First time here since they support the Wisconsin badgers! Didn’t disappoint! Very good service and food, dessert was also excellent! Will be back!! Can’t wait to bring my wife next time.
Food was amazing and service was top notch. We enjoyed everything that we ordered.
We had a great time at Eno Vino, thanks to the wonderful staff that not only went above and beyond with service, but provided engaging and thoughtful conversation throughout our experience. Our server was attentive and made a custom non-alcoholic mocktail for me alongside keeping the wine flowing for my friend. We loved this place and would definitely return if we are in the area again. 💙
Excellent food. I highly recommend the Tuna, Skirt steak and Creme Brulee.
Excellent food and wine selection. Great atmosphere and service
Restaurant week menu was fabulous!! Thank you!!
First of all we had GREAT service from Zoe our server. She was fast, friendly and very attentive. Food was great too. We ordered the special Two to Tango Dinner for Two which includes great menu choices. The Artisanal Cheese board was way better than we expected - very well put together. We loved the Olive Tapinade and the chef's choice of cheeses. The Bistro Filet I ordered medium knowing it would come The way I wanted it medium rare! It was very good. The Garlic Shrimp Fettucine was a winner too! This special includes a bottle of wine for $30 so we picked Cotes Du Rhone, a French Paul Jaboulet Red Blend wine. So smooth, a blend of 4 different grapes. We finished with Dulce de Leche Hojaldre dessert. Very yummy and a perfect finish.
This upscale date night spot on the west side is definitely one of our go-tos. One of our favorite shareables is the Thai Chicken Flatbread.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Eno Vino. The staff were very accommodating as we had our baby son with us. The food was excellent and I would happily recommend this restaurant to others.
Excellent dishes. Loved the sauces of each. It's a spendy place, so I won't be going regularly. I do wish the shrimp dish had more shrimp. The green beans were delicious.
Natalie was very sweet & accommodating. She helped me find a dessert I could have that was gluten free! I also recommend the crispy lobster & street corn :) Overall, amazing atmosphere & vibes here. Definitely try the new fall drinks; so yummy!
The service was attentive without being overbearing. The meal was wonderful. The tomato soup was the best I have ever had. Nothing was disappointing. When we come back to the area, we will definitely return.
Eno Vino did not disappoint. The evening with our friends was perfect. The espresso martini was rich and creamy. The appetizers were packed with flavor, but not filling. The truffle fries were crunchy with a definite truffle flavor. The tuna was fresh and tasty, with just a touch of wasabi. The bruschetta was also fresh, a mix of salty and sweet. My filet was a perfectly prepared medium, tender and marshmallow soft. The beurre rouge was a wonderful complement to the dish. I also loved the scallops. Buttery garlic pieces of bread rounded out the soft and scrumptious scallops, sweetened ever so slightly by the pieces of fig. Our table was totally satisfied with the ‘hot chocolate brownie’. It really tasted like hot chocolate! The slightly roasted marshmallows and crunchy brown sugar topping just took the dessert to another level. Yummm. But, I hope to return soon, and get a taste of that ‘Wisconsin Winter’ dessert.
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at Eno Vino. The wine carafe we got was delicious and affordable. We got the Thai salmon cakes and chef’s special which was a skirt steak and both were outstanding! Our waitress could have been more attentive but we will be back
I have enjoyed every experience I’ve ever had here! Today was a special day, Mothers Day! So I captured every wonderful moment of it to share with others! First we started with Chipotle Potato soup… YUM! Next, we had the Barbacoa. These were so full of flavor, we almost ordered more. Then we had the Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas. Not the first time, not the last!!! Next came the Scallops. Listen, if you haven’t eaten this dish in your life time, you’re not living. I will order this meal every single time I come here! It’s so buttery, melt in your mouth, delicious. Thank me later!! Lol. After the scallops, the Mussels came out. First they were sweet, I thought a little too sweet, but then it had a little heat on the back end and guess what? Best Mussels I’ve had in a VERY long time. (Ask for a second helping of bread! There is so much sauce to soak up, and well worth the carbs. Or ask for a straw, it’s that good) We thought we were done but then saw the Hawaiian Steak so of course, we had to try it. And ya know what, just order it…. Don’t even question if you’re to full at this point. Just do it!! There was no need for a dessert because at this point, we’re stuffed. But it’s Mothers Day and the baby just fell asleep so why not? We got the Wisconsin Winter. It wasn’t my cup of tea but it had great flavor! My significant other enjoyed it very much!! Special thank you to our server, Kyle, he did an amazing job and was patient with us while we ordered half of the menu. Haha. Thank you Eno Vino West for an amazing Mothers Day Dinner!!!
Short and sweet - excellent food, excellent atmosphere, and excellent service. It was our first visit and we had Kate as our server and she helped make the whole experience wonderful from start to finish. The food really speaks for itself. The flavors of the dishes were so cohesive and melt in your mouth. We came here for a special occasion and can't wait to go back.
Fantastic atmosphere and everything was fresh, creative and delicious. Wide selection of shareable dishes that will satisfy any craving. Would absolutely come back again.
We love Eno Vino all the time, but especially at Valentine's Day! ❤ Their special 5-course meal is not only delicious (especially with the wine pairings!), but it's also a beautifully orchestrated event to attend. Is our new favorite Valentine's tradition!
I love this place!!! Just as good as the downtown location and the food and service is phenomenal! Their savory goat cheese pancakes are something else! I could eat them everyday!!! Very good drinks too!!! This is a place you go when you want to celebrate something special or treat someone you really love!
The tapas were soo tasty from the truffle fries to the crab cakes to the delish hearty baked flatbread. The flatbread was just the perfect amount of crispy. We will return.
It's most bites are designed as shareable plates/bites so don't expect huge portions. But it's more noteable for their drinks so they're made that way to pair I believe. Just know that going in
Food was amazing! Wines were excellent! Service was great. They were able to change menu items for my kids which is so helpful. The kids loved the chocolate fondue desert! Would highly recommend.
Stopped in here on an overnight trip to Madison Valentines weekend. You can’t tell from the outside - but the adage of don’t judge a book by its cover holds true in this case. The ambience is incredible, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. It isn’t always easy to find outstanding service : This was above and beyond. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.
I love this place! I’ve come here numerous times for all different occasions - after work, for dates, and girl’s night out. All the food I’ve had here has been delicious. I love their green beans! All the cocktails I’ve had have been well made and yummy!
Food and service was excellent. Perfect for a special occasion. I recommend doing the two can tango 3 course meal for 2.
One of our favorite places to eat! The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated. The atmosphere is warm and romantic. The food options are wonderful! Crispy lobster, truffles fries, and wonderful Flatbread pizzas are just 3 of the great choices! Great wine.
Beautiful decor and excellent food. A bit on the pricey side. Cream of Bacon soup, Scallops and Sea Bass, and Peach Cobbler.
I ordered the fish fry, ketchup was spicy, if you want another tarter sauce it’s $1.00 extra, extra cole slaw $5.00, I didn’t feel the fish with fries and cole slaw was worth $18.00. Fish and fries were extremely salty.
The atmosphere is top notch - wine bar meets bistro! The ahi tuna tacos were so full of flavor, it was amazing!
Overall we’d definitely recommend this place! The staff were friendly and the food was tasty! We treated ourselves to…a lot. The good: - Scallops with French Toast and Truffle Butter (super tender scallops with a beautifully savory French toast) - The Crispy Lobster (fried lobster with a sweet and creamy sauce with - tangy and savory) - Center Cut Steak (cooked well, potato pancakes were super tender and buttery) - Cheese Board (ample sides and fair amounts of cheese) - The Wisconsin Winter [dessert] (like a crunchy funnel cake with caramelized banana and vanilla ice cream) The Bad/Mediocre: - Korean Short-rib Potstickers (great idea but poorly executed; fairly bland flavor; served at room temp; honestly Costco has better potstickers for a MUCH lower price) - Center Cut Steak (not cooked to order - we ordered medium but got medium rare / rare instead) - Lemon Crusted Salmon (the salmon was somewhat dry and so was the lemon crust but still flavorful!) - Old Fashioned and Purple Rain drinks (pretty mediocre; nothing to brag about)
The food is very good but the portion sizes are very small and very expensive. I like the lobster, Flatbread, and steak. Also very good mocktails. I did not like the truffle fries. The oil wasn't hot enough and it was super soggy
The food was better than downtown, but the atmosphere wasn't. A family with small dog was sat next to us. The restaurant was not packed on a Monday night. My partner was uncomfortable eating with a dog roaming on the same bench he sat so close to us even while on a leash. We asked to move and then our anniversary night was better.
Excellent and nicely plated food. Most of our dishes were exceptionally tasty (though the dumplings were merely good). A few of the small plates (e.g., grilled octopus) were so meager that sharing was impractical - even though the menu header states “to share” and the prices suggest a more generous portion. Considering this is a wine bar, the staff seemed lacking in knowledge on their wines. Recommend.
Modern, exceptional views of the capitol. They didn't have all the ingredients to make my beverage which was odd since it is quite common but the food was exceptional. Pricey. Valet parking available for $8. Mussels, brussel sprouts, scallops with sea bass and filet photos.
What a dinner we had! We came for the restaurant week specials and I can tell you right off the back they did not disappoint. Let's get some details out of the way first. I filled out the 'special request' section on opentable it seems like no one in the restaurant was aware of it, not a huge deal but if you do have a special request I would recommend trying another avenue. Secondly, we ordered an additional item (bruschetta) and requested it with our appetizers, it arrived midway between the main course and dessert. Lastly, my girlfriend and I had just finished our January Daniel Fast so our taste buds were slightly deprived leading up to this meal. Now, onto the meal! We decided to go with a bottle of the Louis Martini 2020 Cab. Take that as you will. The beets with the verde sauce were very tasty, the whipped goat cheese was light and delightful. The tomato soup.... I would do vaguely unethical things to eat this on a regular basis! Holy moly I was blown away by the flavors of the soup and the surprise grilled cheese garnish was just amazing. I would eat this all day every day. Bury me with it. The barbacoa tacos with consomé, also a big winner here. Delightfully spicy and tender. The shells were unique without getting in the way. The whole flavor was magical... I wish I had been the one to order it. The salmon was good, also tons of flavor with a deliciously crispy skin. The curry sauce with the veggies was delightful and I would have liked more of it. If you're normally a fish person I think you will enjoy this a lot. The only problem with it was that it was not the above. C'est la vie. The fresh mozzarella bruschetta was also simply divine. Tough to eat a whole piece while getting mozzarella in both bites though. It was more than enough and we ended up taking half home. The desserts were delicious and decadent and everything we had been missing while not eating sugar for the past 21 days. I preferred the creme brulee, which was a little eggy, over the cheesecake which had a tougher texture. They both had the caramel/burnt sugar going for them but it shined more in the creme brulee so if you want something fruitier I would stick with the cheese cake. All in all we had a wonderful time and left in high spirits! Thanks so much for the wonderful meal Eno Vino!
Good was good just didn't like how everything was "shareable." When going to dinner with a group for business, this was uncomfortable passing dishes around hoping there would be enough for what you wanted.
If you like having those little small plates of food where you can all share, it’s excellent. The food is excellent service is really good. It’s really fun to even sit at the bar and eat because you can have a glass of wine with your friend or just by yourself you can eateverything’s really good and it’s kind of a fun experience because you’re passing foods around the monster selves, I would recommend it for sure.
This was not an experience that we are used to getting from Eno Vino. We had reservations, but waited for the host for almost 5 minutes to greet us. After being seated, it seemed quite relaxed and not very busy. We were celebrating Mother's day early. My family of 4 were all dressed up for a fancy meal, but the experience didn't live up to our normal. The food was exceptional, but lacked excitement. Part of the experience is how the wait staff present the food and go the extra mile to check in if you need extra drinks, making sure everything arrived as it is supposed to and clearing off excess dishes. We received one dish (green beans) with something to serve with, however the risotto had no spoon which is odd and the server didn't come until we had chosen to use our forks to serve ourselves and the plate was near empty when we finally were able to mention something. Also I feel a small cheese knife and a few small spoons for the spreads on the cheesboard would be a great addition. At the end of the meal we chose to order desert. We again were shocked by the lack of service when the waitress brought our dessert and didn't think to clear our dishes from the table first. At the rate we are paying for these shareables, we expected much better and have received much better service in the past. Some menu updates and training for table service needs to improve before we choose to done here again.
Came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary but honestly, the service and atmosphere were nowhere near what we expected. Initially planned to go to the Downtown location but decided last minute to give the west side one a try. This will probably be our first and last time visiting. We were all dressed up and even after informing the waitress that we were celebrating our 13th anniversary, nothing special was done and the atmosphere was so bland and basic. could have as well gone to any other restaurant. The food was ok. We went for the two to tango dinner special but the selection on that specific menu was limited. Enjoyed the Garlic shrimp fetuccine. My husband went for the braised brisket, but I have to say, there was nothing braised about that brisket. More like slow cooked with little flavor. Overall, not a bad location but the vibe and service felt off and totally did not meet our expectations.
Nice ambiance, low key, low light, cozy bar and bistro. Bar seating is best but they have even room that’s handy for personal and business events. It’s known for date-night scene. Food is moderate; not the best but not the worst. You can expect some level of quality. Service is great - they are attentive and friendly. It’s in a strip mall with free parking so you can park easily in front of it or very near it.
We attended need the NYE dinner. The food was good. However, the execution on their 5 course meal needed some work. The food was not warm, they put us all on top of each other around the outside of the dining area and left the majority of the center tables empty and the scallops were the tiny ones. We will try it again, not during a special event but I hope they improve their execution of special events.
Service was catastrophically poor, along with atmosphere and ambience. Served by Jen M? Indicated on my reservation that it was a 30th birthday celebration and there was zero acknowledgement of that and no suggestion if birthday dessert to make it special. Server didn't bother highlighting featured menu items or explaining the menu even a little, and couldn't be bothered to fully clear the table or go around the kitchen to hand us plates etc from the aisle. For how upscale the restaurant is supposed to be, this was a huge let down. You get better service at Chick fil A. I hate to say it, but prejudice may have played a role here because the same server was much better to the non-minority family folks seated beside us, explained menu highlights, checked on them multiple times, and even asked if they're celebrating anything special. It's 2024, why are we still here ... 🙄 In any case, the food was pretty decent, though I'd stay away from the crispy lobster - definitely a disappointment there. Overall, I would stick with the downtown EnoVino location if considering an upscale night out. It's harder to book so try to book way in advance, but it's a significantly better experience.
Honestly had high expectations. We really wanted it to be good. We got the cheese platter with Brie, smoked Gouda and Fontina. I’ve had better Brie from Aldi and it would be very hard to mess up Fontina or smoked Gouda. Came with 6 crostinis. For the price very disappointing. Then we had green beans, steak dish, mussel dish, and chicken skewers. Everything was average. There was nothing that truly stood out despite our want for it too. Sadly we also had a hair in our green beans… things happen. The total bill was over 350 dollars. The best thing we had was the charred Caesar salad but it was 14 dollars. The creme brulee was for dessert and was good but honestly as people who like to go out for good food it was disappointing. Would not return.
Unfortunately, while we dined there was an electrical issue which caused smoke to come out of the vents. It took close to 10 mins for the manager to let everyone know to evacuate and have the FD come. We all stood outside for close to 30 mins until the restaurant was cleared and we were allowed back in. Prior to evacuation we were in the middle of a course. Upon returning inside, our waitress came and removed the cold food (which we had not finished) and we ordered 3 additional tapas. She delivered 2, then came asking about dessert. We requested our missing tapa, she apologized and brought new place settings. She returned again asking about dessert and leaving the check. At this point we had ordered the missing food 3 times. When reviewing the bill, we found it had included the charge for the food. We requested that charge removed since we never received it and we paid and left. We never received an apology or visit by manager or anything related to the inconvenience of standing in the cold for 30m either. Many patrons left during that time and sadly we probably should have also. The food we did eat was delicious but due to the service we won't be returning anytime soon.
This place is just okay but don't go there is you have food allergies. I went with friends and they couldn't accommodate almost anything one person asked for. There wasn't even an effort to take meat off a dish so they could have the other vegetables, when it could have easily been done. The service was just okay too. They didn't seem to know the menu very well. Maybe it's just this one Eno Vino and another one would be better but the West one is just okay. There was also no prices on their liquors so make your own conclusions there.
Went in to Eno Vino on Junction Road. Oh, how this location has changed. Please keep in mind that this review has nothing to do with the bartender that helped us, She was absolutely fantastic, But the manager is a complete different story. We used to come to this location at least once a week. Never again will we ever go to this location because of this manager. The manager, Andi has completely ruined this location. By far one of the rudest managers I have encountered In any restaurant. She clearly needs to take a lesson from anyone off the street to learn customer service, Or even she will learn something from a five-year-old on how to give fantastic customer service and how important customers are to their business. Customers or the staff are clearly not a priority to her because she treats everybody horrible including her staff. The bartender (Kate) working there got scolded multiple times for talking to the customers too long and told the bartenders to clean up the bar areas when her lazy you know what and was just standing there watching. I asked Andi for some silverware to eat our apps when they arrived and she says “it’ll be a minute. I’ve got to finish something”, So, in the meantime, while I’m waiting for 10 minutes to get my silverware, all my food got cold. Take my advice and avoid this location as long as the manager Andi is still there..she is absolutely a horrible manager. We will never go back there because of this manager. We would rather drive an hour away than drive 10 mins to go to this location!
Do not order. This was such a disappointment and waste of money. The portion size was tiny and it arrived cold. The downtown location serves the same – but in a much more substantial portion.
Very disappointed in Eno Vino last night where a number of things happened that we decided to leave. Had 7:15 reservations, and came early to have a drink at the bar. After waiting a while, the bartender served us water and a menu and then we sat there for about 10 more minutes with no service. Our table was ready so we left the bar - no drinks. Two of us were seated at a table for 6 which was not ideal, especially since the far end of the table was in the way of the wait staff and they had to scoot around it every time they passed. We ordered drinks and were a bit grossed out by all the dirty glassware piled on the bar in the same area where the bartenders were mixing and serving drinks. The whole time we were there, that pile of dirty glasses was not moving. After another long while when we still did not have our drinks we were contemplating leaving. When our waiter came by and said our drinks are almost up, we were done. After 45 minutes in a wine bar, we had not been served a drink. It wasn't worth our wait to find out how long our food would have taken. They were busy but looked like they had plenty of staff, and overall it was unacceptable.
The review that said, how this location has changed was correct. We haven't been here in awhile, I had great meals in the past but this one tonight was disappointing. The skirt steak was hard to cut & even with the sauce on it, it was pretty tasteless. The asparagus was not tasty either, they served the thick part not the tops where the flavor is. The green beans were not cooked enough & super crunchy. I feel their kitchen staff is too inexperienced. The service was slow. Too much money to spend for a less than stellar meal. We won't be back!
I dined here with a friend, and I can confidently say this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. We arrived early when the restaurant was nearly empty, but our server seemed frazzled from the start. My friend received the wrong drink, and when we pointed it out, the waitress said it was for another table. Then she tried to take my drink too, even though I told her it was correct. I had already taken a sip, but she grabbed it anyway. It seemed like she was planning on taking both drinks to her other table rather than asking for new drinks to be made for them. When I reminded her again that I had already drank from mine, she snapped, "Fine! Have it then!" and stormed off with my friend's drink. Ordering food was thankfully uneventful, but when we finished and asked for the dessert menu, she forgot it twice before finally bringing it. We both ordered crème brûlée, then waited over 20 minutes. When she finally came back, she blurted out, "I’m having a shitty night! What is it you guys need now?" in an exasperated tone. When we said we were waiting on dessert, she snapped, "Yeah, they’re working on it!" as if we were out of line for checking in. The food itself was fine, but the service was so unprofessional that it completely ruined the experience. I understand that restaurant work can be stressful, but taking frustrations out on customers is unacceptable.
