This place is so good! Cute intimate breakfast diner with indoor and outdoor tables or the option to sit at the bar. Breakfast burrito is enough for two, but it is stuffed with eggs and chorizo wrapped in a chewy delicious tortilla and served with crisped potatoes and beans. I'm so glad I stopped here. A gem!

Small coffee shop but food and service is great. Fast service. Food potion is big. Every meal is not greasy and salty. Serve great coffee. Highly recommended.

Always good service, friendly staff, great tasting food, and a decent price. Had breakfast here a few times and I'll keep coming back for they remain consistent. I love the George's scramble and a side of sourdough toast. They have great juices there as well. If you are in the area and want a filling meal, stop in and give them a try. We went today for the first time and it was great. the service, the food, everything was delicious and wonderful. The only thing I would have changed is the type of the fries, I would like it to be thinner and more crispy. It's a great place, I can't wait to come back.

Great spot in Los Gatos for breakfast and lunch was in the area for work and google suggested this place to me thanks google. I ordered the steak and eggs 🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚 it looks like 6 eggs where used for my plate steak was cooked to order hashbrowns were perfectly cooked was not able to finish the coffee cake that came with my breakfast

Walk in for breakfast before I head to the job site. Homey feeling,small restaurant. Good coffee, waitress constantly fill it up, also filled up my water too. Definitely will come here again. I got the blueberry ricotta pancake....it's smaaaackin.

This is a little hole in the wall. Their food is very good little pricey, but the coffee was fabulous. It was farmer brothers dark roast. I would even come back just for the coffee.It was so good. Will Lous coffee shop has changed their coffee, they no longer have farmer brothers, which is very disappointing. I went there this morning and was told not too long ago they changed. Probably won't be returning. My waitress was very sweet.

Lou's Coffee Shop is our favorite spot for brunch and breakfast. It's a great local diner with a talented chef and fresh food. The menu has many options, and the kids love their pancakes. The omelets are huge and come with lots of tasty toppings. Their coffee cake is amazing!

OMG! STOP here! We had surf and turf eggs Benedict with hash browns and it was AMAZING!!! Eggs cooked perfectly, crispy hash browns you don't even have to ask for because they know how to cook them and mimosas. Need I say more? Ok. Bloody Marys. Chef's 😘. They deserve a Michelin star!

A proud neighhood eatery with a large selection of generous brunch offerings, Lou's seems to be south of the border firstly, but also features plenty of Americana, even Portuguese linguiça, French Cordon Bleu, etc. The homemade crabcake is made from fresh crabs and without a lot of filler, a rarity nowadays. Poached eggs in the Benedicts are perfect (med rare?). The country potatoes have a nice touch w green peppers. If you bring a dog and are relegted to the outdoor sidewalk, the atmosphere is decidedly, well, pedestrian.

Passing through Los Gatos today and happened to find Lou's. Good food, if it was near home it would be a regular stop. It's a small place and the sign in list is just inside the door to your left. The food came out fast. All the food was appealing to the eye, and tasted good.

Ordered online the night before. Was supposed to be ready for pickup at 7:30. I arrived at 7:23 & it was ready to go. The food was good, the food was still hot & we received everything on our order & utensils (you wouldn't believe how often we DON'T get utensils with our orders). Girl who waited on me greeted me as soon as I came in, asked if I needed a drink carrier & wished me a wonderful day...very friendly.

Great little spot for breakfast/brunch. There was a short waitlist on Sunday around 10am but we were in soon enough. Friendly staff. Extensive menu and great tasting food. The eggs we had were a little on the cold side by the time they came out but everything else was delicious and cooked to perfection!

Recommend the garbage plate.

Got the Joe’s scramble. I’ve definitely had better at other breakfast places. Had to wait a while for the check even though it wasn’t very busy compared to when we arrived. Would try again if in the area, but just wasn’t super impressed.

I have been a regular at this establishment for quite some time, and the staff knows me by name. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have fallen short of expectations. While one server consistently provides exceptional service a woman with greenish hazel eyes she checks on me frequently, another has shown a concerning lack of attentiveness; (short black hair) I often find myself having to fetch creamer and request coffee refills, bill etc. During my latest visit, I encountered an unacceptable issue—a hair was in my food as soon as the plate was placed in front of me. I immediately informed the waitress, who took the plate back to the kitchen. To my dismay, instead of preparing a fresh dish, the kitchen simply returned the same plate, minus the hair. This is not only disappointing but also highlights a lack of care in food preparation when the meal was served cold. As a loyal customer who always tips generously, I expect higher standards for both service and quality. I should have canceled my order in that moment, but I hoped they would rectify the situation. Overall, I left quite disappointed. While I have refrained from giving positive reviews because I value honesty—acknowledging that the food has often been merely average—I was willing to overlook certain shortcomings due to the outstanding service from one particular waitress. However, the inconsistency in the kitchen and the recent decline in service have made it clear that I can no longer justify the expense. I genuinely hope they can improve their standards moving forward.

We visited Lou's today, having been told in the past that this was a nice place to dine. That could not have been more untrue; quite the opposite. Perhaps a new owner took over at some point, and the place has now become substandard. When my party and I entered the restaurant, we noticed three staff members chatting with each other near a table at the back. They saw us but continued to chat without acknowledging us. Eventually, one of them approached us and directed us to a small table in a dark corner. When we asked to sit at a more desirable table, she agreed, and we were seated there. We were not welcomed into the restaurant; instead, menus were left on the table, and the employee walked away, never asking if we wanted anything to drink, etc. After that, we waited about 15 minutes before someone came by to take our order; as the minutes ticked by, we talked about leaving rather than staying to dine there. In the meantime, we watched various employees standing near the kitchen or chatting with others before someone finally came over to take our order. The server, having taken our order, took off without allowing us to place a beverage order. So we waited yet again before being allowed to order drinks. It should be noted that after we were finally served our iced tea, there was a point when we requested a refill, but that never happened. We tried to flag someone down, our server or the busboy, but we were rebuffed. After a few minutes, our drinks arrived, followed by our food. However, the two side dishes we ordered were not brought to the table simultaneously. When I inquired about the missing side order of toast, the server seemed annoyed. When the toast finally showed up, it was only half-toasted; one half of each bread slice was toasted, while the other half was untoasted white bread. The ham and cheese omelet was unlike any I've had, as the cheese was placed on top (two thin slices of American cheese) of the omelet rather than being placed inside. The little ham inside lacked flavor, resulting in a bland experience. As requested, the hash browns were crispy but lacked discernible flavor and were oddly shaped like a perfect rectangle. My wife ordered a side of pico de gallo, composed of mostly diced pieces of tomato, which was basically flavorless. To sum it up, our food lacked flavor, and the service was inattentive and lazy. Many restaurants in our area offer the same type of menu, restaurants where we are treated well and attentively, and the food is good. We won't be returning to this place.

Highly over rated. My corned beef hash tasted more like ham and there was no egg The sour dough bread was very hard. Pass on this one
