Opinions de New India's Oven Marina Del Rey
Such a great find! I had a curry lamb and it was full of flavor on the sweet side. They didn't have Stella Artoi so we tried Taj Mahal and it was better than Stella. great place for authentic curries and flavors.
Recently, dining at New India's Oven in Venice Beach, LA was a pleasure. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and there was ample parking available. The food was delicious! Even without being an expert in Indian cuisine, it was clear that the flavors were spot on. The unique spices used in the dishes really added to the experience. Overall, it was a great experience. New India's Oven should definitely be visited by anyone looking for a tasty and authentic Indian meal, with friendly owners to make them feel at home.
Love this place! Disagree with these 1 star people Completely!!! Tandoori chicken was outstanding! The pakoras and samosas...very good and all the dishes came out fast and hot! Every dish was delicious and we highly recommend:)
I wholeheartedly recommend dining here. The ambiance is serene, and the cuisine is exceptional. Observing the other dishes being served, I couldn’t help but feel envious—they looked that enticing. The staff provided excellent service, consistently checking in to ensure our satisfaction. The meal was outstanding and reasonably priced, making it an ideal spot for a delightful dining experience.
Wonderful food with wonderful service! My girlfriend and I have come here twice and the server remembered us and even the dishes that we ordered! It's very inviting and the atmosphere is very comfortable. If you're unfamiliar with Indian food, you'll want to get a dish, add naan bread, and add rice and you'll have a very filling meal at a reasonable price. The Vegetable Korma is particularly delicious! I also recommend the garlic naan as well. We have yet to try the buffet, but the dinners have been delightful!
Back in buffet action! A great spot for lunch or dinner, and for large groups or individuals. I’m not sure why a lot of reviews call the food bland, this was my first time and I loved it - The potato cakes were actually too spicy for my toddler 😊 You’ll find a delightful variety of vegetable dishes. The curried cabbage is amazing. Their chicken tikka masala was incredibly tender and ranks top on my list for chicken tikka in this city. For dessert, they serve a rice pudding with healthy bits of nuts. They also have Gulab Jamun, a dessert that is like donut holes soaked in simple syrup. Their carrot cake was traditional indian style and came with raisins - all of this can be mixed up and eaten together. They also serve fresh orange slices. Plenty of open seating space in a lovely decorated setting, and ample parking out front.
Great buffet, it is home cooked type of Indian food. What Indians traditionally eat on a daily basis. Very healthy and not much salt or oil in the food. Some people left reviews saying the food is bland, I understand what they’re saying but honestly this is what everyday Indian food is like. You can add the chutneys on top that are available in the buffet for free to enhance the taste. Lovely food and service and the salads are great too and so re the sweets
Nice place. The food is really good. I recommend this place. Enjoy your food with Indian music in the background. The atmosphere is friendly and positive.
Vegetarian dishes are phenomenal, meat dishes are pretty good, and the prices are perfectly reasonable. I recommend the Non-vegerarian dinner special with rice pudding, great way to try a bunch of different flavors.

Very nice Indian restaurant. Food is great and tasty, and its all authentic 🇮🇳 All you can eat option worked perfectly 😋 Manager is friendly, a good guy, didn't charge us for our 2.5y.o. ✨️ Thank you 🙏
I’m not one for leaving reviews but I have to give credit where credit is due. This place is amazing. They have fast service, the food is delicious, they even have a unique beer selection. They always make you feel welcome and explain exactly what everything is on the menu if you have questions. I always try and make time to visit this place for lunch or dinner.

Lumch buffet on Saturday was overall flavorful. Good choices. Clean, customer service not as welcoming more straight forward. Its nice to welcome customers to make them feel you care and appreciate them. Lentils had fantastic favors.
This location, it's really quiet. Food is very flavorful. Very authentic. I will come again recommend
We had a takeout from this place so I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere. The food arrive fast and hot despite ordering during peak times in a Friday evening. The onion bajis were nice and same with the popodums. The bindhi masala was fresh and the okra was well cooked and was melting in the mouth. Rice was well cooked. The only slight problem was with the lamb dish - it was a bit tasteless and it had no kick to it although we ordered medium spicy. It was also under seasoned. I’ll probably order again and try something else.
Got the buffet. Pretty good for the price. The chicken tikka marsala was good, two kinds of rice. But the accoutrements are what I usually pay attention to. Pickled turmeric carrots, a yogurt dish - kind of an Indian tzatziki.. with veggies and salad. Not bad

Service is great. Atmosphere is good but food overall is tasteless.

Worst food ever & the service was ok. We ordered papri chaat, chicken biryani, garlic naan, paneer tikka masala, kebab thali, and gulab jamun. Chicken biryani was like sweet rice with few chicken pieces. Garlic naan & Paneer tikka masala were ok, kebab thali was horrible, and gulab jamun was served cold. Would not recommend it to anyone.
Very disappointed in this restaurant. I ordered vegetable tikka masala for delivery and they gave me chicken tikka masala, which I didn’t realize until I ate chicken. I’m a strict vegetarian. I called and politely explained what happened, and they didn’t really seem to care. With delivery fees this is a $30 dinner that I won’t even eat.

Let’s start with the food. For context, I am Indian, grew up eating Indian food. The food is forgettable, bland, nothing to write home about. Not terrible, but certainly not the best and definitely not worth the TERRIBLE service. Let’s get into it! My toddler has never been charged to eat at a buffet. We’ve gone to dozens over the years and have never once been charged for his plate. We never make him a plate, rather we typically will give him a piece of bread or a spoon of rice and split our dessert with him. Today of all days he decides he wants to try the chicken so we put the chicken on our plate, then got a spare plate and cut the 3 little pieces we gave him on it. I also put his piece of bread, a tablespoon of rice and a piece of potato on the plate. Just ate the chicken. The server only came to our table twice in the 30+ minutes we were there - once to drop off bread then a second time to tell us that if we come back again and put my kids food on a separate plate we’ll be charged the champagne buffet price for my kids meal. Neither of us even took the champagne our buffet meal came with, we opted for water. The server never asked how the food was, never checked in, never asked if we wanted more bread or water, and waited until the end to clear the plates once they were piled up. Spent the whole time on his phone. He was rude, so when I paid the bill and left NO TIP because the service was TERRIBLE (and made sure to write that so he was aware since he scattered like an ant once I asked for the check)he followed me out to our car and tried to argue with me about it. So unprofessional. I explained and he was so defensive, so I told him have a great day, got in the car and left. In this economy there are SO MANY better tasting buffets to go to. Which was clearly where everyone else seemed to be - place was practically empty the whole time we were eating! Definitely skip.

The chicken Tikka masala was not good , kinda sour tasting. They don't provide rice with it, atleast not for my order. Garlic naan was missing from the order. Samosa was dry.
