The best food I’ve ever eaten. Healthy, fast, affordable. The folks working there were kind and efficient. It’s clean. It has loads of vegan options for the plant based folks to enjoy. Good music (not too loud). Seriously the best restaurant we’ve ever visited. Cant wait to come back. Bring the kids!

I loooove Sweetgreen!! It’s healthy, delicious & has lots of variety. Staff is always friendly & professional and it’s always clean. I had a taste for something different & the young man who served me was outstanding. First, he greeted me with a big, warm smile. (Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name but he was about 6’3”, slender, African American with braids & has braces.). He was excellent! Was extremely helpful in helping me navigate through the many options they had. I didn’t know you could turn any bowl into a salad. Please give this guy his props! And Bravo Sweetgreeen! Whoever’s the manager here should also be recognized because it is consistently good in all categories.

Huge fan. We order from them regularly and are hooked on a the exceptionally high quality ingredients in the Crunchy Hummus salad - Spicy cashew dressing amazing. ALSO appreciate them serving in BIODEGRADABLE bowls instead of plastic - more restaurants need to follow Sweet Green practices! UPDATE - Sweet Green’s new recipe for the Hummus crunch leaves out the green olives substituting pickled onions. Please bring back the olives they are perfect with the ingredients - willing to pay more.

I’m almost embarrassed by how much I love me some Sweetgreen and I have it for lunch 6 days a week. No other fast casual restaurant comes close. Some might baulk at the pricing but if you look at the quality, variety and freshness of the ingredients it actually makes sense. Over the hundreds if not 1000+ salads I’ve had I’ve never seen a single ingredient that isn’t fresh so their standards are clearly really high.

Foods is always great at sweet greens. Service can vary with the dudes there, pretty faces but disturbing personalities and judgements. There is a wonderful Caucasian female who seemed to be the manager who is super awesome, def appreciate her.

This is probably my favorite Sweetgreen on the West Side. Last night I picked up a salad and a protein bowl with my girlfriend. Ace made our salads and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend the Shroomami salad and the Honey Chicken protein bowl.

What you see in the photo is all there is, no more sweet potato under that layer :( Also not pictured here: the hibiscus tea. So so good! Heartily recommend getting a bottle. I also love that they do glass bottles so you can feel better about recycling :)

I got their chicken pesto bowel. It was really good. I added on the avocado and adeed extra broccoli. But it really didn't look like there was any extra broccoli in it, there wasn't much. I had this delivered and there were no issues there. I would order again, just won't add any additional toppings.

Not a place for a big party as it doesn't have a lot of seating. But if you're into healthy options, you're near the Marina & don't need ambiance, Sweetgreen is the spot!

Love the food! This is the first sweetgreen location I've been to that isn't mostly digital. The customer service is great!

I had a fantastic experience at Sweetgreen in Marina del Rey! The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I have to give a special shoutout to Kevin, who provided outstanding customer service. It's a good quality fast food healthy meal. Only issue is it does take quite a bit of time to wait in line to get your meal. Just order online & pickup. Also there was an employee named Katherine who was fantastic, promote her!

We often debate between SG and Mendocino for salad, which is right next door. Personally I like Mendo as it gives you a bit more fulfilling portion with more ingredient varieties and richer flavors. This time I ordered Shroomami from SG which is great. The flavor is a bit plain for my taste but not a bad option overall.

Not impressed would not come back. Compared to other salad places your portion of lettuce to start off was small and the toppings selection was lacking. You do have better fresh grilled protein but that doesnt help me. You charged $6 dollars more and gave me less or none of what i wanted since you dont have it. Service from Alex was good.

Ordered a salad and faccacia bread and hummus and spent over 50.00 Had to eat the salad dry as the dressing container was only 1/4 of the way full, and if course there was only enough hummus for one about 2 bites. Please correct this issue and give customers enough dressing for their salads + hummus.

(I have been craving it for like a month now lol)open it up, get ready to toss it and I open up the lid to the small to-go dressing cup and I am met with the worst pesto that I have ever gotten form a sweetgreen. And I know how it should look like since I used to work there a long time ago. It wasn’t emulsified, it was chunk with huge pieces of herbs, it was oily, and it want the pesto that I used to know and love and the pesto I used to make myself. It wasn’t fresh either,m and you could see the brown hue coming from when herbs start getting old. Idk who who you guys have making the dressing but somebody needs to watch over them so they can do it properly. Follow the recipe and you’ll be fine. I love sweetgreen, truly and honestly I love it! It is one of the best salad places in la, for me personally, but it is sad that I have to pay $16$-idk how much $! for bad dressing that has no flavor and chunks of herbs that warmed like they were just chopped up and whisked in with oil. The salad was fine and the ingredients were on point but, the pesto just killed it for me. There was no love whatsoever or effort put into it and it sucks I spent my hard earned money on something like this.

Great food but rushed service. I get you’re trying to move fast but slow down a bit. I wanted a receipt at the end but they had issues with the printer. It’s a receipt in 2025, offer me some options. I mostly wanted to make sure I got points for the $40 I spent but wasn’t given any options.

Worst Sweet green location I have been to. I think they put 50% of the usual order.

Deplorable service. All the staff (waiters, cashier, kitchen) made fun of my friend's English accent, in front of him. We're French, and we work for the U.S. government. The sweet green personnel can mock us to our faces, even though we've come to create turnover in their store. Bold, when the machine asks for a tip: spoiler, we didn't leave one. I'd like to ask the staff: how many languages can you speak? I'll let you try to speak only "potably" French, that'll be something. The staff present on Monday 04/22/2024 at 12:40 p.m. deserve to be punished.

I was really looking forward to trying Sweetgreen, especially since the atmosphere in the area is so nice. However, I was too disappointed to enjoy it. For almost $20, I expected a filling, well-portioned salad, but what I got felt more like a snack than a meal. The ingredients were fresh, but the portion size didn’t match the price at all. I left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. For the price, I would have expected more in terms of quantity. Not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon.

I had a guy with “John Doe” on his name tag. Seriously the worst person to serve here. He was super serious and seemed bothered that he was helping me with my order. Plus he was stingy in everything including the kale serving. Didn’t even fill up the chicken cup. Frustrating to pay so much to get so little food and crappy attitude. Not going back to him again. I’ll wait my turn for the other workers who are at least smiling and serving decent sizes.

Hi, I'm happy to share my experience and why I have rated it at one star. We usually go to Mendocino Farm and happened to notice you guys and decided to give it. a try. I wanted the salad with the salmon, but wanted to substitute wild rice for white rice. at $16.99. So the employee recommended I do my own salad, so I told her I just want to substitute the white rice and whatever we do I don't wanna go over the $16.99. At the counter. So I got the four items with at no extra charge, a piece of salmon... at the register it was $22, or $23 with tip $28.00. And the Salmon was fishy, so i assume not fresh and over cooked. The dressing..not right... it just was not a good experience. When I pay $25-$27 for a salad, it's usually great and I'm served, I don't stand in line for 20 min. and eat out of paper bowls, and the salad was nothing to write home about. I should have stayed with my usual choice.

I ordered a salad through DoorDash and the bowl was almost half empty. Sweetgreen staff also throw plastic container of the dressing in the bowl too along with 3 limes. Not only it is not hygiene, but also they take more space from the salad. No restaurant does it. To the staff, the cost of the base greens is in pennies. See the photos you put on your website and make something close to it. Even 80% of it is fine. I suggest you visit other sweet-green branches and learn from them too.

Ordered through GrubHub, two bowls arrived with out any dressings/sauces. The food was dry and cold and without the sauce to add flavor it was inedible.

Stopped in for for a late lunch. Took about 5 minutes to get greeted as the staff seemed to be too busy entertaining each other. They were out of several items, including the basics (white rice, chicken, etc). I was told 20 minutes for white rice. As I stated I'll just go next door (to chipotle) the staff shouted remarks and growled at me in laughter as I left. Sweetgreen was once a powerful service brand, it's quite unfortunate the concept has taken such a decline.

I can’t believe the customer service at the place. All around horrible! Mistakes happen, but I’m very disappointed in how they didn’t make up for the inconvenience they caused. Unacceptable.

To deny such a simple substitution for children felt unnecessary and, frankly, exclusionary. It’s hard to understand whether this was due to pride, poor training, or lack of awareness—but in today’s food industry, turning away loyal customers over something so minor is disappointing. I am a frequent Sweetgreen customer across many locations, including Santa Monica and further north, which made this experience at the Marina del Rey location even more upsetting. I was confronted by three employees who repeatedly told me the substitution “wasn’t allowed,” even after I explained that we make this same replacement every time we visit. Eventually, after continued discussion, one employee did replace the protein, and I appreciate that. However, what I did not appreciate was being approached multiple times afterward by two other employees one of whom was a manager continuing to insist it wasn’t allowed even after I had already paid and was preparing to leave. This interaction lacked professionalism, compassion, and basic customer service. Sadly, I’ve noticed a similar decline in professionalism at the Santa Monica location as well. I plan to reach out to corporate/HR to discuss this further. I genuinely don’t want to see this food chain decline like so many others, but customer support and respectful treatment especially toward families matter. Let’s see how this goes.
