First off, my sandwich was delicious. The staff was very friendly and nice. I enjoy coming here often, and would 100% recommend everything here!! 😁
Always very good service and AMAZING food. Large portion sizes for the salads and the sandwiches always hit the spot.

Service and Food was awesome!!!! 10/10 recommend. Also the young man named Evan is really cool and respectful. He helped me out with questions I had and whatnot. Grilled chicken peato was fire 🔥🔥
Just picked up my order and got a free side sandwich. That was very sweet and the food and service are amazing
Absolutely Worth the Trip from NYC! I traveled all the way from New York City—literally across the country—just to try this West Coast sourdough, and let me tell you: it did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly crisp, the inside soft with that signature tang only real sourdough has. You can taste the care, tradition, and fermentation magic in every bite. It’s hard to find this kind of quality and authenticity back East, so making the journey was completely worth it. If you're a sourdough lover like me, this place is a must. I’d fly those miles again in a heartbeat just for another loaf. Do yourself a favor—go the distance. This is bread on another level.
this young gentleman, evan assisted me, he’s very well spoken, super kind, definitely deserves a raise ! 10/10 recommend getting a cookie while purchasing your sandwich
Absolutely loved this sandwich shop. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, and the Chicken Pesto Sandwich was soo good easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely a 5-star experience.
Their staff is very good and their manager is also very good. The way of talking and the food is very good. New pizza 😋
came all the way from Chandigarh, Punjab — 7,700 miles, 3 flights, 2 airport aunties fighting over carry-on bags, 1 lost suitcase, and zero regrets. Why? To try the legendary West Coast Sourdough. I landed in California, jet-lagged and hungry, ready to throw hands with anyone who got between me and that toasty, crunchy, heavenly bread. One bite of that Turkey Bacon Club and I swear on my chappals, I heard Diljit Dosanjh whisper “swaad aa gaya veere” in my ear. The sourdough? Crispy on the outside, soft like Ammi’s heart on the inside. The meat? Juicier than a monsoon drama on Colors TV. The sauce? I wanted to bottle it and take it back home as “Punjabi achaar.” I shed a single tear, FaceTimed my mom mid-bite, and said, “Ma, I’ve found salvation between two slices of bread.” 10/10. Will cross oceans again. Might even swim next time. P.S. Someone please franchise this in Sector 17. Please. I’m begging.
When I ate from here, my third eye opened. Thank you Manroop for brining me here. But on a serious note, food here is fire and I’m definitely try to come here once a week. The owners are sweethearts and so kind
Love this place. I have gluten allergy and they carry gluten free bread. My husband tried their fall special turkey bacon habanero melt on sourdough bread and he loved it. Definitely gonna go band try one of their salads😊

My experience at this location is fantastic, great food taste had chicken pesto i just luv it for sure going back.🥰
I have come here a few times with my family because everyone loves the fresh baked breads. Usually I get a salad and every great once in a while a sandwich. Their salads are usually great quality with fresh ingredients, however, they have started using commercial salad dressings with their salads which is one of the reasons I would come here. I ordered their Cobb salad per my usual. Most of it was fine except I didn't notice the dressing change until after I ate it. It tasted like the stuff from a commercial bottle or made with Kraft mayo if you know the difference. This is probably fine for the average person but that flavor is not for me. Luckily I ordered a sandwich on the side today. I love French dip sandwiches. To my surprise it had a slice of cheese and what looks like some sort of pimento spread or specialty mayo which was not on my list of things to expect with a French dip. The spread was probably to make up for the au jus which is usually rich and salty but this one was pretty bland. I'm sure all the other sandwiches are fine since my husband finished his entire brisket sandwich. All in all, good fresh sourdough bread sandwiches just don't order French dip 😪
Very delicious sandwiches . The bread is so soft and tasty you can eat it by itself. Definitely come try it. The salad with the jalapeno dressing is a very good choice.
Place is delicious I had the lobster roll and clam shower in a sourdough

First time visiting, got the chowder bowl. I was not disappointed. The food is delicious, no wait in line. Dark theme decorations and great pricing.
Was a little unsettled when I first came in, there was intense Punjabi rap playing and one of the guys was break dancing. When I approached the counter , the host made very uncomfortable eye contact with me that caused me to shiver. I felt threatened. Until he offered me a bite of his vegetarian pizza… we have been friends ever since! (Foods awesome too)

Well we decided to give it try and the service could be a little more friendly. It seemed dry. My friend got one of the specialty sandwiches and the picture it looked amazing. What we go to was a mother story. Barely any meat at all so lloed like we just ordered bread. I should have sent it back, but I was already exhausted from the long day.. I disnt feel like the battle. The bread was delicious. And the girl who brought our food was nice but if you're selling a sandwich make sure to make it like the pictures that are up. I might try it again, we shall see.
Edit. 1st time I was disappointed in the service. I asked for tomato and was told it was in there. I found it after searching. It literally was so thin I missed it. She did not try to resolve the issue and walked away. The amount of lettuce was miniscule as well. I've eaten at another near Turlock & haven't returned to the Madera site. The bread was great but at $11.00 a sandwich, the customer service should be better. I tried it a 2nd time and no complaints. The gentleman that helped me was attentive, good customer service, and my sandwich was great.
Placed an order online and came about 16 min later when the app told me order would be done. Checked in and my order had not even been started yet. Disappointing as I thought placing order online would allow me to come and get order and leave quickly. They seem to be too busy at lunch to get orders done in time so make sure to allocate extra time if you are on your lunch break with limited time, like I was. Still would come here when in the area, but my favorite West Coast is Merced!

In Madera this was my very first time, trying out the sandwiches, only to get disappointed !! my first bite of a sandwich cut the back of my gums ,because the bread was so hard. there was absolutely nothing exciting about the sandwich , it was basic . For $13.50 for a 8 inch sandwich . Never again will I go there? Two thumbs down for me !!!!

Bought a sandwich last week and could not believe how overpriced this place is. They charge so much to add chips and drink, god forbid you want any peppers or extra mayo. Almost $24.00 for one meal, very overpriced!!
