Vess roast is the best of the 3 self serve coffee blends. Came from Canada and will be back! Huge portions, great value and excellent service. Outdoor and indoor seating. Wheelchair accessible. Free street parking. I asked for dairy free breakfast. Almond milk available. Lovely decor. Yummy!
This is my 1st time visiting here after the whole shutdown, let me just say “amazing food” we came here to celebrate my sister’s bday. The front looks super cute and the back patio got a makeover!! Flowers and a little waterfall. Everyone is super sweet, definitely COVID compliance. Everyone was wearing masks and they provided hand sanitizer bottles in each tables. We are definitely coming back ♥️👌🏽
The coffee here is absolutely amazing! ☕ The shop closes at 5:00 p.m., but I came in around 4:15 p.m. and had a meal at the restaurant. Even though it was close to closing time, the male server was incredibly kind and welcoming. I really appreciated his warm attitude. The French fries were also outstanding! 🍟 The sauce tasted like guacamole with a hint of cilantro and a touch of spiciness — it was so delicious and perfectly matched the fries. I’d love to come back tomorrow morning for another cup. The coffee was just the way I like it — dark and rich in flavor. 🌿
This place was a little hidden gem parking is limited on the public street there will be patio sitting in the back I had the french toast plate and my husband and the chilaquiles with pancakes everything was delicious I definitely will be returning
Vees Cafe West Adams Gem Tucked into the heart of West Adams, Vees Cafe is the kind of spot that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. I grabbed the Spicy Chicken Panini and a vanilla blended latte both hit the mark. The panini had a perfect kick, and the latte? Creamy, dreamy, and surprisingly light. Staff were all smiles, and the cozy, modern decor made it easy to linger. Bonus points for the garden fresh sides and generous portions. Whether you’re brunching or grabbing a quick bite, Vees delivers warmth with flavor.
Vees has the best coffee, smoothies and food! I've been a customer since they opened. Beautiful space and all the workers and staff are kind and friendly. Support this gem!!
update: August 2025 Good vibes, garden patio, and brunch all day!! Tucked away with the cutest garden patio in the back, this popular local brunch spot is a true vibe! Freshly brewed coffee + lattes to start your morning right. Breakfast served all day (the dream) The Green Beast = packed with plant protein, fresh & flavorful The Paris French Toast = a must-order fave Chilaquiles Verdes = savory perfection Carrot cake = perfectly moist, not too sweet Plus, refreshing cold-pressed juices like the Green Immunity *********************** Your next brunch spot in LA!! This is a popular local brunch spot with a lovely garden patio seating in the back! Beautiful aesthetics!! The menu has a wonderful variety of dishes. So vibrant and delicious! Breakfast all day!! I loved their freshly brewed coffee and lattes!! The Green Beast was fantastic!! The Paris French Toast is a customer favorite!! Jenny had wonderful customer service.
Found a new place to explore, everything is outstanding, staff is very friendly, professional, I do not recommend this place 100%, I was left speechless when I saw the bill
I was in the area and randomly found this spot. I walked in and ordered for Togo. The customer service was good! The food was good & flavorful. I am a mint person so I had the mint lemonade it was delicious! The strawberry & banana smoothie was good! I will be back when I’m in the area!
The food is fresh and 😋 delicious! The coffee ☕️ is 🤮 yucky order tea instead. The customer service was not warm and inviting even after I disclosed that it was my first visit. Team members definitely need customer retention training. Fortunately, the food is so yummy 😋 I will bypass the lackluster customer experience by ordering my food to go!
Tired of working from home? ..this is another decent place with FREE WIFI. Can't believe there's a very lovely hidden GEM behind this typical looking cafe!! I love the waterfall, this warm vibes, flowers, cute tables and chairs, etc.. make sure to check out their backyard. This place serves all-day breakfast, with diversify and healthy choices. OMG I LOVE EVERYTHING I ORDERED!! The menu is pretty customizable too because the kitchen was right there behind the counter. Try these amazing plates & drink: omelette chicken salad with all fruits topping salmon sandwich with onion rings Also check out nice and warm ranges of bakery and their powered protein shake too!
Again, after the fact photos as I was crushing the food. Had 2 entirely new flavor profiles in this meal: 1. The blackberry jam had 2 components, blackberries and love. Super tasty hadn't had that flavor of jam before. 5/5 stars. 2. The Verde sauce on the Chiliesquilas was exceptional. Never had a flavor profile like that. Definitely go back for 2nds. Also, they have a variety of bespoke coffee blends.
We came in on a rainy day and found that it was an open cafe. But if you are wearing a good jacket, it’s not a problem! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. And the food: Amaazing. We liked everything we ordered. Highlight to the camote potato fries that you can choose on the side with the sandwich, they were at their perfect point! Crunchy and light. And all the fruit we ate was fresh. The environment and music was very nice too. Congratulations to this local cafe, highly recommended🌟
Very delicious food, hand made drinks are good. They have a great patio on the back, you have to go through the kitchen. Great place I celebrated my birthday there, had brunch with my family 🎉

Food was good, serving size was large. Recommend for simple breakfast
Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed Vee’s Cafe. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was really good. The thing we really noticed was the wonderful customer service. It was really nice having people ask if we were okay, when at many other places people rarely ask. It was definitely on the pricey side for a brunch spot, totaling almost $63 before tip. However, the steak panini was genuinely one of the best I have ever tried. Everything blends really well and was definitely a highlight of the trip. The drinks were really good as well the pink lemonade and chai tea were delicious. The atmosphere is also really pretty and relaxing we loved it! We definitely be going back here again.
The food was delicious. The servers don’t speak English it’s heard to communicate we didn’t know we had to order on the phone, or get our own water 🤷🏽♀️. We set there a while as others came in and had ordered… The atmosphere is beautiful.
Very nice place, came here to get breakfast and it was alright, Avocado Toast is $16 around there and if you wanna get a good breakfast is $20, Menu pictures says that is worth $13 bur it isn't, so keep in mind that these is not a cheap place to go and get breakfast, My quesadillas were $14 if I'm not mistaken, anyways, it was a nice place, we liked it, nice environment, lady at front was nice, we liked it
We stopped in this morning for our first time for Sunday brunch. They have indoor seating near the registers, outdoor dining in front of the restaurant, and they have a covered patio in the back of the restaurant, which is where we sat, and I would suggest. Parking in this area can be difficult depending on the day and time. However, we were able to find parking a a block away for a 10:30 AM Sunday brunch. It’s the sort of place that you order at the counter and then they bring it to you. They don’t have a lot of options on the menu, but still some solid choices. I started with a Caramel Latte. I ordered an iced latte, but they brought me a hot one, but I just went with it because both are good to me. We both chose the Classic American Breakfast and it was solid for us both. The pancakes were a bit small and dry, but still tasty. The only issue that we had was the service was extremely slow. It took a long time for our food to come out and even people that ordered after us got their food before us. Also, we ordered iced teas but they brought Arnold Palmers. We also tried the pastries and thought both were pretty good, however, the croissant did not taste as fresh as I like it to be. Overall a good breakfast, but I am holding back a star due to the minor errors and service speed.
We were staying near LA airport for a night and were looking for a breakfast place with vegetarian options and we stumbled upon this place. The place was not in any popular neighbourhood. But the food they served us was very good. The staff was friends and accommodating our customisations to the order.

Cute spot kind of in the middle of nowhere. I got the Chipotle shrimp panini and a Cafe au lait (total $17.49) Service was good. Really nice waitresses. Music was low(you can read here if you’re able to have low background music). The interior is nice. Reminds me a little of a Cuban coffee house. I didn’t like the posters of the food on the walls. I would’ve preferred art or photography because duh your food is good that’s why we came in. Also, there is terrible view because the windows are covered by posters. That was weird. Besides that, cute small spot with good food you can read at.
Horrible pancakes. Pre made then reheated resulting in something dry, dense and really disappointing. Definitely not fluffy. Eggs and potatoes were good. I enjoyed the coffee. My hotel concierge said get the burrito next time.
Cute place, friendly staff- I really wanted to like this place, but I can’t. While the staff is friendly, the service takes forever. There were 3 tables (4 people tops) eating including us and it took almost an hour for food. My wife and I ordered the “side of waffles” for $10.50 to split. We were both shocked that we received half a waffle…. What did they do with the other half?? Food and juice is fresh, but the prices are far from justifiable.
I used to love their waffles!!! They were soft and fluffy, however this morning I had one of the worst tasting waffles ever. I asked if they had change their recipe or something. They said it was a new machine. Please check your machine and make waffles great again. The ones I had this morning were hard and burned. I should of ask for my money back. Seriously.
Very poor customer service here. I placed my order through my phone which then they brought the food to my table. Although the process was very easy and fast they need to check their website because according to our server they didn’t have anymore orange juice. I had order two orange juices in the website which never stated that it wasn’t available to purchase. So basically I waited and waited and nobody came to let me know about my orange juice. It would have been nice if they paid attention to my order. I spoke to two servers for them to just tell me oh the oranges are bad but we made you the juices.I basically finished my food without anything to drink. Very unpleasant visit definitely will not be returning and this coming from a local neighbor.
Great Food, but TERRIBLE Service. I have a large social media following and I highlight small businesses in LA, I had planned to record a video of this cute place, but I did not due to the treatment I received. This was my first time coming to this place and upon walking in no one greeted me. I walked to the register and asked the lady with the blonde hair and glasses for a menu she said you can seat yourself and scan the menu. She pointed to the back and said there were more tables back there. I sat down for about 10 min not one person came to check on me or greet me (I was also the only person in the building) I looked at the menu and saw something I wanted but it had an ingredient I'm allergic too so I waited for a waitress before ordering to ask if they could remove it but no one ever came. I got up walked to the front and asked the same lady she said "did you order and pay yet"? I said no because I didn't know if they could remove the mushrooms, she told me to order and she'll tell the kitchen. I went back to my table and still not one person check on me. They have self serve water that doesn't look fresh in the back. My food came someone put it on the table and walked away still didn't ask me what I wanted. I saw two young Latino girls being walked to their table by the same lady, she brought them napkins and utensils, and asked them if she could help them. I wondered why I didn't get that same service. She checked on them several times, but the last time I waited for her to come ask if I needed anything and she didn't. I called her over and asked for a to go box and to go cup she didn't stop to listen to me she just kept walking and said I'll bring it. I waited another 10 min and she never brought it, I said to myself forget it I'll just leave. As I'm walking out she's at the from texting on her phone, I jokingly said "you forgot about me" and she said sorry I was on the phone. It suck's because this place is so cute, and the food it amazing, but the customer service was terrible especially for a coffee and burritos that cost $25.00. I hope it wasn't a race thing, but I can't help but this it was being that she was so polite and attentive to the two ladies who came in after me.
Came back after a while only to realize i will never ever be back again. It’s a really nice close to me but the service is terrible! My mom and I had to wait for OVER 1 hour for our food. Their excuse was that there was a system error and the kitchen never received the order but they saw us at the table with nothing on our table for 1 Hour and never bothered to ask. After bringing our food all they said was sorry and didn’t give anything extra as a courtesy for the wait or anything. Don’t ever go here
Heard it was a good place to eat. Was ignored by waitress. She checked on every customer and blatantly skipped over us. Could it be our skin tone? We were very disappointed!
Horrible experience ! The online system automatically adds extras and you have to go back and take them off !! Tried explaining that to the people working at the front and was met with attitude and sarcasm. At the end they gave me my order and two of the dishes had hair in it! It sucks that the restaurant itself is pretty but the customer service and ordering system ruins it. Just be ready to pay for ridiculously overpriced meals when coming here.
So now it’s five days since my friend and I tried to have lunch there and they never brought me the food so we had no choice but to cancel our order and leave and request a refund. They told us it would take three days for the manager to approve and refund us. Nothing has happened 5 days later. I was told the manager would be in today so I just called. Here’s what happened: A girl who clearly does not speak English answers the phone ( why would you allow a non-English speaker to answer your business calls ?!) and says manager is not in till tomorrow … I beg to differ, she asks me to speak Spanish … “no, I speak English!” We live in America and speak English! She then put me on hold for over 12 minutes hoping I’ll just give up and go away. Finally, she or someone comes back to the phone and hangs up on me. Terrible business practices! My friend and I are both furious and disgusted. And we feel cheated. Is bad enough that their food is massively overpriced for what it is and its location. They are charging generic Café food for fancy hotel prices Next, it’s to the Better Business Bureau! #epicfail
I’ve been coming to Vees for a very long time. I know it gets pretty busy so I wasn’t surprised today on Mother’s Day that it was going to be even more. The staff/employees are nice but my complaint today is in regards to the food and service. Management has to do a better job in training their employees , because they look like they don’t know what they’re doing. Every time they came out of the kitchen. They didn’t know which order belong to whom. They were completely lost! The waiter was going table to table and asking customers if they ordered this, if they ordered that, if this belong to this person. I came with my family, and I ordered two garden burritos with two sides of sweet potato fries, and one kids French toast meal, and one Paris French toast with two orange juices and one vanilla latte iced with a side of almond croissant. I only Received 7/10 of my order. The waiter came to our table 3 TIMES and asked us if we are missing anything and we repeatedly told her we are missing two orange juices and our almond croissant. She kept saying she’ll bring them and never did. When we received our garden burrito it looked so thin. This was not considered a burrito to me, it was more of a taco. Inside our burrito it only had a few onions and mushrooms, eggs, and a few leaves of spinach, when it’s also supposed to have bell peppers and broccoli. Very disappointing considering the price I paid for and received a miserably looking “burrito”. But not only did this ruin my whole experience, but as shown below in the pictures I provided, I order my daughter a kids French toast meal and I specifically asked NOT to add sugar on the French toast and also asked for the eggs to be sunny side up and WELL DONE. They completely ignored my request and my daughter did not eat it. I knew if I asked for them to redo it, it was going to take another 30min to 1 HOUR, so I told my daughter to just eat it and unfortunately she did not like it and almost threw up when she tried the eggs. She hates when her eggs are runny and not well done. She did not touch her plate and was overwhelmed. I asked for a refund and they granted me it but not a lovely experience so definitely DO NOT recommend to come here, just go elsewhere. It’s super expensive and not worth it.

This place became a dump. Over $20 per person for simple breakfast. Big red flag is there are no prices on the menu (because they keep increasing the prices). 3% credit card fee. No physical menus. Parking is a nightmare. I used to come here, but I will not be coming again!
Food quality has gone WAY down while the prices have gone WAY up. $60+ for two Chicken sandwiches and two smoothies???? It used to be way cheaper but ever since the area has gotten more and more gentrified, they're upping the prices and taking shortcuts with the food. The first ever time that I got my food and thought to myself "I couldve just made this at home". Genuinely would've spend less on all the ingredients than what I paid for the meal. Near 10 minute wait when trying to call to place and order for pick up, we got there before they came back to us, they just leave you hanging there, then a ridiculous wait time for food, and the price is disgusting for what you get. Used to love this place but definitely the last time I ever go near the place to waste my money.
