’t like about their food

Pepe's is delicious and one of my favorite places to order from routinely on Postmates! Their carnitas dishes are fantastic - I love ordering a Cali burrito and substituting in carnitas with a side of their tomatillo salsa. Their team is overall very good at following instructions to customize your order and I can't thank them enough for their care in putting together my orders. Tonight I ordered carnitas tacos and a crispy papas taco, all so tasty! Please support this local business, the food is excellent and their portions are really generous.

Come here for the food. Stay for Pepe! I’d always driven by this place & finally ventured in. Pepe is the sweetest man. The menu is expansive and you can’t go wrong with anything you order here. It being my first time, I got one of everything haha A few tacos. An enchilada side order. And the Baileys Flan—comes highly recommended by Pepe! He’s so proud that he said you can bring it back if you don’t like it! There is a very small parking lot but plenty of nearby street parking.

Went to this place per recommendation from my coworker and was surprised at how great this place tasted! We got the steak plate with beans and rice and the barbacoa burrito. Both were delicious! Beans were amazing. I had to order an extra side of them at the end of the meal. Very friendly staff and delicious food, would recommend! Wasn’t too crowded when we went on a Wednesday night. Decent sized parking lot with a small eating area indoors.

This is a very cute little taco shop! The service is warm and friendly. There are chips and a delicious salsa included. I ordered the Carne Asada burrito and my husband got shrimp and chicken tacos. We were able to sit inside at a cute little booth. It was overall a great dining experience! Everything was extremely fresh and scrumptious. Highly recommend!!!

I came to know this store through DoorDash during the pandemic. Foods were always delicious. Then, we came to the restaurant ourselves. The place is very clean, not too crowded, nicely decorated and the staffs are very friendly.

Best burrito I’ve had in LA! Luckily found this on Uber Eats. So good after ordering a few times I had to come in person to enjoy it fresh. Very friendly staff as well and a comfortable casual seating area.

One of the fattest burritos I’ve ever laid eyes on. I was shocked when I opened my container! It was so large that it lasted 2 meals. The quality was pretty good too. The red mole sauce was a great addition and I high recommend it if you get a wet burrito here. For the price, Pepe’s is more then worth it.

We ordered ahead and the food was ready right away. The place was clean but had the “hole in the wall” kind of feel which is exactly want you want with authentic food. The food lived up to the hype. I got the Chili relleno rice and bean burrito. Spot on with taste. The salsa was one of the best I’ve had but the chips were a little burnt. We really loved it. I would definitely recommend.

Busy but good. I guess those adjectives go hand in hand. Pepes was started by a guy that worked at Happy Corner and Im glad he did. Pepes has been around for a long time and is well known with locals. I havent been here in a while but a few weeks ago my sister in law brought over in tacos, I feel like Im kind of taco connoisseur and when I tried her tacos I was pretty impressed. I learned that they were from Pepes so I knew I had to go in as I havent been there in a long time. Pepes is a hole in the wall place with limited seating and a small amount of parking. It can also get very busy but well worth the wait. As a first timer I didnt really know what they carried but the guy at the register was really friendly and actually used my name which I was impressed by. I ordered four tacos (carne, chicken and al Pastor) wife ordered the flantas. We found a table pretty easily despite Pepes being busy and were promptly served chips and fresh salsa. The Salsa: GOOOOOOOOOOD, not like the bland stuff that a lot of places serve, this salsa was fresh and had pop. I like spicy and my wife doesnt but this was not over bearingly spicy, it was perfect. Tacos were probably some of the best that I have had in Mexico, Texas or California for that matter. As an Angelino, we love our tacos and these were dressed to impress. Carne- A+ not dry, perfectly seasoned Chicken- A+ Not dry, perfectly seasoned, shredded and delightful. Al Pastor- A+ a little kick, pefectly seasoned, just melts in your mouth. WOW. 4 tacos and a drink with chips and salsa for 8.99.. how can you beat that. This place really does it and at a very affordable price. Pepes hooked me in. Im coming back.

Tapping my feet my chimichanga was delicious light ,and crispy just delightful . After a long flight back home this was definitely needed. Service was smooth Erica the lone waiter handles all the tables, she small but mighty, handled the lunch rush with no problem. She even made the pineapple Jalpeno Margarita which was different almost refreshing . Phew 😌 food was great. Thanks Erica

This is my first time at this location. It was at lunchtime. The food was not horrible, but it was not the grace I have taste. I would be back to try some other stuff again, the location did not seem dirty. They was definitely not busy. The waiter was goodand I know the tea was good, any the Horchata was good as well.

Walked in to pick up a to-go order. Staff walked right past me without greeting me or smiling. Stood around for 3 mins waiting for staff to come back and acknowledge me before spotting my order with my name on a table nearby. Grabbed it and left. Food was good, doubt I will return though due to service.

Customer service was good and prompt. Food was alright but it doesn't travel well even if it's a short distance. Recommend eating in restaurant. Prices are reasonable.

I had ordered pepes burrito and made it wet for few bucks extra bout 18 or 20 for whole thing no problem I asked if it was spicy at all even a little I was told it was not I come home and my mouth is burning I don't do well with spicy sadly. As for the inside the guacamole is brown super old only decent part was beans and asada pretty disappointed and I live 30 minutes away so no way I'm driving all the way back

Service was absolutely horrible! When we got there there was one other couple in the restaurant. Carlos was our “server”. Took about 15 minutes to even come take our order. At this time another couple he apparently knows comes in. They have their order taken and delivered to them in about 15 minutes. Meanwhile we wait on sour cream for more than 15 minutes. We ask for the e check before this other couple and they get their check before us and cashed all the way out and left before we got our check. Zero recommendation for this place!

I ordered from here via Uber eats last night and let me tell you I have never in my life dealt with a so called manager in all my life. I ordered 2 quesadillas with chicken on side( instructions were typed in. Upon receiving the order it was of course not correct. I called the location and Erica answered and said that they don't get the payment from uber for like a week so they didn't have the money to refund my order and that it was obviously a kitchen error but again they can only be held to a certain degree of responsibility. This experience was a first and last for me. Don't waste your time and money.

Got the California burrito. The carne asada was some of the worst I’ve ever had. It was extremely overdone- Literally crispy. It was also the smallest pieces, like they had taken all the scraps that had been sitting on the side of the grill for an hour and scooped it into the burrito. Inedible. Threw it away.
