I kid you not, this was the BEST coffee I ever had! Would definitely recommend everyone to try their cold brew in mission style - can’t wait to go back and have it again!! Hopefully I’ll figure out a dupe in the meantime… their plain bagel w/ cream cheese was yummy too :p

Philz always delivers, and this location is no exception! Generous seating indoors and conveniently located in a walkable downtown. Love that Philz has mobile ordering as an option now. The staff here are especially attentive and made sure to verbalize that they would craft the drink to perfection if there was anything you weren’t satisfied with. In my opinion, nobody does pour over coffee better than Philz when it comes to chain coffee shops! Love Philz and love this location!

My friend said this was one of their coffee spots and it was a great cup of Joe because of how they make it. I ordered the philtered soul with almond milk and I though it was pretty good. The right temperature and the flavor was on point. Overall it was an excellent coffee. I’d definitely come back check out there other blends and just be aware that parking is limited to street or garage.

Philz is always a safe and good choice to get coffee, pastry, sit down and chat!! It’s such a good coffee shop. My friend and I went to Philz for a quick coffee. The mint mojito never disappoints - I’ve had it with caffeine and decaf, both are really great. Original taste. Their speciality is the mint mojito or the rosé so definitely try these when you come here!! I tried the lemon poppy seed loaf bread and it was small but good too.

First time trying Philz Coffee!! Tried this spot based on a recommendation from a social media travel influencer. I ordered the iced mint coffee and it was amazing!!! Staff was very friendly and asked us whether we enjoyed the coffee, knowing it was our first time. The restaurant was clean, great seating indoors.

I had the most amazing decaf iced coffee here. The cream they use is delicious and my barista was very thorough and attentive. I've never been to a Philz when there wasn't a line and this DTLA location is no exception. Update: it's relatively quiet on a Sunday morning.

Amazing philz branch with very friendly staff! I highly recommend the mocha tesora, it has become my recent go to drink. Vibe is great and perfect for a nice 1-2 hour work session.

You would think I would give 5 stars to a coffee shop with pour over coffee, vegetable juice, an assortment of avocado toasts, but there are some drawbacks. And my biggest pet peeve is that they don't have high chairs. I mean it's not very welcoming to mothers to not have a high chair! I like to drink my coffee with cream so they take their nice hot pour over coffee and pour Cold Cream into it so then you have lukewarm coffee. Get a steamer for goodness sakes. Also they don't have any organic or Fair Trade coffee options. What is this 1994?

The coffee is fantastic, the pastry is solid nice. The clerks seem friendly but they do not tourists taking pictures in the store. Not enough space for dining that you may have to stand if limited seats were all taken.

Today Aug 19 around 4:40pm me and my friend walked in, and I payed for our food. While my friend and I were enjoying our food, I went up and asked for the bathroom. In response, I got told that they “don’t give out” the code and that I had to “catch the door”. After I went to sit back down, I saw another employee open the bathroom for a different customer. When she finally came out, I went up to ask again, to which one of the employees rolls her eyes at me and says “no code, I have to let you in”. I was treated with the poorest attitude and felt laughed at. In addition, when we were asking questions about the coffee ingredients since we both have certain allergies, the female employee seemed annoyed and made us feel like we were asking for too much. This is unacceptable, as someone who also works in customer service. Where’s the management?

Very rude staff. After I had my coffee served, I asked for the code to the bathroom but I was told that they are closed and that there are other bathrooms in downtown. Meanwhile they just let 3 asian young ladies in and we’re sitting waiting for their orders… so very rude!!!

Even worse than the tv psychiatrist Dr. Phil. Rude staff, few places to sit, overpriced, and the atmosphere of a drab cramped work break room. IIt can't get much worse. The only way it could be worse is if Dr. Phil was there with you lecturing you as you drank your coffee. Other than that, being here is scraping barrel
