It's surprisingly good for a sandwich and a cup of soup. A cross between a sandwich shop and a diner, maybe? Great BLT and broccoli cheese soup. My husband enjoyed the muffaletta.
Free water if you wear a cat shirt
I had to find a relatively sticky booth for my family, but our food came down relatively quickly, and my parents got the salad bar. I think the only thing that could realistically be improved is their atmosphere.
Tristen was extremely friendly and helpful. Tristen also took time to make us feel like family. Titus tried to help me but was unable to navigate to website. So he made sure that I got the assistance that I needed. Ya'll have some great treasures in your establishment. Much thanks from Dessie and Weston C;
Samantha! Thank you. You literally amazed me with your service this evening. I decided at the last minute not to cook dinner and wanted Jason’s Deli [15 minutes til closing] and your service made me feel as if it was the middle of the day. Thank you for being essential and kind during a time such as this. You’re appreciated.
The food was fresh and it was a great place to go. I had the tomato basil soup and it was not all that great. Whereas in the past it was very good. I'm definitely going back.
Excellent service from an attentive and friendly staff and management. This restaurant should be a model for others on how to add in the little things that make the experience feel worth it. Every time I’ve come here a manager is out at the register or behind the line working to provide this experience.
Jason's deli is very very. Clean , the most sweet nice , great awesome service, I really love , Jason delis food very fresh, very time I go in there, and eat, I love it I rate yall a 100 for being very clean and the bath rooms, are very clean . Great outstanding job keep up the great work and very nice and sweet people. They greet you and say welcome to Jason deli ,
I made a take out order, had the Reuben sandwich, chips and fruit with dip. They were very prompt, very nice, wore a mask! Everything was perfect, when I got home I noticed they had forgotten the dip for the fruit, I called wow I'm guessing the manager answered the phone quickly. I told him about the dip, he was very apologetic, had his driver bring me the dip, plus another cup of fruit with dip and a cookie. The sandwich was very good... made with perfection, the fruit was also very fresh.... this is the first time I have been there for it just didn't sound appealing. I'm glad I reached out to try them . 10 stars for them! Great food great service. Thanks.... oh this is the one one 2978 in Magnolia TX.
This is a great place for either a sit down meal (my family and I have made this location a regular spot for sunday-after-church lunch) or a quick to-go meal. The staff is always friendly, the tables are always quickly cleaned up, and the salad bar is always fresh. Countless times have I ordered a salad bar to-go as I'm out an about, makes for a quick but delicious meal!
Love the food from this place. The restaurant has good service and great food options. The price is a bit on the higher side. But the food is really good so I can justify eating here every now and then. Give it a try you will like it.
The staff was all very nice & the broccoli cheese coup was delicious! The restaurant was very clean.
Great place to go for good food at great prices. We've been several times and never disappointed. Love their Broccoli & Cheese soup....really good. Healthy portions and always fresh. Service is excellent too.
I had their new southwestern bowl and it was very good. Could mixture of cheese chicken guacamole lettuce And rice
Great lunch spot. Really fresh food.
Everything was nice but I wasn't a fan of the sandwich I got. But overall it was a good experience!!
This was, I believe, my third or fourth trip to this particular Jason's -- but I have eaten at other locations many times. This trip did not disappoint. The salad bar and my Club Royale sandwich were delicious. On the salad bar, there are these mini cupcakes. I am no cook, but I believe they are ginger syrup cakes. Don't forget to try them with a little ice cream for dessert. They are really good.
Food was delicious! Salad bar was clean and neat, same as the entire restaurant. Staff were nice and helpful.
Update: got the grilled cheese on whole wheat with the chunky delicious tomato basil soup. Absolutely delicious and nostalgic meal, very filling. I also got one of my fave sides to enjoy for lunch on the following day; the grilled corn and black beans. It has just the right amount of heat and can be enjoyed by itself or with chips, but I prefer it in a salad or roll-up. Just one of the many delicious menu offerings. Hardy soups, salads, and sandwiches piled high with super generous portions of deli meats with the roast beef and the corned beef being my top two faves. Gluten sensitive and vegetarian options. Nice kids menu. Something for everyone!
Jason's Deli is a great post church meet up spot. And is our friends' go to for lunch afterwards. The service is always fast and prompt, and the facility is clean. While I wish there was a burger and fries on the menu, the rest of the food is filling and great value.
Food is always great and I like that if you're on the fence about a sandwich or a salad or soup you can always do a manager's special and get half a sandwich and half a soup or salad. Staff is always helpful and friendly but I will say the place seems a bit gloomy at times, it could use some better lighting or maybe a pop of color somewhere but it's definitely not enough to deterr me from their great sandwiches and soups
I don't see why they don't improve the atmosphere and maybe the service a little because their food is top notch! I have eaten there 2 days in a row! They have what I want and need (salad bar, lol)! Fresh and delicious. I guess they want to keep prices down, I appreciate that.
This Jason’s Deli was clean and well-attended. The food we ordered was good and it definitely filled us up. The salad bar was a bit smaller than I’ve seen at other Jason’s Delis, but this location has the huge benefit of having a drive-thru. I have never seen a Jason’s Deli with a drive thru before this one, and I think it’s awesome. And, they actually move the cars through the line pretty quickly, which is surprising for all the different menu options they are offering.
It was my first time at Jason's Deli. I had a turkey sandwich with fruit. I noticed a bowl, which I thought was ranch dressing, and I stuck my sandwich inside it and took a big bite of a delicious sugary turkey sandwich. It was a sugary dip for my fruit, not salad dreasing as i thought. It tasted better on the fruit than the sandwich. My husband had the BBQ Potatoe, I didn't like it, but he did. It was a massive potatoe. The food and service were excellent. I will go back.
We had two sandwiches and a bowl of tortilla soup. Soup was excellent! Sandwiches were good. Plus 2 teas. Bill was $38 plus tip...The economy is so bad. Don't forget the free ice cream.
I come here every Tuesday for lunch and am never disappointed. The staff is beyond friendly and attentive. Great customer service. Great atmosphere. Great food. I get something different every time and am always pleased. Clean facilities. Thanks Jason's Deli!
Delicious and healthy vegetarian options (salad bar is the best around) with friendly and fast service. To go pickup process is simple and seamless, Savannah and the manager, Eric, are always on top of their game with service and answering any questions I’ve ever had about food content, etc. Great atmosphere as well.
If you want to be greeted with a smile and enjoy a delicious sandwich then you have found the right place! Their customer service is fantastic and make sure you grab a complimentary ice cream cone on your way out!
My first time being here, I enjoyed the food, the service is good, and the atmosphere is good, it just needs a little more light, my grandfather didn't like it being dimed. But everything was great. Thank you.
This was our first time visiting Jason's deli and it was very yummy. The soup and salad combo was great. Everything we ate was very fresh and good.
I love this location! The food is always fresh and everything is very clean. But the best part is a young lady they have working here named Savanna. She is so kind, does a good job, and remembers us when we come in. It is so rare to receive warm customer service these days, but that is exactly what the staff brings here.
We love ordering Jason’s Deli for our staff!
Always fast, quality service and a quiet dining room. Portions are generous too. Often has kids eat free or at a large discount if you join thru the app
Had a great lunch!! Salad bar had a great selection and everything was fresh. Free ice cream station was a great ending to our meal
Hubby had the half oder sandwich Bologna and Ham with potato chips and a side of macaroni cheese served with Rootbeer. While I had the Chipotle Chicken sandwich served sliced avocados, blue tortilla chips, and salsa with a glass of water. We each got a 1/4 cup soft serve ice cream for our desert.
Love the Ruben and salad. Very friendly service.
I always get the salad bar and it is always fully stocked!
There is a young woman named Lilly who always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and make sure we have everything we need. That kind of service is rare in this world an keeps coming back. Thanks Lily
Excellent location staff and food - I usually get a sandwich and soup
Always a pleasant experience at this location. I’ve been eating at Jason’s Deli my whole life and this team never lets me down! The long-term staff remembers me each time I visit and they ensure my visit is fab. Not to mention the strawberry shortcake is ALWAYS deli-icious! Clean and quiet atmosphere. Highly recommend.
The food is always fresh and the soup and vegetables hot. Good service when ordering.
I eat healthy and they have healthy choices 😋 turkey wrap, or southwest bowl are a great option
The staff is always so friendly. The manager greets us every visit. Very family friendly. Has soft serve ice cream.
1st time eating at this location. Everything was fantastic. Super friendly staff, lightning fast prep, and delicious food.
Absolutely love the hospitality here, finished eating some leftovers and it has me thinking I’ve went there once for the first time and I loved it. Wonderful service from the workers. The order taker was very sweet, me and my husband went in for the first time and I’m greeted me all the way from the register with a smile and hello welcome in. May I say, the Ruben absolutely delicious! The server as well very sweet and quick with serving. Would definitely go back, the young order taker even made my husband laugh! Not many people get us old people, I’m 67 and I loved it here. Nice workers, great food, great service.
Always consistent friendly service and great quality food from this location. Praise to the management team for training the folks the way they need to be trained to run a very well ran eatery. The Reuben sandwiches is good as it gets highly recommended
I came in with a negative outlook because I remembered the unlimited salad bar from my childhood and felt disappointed it was no longer offered. But I understand it's an economical decision and not personal. Despite my attitude, the managers were incredibly kind, welcoming, and kept a smile the entire time. Their warmth changed my whole experience. I even went back to order a root beer float just to apologize and let them know how much I appreciated them. Everything in the building was super clean, all the tables were wiped down, the windows were crystal clear, and even the bathrooms were spotless. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, everything was well taken care of. These managers are doing something right. I love Jason's Deli and I’ll definitely be coming back. Five stars, must visit.
Jason's Deli never disappoints. Had the Wild Salmon burger and enjoyed every bite! They had a longline becos if a school soccer team lunch and they had the presence of mind to open up another cashier for other customers. So a very pleasant experience over all.
Ordered the Manager's Special with the New Yorker, a custom side salad and a cup of fruit! The sandwich probably weighed a pound and i only ordered half of a sandwich!! Absolutely loaded with meat!!!! The side salad was stuffed to the rim with everything I asked for in perfect proportion! Honestly, the salad alone will probably last me 3 meals! I didn't receive the dip that was ordered with the fruit but the strawberries and pineapple were so fresh it didn't need it!!! To top it all off, everything tasted SO AMAZINGLY GOOD!!!!! I could eat here every week!
Updated Review, June 12, 2022 Last review was when their dining room just opened because of relaxing office COVID-19 dining rules. They have a great Salad Bar. For under $10 with an ice water, you can't beat If you don't get full it's your own fault. The Salad Bar has the OPTIONS!!! Good salad bar. Go before lunch rush
I ordered the zucchini garden pasta with no cheese and one of the cooks came over to my table and asked if I couldn't have cheese at all because it doesn't just have cheese on top but asiago mixed in too. After finding out I'm vegan, he said he can whip something up for me with no dairy at all. So sweet of him to take the time to do that. It was bomb btw 👌🏼😋
I love the salad bar and my son said the pumpkin coffee cake was the best he's ever had. We had a large group dining here and they took care of us quickly.
We decided to go here for lunch over the weekend and this was the first time we have went inside as we normally go through the drive thru. Food here is always good and they do have a variety of sandwich options that are customizable. I do think this is the best sandwich place in the direct area without having to drive 10 miles. If your looking for a good sandwich or soup check them out.
We got to go, this was our first time. service was efficient and the sandwiches were good. Prices were reasonable. Will return soon..
Great food as always, however I did witness the woman maintaining the salad bar pick something off the floor, throw it away and go back to arranging the salad bar. She had no gloves on and did not wash. It the best sanitary condition
Ordered online. Line took a while, but once I got there they had my order ready. I prepaid when I ordered, so they handed me my food and off I went. My order was Coronado the food was good.
Great service and good food! This Jason's Deli location had quicker service than any other location I've been too. The salad and drink bars were immaculate and well stocked. The staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful with suggestions when my daughter couldn't make up her mind 😁
Not too shabby. The counter staff had the customer service skills of cardboard, but other than that, things were good. We were there for a semi-busimess dinner. We ordered our food and sat down. There was enough of a delay in getting our food that we could start chatting and set the mood. The cleaning service guy was great. He had a positive attitude and was friendly. The location looked to be clean. The table was not sticky. It was a good visit.
Prices are a bit much for what you get and my sandwich was dry, but root beer float! That's the most exciting part.
The inconsistent of the amount of meat on the Muffaletta sandwich is awful. The last two sandwiches I’ve gotten maybe has about 1.5 oz of turkey…. The sandwich is good but that ridiculous. They say the measure- doubtful that’s happening.
Wry disappointed! $10 for the salad bar and the items were not fresh or mostly gone! The ginger muffins were not fresh at all! Ice cream was runny and area not clean. Ranch dressing was empty. The broccoli salad looks like it was sitting in the fridge for a week! Y’all got to do better for people paying to dine here! I go to Jason’s deli All the time but will not be coming back to this location!
Not bad, but definitely not as good as the location in Conroe. The fountain drink dispenser was just spitting Coke Zero, which I'm fairly sure was just regular Coke. There were no napkins other than what we were brought. Those are really the only complaints.
Fast and friendly service. Was not asked if this was a to-go order (big miss). Check-out aand pick-up signage is missing leading to some confusion. Corned beef/pastrami sandwich was good, but not exceptional. Meat was a bit on the dry side. Rye bread and provided deli mustard (on the side) was very tasty.
I normally really like this place. However, when I went with my parents, we had an issue. There were dead roaches in the salad bar. My mom went to complain to the manager and he said “that’s impossible because the salad is from a bag.” So there goes your “fresh salad” I guess. We got our money back but I won’t be returning.
I really like this chain, but for some reason this location forgets something every time we go. I got an avocado sandwich and they left off the avocado!🤦🏼♀️
I've been going to this Jason's since it opened. I went thru the drive thru today and ordered a Bigger, Better, BLT and a small chicken ceaser salad. NO lettuce or tomato and barely could find any mayo on the sandwich. And I had to hunt for the chicken on the salad. Certainly not worth my $20!! Very disappointing...
Rule of thumb: If you would not eat it, do not sell/guve it to the customer. Baked potato was stale and dry. This is horrible. Maybe because it was near closing time. It will be a while before I try this again.
It was great when this location first opened up. Food was great and even delivery was good. But lately the food quality has become worse. Delivery of food sometimes extremely late, cold food , watered down soup that used to be delicious, mostly water instead of the thick good soup they used to serve. It's a shame cause I used to love this place. Now I eat here once in a blue moon.
You will see my original review from 3 years ago below. Now post COVID they have removed the all you can eat salad bar so for the same price just get a single pass. Even remember ads that “our all you can eat salad bar is back”. Disappointed. This will reduce our frequency of visiting. Consistent experience each and every time. Just a high quality and better nutritional value fast food restaurant
I got a salad and the lettuce was bad red and brown. I didn't touch it. Just threw it away. The only reason there's 2 starts instead of one is because the soups and dessert were fine.
No seating available so we had to stand there with our trays waiting for tables to open up. Floors under tables had food all all over. I feel it was because people were snapping up tables as fast as they would come available and the poor cleaning crew couldn't clean up the food dropped by kids. The overall layout lends a poor flow for guests to get drinks, salads and then back for ice cream. ( Very crowded space) Over all, a manic eating experience. Nothing enjoyable about it. 😟
Food has gone down hill in the past 2-3 years. It used to taste fresh and clean. Now it just feels like another fast food restaurant. Everything tastes pre-made and stale/old
The new website and account login to order online is terrible. I refuse to spend 5 minutes with capta trying to get into my account. Prices are much higher and I bet that even though they claim to have healthier food all the salad dressing and mayo are made with soybean and canola oils which are very bad for you but are cheap to use. I will remove Jason's from the list of places I eat at and continue to cook at home, less expensive and much better for you. If they remove all seed oils from their foods I might consider them again but that seems to be unlikely.
Late order but it was gross. They don’t care, they just want to go home. Ordered a salad. Grilled cheese and soup. Grilled cheese went to the dog. Cheese not even melted. Nothing was good! This used to be my favorite go to but not doing it again! Last two times it was horrible!
I have eaten here several times and it was great. I thought I would try something new and I had a grilled sandwich and a small broccoli soup. On June 2nd shortly after eating I became really tired and within an hour I think I was full on food Poisoning. All nite Friday, then Saturday and most of Sunday was not fun. Called the store and manager said she was contacting corp, they take this serious. Well here it is the 8th so guess it wasn't bad enough for them to respond. Thanks anyway. I won't stop there for a while at least.
Very disappointed. I don't know if it was the day of the week or shift change but our order was not a pleasure. I got a BLT on wheat. It was pretty good but no mayo It was toasted but cold. My daughter got a tuna on sourdough The bread was so hard she couldn't bite into it, the tuna was tasteless, very little mayo and she got ruffles broken chips in a sandwich bag and the pickles was taken out of a jar and put in a sandwich bag. No way to know if the pickles was handled with or without gloves.. We probably won't be back.
My family is a big fan of Jason's deli and eat at other locations regularly. Our experience at this time was much less than normal. They forgot to deliver one of our broccoli cheese soups and both were not served with the plate under the soup and they did not serve with crackers. I got blue chips and salsa and all the chips were smashed in small pieces so couldn't dip them in the salsa at all. Lastly we ended up trashing some of our food and leaving after a cocroach began crawling across our table. This was reported to the employee serving and he apologized.
They went up on the price for the salad bar, and it's one trip. Salad mixed with chocolate pudding mixed with potatoe salad. NASTY. They are STill BLAMING COVID. I think that ship has sailed. At least give more plates so you don't have to mix food together that was not made to mix. Ranch muffins are not good!
What a rip off!!! My friend was in front of me ordering. She ordered the full size Smokey jack turkey pani sandwich. Her cost for the whole sandwich was $11.19. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich of the exact same menu item and my cost for 1/2 of same sandwich was $10.19. What a rip off!!!!!!! This is ridiculous that Jason’s Deli would charge ONLY exactly one dollar less for a half of a sandwich vs a whole. I truly do not understand this logic!!!!! Makes me to never go back again.
The what I thought was a manager turned out to be the owner.. what a knob! He treated us very rudely and had no hospitality.. ordered $30 with of lunch for 2 of us and he was rude when I thought something came on the sandwich that didn’t… then I took a small plate and and went to the salad bar to get more dressing for the salad and sandwich.. he jumped on my because we had not ordered a salad bar… really? WOW! Saw him bark at his employees several times while eating… this tool has no business owning anything…. I’ll make sure I follow up with Jason’s Deli and let them know his name on the door should be changed to Scrooge!!!!
Use to come all the time. First time back since the pandemic. Very disappointed. $14.95 for a small plain Jane baked potato & a small tea. Pretty sure she over charged me, but can’t see what she charged me since I was given no receipt. To add to it, no longer making the muffins and crackers available to all. Have to get a salad bar to get those. That would’ve been a $30.00 meal! It’s convenient because it’s right across the street, but better options are out there. Bummer.
It’s my first time going to Jason’s deli in a few years. The tables were disgusting. All the tables in there were messy. The only table we got to sit at was one in the center of the room. The food was okay. Not the best. Not like 2018 Jason’s deli. A lot has changed. And they don’t give free muffins anymore. It’s now 1.39$ for 4. Which isn’t bad. But I’d rather get them for free. If you dine here, make sure to have them get your order right too.
it may seem okay from the outside but this location is a breeding ground corruption and abuse. their employees DO NOT get breaks (even when they ask), managers are completely inconsistent and hypocritical. they do not recognize honest work and only care about what is convenient for them. they promise raises and don't deliver, not to mention, if you saw what goes on in the kitchen- you would never want to eat again! HUGE fly problem and a ridiculous amount of cross contamination. Food sits out uncovered for hours. No wonder this place has so many food poisoning complaints- it is a cesspool. This place needs to be under investigation by OSHA and the public health department! Both of which I will be calling nonstop until this place is shut down. The managers take advantage of young kids who are doing their best, it is immoral and wrong. Jason's Deli in Magnolia is Hell on earth and their company should be ASHAMED.
Ordered delivery and food never arrived. They use DoorDash and the driver kept the food.
Terrible experience, I am a Hispanic customer and at the end of my lunch I went to have an ice cream, but on the way out one of the managers snatched the ice cream I had taken from me, claiming that I had not consumed any despite having a bag with my leftovers in my hand. , I do not recommend it if you are not a racial clientele accepted by the manager
Came here to eat dinner and the cashier that took our order was very rude. When we asked a question about the menu, and what they served, we were treated like inferiors and that our question was so trivial that it wasn’t worth attending to. In all my times dealing with food service, I have never been made to feel so worthless. Definitely would not recommend coming here.
For one it’s always disgusting here. And the manager is awful He was so rude. Asked if I wanted my pasta sauce warmed up and made it big deal that I needed a little extra sauce. This manager has been very rude on numerous occasions but this time he rolled his eyes and acted very immature. This is unacceptable for a manager. Jason’s deli should not want someone like that representing their franchise. The young lady that took our order was very kind and did a good job. I will not ever come back to this location!!!
We had an unpleasant experience with the cashier at this restaurant which I can assume was the manager. From the moment we walked in, he gave us a strange look. When I asked a question about the menu, his response was rude and condescending, leaving me feeling embarrassed. The interaction was uncomfortable and even felt like a microaggression. We were even unable to fully enjoy our meal. While the rest of the staff was amazing and very helpful, I wouldn’t return because of this one employee.
I just left from this Jason deli and it make no sense that these children y’all have working in the drive threw have no manners I ordered a soup I asked if it came with bread the person says no but you can buy some okay great after a lot of silence I asked for I guess a baguette because it does not state on the menu what the bread options are he rudely responded you can have some French bread okay great , I get to the widow I barley get looked at they take my money hand my me my food in the middle of saying thank you have a great day he just closes the drive threw window and walked away mind you it’s 5 on a Sunday there is no one inside or in the drive threw I will not be purchasing from here it’s just sad
Ordered 1/4 Muffalata at 7.02 and this joke showed up from Westwood Jason’sDeli. I called and they can’t help you. Well my company orders 4-5 K of food from Jason’s. Never again
I was in line an couldn’t read the menu on the TV from far away in line. Before there use to be menus in line for you to view but those are no longer there. Waiting in line wasn’t bad, just about 10 minutes. But I’m those 10 minutes I could have been looking through the menu at my leasuire. I don’t like to be rushed or feel like I am being rushed when looking at a menu. The TV is still so hard to read even when you are next in line to order. They do have menus for your own viewing pleasure but they are located at the cashier. I picked up a menu to view and felt super rushed, looking at the menu having no idea what I want, with a line of people waiting behind me breathing down my neck during lunch hour. This is not a friendly place if you need time to look over the menu. You are forced to wait until you are at the cashier to start figuring out what you want to eat. I have social anxiety so when I have a cashier looking at me also waiting for my response; that can feel a bit awkward. There needs to be menus available in line to take this pressure off. The manager in grey brown shirt was super rude to me when I moved some menus to the waiting line. He came and grazed up against me, pushing me out of the way to snatch up the menus and move them back to the cashier. I mean how rude? This was a man and made me feel so uncomfortable. I hated this dinning experience.
don’t come in 40 minutes before they close or else matthew will stare at you like you’re insane! and make your food to go! god forbid i wanted to sit inside and eat, i was literally the only person there (in store and drive thru) but i guess hours of operation mean nothing anymore, am i in the wrong for going. into a restaurant and ordering at 9:20PM when they close at 10PM?
My son and his wife were very sick, their new baby was in the hospital. I live outside the area but have trusted Jason’s Deli. So when they were discharged I wanted to send them food. I called on a Friday and the lady was great, I ordered 65.00 worth of food. On Saturday I called and ordered 70.00 worth of food to get them through the weekend, since they were still sick and caring for a new baby. I spoke with Matthew, he was rude and very short with me. He said he uses Door Dash on the weekends. After I placed my order he said how much tip do I want to leave, hmmm, he said if I don’t tip then the food will sit here. I said is the service based on my tip, well the weekends we don’t have drivers. He got very short with me. Wow two days of over 130.00 in orders and a very rude person, named Matthew. Seriously I paid a 10.00 delivery fee but in order to get my food fresh and delivered I MUST tip before services are even given. I think this needs to be addressed or maybe you should have another system in place.
We have visited this Jason's Deli for years, it is the closest location from my home, food is fresh, all has been good except the last two times. They have been so rude, unprofessional, and unkind. We have been regulars for over 5 years. But it is shocking to see and experience mistreatment. It is noticeable staff has changed. From their treatment to new staff in general. Today, without any previous approach we were told "well we are going to close in about 4 minutes and so you will need to leave... like now". I'm a Senior and don't appreciate been spoken to in a belittling tone. We understand there are policies in place and don't want to be inconsiderate to the staff. Many times we are enjoying our food or in family conversations that we are not paying attention to the time. In the years we've been regulars we have only been notified that the salad bar will be closing and the ice cream machine would be getting shut off when there has been an older Caucasian manager working. He has been kind enough to tell us if we needed anything else to feel free to grab it at that time. But if he is not there nothing is said and they simply put everything up without warning. It's very inconsistent. When we got there today and paid at 8:27 pm. The restaurant looked like a storm had passed by and many tables were dirty. However, as we were there tables got cleaned. Staff is usually very friendly and have never communicated any discontent or warnings before these last two visits. Which is why we have not appreciated basically getting kicked out in an unprofessional manner. The visit before we were unaware of how past after close it was (26 minutes after). And we agree that it was our fault that we were not on top of the time. However, we were only approached 15 minutes after close "stating in 10min we have to take up the plates" and then were kicked out. But the way we were spoken to was traumatizing and unjustified. We are regulars and have gone to this location because of the kind staff, it's closest to home and the ice cream machine is better than other locations. However it's hard to think about returning after the way we've been made to feel and been treated. If there was something going on with management or a change in policy, we would have preferred to have been approached in a timely, professional, and kind manner.
Extremely disappointing. I've been ordering the Beefeater sandwich for 15 years, so I know what it is supposed to look and taste like. Purposely went out of our way today to get one from this Jason's Deli location, and it was awful - super stale bread wrapping meat and cheese that had obviously been toasted WELL BEFORE I ordered. We ordered kettle chips for both sandwiches, which are standard, but were given Lay's. No mints were in the bag per usual. Complete waste of $20. Will not go here again.
