Very delicious. It used to be a bit better. The rolls were much larger. But the all you can eat menu is perfect and they have a ton of different sushi choices.

Sushi 21 was AMAZING. The food was WONDERFUL. It wasn't what I was expecting. It exceeded what I thought it would be. The food is not sitting around. It is made to order. The service was EXCEPTIONAL & the food came out quickly. I can't wait to come back to Vegas, just to dine here again.

Despite it’s outward appearance, this place is truly a hidden gem in San Pedro, top tier sushi and sides with a very charming atmosphere. Definitely a place to look into next time you have a hankering for Sushi

Every time we go there the sushi is so fresh, friendly people. We get the all you can eat and they don't load up a bunch of rice to fill you up! I quit going to the other spots 21 all the way.

I am very impressed with Sushi 21. Not too many people were there at the time of my visit, and oh boy, the sushi was amazing! It’s a little expensive, but man, is it worth it. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for really good sushi. It is made perfectly, and this restaurant has a very large menu. I recommend the Crunchy Roll for anyone that likes the kind of sushi you would find at a grocery store, and the H.O.T. Roll for anyone that likes a little kick.

Our first return after Covid. We were spoiled, by our beautiful, intelligent, attentive waitress. I felt valued. Wow, the food was Michilin Star! A respectable family business we honor. It is so nice to be remembered by the staff. Valentines Day was perfect!

This is the best sushi place I’ve ever been to, all staff are amazingly friendly and polite , good prices , generous amounts of ginger and wasabi. I come here all the time and I’ve never had a bad experience. Highly recommended ! Also the baked salmon roll with cream cheese added will melt in your mouth it’s the best roll ever .

The San Pedro roll is great! The California roll is also always very fresh and light. A nice local spot for sushi, would recommend.

Good sushi, clean inside seems like it's family owned, not totally sure on that though.I know they can't help where they're located but for me I didn't really care for being on the main street and watching traffic. If you don't care about the view then it's definitely a very good place to eat

I had read numerous negative reviews. I went there and found it to be very good. The food was good, the service was good. My visit was on a Friday night at 5:20 pm. I would definitely go back again.

I had different type of rolls and only 1 ginger little fresh ginger to go with, they need to pack more depending on amount of order. I live not close by to go back and request more. Guy is friendly but girl is not to friendly sometimes, needs better comunication I feel.

Food is great but they are stingy with the condiments. Ordered 3 different types of sushi and only gave us one small container of spicy mayo. Ordered an appetizer and again one tiny container of the sauce for it. Did not realize the containers were that small or would have ordered extra with an additional charge of $.50. I thought that since I had ordered 3 types of sushi they would add sufficient condiments for all three and they gave me one tiny one for all of them. This was my first take-out order with them so I would think that the service would be the same if it were eating in or for take-out. Like I said food is great but very stingy with condiments.

Best sushi in Pedro. If you're having 2 or more rolls, I'd consider doing the all you can eat. They should strongly consider adding a kid's menu, as well as improving their customer service skills. I've worked in food service for 6 years, so I have very little patience for lackluster waiting skills.

I like Sushi 21. Not sure if it's because they're one of the few sushi restaurants in Pedro but I think their food is fairly good, their prices too, and their service. They make it fresh at the sushi bar and I can get huge Japanese beer for like $4 or $5 which I think is great. I hate their parking though. I always have to park in the hotel parking but haven't had a real issue yet. We are regulars.

Food is great, but service not so much. Cook is very outgoing but waitress won't come check on you unless asked. Update! Came again and got the waiter this time. He is attentive and gives suggestions to menu options.

The food is always good 👍 but today, the service was not so much. Had a party of 5. One person got their food before everyone. Then, when that person was done, three others were served. I received my meal last after everyone at my table was already finished with theirs. All food should have come at the same time. Other than that inconvenience, the staff was nice as usual.

Almost every roll has imitation crab in it... I wish they would bring more variety to the rolls because really, who wants imitation crab in every single roll? The sautéed shrimp roll was good and the service was good... just too much imitation crab in everything, unfortunately.

The sushi is just ok. Not top quality and the selection is weird. The salmon has lots of fat on it. The workers can't really understand English, I mean that's not normally a problem for me, but when they make no effort to correct their mistakes, it's a bit aggravating. We asked for 5 plates and 4 drinks, they forgot one of the drinks and when we told them, they still didn't get it. They just have bad costumer service. Like they leave you waiting for a while but they somehow always show up right as you're putting the last piece of sushi up to your mouth to take your plate away. Like what if I like to scrape up the rest of the hot mayo, damn!! In short, if you're in the area, why not stop by. But don't go out of your way to come here. We came all the way from West Hollywood. Was NOT worth the gas.

Just had lunch there today. Got a sushi lunch special and an eel/ shrimp tempura roll. The roll was filled with imitation crab mixed with mayo, topped with eel then the whole roll deep fried and drenched with sauce. What a terrible roll. The sushi lunch special had 4 Nigeria sushi, Maduro, shrimp, Hamachi and another white fish and 8 pcs of Maki sushi, 4 California rolls and 4 pcs of spicy tuna for $25. Total bill was $48. What a waste of time and money. No wonder the restaurant was empty.

Stopped by to have dinner with a friend that was visiting San Pedro for the very first time. The food is way overpriced, and on top of that the service was Horrible, they wanted to serve a white couple that showed up after we did. Both the waitress, and the cashier were very rude. They tried to make us eat our food very fast and brought the check before we even finished our food and told us to hurry up because they were going to close now! I am all about supporting a family owed business, but I’m guessing that both of the Asian ladies are the owners, and have never had proper training on how to treat their customers. Specially people of a different race or color. (Yes i do mean black people)

I ordered 2 Crunchy Rolls to go and when I got home and topped the rolls off with the eel sauce it was very sour/salty and did not taste good at all. I called to explain I was not satisfied with the food and would like to exchange it or get a refund and they did not even Attempt to accommodate us. The employee I spoke to was giggling and being very unprofessional. I am a long time customer and this is unacceptable. It is unfortunate that they do not care about customer service. When our sushi came my brother reached over to try the sushi I ordered and the waitress came speed walking from across the room even scared my brother (his back was turned to her) to see what he was doing, she pretended to be serving water from the pitcher sitting in front of us on the table. Oh yeah the all you can eat comes with an old Chinese lady that will be staring at you with an angry face and have the waitress come back to report to her what you’ve ordered and roll her eyes every time she sees you order another sushi roll. Lol and that 9.99 deal it’s a lie $25 per person for the all you can eat. Should to be a sushi place with better service open in San Pedro.

We are from Canada coming to Los Angelos for a cruise . We went to Shushi 21 for Lunch and we ordered 2 seafood ramen $15 each . It was the worst ramen I ever had . It’s only instant noodles with frozen seafood medley. Which is very tiny shrimps and small cut squid that’s all ! What made us very pissed was we felt scammed by this restaurant because it made us pay 18% tips without asking our consent and was charged on the bill . So I asked the waitress why we didn’t get to pick how many % of tips we wanted to give . She replied it was every where in the US we charge customers 18% tips . What a liar ! But my husband was too scared to argue with them and he wanted to leave that hell place ! Don’t ever go there ! The food is bad and they scam customers for tips !!!

The food was middle class. It was not worth $42 per person. Also, the woman who worked there was extremely racist towards my girlfriend, and was giving us the side eye every two seconds . Chased us out the restaurant because she wanted higher than 20% tip!

Horrible experience. Both me and my nine year old went to this place for lunch. Once we were ready to order, I requested the all you can eat and a few pieces of sushi for my child who is small. The waitress refused to allow us to order individual pieces for my child unless it was the all you can eat for adults. This is obviously a ridicules business model and we will not be returning to this establishment again.

Waiters which is an Asian lady was rude! Don’t recommend any of the sushi rolls ! Don’t go for the all you can eat ! Most sushi rolls are overfilled with rice and imitation crab. The ramen was a joke, literally instant ramen. Not pleasant visit !

We are from Canada coming to Los Angelos for a cruise . We went to Shushi 21 for Lunch and we ordered 2 seafood ramen $15 each . It was the worst ramen I ever had . It’s only instant noodles with frozen seafood medley. Which is very tiny shrimps and small cut squid that’s all ! What made us very pissed was we felt scammed by this restaurant because it made us pay 18% tips without asking our consent and was charged on the bill . So I asked the waitress why we didn’t get to pick how many % of tips we wanted to give . She replied it was every where in the US we charge customers 18% tips . What a liar ! But my husband was too scared to argue with them and he wanted to leave that hell place ! Don’t ever go there ! The food is bad and they scam customers for tips !!!

What happened to this place? Tonight, the adults were all getting all-you-can eat, my daughter only wanted soup. They wouldn’t allow us to just order soup for her. She would also have to get $35 all-you-can-eat to be part of our table.
