Opinions de Zona Rosa Los Gatos
Really great ambiance and very nice servers. The cocktails are out of this world excellent - we had a black margarita and a farmarita. The tacos 🌮 platter I had was quite good. The chips I got for an appetizer were a bit greasy for my taste, but still I ate them. 😂 I would definitely come back again.
This is adorable. Brick interior. Open and fairly naturally lit. It’s in the cutest part Los Gatos. Enchilada mole. It was great, not the best I’ve had. Esquites was great, not too wet. Tacos are basically street tacos and they’re good. Prices also decent though.
Wow! Everything we had was exceptional. A tad on the pricey side but worth every penny. The ceviche was incredible, the pablano goat cheese appetizer was insane, and salmon tacos were outstanding. Atmosphere is warm and friendly, and service was great. Loved our lunch here.
Founding and Establishment: Zona Rosa was established in 2012 by owner Alvaro Alvarez. He expanded the business to Los Gatos in 2023. His goal was to offer a modern take on Mexican cuisine, emphasizing fresh, handmade dishes and innovative flavors while staying rooted in traditional tastes. Operating as a scratch kitchen, Zona Rosa prides itself on crafting every dish by hand, from salsas to tortillas. The menu includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options alongside classic dishes. Signature items include highly regarded tacos, such as blackened salmon tacos and tostadas atun ahi (ahi tuna), and handcrafted cocktails like hibiscus margaritas.
Had the superb guacamole with bacon, then the always great Pollo Enchiladas Mole. Along with a tasty lager! Service was great, as always!
Loooooved loved the tacos! We got chicken and beef and they were both delish!!! The guacamole was amazing!! The salsa/sauces were so spicy which I loved since I asked for them! 😄 The chef was so lovely and the service was great.
Though small, but kind of cute. Music was a bit to loud and made conversations a bit difficult. Nevertheless, really enjoy all the dish. The soup was flavorful, with tender chicken pieces. The shrimp chivche was refreshing and light. The scallops taco had a delicious sauce and the scallops coating tasted good. A very enjoyable meal.
Small seating inside. Good quality food, a bit pricy but good quality. A bit more quantity would make it perfect. Had Shrimp Tempura Tacos and which I liked better then Salman tacos which were great as well. Chips n salsa was a good choice for appetizers. Whole fried fish was okay.
Cute Mexican place in Los Gatos downtown, with good food, great service and overall nice vibe! Our second time here, and equally fun both times. Nice looking plates, with a lot of flavor. Our server was fantastic and made the whole experience feel that much better.

This is a great place to eat fresh and delicious tacos. I had steak and salmon. The tacos come in a fresh homemade tortilla, good size, and very flavorful. Both steak and salmon were cooked just right. Did not try any drink but they looked very good and refreshing. It seems that there might be other locations but this one in Los Gatos was very good, service staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend and will come back.
Limited menu of high quality foods with a focus on tacos. Great place for a snack. The service is good but can get a little slow when an unexpected crowd shows up. It's a bit loud inside with music and no soft surfaces. I particularly like the relleno (not your typical cheese with egg batter), the freshly made blue corn tortillas, and the esquites. Oh, and the blood-orange jalapeno soda is incredible too. If you like eating outside, the tables are covered and comfortable.
this is a fabulous affordable charming spot wow . the soup is amazing the crab ceviche apps are the best in all my 60 years dining out all over the place even in Europe . would recommend!! They were recently featured on Check Please Bay Area! Anna is the owner . wow does she and her expertly trained staff really know how to pack a punch for hungry guests indeed. Even the take out experience is flawless. 5 stars minimum

Great location, pretty good food. Very pleasant outdoor seating. Took a while to be seated but we were able to get a table Saturday night without reservations, so major plus! We tried the guacamole. The chips were pretty oily, the guacamole was good, but not very tasty and a bit too mushy. The tortilla soup was very hearty and flavorful. Prefect for a meal. The enchilada was tasty and a good portion.
Good tacos (i recommend Pedro’s tacos on the same street more). Good cocktail options and amazing starters. Not suggesting enchilada.
We visited Zona Rosa with two adults and three kids aged 8-10. Everyone enjoyed it immensely. The proteins (chicken, shrimp, salmon) were incredibly fresh and flavorful. We had a simple dish of two tacos each, but the freshness and flavor stood out. The three salsas were unique in taste, especially the light red one, which had a very smoky flavor.
The tacos and service are both above average. The place is a tasteful mixture of cozy and rustic. Prices offer a good value for portion, and taste quality. I look forward to returning soon for some more savory breaded chicken on a handcrafted corn tortilla.

Great tasting Verudas. Other people in our group liked their dishes as well. As far as beer offerings go, they carry only a single unknown brand in a can. The restaurant is small & cozy. However, it was somewhat cold, so we kept our jackets on.

I wanted to love it but it had like minimum options for vegetarians They did not even give us big plates for the main course (it was 45 mins before closing so I’m not sure at other times) Guac was average Taco and enchiladas were 6/10 Better vegetarian options required

50 minutes before food arrived. One person’s dish was cold and lacked any flavor. (Mushroom tacos) Asked for salt and had to get up to retrieve it. Drinks are strong and good but this was a really poor experience compared to what I remembered from previous visits.

Terrible experience. We ordered the taqiitos , bass taco Both were very dry and there was no spice nor any flavor to them. Extremely bland. We got the pollo enchilada. Same again , very bland and there’s no texture too. We asked for some salsa to make up for the spice and dry food, they charged for salsa as well! Finally we thought they could not go wrong in the dessert. And we found a piece of paper in the pumpkin fritters. Please avoid!

This is the worst restaurant in Los Gatos. They treat you like crap in favor for their white customers, they claim to be a "Mexican" restaurant but ignore their Mexican customers. I'll give it to them the food amazing, but that's about it. We were ignored for 30 minutes while the staff stood around and chit chatted. We then get served with water after those 30 minutes and asked if we would like to place an order. A drink was forgotten and the service was less than satisfactory, if I could I would give this place a 0 but I can't so they get a 1. Maybe if they treated people better and had some common decency and respect they would be better.
