Crystal made our dining experience wonderful! We didn’t have to wait for drink refills and she was extremely friendly and menu knowledgeable. French onion soup was a little salty. House salad was huge and delicious! Highly recommend.

Ditto’s has been one of my go to places for myself since the late 90’s, husband for date days, and family. Keep coming back because of amazing food, crafted drinks, and atmosphere. Very relaxed, but elevated. Awesome local artwork. In the last few years, we’ve had great interactions with Robert “Robbie”! He kinda mans all stations when needed and is extremely, but not annoyingly, attentive. He makes great cocktails! Definitely recommend and will continue to be a loyal customer since standards have been the same for so long. Consistent!

Dittos Grill was absolutely delicious and a 10/10 recommend! You start off your meal with toasted bread and butter. I got the four cheese chicken Parmesan which was sooo cheesy! I can't remember all the cheese that was in it, I just know it was delicious. I substituted the citrus salad that came with it for a bowl of French Onion Soup. Their soup was phenomenal. Everything tasted amazing. It is a little pricey in my opinion, BUT it is very much worth it. I will be back soon to try their meatloaf and apparently they have homemade pies so bring your sweet tooth!

Many good options on the menu. I thought the pasta with chicken was very good and had a good flavor. It had a slight kick to it, but not overpowering. Another person had the beef tips with ravioli in a tomato sauce and he liked that as well. They bring out warm, sliced baguette bread and fresh butter. Seats were very comfortable and it was easy to watch the game from either of the bar or the various TVs placed around. Not too noisy. 9/2025: Food was still outstanding. The Chilean Seabass with crabcake and green beans was really excellent. Good flavor for the crabcake and the Seabass tasted very fresh with the right spices as it was pan grilled. The meatloaf was a huge piece, maybe 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches thick with fresh mashed potatoes on top. A sirloin steak was grilled as expected and was very flavorful. Excellent meal for all with Service over the top.

The original artwork and relaxed ambiance made me feel right at home here, even before I tasted the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever eaten. Quality of the food remained high in my book with the medallions of beef in a delicious sauce over mashed potatoes topped with tobacco onions. Almost didn’t have room for dessert but the cheesecake was my favorite, even though I also loved my friend’s special coconut cream pie, which she let me taste. We’d recommend Dittos for Two as great value for the price! I’ll stop here again whenever I’m in Louisville.

My favorite meal in Louisville. If I’m within 60 miles I always try to stop. Crystal R took great care of us this time, and the food is always amazing!

Chef Dom was back there doing his thing at 75! The amount of experience shows in the quality of the dishes.

I visited Dittos tonight for a birthday dinner. We ordered the pomegranate margaritas and the calamari as an appetizer. The calamari tastes very good I love the inclusion of banana peppers for added flavor. The margaritas tasted like cough syrup, not my favorite flavor…. 🙈 For dinner two of us ordered the NY strip steak, the others ordered salads. The steak was very good! It could’ve been a bit more tender but the sauce was fantastic and the onion straws taste good too! Our waitress was very friendly and even offered birthday dessert 🍮 thank you!!

Great place. Service was very fast and friendly. Food tasted incredible. We got the Italian club, the blackened chicken alfredo pasta (at the recommendation of the server) and the sweet potato fries. The fries (which were half off for happy hour) were probably the best we have ever had. We paid $50 for two entrees and an appetizer. We'll definitely be coming back!

The food was great and had a good vibe. The service was a little slow. Overall very good. The wings were great and so was the chicken salad. We will be back!

Amazing time with my family over some delicious food. I made reservations for my party of 8 but I'm not sure if I needed it. Nice size place with lots of seats and room for large parties. Loved the variety of food. Everyone enjoyed the dish. Samantha was a great server. Very polite and great service.

The sweet potato fries were amazing! Would highly recommend these for starters which are half off during happy hour. We had the fish sandwich (which was massive) and the Thai salmon which was steaming hot upon arrival. Prices are a little high but the food and service was worth it.

One of my favorite places in a bit. My beef tenderloin and gnocchi was wonderful. Our server Shannon was great. She even snapped our picture for us.

My husband and I went for a belated Valentine's Day Dinner. The atmosphere was awesome. I ordered the blackened ribeye with the citrus salad. I got a New york strip instead since they were out of ribeyes which I did not mind. The food was delicious. I loved my steak and I loved the salad. We also ordered the calamari appetizer. My husband had a sea bass dish with steamed broccoli and a Caesar salad. We recommend the food and the place for any occasion :)

Chadi was a very kind and humorous waiter! Definitely above the average server. Large portioned food that came out in a timely manner and tasted very good. I would highly recommend the chicken carbonara meal, very flavorful with additions of fresh tomato and scallions. They have physical and digital (QR code) menus. Also, they use paper straws which I thought was a nice environmentally friendly touch. The atmosphere is very pleasant and there is a lot of interesting artwork all around the restaurant. The music is good, while I was there they softly played more modern rock songs.

Traveling though kentucky we stopped on a whim and it was an amazing hidden gem! Recommending to everyone. Food is a mix of American and fusion from all around the world. Same with the atmosphere looks like even an outdoor seating option. Attentive staff, reasonable prices. A Happy Hour. Food came out quick and Delicious!

I made a reservation for 8 online about two weeks out and on the day before I communicated with the owner that I would actually have 5-6 and he was very understanding and accommodating. We were seated in a large round booth next to the kitchen and our server was very nice and helpful. Food was amazing! My steak was cooked exactly how I asked and my husband really enjoyed the pizza and was intrigued by Gouda being on a pizza. I’ve also heard great things about the brunch so we will definitely return!

Our new wing place in town! Awesome awesome awesome service! Our server unique was very professional and helped me to figure out what to eat because there was so much to choose from! I enjoyed it very much! Will definitely be back again!

This place is mind boggling. It's never as busy as it should be, which is good for someone who wants to get seated immediately. We've been here many times and the food is always top notch. The server was polite and attentive and very professional. The hostesses were friendly. This restaurant has a very family owned vibe. It's exactly what you would hope for and never under-delivers. This latest trip was right after the St. Patty's day parade, so it was crowded as expected. And even with all the extra customers, the wait staff was still very friendly and the food came out looking like the kitchen staff focused on every dish like their job depended on it.

Can't go wrong with Ditto's. It is a perfect place if you're not sure what you are in the mood for. They have burgers and other sandwiches, salads, pastas, tacos, wings, seafood, you name it. Perfect if your significant other can never choose what they want to eat when you ask them. The food is amazing here. Everything has always been cooked to perfection every time I come, and the service has always been top notch. Adam was our server and he was outstanding from start to finish. I like that there is parking on the side of the building and also there is a small lot behind it as well. Nothing major maybe about 10-15 spots but I'd say that's pretty good for a Louisville restaurant on Bardstown Road. Definitely a restaurant I keep coming back to when I'm in the Ville.

Crystal was an amazing server. In spite of being the only server in a busy restaurant, she stayed friendly, courteous and gave us great service. We traveled through Louisville from Chicago and would definitely consider returning because of her

Our server Crystal was awesome. She made us feel special from the moment that she came to our table until the moment that we left..the manager greeted us and made us feel welcome.

My boyfriend and I ate here. Right next to the building lengthways is parking. He had the New York strip with baked potato and it was cooked too perfection. It was served in an onion-ish sauce which had a kick was very good. I had the gluten-free pork chop and it was superb. I was very grateful that they had a separate menu for me to pick from. The service was excellent. It's a very nicely setup restaurant. Very clean and organized. The kitchen questioned the extent of my allergy so as not to make me sick, which I was also very appreciative of. We recommend this place 100%!

This spot has hands-down the best happy hour in Louisville! The drinks were fantastic, and the appetizers—at half price—were just as impressive. I tried the nachos, and the short rib was unbelievably tender. The pomegranate margarita was a first for me, but it was so refreshing and unique that I’d definitely order it again. As great as the food and drinks were, it’s the atmosphere and staff that truly make this a 5-star experience. Our server, Chloe, was attentive and offered excellent recommendations. We also loved when Joe stopped by our table to share stories about himself and how he created some of the menu items—it made the visit feel so personal and welcoming. We’ll absolutely be back, and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding food, amazing drinks, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else in the city.

This place is one of my favorites, Been coming here for years. Always a good time. Happy hour after a long day of working is the best. Come see the bartender John he is great and has never let me down. On top of the other staff here. Great Atmosphere and food.

The food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the pork chops and with mashed potatoes and sautéed onions and spinach — and couldn’t be more satisfied. Every bite of everything was a delicacy. This place needs a Michelin star(s) ⭐️!

My wife and I had our favorite meal. Crab cakes and chopped salad and as always it was delicious! Crystal, our waitress, was efficient , attentive and very helpful. She definitely gets 5 stars for her service.

We have patronized Dittos for over 15 years. We have obviously enjoyed Dittos. However we have seen staff come and go. Currently the bar has an exceptional young bartender, Jonathan. He has it all…. Connects with patrons on first name basis, provides great service, supports his co workers and more. We hope he doesn’t move on as others have done. Great Dittos team player.

Excellent! We had such a lovely experience here. The food was really good, with a large menu that offered plenty of options. Great happy hour menu. Our waitress Natalie was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. We will definitely be back!

The food is always excellent at ditto's. Fairly high in the price point though. Can't really find much to complain about. They've been giving quality food since around 1990. This place is a Louisville landmark that if you've never been, you should go and give it a shot.

Ditto's is back, ya'll! We have been back the last few months multiple times and everything tastes and feels like the good old days. I have been coming here for over 25 years, but hadn't come in a few years due to quite a few bad experiences we had. But that is all in the past. The place is under new management and you can tell. The food is back to tip top and the service is supreme. We loved our experience. Krystal was our server today and she did an amazing job. 👏 Come try it out or try it again like we did. You won't be disappointed. 👍

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the stuffed shrimp with crab with the steamed veggies. I am stuffed *pun intended* the full order of wings was way more than anticipated. The only downside of eating here was the manager who would just walk in our section and glare at us. He came near us a total of 6 times during our meal. Gave that vibe of being followed in the store while shopping, which was completely unnecessary. Besides that, the meal was great.

J

Got the blackened chicken Alfredo with a side of broccoli. The Alfredo sauce was a little runny for my liking but overall the food was good. The bartender gave excellent service, chatting with me about menu recommendations. The vibe of this place was really cool.

Update: Remains one of our Louisville favorites. Great selection of classics you can count on every time. Bass and risotto, crab cakes, salads, soups are our go-tos here. Nice happy hour values too. Great chef and management. Consistently high end of quality in food. Nice bev selection especially variety of cocktails. Sea bass and risotto, crab cakes, salads and desserts are all favs. Free parking.

First time eating at Dittos grill and it was very good. I had the stacked woodland farm meatloaf - KY proud pork & bison with smashed potatoes, brown gravy, tobacco onions on texas toast. Kids had different versions of the cali-italian club with grilled chicken breast. Atmosphere is great with comfortable booths and plenty of space for larger groups.

Cheyanne was a fantastic server and the food was really good. It was reasonably priced. I recommend Ditto’s to everyone.

Great service. Manager was EXCELLENT. Food was great..just didn't care for the fish entree I got with the crabcake. The crabcake consistency was great but lacked flavor..the fish was a beautiful peice but also bland and the " salsa" on top was not a salsa..some cut up tomatoes with not much of anything else. Hon3stly took fish home and left in fridge too long as wasn't excited about having it. The green beans were great as was the citrus salad...could go again just for the salad

Prices have gone up since my last visit but that is understandable. $21 pan Asian noodles with Thai salmon and 1/2 salad very good and filling. $18 chicken street tacos were enjoyed. Piece of Key lime pie large enough to be split. More than enough whipped cream and very good. Restaurant nicely decorated.

S

It was a decent restaurant. It was clean and spacious, and the bread they give is really good while you wait. The service itself was good. The food though was just okay for me, and for a 15 dollar or so burger I was hoping for something more flavorful. I added cheese and bacon but it couldn't distract me from the fact that the meat itself just seemed not seasoned. I was told to come here for the pasta, maybe next time I'll get the alfredo since I've been told that's very flavorful and good.

t
tyren edwards

The wings were tiny with wing tips as part of the weighted count of a pound. Service was slow even with a reservation. The dressing for the citrus salad did not pair well with the salad.

L

This restaurant was underwhelming, and overrated, the food lacked due to the cook rationing toppings on the salads, one slice of avocado, and an almost non-existing portion of almonds and cheese, both salads, one full and one half salad, same amount of toppings. And the cook completely disregarding ingredients on the beyond me burger...there were no onion strings, or goat cheese, and when I asked for these items to complete the burger, it took the waitress forever to get it. She also ignore our request for a refill on strawberry lemonade, stating she was told there were no free refills, so she has to charge for another lemonade. The waitress was horrible, she was very unattentive, and had to be called multiple times to the table, because she never came to check on us. She just didn't care, and that was disturbing. The only thing good about this restaurant was the sweet potato fries appetizer, but other than that, the cook skimped on the salads, and did not properly prepare the burger. The restaurant acted very carelessly, and cheap, for what their dishes cost. I took a minute to discuss all of this with the manager, and he tried to justify the poor food preparation from the cook, and the poor service from the waitress...but really how could he? Needless to say, I did not tip, I left a long note on the ticket why, and the manager removed the beyond me burger from the ticket.

came here yesterday in got the roast beef in nachos But both meats was tough and fatty asked if I can get it without the meat, but couldn’t so I sent it back and didn’t get anything. Husband didn’t eat the roast beef because it was like daily sliced fatty and tough so the guy comes over explaining to us why the meat is fatty where it comes from off the animal. My husband is a meat cutter he knows about meat, but what got us we paid for the plate and the drinks, even though he did not eat it because the owner seem desperate and was begging, how can we make it right dude if a customer comes in and does not like the food customer should not pay please don’t act desperate anymore that was just an embarrassment place was not doing any Business we should have walked away will never come back here we would have paid for the food regardless, if we did not eat it, but we did not like you coming over begging saying you don’t want to lose money on a plate never in my life have i heard a owner say that we take a loss in this kind of Business.

L
Lori Vittitow

I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp and I was very disappointed. Zero crab to be found as the shrimp were stuffed with plain bread crumbs.that had no seasoning and no crab what so ever , I looked . The menu should be changed to reflect what is actually served. Dry and disappointing to be honest .

J
James Townsend II

The manager Joe is a piece of work. If the owners do not want their business ruined they will replace Joe with a kinder more professional manager. He did not show leadership and professionalism in how he deals with customers. You never know know when a food critic or social media influencer is watching. 2 stars simply because the food was good but not worth the attitude or the wait.

T
Tara Gardner Perry

Service provided the bare minimum. Our waiter took our order, brought food to table, and delivered the check. Didn’t check-in for beverage refills, offer bread which was delivered to tables around us, or ask if meals were up to expectations. I ordered the “blackened” chicken pasta as reviews online made it sound worthwhile. Pasta was incredibly overcooked. Fell apart into noodle trips making it difficult to consume. Chicken was not blackened. Appeared to be boiled breast meat tossed in and was sparse. I also spotted a couple black hairs in my citrus salad, which I was willing to overlook, but looking back was en par with the rest of our experience. Had great memories visiting this restaurant in my childhood. May be best suited for those with lower expectations. Not worth $20 for the entree.

Ditto's used to be a neighborhood staple, with consistently wonderful food and a welcoming atmosphere that felt like coming home every time you came in. Ever since coming under new management the service and care has taken a complete nosedive. Consistently there is something that goes amiss with the food, which would be understandable, if it weren't for the suddenly combative nature of management. I hope you enjoy arguing with a grown man about bread, because that all you can rely on anymore here. Ditto's was a valuable part of my childhood, but sadly, their best days are behind them, and i won't be holding my breath waiting for them gather their wits.

T
Thomas Keen

Food was super bland, fine dining prices but not a fine dining experience. Servers watched me stand at the door and acted as if they didn't want to serve me, waited long for a server to even come attend our table and they werent that busy. I requested to exchange for something else because what I had wasn't good at all, I was declined and manager tried to talk me out of it so I just said forget it, even though my food took more than 30 minutes to come out. I won't be back, good luck to anyone that goes here. The happy hour is decent but that was about it, the manager wasn't helpful in my experience compared to other restaurants
