What a great restaurant. I have gone to downtown LA for dinner quite a few times, but never been in a restaurant with such great music. Food was excellent, an exquisite Mexican cuisine with fresh ingredients make the flavors a delightful experience. When you can not stop eating the chips because the chili powder is so delicious, you know you are in the right Mexican restaurant.The outdoor area is great. This place is excellent for a couple's dinner and/or a fun time with friends. Do not forget to get your parking validation!

The food, drinks, ambiance and service were all around GREAT! They have an awesome selection and variety of liquors. Tasty Micheladas and the Pez Paloma was excellent. Ordered the salsa flight with a side of chips and guacamole and everything was well seasoned and had just the right amount of kick and flavor to it. First time having a Green Campechana and it was very good. Generous amount of shrimp, octopus and everything else that goes into a Campechana. The fried fish and shrimp taco plate with cilantro lime rice and black beans also quite delicious.

went for a company party. food was great, beautiful atmosphere but a bit cold. they only had 8 heat lamps to serve a party of close to 80, but we also chose to have the party in cold December lol food was delicious in my opinion and the the view was just beautiful being downtown. i feel like the waiters could have been a bit more on top of who chose what meal and they didn’t seem willing to serve extra guacamole 🥑 without asking for an extra charge. with the understanding they were catering to a large party, i feel they did fairly well.

This place has very delicious food and drinks. I like how much flavor everything has. The drinks are very upscale. The only complaint is some of the items are a bit small in portion for the price point. The staff is very friendly, I recently had an incident where I got a chip in my eye (yes a chip) and someone from the kitchen staff came to help me and checked in on me. I was very grateful for his assistance. So far everything I have tried has been on point, shall return.

Came for a birthday dinner; table for 12. The restaurant handled the large party with a few hiccups. All of the food didn’t reach the table at the same time—suggested an issue with dish firing in the kitchen. Highlights: ⭐️salsa flight was INCREDIBLE!!! ⭐️ whole fish (branzino) was DELICIOUS ⭐️ octopus was yummy (or so I was told!) The drinks were balanced and strong. I had a whiskey drink and that was standard but the margaritas and mojitos were divine! As a DMV native, the fare didn’t standout to me in comparison to places I’ve tried. I would return for drinks!!!

First things first, Armando, our server, was so sweet. He was new, but it wasn't overly obvious. The MAJOR bummer, the entree was disappointing 😞. The appetizer of chips, guac, and house salsa (which we didn't realize was $14 until the check came...not a problem, but surprised) was sooooooo good!!! We should have stopped there. The food was presented beautifully. And to be fair, the ube waffles and the hibiscus margarita were yummy...but that was it. The salmon Benedict was VERY salty and the chicken from the chicken and waffles, was meh. It was soooo terribly disappointing. We wanted the entrees to be as good or better than everything else and for $100+, it should have been. Unfortunately, don't think we'll ever go back. 😕 Maybe for the chips, guac, and house salsa?!?! 🤷🏾‍♀️

Celebrating our Birthdays. We really enjoyed the ceviche, whole fish, NY steak, and Jamaica margaritas. Disappointed that the DJ didn't show up and clean up between dishes could have been better.

Friendly staff with good food. Outside patio was dog friendly and had a very pretty fountain! Sadly the weather was bad so we had to leave quickly but the staff did their best trying to make us comfortable! Definitely worth a visit!

The wait staff was fantastic. The patio was warm and cozy. I enjoyed my drink and the chips and salsa were a party in my mouth! However, this place is overpriced. six dollars per taco wasn’t it. Especially when the taco was small, the meat was basic and only had onions and one dry lime to help it out.. if I come bad I’d get something else.

The good: the food was amazing, the drinks were strong, and the waitstaff were attentive, efficient, and courteous. We ordered the fish and shrimp tacos, margaritas, and the Moscow mule which were all perfect. Chips and guacamole were on point as well. The mediocre: parking is not great. We just parked randomly at the J2 parking structure for the City National Plaza based on a few reviews I read. This is NOT the garage in which the restaurant provides validation. Proceed to the garage right next to the restaurant on 400 South Hope Street. Our fault but still an annoying 7 minute roundabout walk. The bad: there was some event going on next to us outside that was cordoned off by these flimsy folding wall panels. Apparently, the winds were blessed by the Greek gods themselves and blew one of the walls down on a table next to us, shattering the glass cups and sending a torrent of shards directly onto us. Luckily, no one was hurt, and the waitstaff immediately rushed into action to clean up and replace everything on the table. However, this was a dangerous situation that could’ve been much, much worse. Overall: the food and atmosphere were great, but I had to take away 2 stars for almost dying.

I arrived on a not so busy weekend and took longer than expected to be seated. Once seated we noticed another table who came after us were given menus right away. While we were left waiting for 10 minutes until we got our menus. Waiter then noticed he missed to give us the menu and stated he was busy and he apologized for that. Him being the only waiter for the night is not a good idea. Anyways the food... It was super salty. Shrimp fajitas, the Baja ceviche and even the chips with salsa! it looks like they are really pushing people to try their signature seasoning that kinda resembles tajin powder that is in micheladas. I notice a display about the seasoning available for purchase and said to my gal 'no wonder, they are pushing for this product so bad' Super salty and sour. I like ceviche and fajitas and from this place it was not it.
