The DQ is Madisonville is like, THE PLACE for locals. Everybody goes to DQ... Especially after church in Sunday evening and everybody knows everybody. Used to go there with my friends, Jean and Lairy Nofsinger and they were both retired teachers. Lairy was a local celebrity: If he didn't teach you how to swim, he taught your kids how to swim or your grandkids how to swim. Everyone misses Lairy... Mention his name at the DQ and everyone will have a story...

Sunday afternoons most weeks include a trip to Dairy Queen! Quickdependable service, great ice cream dishes. Plain cones, dipped cone, Blizzards- banana for my husband and Butterfinger for me; strawberry sundaes and Cherry misty have made for a wonderful summer!

They had a long line in the drive through. It was worth the wait for sure. The service was good and the food was great. I will definitely go back again.

I FINALLY got a hot chuckwagon sandwich that was so delicious! With a strawberry/banana smoothie that absolutely made me see stars! Possibly from a brain freeze but either way it was perfect! We usually use the drive thru. They always get our order right. The people taking care of us are so friendly and polite. Even if the line is long, it still moves quickly. Great job employees.

This place is the best! They are the cleanest restaurant out there, they never run out of anything, and it’s just overall very well-managed. Plus, who doesn’t love a blizzard?! It is one of the few places in this town that is consistently great.

Madisonville Dairy Queen is always a great place to eat. The atmosphere and service are always excellent. The food is what you would expect from a fast food place. I prefer the chuckwagon, and I have heard about the chicken tenders being very good. It can get a bit congested on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend.

My family and I drove from another town to eat at this Dairy Queen because my boyfriend spoke so highly when he was in Madisonville for work. The food was hot and fresh, the employees (teenager’s) were very respectful behind the counter and even on their breaks in the lobby area. We will definitely be coming back to this location more.

I absolutely love going to Madisonville Dairy Queen. The management is good to both customers and employees, the staff are always welcoming and go above and beyond all the time, and the food is always good. Glenda, the manager, keeps the highest quality of product moving through here and takes product quality and workplace cleanliness very seriously. 10/10 would recommend.

I love the individual ice cream cakes! Also the chicken strip basket. I could drown myself in that gravy! The buffalo option is also great! The place is a little too churchy for me though so I don't go inside. The new drive thru configuration is a bit awkward, especially for natives of the area. Free wifi is nice.

Stopped by for a late supper, drive thru was full, so decided to go in. I will say I ended up waiting a little longer than I'd like to, but it was worth it. Not only did they profusely apologize, they let my 3yr old come behind the counter to make her own ice cream. This was my daughter's 1st trip ever to DQ & I'm so happy that it became memorable. Great job and delicious food.

I have been through the drive thru multiple times a week for over a year. Food is always fast, fresh, and correct. Employees are always happy and very good at their jobs. Service is always fast, but never rushed. Other restaurants in town should feel ashamed, this DG moggs the competition like you would not believe. THIS IS LITERALLY THE ONLY DEPENDABLE FAST FOOD IN TOWN. It truly is a blessing.

I love Dairy Queen. The burgers are hot and delicious, the ice cream is cold and just right. They have a good selection of both. Kids meals come with a free ice cream instead of a toy, which is welcomed in the warmer months. The atmosphere is nice, the history if the place goes back many years. After church on Sundays and Wednesday night's you'll find the cars out in the road waiting for some DQ ice cream. They still have the chairs that spin, and the outdated but very quaint layout inside. A go to for dinner or a dessert!

While still perusing the menu, I was asked by three different employees of I was ready to order yet.. all within 15 seconds. When I did eventually order my food, it was ready very quickly. Everything was prepared correctly and I didn't have a single complaint. Well, I did have one complaint. I should have ordered an Orange Julius!

Somewhat more expensive than your typical DQ due to not having common deals like the 5 Buck Lunch and the Hungry Up Meal. On the flip side, you can still get items that have been discontinued at other Dairy Queen restaurants, like the chuckwagon sandwich and the cheddar cheese balls (not cheese curds). On balance, I think that is worth it.

Family night, food was kind of plan. Blizzards were great. Restaurant was very busy and staff stayed correct, fun and polite.

Food is a bit pricey, but everything I have had was really good.

I really enjoy their food I enjoy the environment I got good people the price is a little steep but they say you get what you pay for of course.

I live Dairy Queen, and stop in frequently, I get a blizzard, snickers with no hot fudge and add extra snickers. The last 2 times I paid for the extra snickers and DID NOT get extra, and the amount of candy I was given wasn’t a lot ! I don’t mind paying the extra money, but would like to get what I pay for. I am very disappointed!!!

Went through the drive thru for a King BBQ basket and the BBQ was good as it usually is. Fries were as well. The Cole slaw was not fresh but in all fairness it usually is and is one of my favorite slaws from any restaurant. I've eaten at this DQ for most of my life and it always seems to have good food. The ice cream I get there is always great.

Been a minute since I stepped in the place but when I went thru drive-thru, my order was correct and my road dog, Tiff, enjoyed her pup cup so much that she didn't make a mess.

Great atmosphere. Food is always fast and fresh. My only complaint is the seating. Most seats aren't designed for larger people. And let's face it, this is where us large people go.

We recently visited this DQ location in the evening for 2 Blizzards. We ordered using the drive through, and were at the servicing window in 7 min. The service was great, the blizzards were as described on the menu and were tasty. Highly recommended for an after dinner treat.

Any resident of Hopkins County knows this is the best Dairy Queen for miles. I've never had a bad experience with them; Orders are always right, food/Ice Cream always great. It's the only Dairy Queen I like to go to because they're unlike the others in the chain. If not for any other reason, the Fried Cheeseballs is enough of one. However... the one thing that keeps it from being 100% is whoever decided the location... far too close to the road, resulting in annoyingly long lines out to the main road most every time I go there. To clarify, it's not because they're slow, it's because everyone loves them! They could also stand to update their look... less "Marker on Construction Paper" and more sleek and professional would be nice... but I suppose it could be seen as "small town charm".

Went today and got chicken basket. Chicken had weird flavor and gravy was watered down.

Tried the new reeses cup pie blizzard. Tasted like a reeses cup blizzard with whipped cream. Not worth getting again

Employees are friendly and served customers in a timely fashion but the mask policy was not at all enforced and the waiting area was very crowded especially considering none of the customers we were wearing masks. Will not return until covid is past

Cashier didn't know how to apply a coupon in drive thru. She called someone else over for assistance. That person basically admonished me for not giving them the coupon earlier even though the coupon was supposed to be scanned....telling me that now they "would have to re enter the order"...definitely not customer friendly.

All about the drink here. Unfortunately my grilled chicken sandwich was bland, dry, and tasted like it was boiled from frozen and then seared for marks. Now my drink on the hand was fire. Got a banana and strawberry smoothie made with water cause I'm lactose intolerant and can't do yogurt. Only place around here where I can get that. Thank you dq.

Friendly service, good food but they need to verify the order better. My wife requested unsweet tea but got sweet instead which she doesn't like at all. Ended up giving her my drink because I can tolerate it but it wasn't what I wanted or ordered.

Dairy Queen at this location could sure take lessons from Chic fil a on how to get cars through the line quicker. I sat in line for 20 minutes before I could even get my order in. Have zero complaints about food. But it’s sure not fast food.

Should be called greasy queen with half cooked fries. Like most fast food quality is not a priority.

Didn't exactly dislike all tht I ordered but didn't care for one of the items. The Peanut Butter Pie Blizzard. Guess it was the brand of peanut butter n it but tasted artificial to me. I did like my cheeseburger. Wished the onion rings hd more onion n less batter

Usually I order the chicken basket but this time the chicken tastes old or a different type of flour that didn't taste that good. The drive thru went quickly.

Bought two large breaded mushroom baskets that is expensive in itself. I asked for horseradish sauce. Horseradish sauce was so old and GRITTY that I almost got sick at the first taste. YUCK!!! Now I know why they gave me a bag full when they usually give only a couple. SHAME SHAME DQ.

When did the product go down in quality? The gravy used to be thick and milky, now it's the consistency and color of white snot with no flavor. The breading falls off the chicken strips. This place is clean, and the people are nice, it's just the quality of the foods.

My fiance and I decided to stop here for ice cream and some one on one time seeing as we have had visitors all week long. The place was clean. We ordered a peanut buster parfait and a banana split. I asked for extra hot fudge on the peanut buster parfait, I dont mind paying for extra toppings if I get them. There were nothing but kids working at this point. I didnt get extra hot fudge at all, when I mentioned this all she said was sorry. I paid for it, I get it. Not to mention the banana split was horribly made and the toppings had a funny taste. We wont be going back there for quite a while.

The ice cream and food are great, but some of their employees are super rude. I recently went there and ordered a Blizzard. They put the wrong stuff in it, so I said something to them. The manager slammed the Blizzard into the garbage and angrily moved an employee out of the way to make me a new one. I've been avoiding the location since then.

We stopped for ice cream and the sundaes both were full of puddles of water around the ice cream- wth? Straight into the trash. Why was there water in the sundae??

Health department needs to inspect they made multiple blizzards and never once cleaned or even rinsed the blender machine this is ok unless you ask the to make sure your allergens are avoided tell them what they are then watch them make a peanut butter blizzard and then make the one you ordered with the peanut butter blizzard still on the blender

Kinda got upset driving all the way from Hanson to find out they lied about hours. Says online they close at 10pm on Tuesday and I got there at 9:30pm and they were closed and would not let me place a order

This location is alright as far as Dairy Queen’s go. However, 4 out of the last 5 times I’ve been through the drive through and specifically ordered a “Reese’s peanut butter cup blizzard,” they give me a heath bar blizzard. 4 out of 5 times. That is unacceptable.

The quality of meat has decreased significantly over the past year. The patties are comparable to lunch room dining. I wouldn't recommend this location.

Honestly they have one of the rudest smart mouthed little girls working for them. They stiff a customer ten dollars then Refuse to count down the drawer until that night because it was to much of a hassle to do the right thing here. Then when said customer takes to Facebook to find out who the GM is one of their employees decides not to represent DQ in the greatest light. Horrible. Get som customer service skills hunny.

Ok let's start off by saying when I was a kid dairy queen was like a major event in our house. My mom and dad both worked and we were still to poor to afford eating out. So when my dad got a better job we were allowed to eat out once a month. Dairy Queen and A&W Root beer was my favorite. What happened to it I went through a couple times with the same results very disappointed and just discussed. When did they start cutting up your weiners before putting them on your bun I mean last time I had a cut up weiner was when I was a little kid. Just really sad that something that brought back such good memories has been totally screwed up. Thanks alot DQ

Order was incorrect again. The quality of food was disgusting ice cream is fine but burgers and soggy chicken tenders yellow gravy and water sour cream and taco salad that was soggy and the beef ice cold it was terrible.

Was told in the phone that DQ app works at this restaurant for rewards. Drove there on my lunch break and the drive through says it does not it has to be a digit code. So I bought the food anyways. The food was not like a normal DQ chicken basket and the food was not very good or quality. Gravy was old and weird texture. My Large sweet tea tasted old. Not a good experience and do not plan on going back.
