Where does the elder millennial go after browsing the holiday cooking magazines at Barnes & Noble? Where does this half-starved soul end up when she is nostalgic for the mid-2000s, and longing for the glow of buttery lounge lighting? Probably Bonefish Grill. At least that’s where this one did. And it was a delicious indulgence. Sydney, my waiter, expertly guided me through the menu. I selected the rainbow trout, paired with potatoes au gratin and asparagus. Sydney, a connoisseur of fine crust (and crustaceans), made my experience nothing less than off the hook. And he will do the same for you. So if you are craving comfort and familiarity, come home to Bonefish Grill. It was, and is, an important part of all of our lives.

We just finished the best dinner. We had the Chilean sea bass. Everything was perfect. Terrence, our waiter, was fantastic. Great service, and a very personable gentleman. Highly recommend

Some friends and I came in for a quick bite, without realizing it was martini Monday and that they were only $5 (what a pleasant surprise!). The winter white cosmo was particularly delicious. Sarah was our fantastic and friendly server. We will be back!

Went here the other day and had a fantastic dinner! Enjoyed the Sashimi to start and a Chimichurri Bistro Filet for dinner. Everything was perfectly prepared and had fantastic flavor. Highly recommend these dishes! To top it all off, the delightful manager Brittany stopped by to check in on me and my experience. Definitely suggest you stop here, and I will be back!

This place has become my favorite restaurant over the years. I’ve been coming here basically every week for almost 4 years it is the absolute best value for your money. The food and service you get is competing with $100 per plate establishments and you can easily eat well drinks and an appetizer included for roughly $50 per person. Unreal. This most recent time Sydney was our server and he delivered unparalleled professionalism and a sense of real personality in his style of laid back hospitality. Nothing was forced through a smile which is a refreshing feeling at a higher end dining establishment. Food and drinks were great and always make sure you get the Bang Bang shrimp. They’re known for it for a reason !! 10/10 recommend to all who have never visited.

We had the best experience coming in this Friday! Even though the place was packed, our server Sarah gave us the absolute best service. She helped us with the menu and even gave us ideas for other sights to see while we were in town. We will definitely be back to visit on our next trip to enjoy more delicious food!

I had great experience today with the bartender Terrance I was feeling down. With his warm and beautiful friendly smile And uplifting personality he helped turn my day around. My family and I have eaten here several times now. Every time we have gone, our server Tiffany has made us feel like family. Members of management follow up and ensure the experience is outstanding every time. My son is a picky eater, so I am grateful they have options that he will eat on the menu as well. I suggest that if you are reading this, swing on by and check it out.

I had the pleasure of attending the Wicked Good Cocktails Straight from Oz Four Course Pairing dinner. I had a phenomenal experience, received exceptional customer service from the staff, and the ambiance and decor for this event were outstanding. I enjoyed all the courses and cocktails from this special event and the excellent selection choices for door prizes.This event was orchestrated and well done, kudos to the planning committee and staff! I look forward to attending future events at this restaurant!

Had a very enjoyable time here. I want to give a thank you to Sarah for being very attentive. We held the table a little longer than typical but she made sure to keep the drinks full and provide a desert menu to keep us happy. The Riesling was very good.

Me and the ladies came for “Wicked for Good” night. When I tell you the drinks, food and service was “on point”!! I can’t wait until the next event. The ambiance was fun, the food and drink pairing was spot on and the staff was amazing. They gave out door prizes in between our 4-course meal. Such a great experience☺️

Get the Blueberry lemon drop Martini. You will not be disappointed!!! Me and my friends come to bonefish at least once a month for these cocktails. Food and appetizers have always been great!

Sarah was awesome! She recommended the Bang Bang Shrimp and wow — it did not disappoint. Seriously one of the best things I’ve had in a while. She also helped me pick out the pumpkin crème brûlée for dessert, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Super friendly and chill service too. Thanks for the great rec, Sarah!

My family and I ate here tonight. First, the place feels more upscale than I expected. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. All of our meals came out in a timely fashion. Everything was fresh, and hot. 10/10 will visit again.

We have eaten at Bonefish Grill multiple times and always request McKinley to be our server. He is knowledgeable about the menu, gives wonderful suggestions of appetizers. entrees ,and desserts to try. McKinley is attentive to our tables needs and friendly too. We love the Bang-Bang Shrimp for an appetizer, the salmon and cheeseburger is amazing and the chocolate crème brûlée for dessert is so yummy! Great place for a date night or a girls night out.

Our server, Lauren was very personable and friendly. She greeted us and served our meal like a longtime friend. The appetizer, meal and dessert were all perfectly prepared and delicious.

Syndey was awesome! We had never been to Bonefish before and he explained things really well and was very catering. He hooked us up with desert for our anniversary and took our photo afterwards. Refills kept coming and he was very good about checking on us. Highly recommend asking for Syndey as your server!

My husband and I had a spectacular dinner at Bonefish Grill. Our server, Christopher, was the best!! He was very engaging and so helpful in deciding what to order. He genuinely seemed to care how our evening was going and wanted to ensure we enjoyed every moment!! He is, by far, the best server we have ever had. Be sure to ask for him when you go.

Had a wonderful experience here! I usally don't write reviews but thought I needed to give some kudos where it's due. The staff here went above and beyond. It was my friend's birthday and they were just wonderful to her! We had a nice chat with the manager Amy and she made sure we had everything we needed and had a great night.

Went Friday night and had such a great experience! Sarah was our server and she was attentive, funny, and made us feel completely taken care of. The sashimi appetizer and angler special were both delicious. If you go, ask for Sarah! She’s the best! Highly recommend!!

Brittany and McKinley took care of us and we had a very delicious lunch. Made sure we were good every 15-30 mins. Food was so fresh my mouth watered. If you get the bang bang shrimp it will not disappoint you. Very clean and the vibe was just right. I’ll definitely be back to visit Brittany and McKinley. They won’t disappoint either. Great food and atmosphere but unfortunelty the service was lacking. Hopefully this was a one off because we had heard all good things. Hostess was lacking, we were seated 10-15 minutes before anyone came to introduce themselves to us, and our drinks sat empty. We were certainly expecting better. Mahi Mahi with mango salsa, the filet, and the crabcake were delicious but would not recommend the bourbon chocolate cake. We just weren't fans of the texture of the cake or ice cream.

The server brought out bread & drinks right away. Coffee did not taste good and served w/ milk, not cream. Appetizer was 2 tasty crab cakes. Entrees were Fish & Chips Requests for crispy fries with no salt were perfect ! Cod w/tempura batter was delicious. All food came out hot, server could have kept up with filling drinks better.

Decent enough food for a chain restaurant, but on the pricey side. I would personally choose a local-owned, non-chain restaurant over Bonefish, but it was our daughter's birthday dinner choice and she was very happy with dining here. Thanks to the restaurant for the slice of cheesecake for her birthday!

Had a great experience. We had the dinner for two. Went with my parents and they had dinner for two. The only issue that we had is that we found a bracelet bead in one of our salads. But the food was fantastic.

First time. Service was amazing. Food was good. For the most part. Ordered seabass, didn't look right. Didn't taste like any seabass I've ever had. Mind you... I worked at a high end seafood restaurant for a decade. They took care of the issue. Made it right. But I wouldn't order that dish again. The tuna was a nicely prepared dish. That was quite tasty

I came to the wine event on February 19th. I have been to quite a few. This one was way to packed. Not enough help. We had to ask for our second course wine and we didnt even get our wine for dessert. Maybe rotate the white and red so you know who has received the wine. The food was absolutely delicious. Just some suggestions. Its a genius idea but work on the number of people that can attend.

The food was pretty good and loved the ambience. Martinis were good and for a good price today. No complaint there. Decided to sit at the bar and the service was very unprofessional. One bartender had an earpiece in his ear and was talking and working with it in. Another female bartender was vaping at the end of the bar and had to wait a few more minutes on my drink because she was involved on her phone. Overall a solid place but wont be sitting at the bar if i come back.

Ordered a pick up. Order was ready on time. But sides were different than what was ordered. Chilean sea bass was a bit over cooked and received green beans not asparagus that was ordered. On second entree with pork chop, had ordered red potatoes and received mashed. The side of bread was inedible. As we go to this location regularly, was disappointed.

There was 7 of us and we visited on 2/23/25 for dinner. They seated us at a table with a slant . You would think they would get better tables. The waitress was not attentive. Had to ask numerous times to refill our drinks. The food was ridiculously subpar. My risotto looked like mashed potatoes. All our food served was lukewarm. We will not be back. Would not recommend this place. Too expensive price point for mediocre food.

Extremely horrible dining experience! I arrived shortly before 9:30pm, and the restaurant closed at 10pm. The host debated for a few minutes whether he would seat me or not, asking me if I knew what I was going to order. I was dining by myself, so it was unlikely that I would be lingering to socialize after dinner. I should have told him "never mind" and left without dining, because I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome, but I stayed. My server did a decent job, but I hurried to place my order immediately, and I found myself gobbling my food down when it arrived like it were a race! I spent too much money that night at Bonefish Grill to be treated rudely and to woof it down like a burger and fries in a fast food drive-thru! Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have dined here and been treated like a third-class citizen! I keep getting lured back by some deal in an email, but I think I am just about DONE with Bonefish Grill! My recommendation is that if you are thinking of dining at Bonefish Grill in Louisville KY, DON'T! Go next door to their sister restaurant, Carrabba's Italian restaurant! The food is so much better, and THEY treat their diners with respect!!!

The aesthetic is nice, if basic. The food/price ratio is way off-balanced. I had Mahi Mahi and shrimp. My wife joked that I only got one of the Mahis. My piece of fish was the size of maybe a chicken tender with five or so shrimp. Plain rice and green beans. The green beans were my favorite part of the meal as I like them plain, crunchy and close to raw. Everyone else at the table complained about them not being cooked. Our server… well… he obviously didn’t want to be there. He was very curt. Inattentive and just going through the motions. Worst service I’ve had in a while. We had seven people. He went to one end of the table, asked if we were ready to order. We told him we needed time. He went to the other side of the table… asked if we were ready to order… uh… same table dude! We need more time. So… the prices are ridiculous for the quantity/quality of the food. Our server that night was terrible. I never want to go back. I say it every time, but my mom likes it. We go every year for her birthday.

Service was not the best although the server seemed to be very nice and attentive to everyone else in our section. Took about 10 minutes to receive waters, was not given silverware and had to ask twice for it. Portion sizes were small and steak was supposed to be medium rare and received med well/well done. Server did not come to check if food all turned out okay. First time trying here and likely will not return.

Didn't eat here but leaving a review based on the menu. Looks like a lot of the same dishes with very little changes. Needs more changes and vamping up different styles and meals. Kinda like when you're eating at home where nobody can cook different and you end up eating the same thing all the time. You're going to get bored of the food and want to eat other stuff. You want something that's good all the time but you also need more of a variety to pick from. I'm sure your food could be really good I'm not going to be able to judge food I e never ate but from the menu I can see it needs some help and some new customers to review you rather than some people who just want to be nice and enjoy the atmosphere.

I made a reservation weeks in advance and arrived on time, yet there was no table ready for my husband and I. Once we were finally seated, we waited 30 minutes without anyone taking our drink or food order. My husband had to ask the front desk if we even had a server because no one had come by. Meanwhile, guests seated near us were immediately greeted with water, bread, and prompt service. After asking for assistance, it took another five minutes for a server to approach us and there was no apology. The restaurant was not overly busy, and I counted at least five servers on the floor, so it was hard to understand the lack of attention. When we finally placed our drink, appetizer, and entrée orders, it took another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Both entrées were incorrect, and my appetizer didn’t arrive until I was nearly finished with my meal. We spent a significant amount of money for mediocre food, small portions, and extremely poor service. The tables are so close together that it’s difficult to even have a conversation. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Our Waiter was off like she’d rather be anywhere else that a black women wasn’t and didn’t give us a specials menu or even straws till our food came when we asked for them and then when our food came, my boyfriend was missing his side while his chicken was cold, but his pasta was hot and my food was completely cold. My plate was even hotter than my food so they remade it and when it came back, my steak was still cold and I had green beans on my plate that I didn’t order and they were hard. It was our 4 year anniversary and we’ve been going almost every year For special occasions and we both agreed we will not be going back.
