Pleasantly surprised. Good ramen, plenty of options including vegan, nice atmosphere. Speedy service and friendly without feeling rushed. Spicy meant spicy which we love. Would go back! Recommend to make a reservation though

I loved this sushi spot in a busy area of central Madrid. Fried gyoza appetizer was a great way to start. Everything that came out was hot and fresh! Watch out for burning your tongue - ha! Fried chicken wings were also good. My tonkotsu with picante was rich, flavorful and with a good portion. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

The ramen was the best I’ve had so far I don’t like ordering on the tablet because it didn’t work at the first and took us some time, the waitresses where all in the front and we waited a long time for the check. We went to them to pay at the end.

The food was delicious! I ordered a Bao Bun and Gyozas, and my friends ordered the ramen soups. At the end we all agreed that coming to this place was a very good choice. The japanese beer was also nice, would visit again!

Every single dish we ordered was beyond amazing, very flavorful. Best ramen and sides I've ever had and I'm a frequent eater of ramen. Service was fast, friendly and the atmosphere is great! Love the interior design of the restaurant and the graphic design of the logo and menus. Planning to come back here tomorrow - that's how good it was.

Great tasting affordable ramen. Very cool ambience. We tried the Miso Pinattsu Ramen, which had a broth with peanut butter. And the Dragon Ramen. At first we preferred the peanut one, but when you thoroughly mix the spicy sauce with the whole broth, the dragon one is better in our view. We tried spicy level 1 and it was tasty. I think we could have tolerated more, but those that choose level 5 are brave people. We chose the homemade ice tea. Personally I did not like the raspberry one. It tasted like raspberry jam mixed with water. So it was very sweet and not fresh raspberry. The lemon one was not too bad, but I think l that too is made using a lemon syrup instead of lemon juice. Despite this, I will give it 5 stars because of the friendly service and amazing ramen. Great value for money.

Why you should go to Ramen Shifu: • very easy reservation • the BEST takoyaki I’ve fried to so far in Europe (you should order it) • super friendly staff! • amazing taste of ramen and broth • fair price performance ratio price: ~60€ for three persons I can definitely RECOMMEND this restaurant to get some really delicious Japanese food.

The duck ramen did not disappoint. The Bao de pato was succulent. The atmosphere was chic and prices are fair. We shared our ramen and it was more then enough. We top it off with a Mochi. We tried the cheesecake and the Oreo one. If you want to try a different style of food here in Spain then we recommend this place.

Para mi gusto todo demasiado picante, pero con muy buen sabor. Me han sorprendido mas los entrantes que los platos principales; pero repito, todo muy bueno!

El ramen estaba muy rico, sobretodo el de curry, aunque el de miso nos pareció que estaba un pelín soso. Venía mucha cantidad y los fideos tenian una textura muy buena. Y los takoyaki tampoco se quedan atrás! Eso si, los tés helados y la limonada no nos encantaron, sabían demasiado dulces y artificiales. No os olvidéis de reservar que siempre está lleno!

Llegamos sin reserva y conseguimos una mesa sin esperas a pesar de estar bastante lleno. El personal muy agradable y fueron muy rápidos. El ramen bastante sabroso pero tengo que decir que los hay mejores. Las gyozas bastante ricas para tomar mientras esperas el ramen aunque como ya he dicho, fueron muy rápidos. El ambiente es muy guay porque la decoración es bastante chula.

Estaba en Madrid por trabajo y, tras una jornada larga, decidí salir a cenar algo cerca del hotel. Consulté una aplicación para buscar un sitio con buenas reseñas y me apareció Ramen Shifu, un restaurante especializado en ramen que, además, estaba muy bien ubicado: a un paso de Gran Vía y Plaza de España. La combinación de cercanía, opiniones positivas y antojo de algo reconfortante me convenció al instante. Como no tenía demasiada hambre, opté por un Ran-Tan Ramen, acompañado de un té matcha con limón y miel. El té fue una grata sorpresa: refrescante, equilibrado y con un punto justo de acidez, ideal para limpiar el paladar entre cucharadas del caldo. El servicio fue impecable. Me atendió una chica muy amable, con un conocimiento profundo de la carta. Le hice varias preguntas sobre los distintos tipos de ramen y los niveles de picante, y respondió con precisión y una sonrisa constante. Además, la atención fue rápida, algo que siempre se agradece cuando uno cena solo y no busca largas esperas. El Tan-Tan Ramen venía con carne de cerdo triturada y un toque picante. Me trajeron la salsa aparte, detalle que permite ajustar la intensidad al gusto. En mi caso, el picante que probé era bastante suave, así que recomendaría a quienes disfruten de sabores más potentes pedir directamente un nivel 3 o 4. Y si eres amante del picante de verdad, ve sin miedo al nivel 5, que sirven en un pequeño tarrito aparte. El caldo estaba muy bueno, sabroso y bien equilibrado, con ingredientes frescos y un aroma reconfortante. Sin embargo, noté que la temperatura del plato era algo templada; me hubiera gustado que llegara un poco más caliente, como suele ser habitual en un ramen tradicional. En cuanto a la carne de cerdo triturada, aunque el sabor era correcto, la textura me resultó algo monótona: los trocitos pequeños no aportaban ese contraste que uno busca al morder una pieza de proteína más sustanciosa. Quizás fue una elección personal poco acertada —la próxima vez probaré alguna versión con pollo o con trozos más grandes de carne. En conjunto, Ramen Shifu cumple con nota: buena ubicación, atención excelente y un ambiente que transporta momentáneamente a Japón sin salir de Madrid. Aunque mi elección de plato no fue la más acertada y el ramen podría haber estado un punto más caliente, la experiencia fue positiva. Volveré, sin duda, para probar otras opciones de la carta —bastante extensa y variada— y ajustar el nivel de picante a algo más de mi gusto. Un lugar recomendable tanto para quienes ya son amantes del ramen como para los que quieren adentrarse en este universo de caldos, fideos y sabores umami.

Many things on the menu I wanted to try out and ended up ordering too much. I am very happy I was able to have the left overs as takeaway for later. I ordered karaage, takoyaki, toriman teriyaki and katsudon. I really enjoyed the food, and only comment was that the rice used was long grain rice instead of shortgrain sticky rice in the katsudon and it was a bit too "saucy" to use the chopsticks to get the rice. The atmosphere was great and the people working there was very nice. It did not feel strange to go and eat there alone. Would visit again 👍

Tonkatsu Ramen is good, except the broth is not hot enough, i like the noodles and broth is not salty, flavor is perfect for my taste. Service was good. The ambience is nice. I still recommend this place.

No probé el ramen solo hablo del tonkatsu y el arroz con pato, todo está bueno, es indudable, pero realmente esperaba del curry más sabor, no está muy conseguido, pq hacer arroz y pollo frito no es un misterio, entonces donde está la verdadera cocina es guisar el curry y me falló. La mayoría pedían ramen y se veían con buena pinta, habrá que probarlo en otra ocasión. Buen precio, buen servicio.

Fuimos a comer 2 personas un viernes a mediodía con reserva de The Fork. Pedimos cada uno un plato principal y bebida y compartimos entrante y postre. Como bueno: - Comida rica, muy sabrosa y bien de cantidad. - Servicio atento y agradable por parte de las camareras. - El baño es bastante amplio y limpio. Como malo: - Pedimos un plato que no tenían pero no nos lo dijeron hasta un rato después. - El ramen estaba tirando a salado y con los fideos un poco pasados. - Pedimos un entrante vegano y lo pusieron con carne… - El señor que hay algo mayor que el resto de sus compis no es especialmente agradable. Fue mi primera vez después de oír maravillas del sitio, pero me pareció normalito. Le daré otra oportunidad a la cadena en otro local, pero este no me encantó :)

One particular person made this experience better but the rest is not OK. My friend asked for a recommendation on the menu from 2 choices and the waiter recommended another dish - vegan spicy dragon. We ordered that one but it wasn’t spicy. I ordered spicy beef ramen. It was OK but with a lot of meat fat. Some people may like it. We finished our meal and we try to digest with sparkling water. Waiters asked us if we want any dessert or anything else. We said not for now. Right after that they brought us the bill. They just put it on the table even we didn’t ask for it. We were about to order some drinks and the bill was on the table disrespectfully. Anyways when we were leaving the restaurant, we gave our feedback to the waiter who welcomed us to the place. He apologized kindly, however the experience was ruined just because of that unthoughtful behavior.

We had the takoyaki, gyozas, curry ramen and tonkotsu ramen. The takoyaki and gyozas were delicious. The ramen broths however were really watered down and you could barely taste the flavors. And I have had curry and tonkotsu many times in Japan. It's a shame. I would say the ramen because of this was below average.

We went to this restaurant with our friends who had never had ramen before, we get there, get seated and they bring us the menus right away. When looking at the menus we considere the option of making a preselected menu already confectioned by them, here I kindly ask the waiter if it would be possible to change one of the ramen options as none called my attention by one of the spicy ramen, as we expected he said no, okey no problem, I ask if even paying the price difference if it would be posible, again he says no, okay no problem I understand it was a long shot. But here the waiter mock us with a condescending tone by saying that we could swap ingredients but the ramen could no be swapped, again we understood the first time. Then I proceeded to order a spicy ramen and ask the waiter their level of spiciness so that I can adjust accordingly. I ask if level 4 is spicy to them. The waiter with a smirk and a patronizing tone says that level 2 is already super spicy an non bearing. Alright, since I eat spicy food on a daily and often I called his bluf and order level 3 because often they tend to exaggerate. The waiter then proceeds to say no and that it will be too spicy, that I better order a level 2 and then bring spicy oil on the side in case I want more. I say okay, no problem. The ramen comes, I taste it, and it was not spicy at all, our friends who don’t tolerate spicy food tried it and even agreed that it was not spicy. I ask for the chilly oil twice because the waiter “forgot” to bring it as it was some sort of attempt to prove his point. Anyways, I add the full container of chilly oil onto my ramen and still wasn’t half of what the waiter portrayed it to be. The problem was 100% the waiters attitude which we all peeped. As per the rest, the ramen wasn’t all that, average, it lacked taste and punch. For desert we had mochi, I have eaten different types of mochi and in various different places, the mochi here had an outside consistency of rubber and was hard to eat it, the inside was ice cream.

The positives were the Gyoza were nice with a delicate texture and flavour and the chicken Karage was cooked just right with a tasty sweet chilli dipping sauce. The waiter was perfectly attentive. Its a shame about the tonkatsu ramen it tasted nothing like any tonkatsu ramen iv ever tried (and that's a lot!) It was not a pork broth at all, it tasted like a chicken/salty style broth, much like a chinese style soup, It was a shame about this, the egg and chashu were ok, nothing special though.

Mi novia y yo hemos comido varias veces en el establecimiento, siempre hemos quedado satisfechos pero la situación de hoy ha sido inaudita. Uno de los camareros, de pelo canoso, nos ha intentado cerrar la puerta en la cara, por si fuera poco también ha invadido nuestro espacio personal y nos ha despachado de mala manera. Es cierto que no teníamos reserva pero basta con indicar que no hay sitios libres para eso turno, no hace falta actuar de ese modo. No hemos acudido a ninguna hora cercana a cierre ni nos hemos comportado de mala manera. Obviamente no volveremos nunca.

Experiencia algo nefastas, nada más entrar, el jefe, o el que parecía el jefe ha sido bastante borde. Les he pedido que a mí plato le quitarán la proteína que era cárnica, porque soy vegetariano, y me pedían un suplemento adicional de 3 euros para el plato. Vamos nada recomendable y no creo que vuelva. Lo único bueno es que el camarero que nos ha atendido era muy simpático y atento.

Experiencia muy mala por parte del personal y ramen bastante insípido. Repetí mi experiencia dándole otra oportunidad a la cadena de ramen Shifu y me ha vuelto a decepcionar. Ramen muy sencillo y con poco sabor para el precio que tiene. Lo mejor de la cena fue su karaage. En cuanto al personal, el trato fue malísimo. Llegamos a la hora 3 de las 4 personas de la reserva y nos recibieron con una actitud dictatorial de que teníamos concretada la reserva a una hora y que teníamos que pedir cuanto antes (tenían el local con muchas mesas libres que no se llenaron a lo largo de la noche). Cuando 2 personas de la mesa habían terminado su ramen vinieron inmediatamente a recoger los platos mientras los otros dos todavía comíamos, como si nos estuviesen echando. Experiencia muy muy mala. Espero que haya sido un día malo por parte del personal y no sea siempre así con sus clientes. No volveré.
