Very nice atmosphere, with a great view! They're also very welcoming to pets. The pizza was very good, and the beer wasn't bad either. I was a bit disappointed, and that's why I didn't give it full stars, when I heard some waiters talking inappropriately behind customers' backs. We'll definitely be back for the food and the relaxing location... at least until I hear bad things about us too.

We've been there several times; the service is friendly (most of the time). The pizza is very good, the pasta is good but average, the ribs are dry and lack sauce, the tiramisu is delicious, dogs are welcome, the restrooms are a bit odd (a hole), but clean. Good view of the lake.

Lovely setting, good food (pizza was delicious), friendly and efficient staff. We were served very quickly even at peak hour, summer lunch time. Decent value for the location also.

Cozy Lounge atmosphere, close to the lake. Good food and drinks. Prices are moderate. Espresso should have a better temperature when brewing, otherwise it smells burnt and watery. Staff very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.

Sometimes in the summer, at the end of a day spent at Lake Maccagno, we stop at Giona Beach for dinner. The restaurant, practically all simple tables on an outdoor patio, is fortunate to have a spectacular view of the lake, especially at sunset. We've tried several dishes on the menu, including the pizzas, which we found rich and tasty, and the burgers, especially the Angus Tasty Burger, which are always well-cooked and delicious, accompanied every time (it's a ritual for us) by cold Weiss beers. The waiters are all young, some inexperienced, but they've always been helpful and courteous, even on busy evenings. On summer weekends, it's always full, so it's best to reserve! Prices are similar to those in tourist spots, but it's worth trying to eat and drink here while enjoying the excellent view.

Nice place overall, but if you want a Take out pizza maybe you should be one of their friends. I ordered two pizza at 19 but they refused telling me that I cannot order it after a certain hours and that's ok, but why other people after me were allowed to order it for take out? There's special treatment for some people maybe? :) Btw I ordered an Hamburger for my friend (big portion but tasted bland and cheap) some tasty "Spiedini" with roasted potatoes and two toast which were good.

The place is beautiful, with a view of the lake! The staff is rude and doesn't seem knowledgeable; when they bring menus, they don't say hello or even look you in the eye, completely indifferent. The pizzas weren't bad, but they could definitely do better.
