Ordered a couple of times using ubereats. They are the best!!! Everything is always packaged nicely. No missing condiments and really generous with the salsas. Ive tried the quesadilla, burritos, sopes, and mulitas. Everything taste sooo good especially the al pastor!

I come here a lot and I enjoy it very much. The employees are very kind and have a nice attitude. The place is always well maintained, the food is delicious and there are many on the sides options like sauces, vegetables etc. Oh and they give you your order quickly.

Fast service delicious food and wonderfully priced. They have a wonderful selection of food. Their burritos are always good. They just have rice and meat, you can grab onion and cilantro from their salsa bar. They have a salsa bar with chiles toreados, grilled onion, salsa (red and green) prepackaged, onion and cilantro (prepackaged, lemons (prepackaged), and beans. Their beans are always delicious and a must for your burrito is you like beans with your burrito. Their quesadillas are huge. Their asada is always delicious. They have horchata which I highly recommend no super sweet. This gavilan is always booming. Their customer service is great.

Love their asada burritos, I just find it wasteful that they just throw the condiments in the bag and I know it’s easier for them. But I just want lemon and green sauce everything else gets wasted. Other than that they’re great!

If you're a late night Eater. This is the place for you they close at 3 A. M.! The places superclean in and out the food is fantastic order Menu is clear as day. My personal favorite is the Cuban torta. I've had others from other places. They're just too sloppy this one is perfect and delicious!

Good tacos and delicious champurado.

The Taco Plate was very good; three tacos meat of your choice, rice and beans. Gave plenty of condiments: onions/cilantro, red and green salsa and pickled jalapeños and carrots for $6.99. What a bargain!!! The inside of the restaurant was very clean and so were the restrooms. This is very important to me. 👏 👏 👏

I love this food chain. The burritos have gone up in price but they're still big, some places have made their food smaller portions but I'm glad they haven't. This location didn't have a child changing table in the bathroom that was the only thing I didn't like. Food and environment was good, tv was on and you can see the traffic right outside the window, is relaxing. I'll definitely be going back to this and other locations.

The food is always great at Tacos Gavilan, I kind of wish they also served grilled onions. This location is sort of new.. why do they have a side entrance for wheelchairs and pedestrians if its locked, it should say "Exit Only" on it

I had the "al pastor" plate. It was my first time at "Gavilan" I expected it to be crapy. It just looks like a place where one goes because of convenience. I walked in and noticed that the place is clean. I used the restroom and it is clean. They have a salsa bar that also includes shredded cabbage, jalapeño carrots- just carrots, and warm beans. What!!?? I can come grab beans too? I had the red hot salsa. It is pretty tasty. The beans were good, the meat was good, the rice was good, the flour tortillas were good. This is NOT better than you Latin Gramma's food. It is however, better than many Mexican food joints. Oh and the service... pretty good too.

OK why does el pastor taste like carnitas? It's super fatty and sweet. This is the second time this it's tasted this way. I've ordered al pastor from other tacos gavilan and the pastor taste like pastor. What's going on? I dismissed the first time as they were closing but now I'm not sure.

The food still tasted good but some of the meat felt a bit dry. They don't give guac hot sauce. It's neat that all the condiments are pre packaged so others don't go touching stuff. If you ask for a cup for water they give you a little water bottle instead.

I really enjoy the atmosphere, very open & clean. It reminds me of a restaurant from the 1950's... that's the feel I get there. You choose your toppings & add them yourself & the prices are very reasonable & affordable. They also allow refills on drinks. Tacos Gavilan is a true taste of Mexico.

Disappointed, I had been coming for years , but they are making the regular size burritos smaller than they use to while increasing the price, I will be taking my money elsewhere.

Not sure about the hype. Very basic food. The carnitas taste like some chinese takeout pork. The other meats were fine though. Clean, friendly, and fast. Their green salsa is to die for, but we will not be returning. I would rather give that $7 for a quesadilla to an independent food truck instead.

Price was reasonable. We got 6 tacos, a mulita, a sope, a burrito, and a drink for about $31. The food on the other had was not good at all. The asada was flavorless and rubbery. The The salsa was bland as well.

Tacos Gavilan is pretty good . They used to stay open till 3am on the weekends now I think it's only till 2am. Food is ok. Better than Pollo Loco. Sometimes they run out of chicken, happened to me. It's a clean place, it has all the traditional Mexican dishes. Service is like fast food, do it yourself style sit down restaurant. I ordered the Milanesa Plate came with Beans & Rice. This is nothing more than an average establishment. 3 out of 5 stars is very fair. The aguas frescas are amazing and it is really cool that they let you refill your own cup but that is where the greatness ends. The meat in the Tacos, Burritos and etc. Is very cheap quality meat you can taste it right away and it is also very lacking of seasoning very bland. The other thing that I did not like was that fact that the rice and beans are not home made. They are processed right out of a bag just like fast food fries. That gives them a bad bland flavor. The salsas are pretty good. To be honest I do not recommend eating here it is decent but definitely not the best Mexican food by far. This food is not authentic Mexican food it is processed. Also tacos are overpriced and burritos are 70 percent rice and beans.

So the food here is pretty basic and sometimes they don't even put a lot of meat in there foods. I ordered a quesadilla not too long ago, and only half of the carne asada was in the quesadilla and the other half had nothing. They should do a better job by not rushing the orders and taking their time to do things with order. The service is ok and they bring the food out in a somewhat fast pace which could probably explain how dull the food is. Sometimes there are some homeless people that beg for food and do a bunch of dumb stuff, but it just explains how bad the atmosphere is. I still come here because I get invited here by my friends, but honestly street tacos are the win.

Its alright. Not exactly amazing or to travel to come try but its not bad food. Just depends what you get sometimes also. A tiny bit on the pricey side for the quality you dont get but it is a legit business so taxes and all do affect them so understandable.

Not sure why the hype for a 4.4 star rating. Tacos are okay, but nothing amazing. I had carnitas, al pastor and cabeza. Carnitas were a bit weird, more like cubes of pork meat instead of pulled-pork form. Flavor is okay but somewhat mediocre compared to other taco places. I ordered over the phone, was told 5 mins it’ll be ready. I get there and I wait outside for another 20 mins until my food Is given to me and it’s cold and not enjoyable. The people that work there need to be more organize on how they handle phone orders and Uber eats. Under cook meat. They put very little meat on your burrito and tacos. You ask for supreme and it’s just extra sour cream and avocado going bad. I am highly disappointed with their service today. I was the only customer here and yet they managed to get it wrong. First I ordered 2 mulitas of chorizo 1 super quesadilla , 2 order or rice and 2 of refried beans. I get to the second window and I’m given my bag I go through it and I get 1 mulita, 3 refried beans, and 1 rice. I go back and the lady at the window says I was given the correct order and we go back and forth about four times and I finally showed her the items in the bag and my order was indeed incorrect.

This place is Disgusting now. I ordered two asada tacos and a mulita asada. The meat was salty and the type of seasoning they used is nasty. They have changed so much. When they first opened for business the tacos and the mulita was great I would get the same thing every night. Now it seems like they changed the recipe and they use to have white corn tortillas but now they use yellow corn tortillas. They no longer taste like authentic street tacos. VERY DISAPPOINTED..

I love tacos gavilan, love, love it. But I usually go to the one on Garfield and Firestone. This place makes tacos gavilans name look bad. The meat had no flavor and the texture was like ground beef not carne asada. The buche had no flavor. Never coming back to this location again.

Tacos Gavilan is decent but feels pretty white-washed. The flavors are toned down and more commercial than traditional. It’s convenient, but it doesn’t hit the way real taco spots do. I still prefer King Taco — even though it’s expensive, the flavor and authenticity are on another level.
