Lovely little coffee shop in a beautiful and relaxing setting. Employees are extremely friendly and helpful. The drinks are also very tasty, I just wish they had more options.

Really good atmosphere and drinks. My only wish is that there would be a way to order from outside because I'm usually only in the area to walk my dog and I can't take him inside and he won't let me go in without him and it seems ridiculous to use door dash when I'm right outside the door.

I get my wife coffee here almost every weekend im not much on coffee but she says its the best in town and the staff is always friendly and fast nice environment to sit and enjoy your beverage have not tried the food but its certainly looks and smells amazing

Neat coffee shop! Menu has lots of creative takes on drinks and isn’t your standard coffee line up. Baked goods and coffee and candles for sale as well. Great, relaxing environment for studying or hanging out. The barista crew is top notch, very knowledgeable on products and extremely pleasant.

He-Brews Coffee is an excellent place to have cup and a break. The London fog tea was wonderful. The service is excellent. The wildlife is entertaining. I love the baby prairie dogs.

This a coffee shop in the middle of nowhere, next to a lake. A bunch of people were studying it looks like a nice vibe.The coffee tastes fine you won’t be disappointed.

I like how generally quiet this place is, and the location doesn’t hurt. It’s unique due to being situated inside a city park, and sits right off the water. Their coffee is so good and decently priced, so much better than other chain coffee shops in town! My only menu suggestion would be to add frappes to your menu! I know you’re trying to keep unique, but frappes sell and I would love the option to get a frozen coffee drink. The last time I visited, my friend and I each got an iced coffee. It took quite a while to get them and that was unusual. Usually service isn’t quite that slow with so few people placing orders at that time of day. Also, the parking lot. I know paving anything is ridiculous expensive but the potholes are a nightmare! I’m not sure if this is up to y’all anyway, or if it’s the city who needs to see the complaint but they’re out of control. Use caution in the parking lot for sure. Otherwise, definitely worth checking out!

I absolutely loved this coffee shop! I was a little confused when driving there because it’s in the middle of a park. But once I saw all the cars in the parking lot I knew it was going to be good! The vibe is so fun and cute plus you get to watch hundreds of prairie dogs sneak around outside while your there. I got an Iced Toffee Truffle and it was amazing. My family & I really enjoyed coming here. If I am ever in Lubbock again, I’ll be sure to go back!

We are here in Lubbock to visit our grandson and son. We live in Cheyenne, Wyoming where I pastor a church. Just happened to be visiting the Silent Wings Museum and noticed this place on the map. So glad we stopped. My wife insists that the hot chocolate is the best she has ever had and my two teenage girls and grandson loved the Italian sodas. I had the hot raspberry chocolate swirl and it was very smooth. Love the ambience and the setting by the lake. This would be a great place to do studying. Great job to the staff! We will visit again. Edited - Went again today - two days in a row. Different drinks and different barista. Same story. Drinks were very good and service was also good and friendly.

I’ve been coming to He-Brews for a few years now. Got a Dulce de Leche Breve, extra hot. Service was great. Miss the days when they had couches and a more relaxed atmosphere here. Now, it’s all hard tables and chairs. Not much room to wait for your coffee inside. It’s more of a study atmosphere than it used to be. Just miss the couches. Also, wish the extra hot would have been made hotter but that’s a personal preference I have at just about every coffee shop. Will come here again. It’s great to grab a coffee and take a walk around the lake.

I tried 4 different beverages over my 2 visits here... coconut cloud, Chai tea latte, white hot cocoa, and raspberry swirl. Each one was more delicious than the last... I think figure visits will probably confirm my suspicion that this is the kind of place where you can pick anything from the menu and be ok. To top it off, the service was absolutely wonderful. The batistas were incredibly sweet and friendly, gave great recommendations, and you can really tell they're committed to making sure every guest is happy with their drink. 12 out of 10, would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting or passing through Lubbock.

We found a fun little coffee shop removed from the streets and shops that was a good spot for studying and enjoying coffee with a small group. Tucked inside is 98.7 WBF “Walk By Faith” radio station! We got a Lavender Iced Latté, Raspberry Italian Cream soda’s, Lavender Italian Cream soda, Brownies, Blueberry Muffin, and a Blueberry Scone. Everything was impressive, even all the fun Prairie Dogs outside!

Great ambiance. Cool place for sit, read, and drink. Cool landscape. Lake al around. Picturesque view in and outside. Coffee tastes good. Seating arrangement good. Good service.

Absolutely love this place. Very friendly and welcoming staff. All of their items taste great.

Not a fan of the espresso beverages, however their cold brew is delicious. I had a coconut cold brew and it was great. They weren’t the most helpful baristas though and seemed a bit annoyed by my questions about the different drinks. The pastries were really good though and the area is fun to sit in with the pond nearby.

This is a very peaceful coffee shop. It's hard not to relax and enjoy everything while you're here. Friendly staff and great coffee! It's hard to describe how enjoyable this place is.

Relaxing atmosphere, and great service. Inspiring messages of God's hope and comfort graced the decor. The latte, house brand coffee, and blended coffee were very good, and went well with our blueberry and cinnamon swirl muffins, and four extra slices of iced lemon cake. They have indoor and outdoor seating, an evening outdoor firepit, and a radio station booth that broadcasts live, yet non-intrusively within the building. We listened to the Christian music broadcast while enjoying the coolness of a Texas summer morning, complete with a view of a nearby river, prairie dogs, birds, green grass and trees. Perfect.

This is the coolest coffee shop!! It overlooks a small lake and it’s just a super chill and nice environment. The people that work there are super sweet. I got the iced chai tea latte and it was really good! The only complaint I would have is parking ( it can get crowded ) and sometimes there is a little bit of a wait in line and it sometimes takes a bit to get your drink, but totally worth it! If you are not in a hurry and wanna go on a coffee date or just do homework this is the place!

Great place to study! They have really good coffee and a great atmosphere for studying or coffee dates. I love getting their iced coffee because it’s not too sweet and not too strong, the perfect in between! If you do go to study, I recommend going before 3 because after 3ish it gets pretty busy. Also, they’re pretty fast at preparing your coffee!

I have been a few times and love the atmosphere. I have had a few issues with customer service, so I'm hoping it's just because they're still pretty new. I was in yesterday and got a cappuccino to go and it was made really well and filled the whole cup. I then came back this morning and ordered another cappuccino. After waiting almost 30 minutes, I got my drink which was a little over half full. When I asked why, they said that's how the drink comes. I would believe that if I hadn't been in the day before and had a completely full cup 🤷🏼‍♀️ For a $4 cup of coffee, I would expect the cup to be full every time. I would appreciate more consistency and more prompt service.

The service was great and the coffee tasted nice the only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is due to not feeling very awake after my coffee even hours later (I had the coconut cloud coffee espresso). Really good place to study/ work on your laptop 💻 with good prices.

Beautiful location, right on the water with great views. A Christian contemporary radio station shares the space. There’s music playing, but it’s very quiet and non stressful. The staff is friendly and helpful. I gave 3 stars because...Oatmeal is offered on the menu. I discovered that the oatmeal they use is in little packages like you would fix for breakfast if you ate oatmeal in college. And...they didn’t have just plain oatmeal so I opted for a blueberry muffin which had a sticky, gummy top, was too sweet, made of super refined flour, had a few dots of blueberry food color throughout and was flavored with “hint of blueberry”. I left a 20% tip on a 5 buck bill and was the only customer in the store. And it took almost 10 minutes to get my coffee. The kicker though is that there is an extra charge of 12 cents to add half-and-half to your cup and 15 cents to add heavy cream. It’s petty. Kick the price up 15 cents per cup and leave milk out for customers to serve themselves. Maybe I caught them on an off day. Also, no soap in the restroom ☹️, BUT good prairie dog action!

I love Hebrews coffee, I love the coffee and the atmosphere indoors is nice. The outdoors has a nice, big patio BUT, the last 3 times we went I had tiny spiders all over me. You guys spray need to spray for spiders, you have such an amazing space and I am sure more people would come but the spiders outside are TOO much. Please 🙏 do something to clean that area so we can once again enjoy the patio.

Super cool concept. But - they were totally overwhelmed by the number of customers. Understaffed and understocked. It took an hour to get a latte and hot chocolate. That was only a portion of our order - we had to cancel the rest of the order. The owner/manager definitely needs to step in and help the staff figure out what to do in that kind of situation. But great prices and the coffee was good when we did get it.

Great place to stretch your legs if you’re passing through on a road trip. The dogs loved to get out and smell around the pond. Unfortunately, I couldn’t drink my coffee. I ordered a cortado and received a latte, which generally wouldn’t bother me but the espresso tasted old and burnt with plastic-like after taste.

There is limited Handicap Parking the Parking lot is gravel..not easily accessible for wheelchairs & scooters

The food is okay, but I come here for the coffee and atmosphere. Today I was very disappointed when I tried to order at 3:57 and was told by the barista that they would be closing and couldn’t make any coffee drinks. There normal hours are from 8-6 and I wasn’t given any explanation as to why they were randomly closing early. It’s unfortunate that during finals week Hebrews is closing early when students need it most….

Good patio overlooking the pond. Coffee was tasted good but it took 37 min. The bar is understaffed so the wait time made sense with one person making drinks and food orders. The chicken pesto sandwich was pretty bad. Even for a lunch meat sandwich it didn’t taste great. Place is good and worth the chill on the patio if youre alright with waiting for your drink and getting lunch elsewhere.

very poor selection of cakes at 2 p.m!! parking lot is an offroad trail. they didnt accept a 50 dollar bill. no business,no second try!

When I arrived and asked for the bathroom before I ordered the barista rudely said that the bathroom was for customers only, while there is no other reason to be there. Then as I politely stated that there were no paper towels or any COVID cleaning supplies he was extremely rude.. while the coffee was good the overall experience ruined the coffee for me.

Unfortunately the service was horrible even though the place has a good vibe to it and located well. In addition to having old pastries on display, they messed up our order badly and didn't want to do anything about it. They said if we want to order something we will have to pay for it. Well we left disappointed and are never coming back. Nor do we recommend this place.

Come for the views…and nothing else. Had to wait nearly 25 minutes for a couple coffees and our food; when they came, they were VERY underwhelming. 1 star for the views alone though as the walking train, prairie dogs, and lake are pleasant to look at.

So before I begin I want to say there are very few places in Lubbock I can go to with my dog. So there is a group of friends that meet on weekends and drink coffee. So we try different places each weekend. Today we found a place that allows pets. So upon approaching I ask the gentleman outside if I can go inside to order. He says no but there is a window around back. I come to the window it reads ring the bell. I ring the bell but no one comes to the window. I wait 10 minutes at the window no one comes. There is a door I open it peak my head in and say hello is this where I order? The rude man says no come in, I said I have a dog. He then looks at me and says wait I can’t take your order I’ll be with you in a minute. 20 minutes pass I’m still outside. Waiting!! My friends are ordering inside. The man opens the window buy that time I’m sitting down waiting on friends. He looks over where I’m sitting and says can I take your order? At this point you’ve been so rude you allow pets yet dismiss us the patron. The rudest place I’ve ever encountered. I’ll never come back!!!!

Very poor first impression. The longest I've ever waited for a drink, and they weren't even that busy. The drink was not very good.
