As someone from the Bronx I was surprised at how authentic this was. Looks like a New York pizza place with the menu, pizza was delicious. The flavors reminded me of New York and those garlic knots! Nostalgic. The only difference was my pizza was NOT soaked and dripping with grease which I can do without.

As a New Yorker in Los Angeles, it’s painful when you’re looking for a decent Sicilian slice and people look at you like “what’s a Sicilian?” lol would ya believe some shops call it a “thick slice”. It makes you miss authenticity. I’m at home @ when I visit pizzarito, they’ve been around for ages, owned and operated by real New Yorkers. I appreciate when I see people who own a biz… actually work their own counter and meet their customers. Great pizza, it’s your quintessential NY slice, all the little treats you’d find at home, are here. Stromboli too!

Looking for a great slice of Sicilian pizza or missing NYC? Look no further than Pizzarito ! The food and staff are fantastic--the hostess was super kind to my puppy and newborn. Saw me struggling juggling a two week old and a rambunctious boxer--came to help me calm my pup down and even brought water for her !! Will be back soon !!

We moved to Orange County 6 years ago and have been desperately searching for great Pizza somewhat close to New York (that’s were the BEST Pizza is)… we FINALLY FOUND IT! This place is New York! The owner is an Italian from Brooklyn so he knows pizza,very very friendly..very clean…lady there was extremely kind and gave us Garlic knots to try! Will definitely be making that hour drive more often for this place! Bravo 👏🏼

I am not from LA and was in town hosting an event for work in Marina del Rey. Part of our day included a picnic at Burton Chase Park. I placed a delivery order online a few days in advance to be delivered to the park, and called one day before to confirm. The online ordering process was simple and straightforward, the person I spoke with on the phone (who I assume is the owner!) was very accommodating and kind. The pizza was delivered right on time to the park, still hot. We ordered several different kinds and each one was SO good. We also ordered a small tray of salad which was fresh, crisp, and loaded with toppings with two types of dressing on the side. Everything was delicious!! We had ample utensils, napkins, and plates. Thanks so much for helping our event end on a high note!!

This place is a legit gem of a pizzeria. Incredible, creamy high quality ingredients including an Italian ricotta, perfect crunch crust. The bread knots were fresh, warm and chewy served w a fantastic marinara. My entire family’s from Manhattan/Brooklyn and I’ve been in LA for 13 years. This is my favorite slice. Buon Appetito!

By far the best pizza in LA! Fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Owner is very kind and hospitable. We ordered a large pizza, half BBQ chicken and half cheese. The owner treated us to garlic knots and they were also so yummy! We will definitely be back!

OK, this place is the real deal! I am from New York myself so I think I know what constitutes a good New York Pizza joint . This is it. At least over here on the left coast. Great assortment of ready-made pizzas, ready to go. Delicious, thin, crushed and crispy. A delicious sweet marinara sauce and topped off with a friendly and sincere staff. Met the owner and he is a humble yet proud owner of this place. I highly recommend it get in there now. 🍕

As a fellow New Yorker and Italian who grew up in the pizza business. I know great pizza when I eat it. And this isn't NY Pizza -- not even close. I was very disappointed especially after seeing all the positive reviews. I guess the people of Marina Del Ray really dont know what delicious NY style pizza tastes like. First of all let's start with the size of their slices! On the small side. NY pizza slices are BIG. The smell when you walk in was fairly basic and didnt have that wow factor you get when you walk into a real NY pizza shop. Then there's the taste and that's where they completely lost me! It tasted like basic generic pizza -- Whole Foods Pizza would be on par with this place. They dont use any special ingredients to give it that NY pizza taste that leaves your mouth watering. What a bummer. I ordered the regular slice and the plain Sicilian. The Sicilian slice was so thin and dry and was even worse than the plain slice. Many of the slices looked like they had been sitting for hours. Old pizza gets a certain look after a few hours. The cheese starts to look like plastic. I tasted the pepperoni pinwheel and that tasted ok. Felt a bit small for the price. You can get 3 regular slices for about the same price, which would also be more filling than eating just the pinwheel. Then to top it off, they charge for refills on the fountain soda! Which, I'm sorry, is ridiculous. I am always on the lookout out for great NY style pizza in LA and so far one of my favs is still Joe's Pizza, which has a few locations throughout LA. I believe Joe's also has NYC water shipped to their locations, which makes a major difference with their high quality ingredients. Hate to say this, but if your a pizza snob, this place is a pass. Giving it a 3 out of 5 because the staff was nice.
