I was here for a quick work business meeting lunch , awesome place for lunch. Juan at the front was very polite, very friendly upon greeting me. They have a great outdoor patio as well if you wanna catch some sun. Didn’t have too much trouble finding parking either since this place is right across from the parking garage.

Urban Plates is a solid spot for fresh, tasty food with lots of good options. Everything I’ve tried has been really flavorful, and the place has a chill, clean vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your meal. Shoutout to Dayana at the register she was super friendly and helpful, and made ordering quick and easy. Little things like great customer service really make a difference. You place your order, take a number, and then watch as your meal is brought right to you. You’ll get your own silverware, and you can carry your drinks to your table, making it feel comfortable and relaxed. No matter what, the food is always, always excellent. I haven’t been here in years and forgot how great it is for a nice quick dinner. I ordered the chicken med bowl w/ beets & goat cheese and for the price it was solid. Food was fresh and service was quick. Def will start coming back here more often.

Urban Plates comes off like “healthy meets casual cafeteria,” and in many ways that’s its vibe, in a good way. You grab a tray, move through stations, pick your protein, sides, salad, etc. Urban Plates is a reliable spot when you want something better than fast food but still casual and quick. It’s not “chef-level,” but it’s got heart and intention. If you care about ingredients, flavor, and portion over frills, it’s worth a try. The Mediterranean chicken bowl and the Cowgirl Cookie are fire 🔥 PS ask for David and Jose. Great customer service all around!

This Urban Plates has a lovely atmosphere and seems to be quite clean. There is an outside patio which is perfect if you have a dog. Service from David at the register was welcoming and efficient. I ordered the Chicken Tortilla soup with a side Caesar salad. The soup and salad were delicious. It was a great portion for a light dinner. The dragonfruit strawberry replenished was very refreshing, and I would recommend it. They offered dragonfruit replenished samplings, but I already had it! 😅 I recommend dining here at Urban Plates.

Cashier David was very friendly, welcoming, and patient. He had a great attitude. Ordered a grass-fed grilled steak with steamed broccoli and fries. It’s hard to find a steak that is well seasoned and cooked well done without being dry, but I was very pleasantly surprised with how well seasoned it was and how tender it was. Fries tasted great and were cooked perfectly. Broccoli wasn’t over cooked or undercooked, which I also have a hard time finding at restaurants. Bread on the side was nice and crispy too. The chocolate chip cookies was chewy and perfectly sweet. Atmosphere was cozy and well decorated. Service was very quick. This was only my second time eating Urban Plates but I will definitely be back.

I usually love everything urban plates. I’m a huge fan of their broccolini, beet salad and Mac n cheese. I ordered the grilled salmon plate at this location. The salmon was unfortunately a tad bit undercooked and the honey Dijon mustard sauce is such a bad pairing with plate. Couldn’t manage to touch the sauce. Don’t Recommend. The customer service from the cashier Xavier was excellent. He had a great attitude and smile! We ordered the grilled grass fed steak plate and the steak and shrimp plate. 0/10 for both. The grilled steak came rare and although some people eat it that way, I don’t. I asked the guy who brought it out if it was possible for them to cook it longer. He told me that they wouldn’t take it back but he could prepare a side of steak for me more thoroughly cooked. What a nice guy. At this time I still hadn’t received the side salad I ordered so I went to tell Xavier the cashier that the salad didn’t come out and I’d like that and the steak could be canceled at this point. Even though I already paid for it I just didn’t want it anymore. When I got back to my table the guy running food came over with a salad. I let him know that I just told Xavier about that salad. Oops! But surely didn’t need two salads so I said I hope you’re able to cancel it. I saw this guy talking to, a tall older man with glasses working in the back and I could see him throw his hands up in frustration. Tom decided to leave the back and come deliver the second salad himself. He approached the table and said here’s the salad you said you didn’t get then he looked at the salad I already had on the table. I apologized and tried to explain but I could tell he was upset and he said salads usually come out last. How was I suppose to know that, but okay. Fast forward I’m eating my side of mashed potatoes and I feel something thick and not very potato like IN MY MOUTH. I take it out and it’s paper. Paper in the potatoes. Tom makes his way back outside to I guess overlook the patio and I get his attention to come over. Just so I can let him know there was paper in the potatoes. He comes over after talking on his mic and before I could even get a full sentence out about the paper in my potatoes he says “that’s just how it is, that’s the receipt that’s usually on the side of the plate” he kept cutting me off to say this and also asked what i wanted him to do about it. I expressed to him that I didn’t want anything extra and the paper wasn’t just on the side it was IN MY MOUTH which means it was mixed into the potatoes. Tom isn’t a great listener and he’s not very friendly. The shrimp was undercooked. This place wasn’t a good experience outside of the house salad. I would NOT recommend this place anyone.
