Espectacular la tortilla con cebolla, pero lo de los callos ya es otro nivel. He probado callos en decenas de sitios y los de Casa Dani son, sin duda, los mejores que he comido. Espectaculares. El servicio muy bueno, cogí una esquina en una tabla y las chicas atienden super rápido y amables. El ambiente del mercado genial, le da un toque más castizo al sitio. Desde luego es un sitio que no te puedes perder si visitas Madrid.

Fuimos a Casa Dani y nos encantó. No aceptan reservas, pero fuimos temprano y no tuvimos que esperar. La tortilla de patatas con cebolla estaba espectacular; las croquetas y el pulpo a la gallega también estaban muy ricos. Sin duda, volveríamos para probar más cosas de la carta. Muy buen ambiente y un sitio totalmente recomendable si visitas Madrid.

Súper sitio recomendado en el Mercado en pleno centro del barrio Salamanca para degustar uno de los mejores pinchos de tortilla de Madrid por 4'5€. Sabor muy bueno, punto de sal perfecto y poco cuajada sin estar líquida, con cebolla por supuesto. Un pincho para una persona te quedas bastante satisfecho con tu ración de pan incluida. Si es para compartir con otros platos mejor pedir uno También hay otros platos y tapas típicas madrileñas como pisto con huevos, oreja, torreznos, carrilleras, etc, todo casero y muy rico. La atención muy buena, personal muy amable y rápidos. Hay zona de barra aunque al fondo también hay mesas para poder sentarse más tranquilamente. Para repetir!!

Came here three time during my three-day stay in Madrid. Also found out an interesting Phil’s show from the comment. Service was excellent, always with a big smile. I’d suggest to come in early to avoid the queue during lunch. If the one in the market is busy, you can go out and turn right where there’s another Dani on the Calle Lagasca street. Tips: Half-portion is enough for one person. Was here for lunch. Located in the midst of the market. The restaurant was a little cramped but it was totally worth it. We got recommendations from the server and he did a great job! Every single dish introduced was delicious! And to seal the deal was the cheese cake! A must have when visiting! Servers were all busy but always ready to help with a smile.

Have to say, Phil was damn right about this place. Our first time, didn’t know what to expect, what to order, we just asked them to recommend what they wanted us to experience and just had to be sure it was enough for 2. Everything suggested and served were amazing! From their Spanish omelette, to their sous vide artichoke, lamb chops and even their homemade cheesecake! Definitely a must visit when in Madrid.

Amazing tortilla de patatas (Spanish omelette)! Came here with my friend at noon and ordered a giant tortilla de patatas with chorizo and bacon for 18 euros to share, along with two beers. We wanted croquettes as well, but the waitress said that the omelette would be too much food already. We didn't believe her until we saw it! It was gigantic, loaded with potatoes, onions, and meat. It was also semi-cooked, which gave the inside a super rich and creamy flavor. Definitely one of a kind, I'd highly recommend trying the tortilla de patatas, especially at Casa Dani!

What a great place to have a quick snack. Located in the Mercado La Paz, Casa Dani is know for their torta. Thanks to #jamesblick we found it. He was correct. It is amazing. We had the torta and croquettas, with of course, a beer and a vermouth. The torta was filled with potatoes, ham and eggs. Cooked to perfection. I thought it would be mushy, but it was not. I really loved it. As for the croquettas (jamon), they were perfection. Would just go back? Absolutely 💯.

So mercado de la Paz is our last spot in Madrid before we catch a night train to Barcelona. We're mulling whether to grab something to eat from inside the market or find a sit down spot nearby with outdoor seating. This place came up in both ChatGPT and Gemini as a "do not miss", "quintisential" experience to have in the mercado de la paz neighbourhood... So walk upto the waiter and ask for a place for 2..... Thankfully for us, a couple had just got done and was vacating their space so we were accomodated there, otherwise even at 6.45 PM which is very early for dinner in Madrid, the place was completely full We heard that this place was famous for its spanish omlettes and had options that satisfied both factions of the debate "con/sin cebolla"... Being firmly on the "con cebolla" side of the debate, we got the with onions option or course Their omlettes are a bit on the runner side... But that was fine by us... We got a "half omlette" which was a huge portion and in hindsight a quarter (also on the menu) would have done just fine too 😅😅 the tortilla was great ... I am still more partial to the one I make at home but I will give these guys the silver medal 😝 We also got a plate of croquettes with tomato mozzarella which had a very consistent and smooth filling and a crunchy exterior. Very balanced and great as bar food.... Service was quick and prompt... the place is clearly a local favorite and that's always a strong stamp of approval that merits a visit

Unas de las tortillas mas buenas que he comida en mi vida. Los pimentos rellenos de bacalao son espectacular el bacalao se derretir en tu boca. La alcachofa en confit esta super bueno pero la torta de queso esta marvilloso.

Comida casera de verdad a 14€ menú diario, increíble precio para los atracos acostumbrados. Por lo que te cuesta dos cafés y un muffin en el Barrio Salamanca, aquí comes bien. El pote gallego delicioso.

Íbamos con muy buenas expectativas, pero para nosotros la tortilla está sobrevalorada. Con esto no decimos que este mala, pero no lo consideramos para nada de las mejores de Madrid. En cuanto al ambiente, las mesas estan tan pegadas que escuchas las conversaciones del que tienes al lado. Incluso en algunas mesas es incomodo estar sentado porque la gente que pasa por detrás te roza. El servicio eso sí, es muy bueno. Todos los camareros están muy atentos y te sirven super rápido. Repito, esto no quiere decir que sea un mal sitio, porque solo hemos probado la tortilla, y la tortilla está buena, pero hay otros puntos que hay que mejorar.

Casa Dani es una de las principales referencias en Madrid cuando se refiere al clásico pincho de patatas, y su versión con cebollas caramelizadas siempre impresiona! En esta oportunidad también comimos las flores de alcachofa, lamentablemente no estuvieron tan ricas como en otras oportunidades, y las gambas al ajillo, muy ricas!

Fuimos al mercado y nos redirigieron hasta el restaurante. El trato muy atento y rápido. En cuanto a la comida: La tortilla merece la fama que tiene, es espectacular. Pedimos un pulpo a la gallega que estaba un poco duro y la patata cocida también. La ensalada de tomates recomendable, aunque el mejor entrante es la tortilla. Estaba deseando conocer casa Dani y dando un paseo por la Milla de oro, se me ocurrió ir a conocerla, la verdad que la tortilla estaba bastante rica, no como yo la esperaba, pero muy rica podía haber estado mejor, pero también comprendo que esa forma de hacer comidas industriales no va a ser como la de tu abuela, el resto de la comida que fueron unos callos y una alcachofa bastante rica. En definitiva volvería, pero si encuentro sitio dentro para sentarme, no pude encontrar un asiento y la verdad que comer de pie no es lo más indicado, el servicio bastante rápido y eficiente. Volveré si es para tomarme algo rápido o estar sentada.

A ver - a casa Dani, se va por la tortilla. Y en ese sentido, no falla no defrauda. La tortilla es un 9, nuy MUY rica. Su especialidad sin dudas En mi caso, pedi tambien las croquetas de jamon y no me parecieron de otro mundo. Les recontra recomiendo el lugar, descontracturado y la comida viene rapidisimo. Y no duden, pidan la tortilla directo y una cerveza fria tirada que sirven increible ademas muy buen precio

Oh, what a disappointing experience. Their “iconic” tortilla was a runny mess. We were even worried about eating it because it seemed undercooked, almost raw. Maybe in the past it really was the perfect tortilla, but now it feels like a conveyor with random quality. Honestly, just buy the one from Mercadona, it would be better. The salmorejo was good, but overall it wasn’t worth waiting half an hour in line. Casa Dani is a case of old reputation still pulling crowds, while the quality stayed in the past.
