Always delicious fried chicken here. This chicken is better than Popeye's and KFC. It is a shame that they don't have a restaurant in Orange County.

First time at Pollo Campero ... had a 2 piece meal with Horchata and corn salad as a side ... the salad was amazing, the flavours mixed well together, the chicken was crispy and tender and juicy ... it was full of flavour and not overly spiced ... I really enjoyed this quick meal and the Horchata was super refreshing !!!

GUATEMALA 🇬🇹 Eat the World LA review: It is no surprise that when Pollo Campero first expanded to the United States, they chose to set up a location in Los Angeles, the largest concentration of Guatemaltecos outside of their home country. That day back in 2002 (and for a while after), the original Pico-Union location inside of the Curacao Business Center was mobbed by Central Americans hungry for a taste of back home. It is still open and thriving in a neighborhood where many Guatemalan and other Central American people live. There are many things that set this fast food chain above its American counterparts. Firstly, they treat you well, are friendly, and do not seem inconvenienced when you place an order. It's also nice to eat off of real plates and create less waste. Fries are not the obligatory choice of any combo meal, the list of choices is at least 10, and includes tostones, sweet plantains, Campero's special beans, and many more. All for the price of a combo meal at McDonald's or Burger King, where you could never recognize actual chicken meat.

Great service they are always so welcoming and they make sure I have a great experience when eating there for sure coming back for more fried chicken

1/17/26: Had the 2 piece fried chicken. I strongly prefer the breading and flavor of Popeyes and Jollibee compared to Campero. I don't think this is bad, I can see why people like it but just not my thing.

Is sad there are not a manager control and they are not working like a team because there is not a leader who can bring different chores to anyone, all The workers inside doesn’t care what happen around and when you ask for your order or have some complaint nobody listen and nobody want to help with good behavior with all staff working are focus just in one activity. Very slow to wake up. Between 9 and 10 am. They are more concerned with taking care of their kids that hang out in the dining room every day, then taking care of customers.

I ordered and PAID a 1 spicy chicken sandwich at 714pm - the solo sandwich was ready 20 min AFTERRRR, so it is easier to fulfill 20-30 pcs of chicken than a single sandwich??? Worker virginia has the worst foochie face and attitude when helping people. I’ve had to deal with her a couple of times and makes my experience worse everytime I walk in the restaurant.

Raw Chicken! You got to be kidding me. I asked the so-called manager at the Santa Ana location (Adriana) for her corporate number, and she told me to look it up. My order was delivered, and it was incomplete. This is what happens when there's poor management. Stay as far away as you can from these phonies unless you like Salmonella.
