The Fire pepper walnut dip is the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted!
My favorite place for lunch in Williamsburg. Everything is so fresh and delicious.
I love love love this place! The food is so good. The portions are perfect!
Incredible service, food, and variety. This place is better than mainstream salad places and it makes me actually like eating healthy food. I would definitely recommend.
My favorite bowl place in the town. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Seda was so sweet.
Big, chipotle-style, dgaf portions. Single bowl lasts small woman 1.65 meals. Friendly and generous staff. Dolma is fresh.
Super fresh ingredients and good value considering the portion size. I had the spicy salmon bowl - delicious
This place is a great addition to the neighborhood. Clean, fresh, quick, and tasty. Staff are super friendly. Very good WFH lunch option.
Reasonably priced, fresh ingredients, healthy portions, friendly staff. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Williamsburg!
Excellent choice! The food was tasty, value for money and the service friendly and willing to help you! Totally recommended from a Greek Mediterranean! 👌🏼
Delicious and fresh food, very friendly staff, and fast service! Anything else? The desserts... 🥰
One of my favorite spots in ny. Love it so much go at least once a week.
Love the food. Not really a sit down restaurant. They have bar stools. Quick eat and run spot. Lol.
I cannot put my experience here into words so all I’m going to say is just try it for yourself you won’t regret it
I love their chicken and hummus salad. Healthy, delicious, and fairly priced.
Had the spicy salmon bowl and it was so good. This place deserves to be known more in the neighborhood!
Such lovely people, fresh ingredients. The falafel is amazing and crispy!
The flavor is amazing it fills my mouth like fireworks it’s explodes the chicken, vegetables and the wrap
Love the food. It’s healthy, tasty and you feel good afterwards.
What Place This Food Is the Freshest In NyC I Eat There and Can’t Stop Supper Friendly Service And Chef is From Turkey!! Everything Made and Cut Fresh Fresh!!1
Amazing place, great food, so happy to have a new healthy fresh Mediterranean spot in the neighborhood!
Delicious! Super flavorful and fresh, and you get a huge portion for the price.
Amazing food and hospitable staff. Love the hibiscus drink and you HAVE to try the baba ghanoush.
Today, I was in the area where the ROKA restaurant is located. The place is extremely clean, and the staff is respectful and has smiles on their faces. The food has taken you to a different level. I eat a lot, and I can tell you there was nothing wrong, not even with one item. The I I will return!
Best food i’ve had in a while. Felt like i was eating something healthy unlike the five guys i had in the morning lol. And Seda was such a nice young lady. I’ll pay them a visit every time i’m in town.
I’m not going to add an image because I’m halfway through eating my chicken tzatziki bowl and so a photo won’t do it any justice at this time — rather my stopping mid-meal to write a google review hopefully conveys some sense of just how impressed I am with this meal. The quality, freshness, portion-size and flavors of this meal is simply amazing. This is place is an absolute gem.
Fresh good quality ingredients. They just have to pay more attention to making sure the food is cooked to the right level. Sometimes the lentils are undercooked. But overall great experience.
Wow this place is incredible. I am so happy to live close by. The staff is so nice and inviting and the food is amazing. Your bowl will be about 5 pounds when you leave so make sure you are hungry :)
This new kid on the block is SUPER GOOD! Way more home cooked meat than the sleek modern branding would suggest and the veggies are perfectly ripe and delicious. Really impressive. Do yourself a favor and try it!!!
THE. FRESHEST. INGREDIENTS! Service was amazing and worth the long walk in the rain 🌧️☔ to get there. The portions are generous and eating here will give you longevity! Thanks for making my lunch 💯 awesome!
Ozzy is sooo helpful every time I order online she’s quick and reliable ❤️
OMG! I️ just tried Roka Mediterranean and the food is amazing!! The food is simply Beautiful, Fresh Tasty Yummy. My new favorite restaurant I️ strongly suggest that all run do not walk to this Gem in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is warm and inviting The staff is friendly and helpful. Say hi to Ahmed and he'll take great care of you DELICIOUS!!!
In an area where there are great restaurants it’s hard to stand out but this one does and when your hungry you always think of this place as a good option. Tried quite a few dishes but my Chicken Tzatziki Bowl is outstanding. I highly recommend ROKA Modern Mediterranean.
Such a friendly and excellent customer service! Food is great. Yogurt dip, red lentil spread and bulgur became my favorites. Definitely will come back!
Just had lunch here with my cousin. The food was absolutely AMAZING! SO fresh and delicious. Meat is halal too. Friendly and kind service. My new favorite takeout spot!
This place has fresh, tasty, and decently affordable bowls! As a vegetarian, I was super happy to see this place move into the area. Get the lentil bowl, and you won't be sorry!!
Fast casual Mediterranean - and best new addition to the neighborhood! Super fresh, high quality, and well seasoned. I go weekly and always get the beef, tomato rice, bean salad, labneh, and avocado :) CAVA could never!
Really fresh, lots of options/ combinations. You can build your own bowls or choose wraps, salads and/ or bowls. Delicious and not overpriced, love this place!
Took my team here and we all absolutely LOVED our bowls. They also had an amazing dill scone
This is my now go to place when I want something quick and easy. The food makes you feel good and fills you up. Everything feels fresh and tastes good. Highly recommend.
I could eat here daily!!! So fresh and delicious. By far the best counter Mediterranean food I’ve had. And the staff is so nice!! You get a lot for the price, too.
i love the spicy chicken bowl here. definitely the best “bowl” in this area! soooo tasty and nice portion with great ingredients. my favorite for lunch
Roka is a hidden gem just around the corner from where I live, so I come here often for lunch. Everything is made with fresh ingredients and tastes amazing! The portions are big, the prices are great, the staff is always smiling, and the space is clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!
I absolutely loved my experience at ROKA Mediterranean Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern design and Mediterranean charm. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcomed from start to finish. The food was the real highlight—each dish was a flavor explosion! The lemon salmon was baked perfectly and seasoned, the ingredients felt fresh. Can't wait to return!
10/10 food was amazing, fresh, everything was clean. Eze was such a sweet heart she made my experience amazing. This was my first time there but definitely going to be my new spot. I love the food so much the flavors are on point.
Great cute place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. We went in during a summer special and got a free iced tea which was awesome! The portions were generous, def two meals for me. Great value and taste. Will be back!!
Definitely my new fav place! The lemon salmon bowl was phenomenal and the price isn’t crazy. Service is also amazing. Seda and ece are so lovely and helpful. I will come back to try the spicy chicken bowl. Thank you roka!
I live directly across the street but didn’t try Roka until this week…and now I’ve been 3 times 😂. I’m not much of a fast-casual salad person but the food is insanely fresh and the Mediterranean twist just gives it something more. Definitely my new go-to. 🙂
The lemon salmon bowl was super delicious
Best meditarrainian food, Asweme choices, Fresh beyond,,, And beutiful host (Liz)
SO DELICIOUS! I made my own assortment and there were so many options! All of them delicious and homemade. I LOVED the beet hummus, but everything was delicious. I'm glad they don't have one near my apartment or I would be there every other day.
The employee at Roku was so sweet and helpful! The food was fresh and delicious! The perfect spot for a quick healthy bite. I had the avocado salmon bowl and it was fantastic. I wish there was an option for additional whole or mixed veggies on the side, but I was satiated and content when I left. I’ll definitely be going back!
The food was super fresh when I ordered delivery. I was genuinely pleasantly surprised. It was also greatly appreciated that each item was clearly labeled so everyone knew which was theirs. I placed a fairly decent size order for 8 people and the food came in about 35 min! Excellent.
Came for lunch. The food was fresh and really flavorful. I made my own bowl and it was soooo delicious! They are pretty generous with amount of food too. The sweetest girl working there was an extra good vibe and nice addition. Definitely gonna come back here. Really good food.
Back with another professional review: YOU NEED THIS! What good is there not to say about this classic Mediterranean restaurant. If you’re a fan of places like cava, you have to check out Roka while you’re in Williamsburg Brooklyn or, better yet, make a trip on purpose all the way from New Jersey, California or even Brazil like I did. Pros: 1. Serving sizes are huge 2. Food is fresh service is top-tier and excellent. 3. There is a ton of value in the bowls and you will leave for guaranteed. 4. Employees are super nice! Cons: 1. You can’t eat more than one bowl at a time because there’s way too much food 2. You may want to eat here more than two or three times a week, which could potentially get you tired of it, but I cannot confirm that. 10/10 value and quality rating.
I've tried a lot of bowls from a lot of different places, and these bowls are probably my favourite! Their build-your-own-bowl option is highly customizable, and has lots of different options for the base, protein, and veggies. The portion size was good, the price was reasonable, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. I especially loved their flavourful Fire Pepper Walnut Dip. Their bowls are a great takeout option as they still taste good after some time, unlike other foods which might get soggy/cold during the delivery.
One of the best places I’ve discovered all year. Roka is a build-your-own bowl concept superstar. Packed with flavorful proteins, unlimited toppings, and rich sauces that satisfied all my cravings. The winners: tomato bulgur (a creative sub for rice or salad), tender beef gyro (stewed cubes of beef), grape leaves (I usually don’t even love them but these were stellar), fire pepper walnut dip, and the green schug sauce. Have never been more impressed with a neighborhood joint. Will definitely be frequenting this place as I can! The drink selection is also unique and so yummy! 💯
Very good flavours, fresh ingredients and decent value for the size of the portion (although in honesty I’d maybe like more than 3 falafel and less of some other stuff). What I would say though is that this doesn’t necessarily feel “modern” except in the sense that it comes in a bowl. This feels like very homey, rustic Middle Eastern food. I think there is still room within the concept to elevate the seasonings, pickles, etc for example there’s no sprinkle of zaatar or paprika, the pickles could be less traditional, etc. All in all very good! Just hope they can elevate and live up to the modern concept.
amazing spot for a quick takeout lunch— it’s my wburg replacement for cava. massive portions, amazing fresh ingredients, delicious flavors! I can’t wait to be back (several times), this place slaps.
Wasn’t into bowls until I discovered this place. They serve this spicy chicken bowl that blew my mind. So much flavour and quality ingredients. Love the lentil mash and walnut dip… they pick the right ingredients. Only unfortunate part is how far they are from me.
Delicious Mediterranean bowl with all home made ingredients. Toppings are unlimited and the meat is halal. Pricing is reasonable for the amount of food they give. Run by the owners of weekends cafe, so great addition to the neighborhood.
Saw this place when it was still getting built, finally had the chance to go check it out. And I must say, I was not disappointed. I got the bowl, and the options you get are basically endless, the falafel was really really good. Definitely recommend anyone to try this place out. Think about chipotle, but make it Mediterranean.
Came across this store, accidentally when I was coming back from Chase, and I am GLAD I did. Had a wrap from here and it was very good/flavorful. I also like the aesthetic look of the space and the employees were very courteous/helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! A+++❤️
I'm in love with this place. They are like Cava, but better. All the ingredients are super fresh. The beef protein was so tender and juicy. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'll be coming back a lot.

So thankful for this gem in the neighborhood. The food is great - tasty and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating (partner is gluten free, many options !). Love the spicy chicken bowl in particular, but haven’t had a bad meal out of 10+ orders. Thank you.
Truly appreciate the lady behind the counter who helped me after my dish was accidentally taken by another person and gave me a little surprise with it. The falafel is best eaten warm. So be careful with delivery and takeout if you're eating it much later

I love roka... haven't ever had a bad order.
The food was good but the music wasn’t let us have a conversation. I left the restaurant tired just because of high volumes.
Most of the time everything is great except when ordering online they often miss ingredients for the bowl and also the options can be different from what they have at the store. For example, in store they give you complimentary pita chips in your bowl but this is not an option for online orders. Overall really good. Also, I suggest to bring the mozzarella back. I know I’m not the only one who misses the mozzarella balls. At least offer some shredded mozzarella.
Great location, excellent and speedy service. Nice employee. Salmon avocado salad was great, would definitely come back and try another item. Clean store, with plenty of seating.

This used to be one of the best food options around, but they have reduced the portion size and they only give you a quarter of the dips they used to. Not worth it anymore
The comparisons to Cava are baseless. This is based on a Spicy Chicken bowl I ordered today. The spicy chicken itself is DRY despite being in a sauce/ marinade. Overcooked and bland. The toppings selection pales in comparison to Cava and you are limited to just 4 (at least on Grubhub). This is a no-go for me for any Mediterranean bowl place. Edit: Props for the restaurant for taking reviews seriously though! Received a very friendly call from them inviting me to try it again, saying I received a batch not up to par. I'll certainly consider trying again based on this alone.
Only thing great is their falafel wraps. The other items on their breakfast menu, esp wraps, were soggy and icky. They started out smart but the quality seems to be going down.
I recently dined at Roka and had a salmon bowl multiple times, which included beets, quinoa, lentils, wild rice, pickled onions, and labneh sauce. I enjoyed the bowls thoroughly and would definitely order them again. However, I would not recommend the grape leaves, as their taste was significantly off, potentially due to the addition of nutmeg, which is entirely inappropriate for this dish. The baklava was clearly machine-made, lacking in both taste and texture. The rice pudding was overly sweet, which I found unpalatable. Additionally, the pita chips were excessively salty. However, the honey walnut cookie was delicious, as always. Overall, while I would continue to order the bowls and the honey walnut cookie, I would avoid most other items on the menu.
I had the shepherds salad - an average chopped tomato/cucumber mix, the lentil soup - and above average puréed mix, the spicy chicken bowl - far to spicy to enjoy any flavors, it took a container of the rice pudding to cool the burn of one bite. Pudding was good and the portion could be shared, i would have added raisins but thats my preference. The big downside was the slow delivery and the delivery person could figure out how to open the door do he left it down at the street entrance. There are to many other good restaurants in the area to put up a long wait and bad delivery.

I was excited when this place opened and was hoping it would be a non-chain alternative to Cava or Naya. I finally got the chance to try it, and while most of the bowl was good, the chicken was really dry and underwhelming. I ordered the spicy chicken, but the regular chicken looked even less appetizing. I did really enjoy the side options—especially the beets, which I wish the chains offered—and the rice and arugula were solid as well. Overall, they just need a better approach to preparing the chicken. The other spots seem to use grilled thighs, whereas this tasted and looked more like pan-cooked breast.

Quick spot to eat, food wasn’t very tasty, staff was friendly. Not the best representation of Mediterranean food
Second time trying their bowls. Chicken, sauces, bulgur and veggies had no flavor whatsoever. Ingredients seemed fresh and portions are big but I would not come back
Dry bowls sour veggies
If I could give negative stars, I would, the food was so bland and flavorless. The corn was supposed to be "roasted" but it tasted like it came out of a can. They didn't even salt the corn. The greens were wilted, the pilaf was over cooked. The presentation was horrific. 0/10 wont ever eat this crap again.
If i can give this zero i would i ordered a sheperds salad , falafel, chickpeas salad bogo on uber eats i mean at least have it fresh the sheperds sald cucumber was slimy tomatoes half mushy , falafel have no sauce on side maybe i do understand that not guaranteed not a big deal to me but omg the customer service is horrible my first time coming to establishment only to be ignored and given attitude , i say to myself are you serious?just nothing but attitude , questions about stuff ive never ordered mind you i traveled 30 minutes only to be treated like a bum . Its like im living a dream , the place is clean , put together , but its a turn off with that young lady, you never who is patronizing get more training for her whoever she is, maybe i need to wear a buisness suit ? Lol
Depending on who you get your plate will be very little or very light and the bowl they put it in look too big. Some days you get what u paid for and some days you will get robbed of food. For $15 I would expect to not be hungry after eating
Nothing had flavor somehow. I’m not sure the hype, but I strongly don’t recommend it. The hummus wasn’t smooth, mozzarella tasted like water, but the sauces were so bland.
Small portions, not worth the price.
One of worst experience to order and be at that place! Very unprofessional and rude staff, the lady I talked to was not at all helpful to even give information that when my order will be ready! She was just keep pushing on me that we are too busy and my order is not just ready, I asked if it’s not ready and by the time when it was supposed to be and whereas they had not even started to prepare so please cancel as I can’t just keep waiting. But after trying to inquire couple of time, she just has a sold pathetic attitude to say if I understand correctly or not that we don’t have your order ready! Would never ever recommend not coming to this place again! The least they should do is improve attitude to deal with customers specifically if you are tied up with more orders doesn’t mean you push the customer out of restaurant!
Gave 0 warning that the tzatziki had walnuts even though it isn’t normal. Food was fine but not great. Even when my buddy was having an allergic reaction and needed water for care they charged me for a sip of water. Everywhere should be more caring than this place.
Lacking any customer service skills, young lady isn't helpful or catering and if you have any allergy to Fava beans good luck finding out what's in your falafel she doesn't know and not willing to look it up. Shouldn't that be an important fact? Wasn't impressed should have just ate at the moxyhotel instead but live and learn!
Its wild how this place gets the amount of good reviews it has on here. The staff here was really nice and helpful, and the best only good thing about it. The food on the other hand... Let me start by saying just don't, unless you like really bland and flavorless food. The Falafel is offensive, dry, and flavorless. I've had bad falafel before, but this just takes the cake. Don't get me started with the stale pita chips. Highly don't recommend this spot, avoid at all cost. There are better spots if you are looking for something healthy or Mediterranean.
Disappointed with the food! I had a bowl of mixed greens with salmon and avocado, It was not what I expected. Food was a 1 out of 5. The taste and the way it made me nauseous when I tried to eat it. Few hours later, until the next day I felt stomach pain and my stomach was very upset.
I ordered the Mediterranean diet wrap for takeout. The image in DoorDash was nothing like the actual wrap, which was stringy and just two slices of tomato and a chunk of avocado over soggy bits of spinach and peppers. The image also had pickled onions as part of it and they were not included as a side or inside the wrap, so the image is not representative of the actual wrap. The consistency was like dried soup. Definitely not ordering this again, was looking forward to a healthy lunch and this was just a disappointment.
Ordered a chicken wrap through doordash. The wrap itself is a messy kind, so prepare to eat with a fork and knife. It looked big, but it was all lettuce, and the chicken tasted like can food and what dog food would taste like. It was just bad.
