The dining experience at Applebee's was pretty good. I had the Classic Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Pasta and it was really good. The location was nice as it is near the bay and has a nice view looking put. The service was good, and my only gripe was that the food was a bit expensive (the pasta was about $20), but that is to be expected. I would recommend visiting this place.

Food was delicious like all AppleBee’s Grill and Bar. I had the grilled salmon with broccoli, and mash. It was on point and would get it again. Because it was right on Pier 39, it was slightly higher priced than other restaurants in other states. It is located on the second floor, take the stairs or elevator. You can enjoy the view of the pier, the Alcatraz, the people. Just beautiful. It is open very late and a great option when you arrive late to the hotel. It’s safe. To recommend

Very nice employees ..Our server was nice for letting us slide on the electronic game the have for our kids because she new they where bored and didn't charge us for it all..The food was not so good like my 12ounce steak dinner was not the way I asked for it to be cooked. It was steak but what kind is what bothered me. My Mac and cheese had no taste to it all..Other then that the staff experience was acceptable . I wouldn't recommend ot late on night on a Saturday .

Frist , the food was fantastic and freshly made. I always enjoyed my visits to Applebee's. Secondly, the service is always just the bare minimum. I only saw my server when the order was taken and the food was delivered. Finally, the restrooms need a commercial cleaning. It looks like they only sweep and lightly wipe ever now and then.

We ordered Blackened Chicken and Shrimp dish that was prepared well but butter content was more than required so actual taste of chicken and shrimp could not be felt. But yes the potatoes tasted good Service was slow. The servers were little lost in their own worlds. After a tiring day at the pier /San Francisco, we thought of catching dinner First thing apart from impossible burger (which rarely vegetarians like) the menu has no veg options. Our tired legs than pushed the veggies to opt for a doughy pizza from kids menu and rest all could enjoy the chicken But then came both the service time (longer) and the quantity (less quantity that the plate they give looks empty/missing things - grilled chicken with mash and broccoli) The server was good to keep us informed but definitely room for improvement needed. The food was overdone, we sat for 20 minutes before anybody came over to take our drinks. We ordered our salads and our drinks at the same time and then said that when you come back, we’ll order our food and she never came back. It took two hours for us to get our food and our drinks altogether. The servers looked like they didn’t enjoy being there and didn’t like their job the assistant manager, Edward was pretty passive and less than helpful and didn’t come back to check to see how our food was. I will not go back after spending almost $115

Our server took our order then we waited around 40 minutes and we asked another waitress for a follow up then that’s the time where our server came to us and explained she threw away our order and asked to retake. All we get from her is a sorry like that can replace our time of waiting for our NON EXISTENT FOOD. Why wait that long? Why keep us waiting THAT LONG for our food that you didn’t even put in? Unacceptable behavior. We were looking for the manager and they didn’t even bother to come out to talk to us. The manager was called twice and still didn’t come out. Absolutely no compensation for us. I’m praying for the other people who get them as a server. ✌️

horrible experience music was extremely loud since i walked inside. the service is good but the atmosphere is overstimulating i had to yell to order and it wasnt a good time. i always come to this location and its a calm nice area for dinner. pasta was also kinda nasty

Ordered nachos and extra beens for a charge and literally got half sauce cup for that. Ordered mushroom burger with impossible patty got charged extra for that too and didn’t fine a single mushroom in any burger. You will get better food at driver through MC Donald’s than at this Applebees.
