Kathy is AMAZING!! I discovered several months ago that I had several food allergies so I haven’t eaten out since then however tonight I hadn’t packed food while traveling so decided to stop by Chili’s to see if I could get a meal without without gluten or dairy. Kathy went above and beyond to check ingredients and ensure my food was cooked carefully and overseen by her personally. This may seem like a small gesture for some but it meant the world to me because there is a lot of anxiety around food allergies and having reactions. Thank you Kathy and Chili’s for being so kind, considerate, and accommodating!!

Love that they offer the deals that include dessert! If you have not yet tried the cookie skillet, you are missing out!

One waitress and six customers. She was amazing and the food was excellent. We actually told the manager she needed a raise! We tipped her well and enjoyed our meal.

Kate was a waitress and was very kind and attentive. The food was amazing! My husband enjoyed a triple dipper and I enjoyed the seafood pasta bake. Everything was delicious and not over cooked. This was a great meal for us after a 10 hour drive.

Wait staff is very nice. Susie our waitress kept our drinks full and everything on point. Even took time to make my 2 year old feel better when he got fussy.

We had a young male waiter that was very nice. He was always checking on our drinks and any other needs. This was a family reunion meeting and everyone was visiting telling stories. Everyone's order was correct and hot. We will be coming back even without the whole group.

We had the most awesome waiter when we visited this location. We had 3 adults and 3 children and it was on a very busy Thanksgiving weekend. This waiter was very attentive and friendly to our entire table and met our every need. The entire staff were very nice and very helpful. The food was great and we would recommend this restaurant as A Great place to eat and enjoy wonderful food and service.

My husband and I were seated as soon as we arrived. Our waitress arrived promptly to take our order and was very knowledgeable in answering our questions about our choices. We had an appetizer on our table within minutes and just as we were finishing it, our dinner was served. The steaks were spot on and everything was delicious, including dessert!

Took my mom there for Valentine’s Day and we had the friendliest and very competent waitress and all of the staff. We love the lunch menu and today added the molten lava dessert, delicious!

Hubby and I will go here occasionally for date night. Tonight I had the 3 for Me $10.99 Smash Burger/fries. Strawberry Lemonade (my fave) and Chicken Enchilada Soup (so good). Hubby had the 3 for Me 10.99 Old Timer Burger/fries, strawberry lemonade and upgraded the chips and salsa to the trio dips and chips. Chips/Salsa are unending. The burgers were cooked to perfection. Always way more than we can eat. We take half of the burgers and fries home for another meal.

Spent 115 before tip for 6 people and was not forced a gratitudity tip like most other places charge for groups of 6 or more.

The food was great the place was clean the staff is friendly but didn't refill my drink fast enough. Bathroom is Clean too. However they did sit my family near the bar which sucked having to hear the adult conversations with my young kids bothered me. Other than that it was great delicious food and a great price

Our waiter was fantastic, we really enjoyed our time there, can't wait to go back. The only reason atmosphere didn't get 5 stars is that some of the decor could be updated (a minor issue, and one that I see is improving).

Early dinner visit. The food was excellent—absolutely no complaints there. When we arrived, they were playing some pretty loud, pop-style Christmas music, which was a bit much. To their credit, they did turn it down somewhat when asked, and that helped. Service was decent, though the server could have been a bit more attentive. Our drink order was taken quickly, but we didn’t get another chance to order appetizers separately, so we had to order everything at once. As a result, there wasn’t much time to enjoy the apps before the main courses arrived, which came out fairly quickly. If I had one real complaint, it would be the cleanliness of the restrooms, which was far below expectations. Overall, though, the food was outstanding and everything else was fine. I’m still giving this a 5 because of the quality of the food, but if there were a 4.5 option, that would probably be more accurate.

Have not been to a Chili's in quite a few years because the food was just not very good. Went there for a salad thinking they can't mess that up right? Had a salad which was more than iceberg lettuce- actually included mixed greens, cucumber, ripe cherub tomatoes and good croutons. The cilantro vinegarette dressing is amazing. The baked potato soup was delicious; will decline the stringy cheese they put on top next time. Soup and salad for <$10 was the perfect amount of food and a good price for a meal these days. Seated almost immediately and the Waitress appeared at the perfect time, was friendly, and professional. Like paying at the table when I am ready to with the tabletop computer. Very easy to use. Will definitely go back. Sports games on multiple TVs in bar area.

One of our favorite spots to visit in Lufkin! We always enjoy the chips and salsa. And of course, the fried pickles are a must every time. I personally love the little burger bites—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Great food, great atmosphere, and always a great experience!

We ate there for lunch in 6/29/25 @ the service was amazing. We had a new server who repeated our order back to us to ensure accuracy, I could see a good part of the kitchen from my seat, & I was in aww of how clean and organized it was. Didn’t see any servers on their phones in the back, and no one was just standing around. There was a male manager who was very involved in getting the food out fast. The manager stopped by our table to make sure everyone was good, and of course it was. These are just some of the reasons we are repeat customers at this establishment. They really care about their guests experience. Keep it up Lufkin Chilis.

Great food! Affordable prices. Happy Hour every Sunday in the bar. Lunch specials on weekdays. Also the 3/ $10.99 specials are really awesome. Also, if you haven't already, you should sign up for the Chili's Rewards Program. Free chips and salsa everytime..... If you use your Rewards frequently, you'll get random rewards.... Plus on your birthday, you get a free dessert.

Chilis still has great food, great staff. They also have one of the best reward programs of any restaurant chain i am familiar with - regularly sending me deals and ideas. Tonight i had shrimp tacos - lots of spicy shrimp, avocado, crunchy cabbage, excellent beans and rice. My date had chicken pasta - plenty of chicken anf sauce and flavor with pasta. We were seated immediately in a booth when we walked in at 6.15. Within 30 seconds our cheerful waitress greeted us - even though the restaurant was full of patrons - our food came to us in short order - hot and savoury. I know why this place is packed.

One of our favorite restaurants to eat at in Lufkin. Food has always been good. Service is generally great. Generally do not have a long wait to be seated unless it is really packed. Great burgers. Triple Dipper is a great appetizer. Kids love the big mouth bites.

The food is typically really good. On the most recent visit the service was pretty poor (not the first time). With small children, we do our best to get in and out painlessly. Waiting to find your waiter for to go boxes, drinks, or the ticket does not help. Their hamburgers are always pink (medium), so I avoid eating those - no pink beef for me thank you. Ordering well done seems to mean blackened.

Dine in while waiting out a storm. The food was good, the holiday marg. Was yummy. We had a new waiter who he said this was only his second day. He did his best but it would have been worth Chili’s time to put a trainer with him. He tried but he needed help and I don’t blame him at all, he should have had help when he was given an 8 top on his second day.

We came in to clean tables and a smile. Had some good food, like really good. My wife chicken sandwich was excellent. Had the games on and our waitress was all about checking on everyone. We usually avoiding Chili's from other establishments, but we are definitely going back!

I’ve always had a great experience here except for yesterday. Juan was GREAT by the way, but the lady who brought out our food was kind of giving us an attitude! Especially after they messed up my order 3 times!! I ordered the triple dipper: big mouth bites no onions, mozzarella sticks, and crispers. How do you mess that up 3 times then have an attitude with me? I was very visibly upset and frustrated that my friend had to ask for my plate to get fixed the last time because I didn’t want to be rude to Juan who was nothing but kind. Genuinely, ruined my mood especially since I was starving!

Son took me out for my birthday and we decided on Chili's in Lufkin. Place was typical Chili's and was clean. Staff impressed with not writing down our 6 person order and only made one slipup with my wife's order...was to be barbq bone in wings and brought out boneless but corrected quickly. Had a "drink" as well and it was good. Enjoyed the family time and with no complaints. Place has a variety menu so you'll find something to enjoy easily. Go and enjoy a great night out with family or friends...or a friend.

Stood at the door for over 7min, it was not busy. Received the chips and salsa, the chips were cold like they were keep in the refrigerator. The server came to the table once, was not offered refills on tea. Shrimp pasta was dry not a lot of sauce. Chicken crips were over cooked.

The Margaritas...Classic Ritas....are a short pour...no kick... and the glass is not even full??? Food not up to par with the other Chili's I have been to. Service was adequate but not anything to go tip crazy over. Staff ... a little unkempt. Floors and restrooms clean.. only thing I could say. Every thing else a shade below par.

Both of my recent visits to this Chili's have been disappointing. Both times, I was seated in the bar area, and had the same server. This server proved to be inattentive, only coming to the table a few times, and seeming very rushed. Despite this, she wasn't rude, and even seemed polite. The food tasted fine; however, when I received my soup and entree, both were lukewarm at best. If and when I return to this location, I will ask to sit in a completely different area with a different server.

Chili's always has great atmosphere. The place was clean and neat. We were greeted and seated right away. And our server came right away. Our drinks were good. I ordered the fajitas with stake, chicken and shrimp. I could have made them better at home! The stake was so grisly and fatty that I could barely chew it and had to keep spitting out the grissel. And the shrimp was very bland. It had no flavor. The chicken was good. All and all, I recommend Chili's. Just don't order the triple fajitas. Great service!

Food was great as always but last night our service was very off. It was my husband and I, and it seemed the waiter only wanted to sorta be kinda nice to me. When he asked if we were ready to order I had a question about steaks and he just said I'll give you more time, and we were ready. Took him forever to come back. He came pretty fast when I needed a refill of tea, but when my husband needed tea refill it took forever. And when we finished finally the waiter asked if we would like to go drinks I said yes, he brought only one for me but not my husband. There was something very off about this guy.

Our food took forever to come out (2 plates), the steak on the fajitas was raw in the middle and had no taste, the shrimp was half hot & half cold and the corn on the cob was gummy. The service was slow as there was one waitress/bartender for our side.

Food was surprisingly bad for a chili's. I know they're not known for Michelin star food quality, but are usually consistently average for the price. This was not the case here. Both undercooked and overcooked on multiple dishes. Server talked too much taking orders that they didn't hear two separate requests and proceeded to blame us for her/him not hearing us. We ordered takeout last night from Chili’s. My husband ordered the chicken crispers and I had the honey chipotle chicken crispers. Staff was very friendly and helpful when I picked it up. Our food was hot and fresh and had a great taste. Unfortunately, both of our chicken crispers were so tough and hard that we literally could not eat them. A steak knife would not even cut them. We ate our sides and just threw the crispers in the trash. We were very disappointed, because they were very tasty bases on the small crumbs that we got off. Takeout is a rare treat for us so I don’t think we’ll be back to the Lufkin, TX Chili’s.

The floors were filthy, food and trash all over. I commented to the hostess and her response was simply “Yeah, we don’t have anyone to pull the tables out so we can sweep.” Because I had my kids with me, I suppose she assumed we would be just as messy and would not mind the filth. It was offensive. Two tables next to us had food and dirty dishes. Only one was cleaned while we were there. The other remained as dirty as the floors. The hostess even winced when she saw new people walk in, and seemed irritated she had to clean them a table when they refused the first one she offered. Makes you scared to see the kitchen, if they keep the front in such a state. Will never go back!

We like their food a lot. The last time we went for curbside delivery we received message saying our order was ready. There were 2 cars already parked We waited and 2 more cars came up and their food was delivered before ours. The second car that was before us was finally given their food. We still waited. After about fifteen minutes and others being given orders and ours probably sitting and getting cold we drove off.. .Someone wasn't doing their job.

The food looked good, but didn't taste all that great. Seems they are cutting corners to save $$. The Mexican rice was under cooked as well. We asked for extra plates, they were dirty. We were brought new plates and those were dirty as well. The 3rd time was a charm, and we finally got clean plates. We don't plan on visiting again.

The waiter stunk like heck with his greasy hair. We ordered drinks as we sat down. The food came out 5 minutes later. That wasn't cooked. Another 10 minutes our drinks came out. Not a soul came by to check on our food. Now I see why Applebee's went under. Poor service

I don't expect great things from most chain restaurants other than hot food, good service, and a clean environment. Chili's disappointed with their food quality. Nothing tasted fresh, nor was it hot. The restaurant seemed clean and the service was decent, but room temp food is a deal breaker for me.

We frequently come to Chili's. Our visit tonight was horrible! The server accused my 8 yr old daughter of stealing salt & pepper because there was none on our table and I had sent her to get the salt & pepper off the bar no one was using ( which it seems like should've been on our table)..afterwards I ordered a witches brew margarita, in which he made it the way he wanted, not how it's actually advertised or made (I've had drink made before in the day time and it was completely different)..after all this occurred, the service steadily declined! He treated us as though we weren't even there. No refills, no checking on us, would just glance at us and continue walking right past our table. Once I started talking to the manager on duty abt his horrendous service, then he wanted to start hovering around us and trying to eavesdrop on what I was saying about him. Had he been more concerned about us before the manager was brought into the situation, we never would've involved the manager at all. Hopefully the waiter can learn how to treat ppl so this won't happen to anyone else again!

Hadn't been here in awhile and hoped it had got better but it didn't. Food was sub par, no seasoning, very bland and tasteless. Even the fries were blah and the salsa tasted like they just pureed tomatoes, and no salt or pepper to be had on the tables.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Chili's with some of my gals, The server was inattentive and seemed uninterested in providing good service or providing and taking our order in general. We had to wait an excessively long time just to place our order, however when the food finally arrived, it was warm and absolutely delicious. But to make matters worse, the server was quite rude. Stopped in for dinner on our way through town. We really wanted wings, so I got bone-in and my dinner companion got boneless. My wings were weirdly rubbery and felt uncooked even though there was no pink. Hers were bland and not very good. We ended up eating half just to have something in our bellies. Service was terrible. Never got a drink refill. Had to remind them twice about the ranch dressing we asked for. The table and booth chair were dirty. Just a bad experience.

Great food, but the last two times I’ve gone our service has been absolutely terrible. I typically don’t complain but service prior to these instances had been great. First instance, they got my order wrong 3 different times, and the middle aged lady who brought it out had an attitude like they aren’t the ones who messed up 3 times…. Juan our server was AMAZING. Second instance, we went yesterday around 6pm, our service was terrible. The girl barley checked in on us, she didn’t bring me a refill, almost left our table without taking my order, we noticed she took a long time getting someone’s money and then bringing them their change. We asked her to put in an order for a molten lava cake… never placed it. The hostess was great though, as we left she asked us if we wanted to go boxes cause we had wrapped our food up in the napkins we had (we didn’t wanna wait 30 minutes for a to go box) and she was very apologetic & kind.

Definitely the worst dining experience of my life. Bit into clumps of flour inside of the appetizer. Had to get up and walk to the bar to get straws and napkins. Had to ask for silverware after the entree was delivered. Drink glasses were never refilled. Also had to wait for the check because the server was outside. Found something lumpy in the dipping sauce for the southwestern egg rolls. Just an all around horrible experience.

Service was great. Ordered 6oz steak, cooked medium. Server brought it and asked me to cut into it. We both saw that it came with a well cooked outside and raw cold center. So she took it back without my having to ask. Returned with a steak that now had a blackened, charred crust and cooked through steak. Nothing medium about it. Oh and it came with a scoop of butter on top. Who the heck serves butter on steak? It was awful.

Just received two dishes back to back with hair in them, asked if I wanted a substitute dish... No thank you. Their solution, comp that dish I didn't eat....rest of the table got their desserts, cheesecake was a frozen solid block. Front of house staff was wonderful but nothing could make up for such an awful kitchen. It's a chain restaurant on a mostly empty day...I'd hate to see the quality on a busy day.

Saturday my daughter and I went to chili's. Had the 2 for $25. First time at this restaurant since recently moved from Spring,TX. It was busy, but we were able to be seated right away. Our waitress came right away and I ordered a blackberry tea and water, dtr just got water. We asked for loaded cheese fries, waitress went so far to ask if we wanted green onions on it which I've never been asked that. Said yes, about 15 minutes later she puts a small dish of I'm thinking fried pickles Never had them at chili's so unsure. She took off so fast, had to wait for her to come back to another table to tell her we ordered loaded cheese fries. She takes it away then comes back apologizing that she put in the wrong thing. She brings the fries without the serving plates or the ranch dressing. She again did a drop off and then immediately left. Had to wait for her to come back out to another table to get her to bring ranch which she brings without an apology. Takes our order, my daughter had the chicken and bacon quesadilla, it was very oily and and she said not like she remembered. Waitress never came to ask us if food was OK. Never offered a refill which luckily I had my two drinks. Waitress messed up several things with two surrounding tables. She finally comes back and I ask for two to go containers and tell her we want our chocolate chip cookie. She finally brings the boxes and brings the kiosks for payment. I tell her we are waiting for our cookie. She tells us that most people get it to go so they have to heat up our cookie. She finally clears things out of the way from our mini booth, our loaded fries and now our trays. Final disappointment cookie is burnt. I have never been to such a horrible chili's. I'm shocked with all of the positive reviews. I think it was mostly an issue with our mediocre waitress, but the chef was having issues as well. Our section had several complaints and they were sending things back. At this point after a hour and a half I was just ready to leave. Will not be back to this location

Went on a Saturday waited for them to open and were the first customers in the door. The tables were filthy with food still on them from the day before they hadn’t been wiped down. The floor was worn and was dirty black the walls have holes all in them from where stuff use to hang. The food was all but desirable and when I went to talk to the manager he ran to the back of the kitchen, he wouldn’t come out and I had to speak to one of the servers about the food. Will never go back.

My grandson was suppose to have grilled chicken dippers and we got fried chicken strips, my wife was suppose to get broccoli instead of fries and she got fries instead, I was suppose to get onion peddle dippers, burger sliders, and southwestern egg rolls, instead I got onion dippers and fried chicken strips and no egg rolls, all our drinks sat on the table empty fro several minutes as the waiter passed by several times. Won't be going back any time soon.

Just left Chili’s. Very very bad experience. All of the employees, including our own waitress, were too distracted in conversations with each other and what was on the tv to do their jobs or notice us when me and my family tried to ask for anything. The ladies restroom was so bad, absolutely disgusting, it wade me sick. Then, as we were leaving, my little brother tripped and fell spilling his drink everywhere and crying because he was hurt and all the servers literally three feet from us didn’t even notice us or the big scene. They were too busy watching tv and gossiping amongst each other. When we finally got their attention, not one employee offered to help or get us another to-go drink. The food was great but the overall feel and experience was horrible. As we got to the cars, we remembered we forgot the to-go containers, and when we went back in to get them, the server had already thrown them away. It’s sad and disappointing that this is what you call “service”.

Horrible experience. Ordered and payed for my food though door dash. Waited 35 min only to receive a message from door dash saying they were at the restaurant to pick up the order but there was no order there. Called chilis spoke to the manager drew. He was a total jerk and blamed it all on door dash. Told me someone has already picked the order up but couldn’t tell me who had the food. The door dash driver is claiming there is no food there and the Manager is claiming someone has already picked it up. Needless to say I never found out what happened to the food nor will I ever do business with chilies or door dash agin!

My family traveled to this restaurant after my nephew's birthday party at hijinx trampoline park.. We had a party of 16 (10 adults, 6 kids). The restaurant didn't appear to be busy at 5pm. I looked around the restaurant and noticed the bar area wasn't as busy as the other side of the restaurant. There were about 5 people in the bar area. 3 of them was at the bar. There were 2 long tables that had 10 chairs. They told us we would have to wait for other customers to leave in order for us to be seated altogether. We were even willing to sit at separate tables-same area. The hostess then told us that some of us would be seated in the bar area and the other part of the party would be seated on the OTHER SIDE of the restaurant. Wow. That's insane!That took 15 minutes! We left and went to another restaurant. They were busier than this one. We were seated within 10 minutes....

There are so many great restaurants in this area, but my kids wanted Chili's. It was awful. The lady that checked us in was rude and actually rolled her eyes at the group that came in behind us. Parts of my meal were cold. The salt was hard and we tried 3 other tables that were also hard and brown too. The table was sticky. The waters seemed overwhelmed. Over all it was just a bad experience.

They put dirty containers onto my kids pizzas 😒 making them inedible . It’s always an issue when ordering from here . Would not recommend

Chilis in Lufkin, Texas (5/5/24) I don’t know if it’s their policy or what the problem was but…… Today I walked in and requested a table for seven. The young man promptly told me he could only accommodate six. Thinking maybe seven adults being at one table was the problem……..I told him that there was six adults and a high chair for the child. Glaring at me he said that six plus one is seven and we can’t accommodate seven. He never offed an alternative solution such as splitting our party up etc. It was a blunt, NO !! The manager needs to give this young man some training on greeting their guests. Will not be back.

10 bucks for 1 piece of chicken cut up for fajitas. I got 2 tortillas out of it.

Had a bad experience a few minutes ago. Walked in told the host table for 4. Had an extremely bad attitude slamming the menus. Stormed off to the back, and came back asking if we wanted to wait. We asked if if the bar was open said no with an attitude. Had the exact same experience with this last time. She yelled at us there’s only one waiter. Down right rude in my opinion and very unprofessional. Don’t recommend going there ever.

We have eaten at chilli's several times. Normally everything goes well even enjoyable, but tonight was beyond terrible. I would say it's because it's valentine day but they were not busy, steady yes. Anyone who walked got seated without a wait. So the service we got tonight was unacceptable and no excuse. I would have rather just waited somewhere else. The sever was so terrible. She stood in the back talking more than she checked on her tables. Mind you she only had three tables. The food sucked and wasn't cooked right. I would say we could have gotten something done about it if anyone would have asked. The ticket with tip was 76 dollars. She lucky she even got a 7 dollar tip because honestly she didn't deserve that. We ask for extra plates, napkins, and another straw which we never got. We asked for a booster seat got told I don't know where those are. She didn't even bother to ask where one was. So we had to go to the host stand and ask for one they finally brought one to us. The server got our drink and food order never checking on us again. Everyone that brought our stuff was not our server. We asked a passing server for refills on our drinks never got those either. Normally we are really good tippers we usually tip between 10 to 15 dollars. (Unless its a higher bill then tip accordingly) I honestly did not want to even give her 7 dollars. Just very disappointed with this hole experience. I have worked as a server so I know what is expected and standing in the back talking and ignoring your tables is not how you make money the sad part is she wasn't the only one. Normally I wouldn't say anything but the table behind us was also complaining because they couldn't get help either.

Went with wife for lunch had the 2 for 25. Asked for 2 medium rare steaks and got 2 rare blue steaks. Server was nice but the food wasnt

Every single time I eat in the bar area the service is terrible. The bar tender is always rude to me and my family every time we go. And the girl In charge of the bar has a NASTY attitude. She rolls her eyes and snatches our ids out of our hands. Food was great but the service was awful. Id suggest siting away from the bar area. The rest of the staff was very friendly. We went 4/3/24 around 4 👎🏽

No wonder we eat at home. Decided to go out this Chilis & the food has completely went downhill from the last time. Didnt want to send our food back because another person in our group had already done so & beat us to it. The chicken crispers were awful. They must have been running low because they had clearly cut them in 1/2 or 1/3's and served them! The chicken inside was nonexistent. They were flat! Not what we have had before. The ranch, salsa, tea were all watered down. The soup had 2 tiny pieces of chicken and was also watered down ( that was sent back). The house SIDE salad was smaller than the palm of my hand. All of this equals a total rip-off. Charging full price knowing you're not serving full servings is outrageous. Again, we SHOULD have sent it ALL back. We will never bring another person to this Chilis & probably will not go to ANY other location. We had a party of 10. Do better because I don't know how this location keeps getting away with sub-par food. I see the other reviews and a 4.1 is not a good look these days. The table service was great! That girl probably hates her job though if food keeps getting sent back. Poor thing because it absolutely did affect her Tip as she also just shouldn't have served that mess. Disgusted.

The last time I ordered a curbside order the burgers were burnt. Call manager a she said her Corporate Office send a coupon. LIARS NEVER GOT ANYTHING . We got a smash burgers from Chilies tonight they were great compared to Chili’s an half the prices.

When the manger was asked to the table, Cathy was rude unprofessional. A simple clarification turned into something more and disrespectful. I will never come here agin.
