This is handa down our new favorite burrito place! The staff was absolutely amazing and food was unreal. I'm originally from Chicago and have not been able to find a place with good burritos for the past 13 years. We were absolutely blown away by this place! We'll definitely be coming back and if you're new to the area I cannot recommend this place enough.

This place was a gem, and hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in Louisville! We both got burritos and they were HUGE and flavorful!! We had to purchase chips & salsa which was surprising, they were $2. The drinks were big and tasty. Even though we ordered two margaritas we were given one margarita and a piña colada which was tasty so I didn’t bother to fuss about the error. The delivery robot was cute, music was great and service friendly and fast. The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated as well!

I have the pork belly/ chicharron torta, it was phenomenal. We also had the queasabirria tacos and chilaquiles burrito. They were amazing and authentic. Lo mas authentico que puedes encontrar.

If you are in or passing through Louisville, give this authentic Mexican Taquera! The food is absolutely amazing. The flavors wake up your pallet with authentic seasonings. The portions are HUGE! The burrito was massive! The lady at the register I believe was the owner. She was so helpful and friendly. Met another gentleman who I believe was the owner. He was very nice and told me about the food and concept. Absolutely the best authentic Ive had since I was in Scottsdale Az.... maybe even better....

11/13/2025 treated my son to dinner because we both LOVE this place! Marlene was our host and her smile would make a microwave oven jealous. She gave eye contact and smiled the whole time talking to her. She had customers coming and she wasn’t going to interrupt me or excuse herself till I was finished talking to her. The food and the service is why I keep coming back. I think other restaurants should come here to learn how customer service should be done. Thank you Marlene! Thank you chef! Looking forward to coming back. Next time I will try to save room for dessert. ANOTHER UPDATE!!! Tried their Burrito Supremo and oh boy!!! Exploding with flavor! My son was eating a birria taco and I dipped my burrito in the juice and KABOOM!!!! When I tell you their food is good I tell no lie! I can’t stay out of this place! Chef made me a soup from the birria taco sauce and OMG this is what you want on a winter day (and other than). They are so nice and I really appreciate their service. The food is so delicious that I crave it when I leave work. Went out for dinner with a friend from Costa Rica and we planned to go to Taco City but they were closing. Did a Google search and found Tacolandia stays open till 10:00. I am so glad we came here! The food was so amazing and if you get to meet Cindy you will get THE BEST service so make sure you tip her at least $100😁. I got the grilled steak and shrimp tacos and they were beyond delicious. Cindy recommended a drink that she mixes together and it was amazingly delicious. I am going to tell my coworkers about this place and bring my family here. Thank you Cindy and chefs for making this a great first time experience for us.

If you haven’t tried Tacolandia you should! The food is delicious. The chips and salsa, burritos, quesadillas, AND the 4 milk cake! If you like tres leches it is a must try! The portions are huge and we haven’t tried anything that wasn’t delicious yet. The atmosphere is fun, a robot delivers your food, the people are very friendly. Cindy is so friendly, as is everyone there. The drinks are also a must try. Ask about the Cindy’s favorite mix, it’s delicious! AND now they have frozen margaritas! It’s the perfect spot for a great meal.

This place was amazing!! I’m from the west coast and haven’t found a Mexican restaurant in Louisville that’s truly impressed me until today! The staff was incredibly friendly and we loved the atmosphere! I’m already looking forward to going back!

Love this place! What a cool addition to an otherwise barren area. We like to stop by to eat after visiting Derby City Gaming because it's so close. The food is fantastic and comes in large portions. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and will customize your order as you wish. And your food is delivered by a talking robot cat! One member of our party has a gluten allergy and they customized a meal for him and said they would make sure everything was cooked separate to avoid cross contamination. This is fast food with taco truck- style offerings and a large menu, but the quality is great. Bonus points because the inside is decorated so cool!

Had the taco tower and was very pleased! The taste was great, plenty of spice, cheesy, and I like the spicy potatoes. The sauces were spicy and I enjoyed that they complimented the taco tower. I’d come back again, thank you!

Good food with large portions. I got a chicharron torta, and it came with a huge side of fries. The torta was tasty, if not a bit greasy. Some fries were fresh, while some tasted a bit stale. The space inside is huge, and there is plenty of parking. They also have a robotic server!

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. I was hoping for some flavorful Mexican food, but the seasoning was almost nonexistent. The cilantro and onions were served on the side in very small portions, and the tortillas tasted off—maybe they were past their prime or had some strange food coloring. They even had a slightly sour taste, which was a big letdown. On the pricing side, it’s definitely on the expensive end, but honestly, I don’t mind paying more if the food and service justify it. Sadly, that wasn’t the case here. The one positive thing I can say is that the place was very clean, and the horchata was great. But, when it comes to service, it was a huge miss. The staff was incredibly rude. They wouldn’t respond to questions right away and would either stare or smirk at you. You often had to ask multiple times to get an answer, which was frustrating. I noticed they have a robot for orders, which is a cool touch, but staff needs to add the salsas to it, to the robot to actually work... The place was practically empty, which I’m not surprised about given the poor customer service. I checked Google reviews afterward, and noticed they were dismissing negative feedback by claiming it’s just "competition being jealous." Honestly, it feels so high school and disrespectful to respond that way. It's not competition; it’s just bad service.
