This cafe is lovely. We sat outside. It wasn't cold or too windy. It was busy, Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The was delicious. The service was nice, nothing to complain about. Would love to come back again. The meat on the nachos was very good. My burger was perfect.
A total catch! I'd only previously experienced Malibu Farm Lido, thanks to my current OC residence, and I was immediately hooked by its fresh flavors, quality ingredients, and effortlessly chic vibe. So my expectations were already high going in. That said, Malibu Farm Pier--the original restaurant actually located on the Malibu Pier--somehow manages to be even more delightful, which feels almost impossible until you experience it. Park either along the street (free), or in the nearby lot (pay via app) across from the restaurant--but be forewarned that parking costs double on weekends. From the moment you arrive, the ocean views, salty breeze, and relaxed-yet-elevated atmosphere set the tone. The magnificent manager Oscar frequently peruses the premises, warmly welcoming guests while ensuring that everything runs swimmingly. Somehow, he makes everyone feel at home--even within a vacation setting. Phenomenal food forces me to return. I haven't even tried the vegan coconut curry here, which is my go-to order at their OC Lido location. Lately, I've been obsessed with the vegan tofu scramble. Bloody Marys at both spots are equally heated and heavenly. This is the kind of foodie fantasy where the setting enhances the flavors, the flavors match the view, and everything comes together in a way that feels both special and effortless. Truly a shore-thing if you're looking for pier-side perfection.
I went here for breakfast and then again in the evening to get some icecream. As this place is right on pier one can enjoy the food while enjoying sea and sun ☀️. Food was great. I could request some customisation with the food which was great.
Came to the Malibu Farm Cafe for quick bite to eat and a coffee while driving through Malibu. There is lots of parking next to the pier and this place has a great view of Malibu beach and the sunset. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere here is great. Very relaxed and very nice.
The experience was as close to perfect as one can get. We arrived around 11:00am and sat outdoors on the covered patio right near where they make coffee. The view was priceless, the hospitality was excellent making us feel right at home and never felt rushed. The tables are spaced out with plenty of room to have a quiet conversation with your party. The food was excellent and loved the presentation of the Kale Caesar Salad with Salmon. Portions were generous . Ingredients were incredibly fresh and you could feel the pride that everyone we interacted with had in their work and being a part of Malibu Farm. While prices were on the high side the views and hospitality surely make the experience a value. Can’t wait to go back and try more menu items as there is so much to choose from.
"How can I even put this into words? This place is so charming that my usual vocabulary doesn't do it justice. Not only was the scenery breathtaking, but the food was prepared with such care and tasted absolutely exquisite. I’ve passed by this spot countless times, but finally stopped by after my daughters suggested we give it a try. Even though the weather was a bit overcast, it actually made for the perfect lighting for photos! At first glance, the portions looked like they might not be enough, but by the time we cleared our plates, we were so full we couldn't eat another bite. The portion sizes are more than sufficient. Our family dined outdoors, but when I stepped inside to use the restroom, I felt like I had entered a whole different world. The interior was decorated with eye-catching props that were tasteful and unique without being over-the-top. As we were leaving, I noticed another spacious patio on the opposite side and realized it was part of the same restaurant. It was wonderful to see couples and families relaxing over their meals and tea. I give this place the highest rating for both atmosphere and taste. Highly recommended!"
A beautiful place with very charming ocean view and vibes. It serves fresh farm to plate meal with vegan, vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Being a vegetarian we loved coconut vegan curry most, it’s must try dish. Vegan tacos was also delicious. I heart you waffle was also tasty. Cali Amaro and Fresh Mint were great mocktails. Location is very good on pier , giving breathtaking ocean view. You may have an option for both. , indoor or outdoor sitting. Plenty of parking, paid, available in the parking lot by the side of the restaurant.
Very beautiful place. Food was good. Cheese cake looked exceptional and oddly nice, but tastes not that good and Cheese. Waffle was also different but so delicious.
The best view and food in Malibu! You absolutely cannot miss the Coconut Vegan Curry—it was the total show-stealer of the meal. The Crab Cake Sandwich was incredibly fresh and paired perfectly with their potatoes, and the Zucchini Pizza is a must-try for something light and flavorful. Wash it all down with their freshly squeezed orange juice while watching the waves. Everything feels fresh, coastal, and high-quality. Highly recommend sitting at the end of the pier for the full experience!
We ordered zuchunni pizza and vegan coconut curry. Loved the taste of both the dishes. The tofu in coconut curry was tender and fresh. We went there after sunset and the beach waas covered with dense fog. The pier was also closed for some reason. So we didnt get much chance to enjoy the beach vibe.
Malibu Farm Pier Café is one of the best spots along the coast. The ocean views alone make it worth the visit, but the fresh, flavorful food and welcoming service take it to another level. Everything tastes clean and high-quality, and you can tell they use great ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed, bright, and perfect for a casual meal right over the water. If you’re in Malibu, this café is absolutely a must-stop. Highly recommend!
The look and taste of the food was very pleasing. I ordered the Fried Egg Sandwich, and the taste and portion worth its price, with the Surfer’s Rancheros. The atmosphere (interior and exterior) of the restaurant was also very gorgeous, along with the scenic ocean view.
The lobster roll is the bomb! It looks tiny but it ain’t. It’s buttery and delicious. I added caviar that I bought myself ‘cause why not!? The view by itself makes the whole experience so much better. I’ll be back

The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the view… honestly, no words, it’s the kind of place that makes you stop and just take it all in. Yesterday, I went again, but this time I wanted to sit down and have coffee with the beautiful view they have. I went to their coffee and gelato shop, which is different from the restaurant, but still the same people. I was so happy that two hours that I spent there not just because I had a wonderful coffee with the great view, but because these three people were so nice with me. The Argentinian girl was super helpful for explaining to me how it works because I wanted to sit down and have coffee instead of going to the restaurant upstairs so she explained how it works and she was super nice. Then the barista who is from Spain, was extremely nice and made my coffee exactly the way I wanted it with a huge smile on his face. The other guy helped me out and choose the best table so I can charge my phone. The three of them made me feel so good I didn’t want to leave! And I cannot wait to go back again. For tourists or locals a great place to spend time. Attentive service, fantastic food and the best views anywhere. I went on a Monday at about 11a and it was no wait even with a large party of 9. I imagine the weekends to be quite backed when the weather is good. Street parking or paid parking.

We found this place by chance while driving from Los Angeles — and it turned out to be an iconic spot for brunch! 🥞☕️ Parking is easy — there’s a paid lot nearby ($15 per hour). Just keep in mind that this place is always busy, so expect about a 30-minute wait. On sunny days, I’d recommend avoiding the outdoor seating — the sun gets really strong and you might end up sunburned. 🌞 We ordered the lobster burrito and the crab burger — both were absolutely divine! 🦞🍔 The seafood was fresh and flavorful, the portions generous, and the dishes surprisingly healthy — everything came with either salad or baby potatoes, no greasy sauces or heavy sides. The lemonade was fantastic, though the cappuccino could have been better. The staff was polite, though a few waiters came across as a bit aloof — probably because the place is always packed. Overall, we loved everything about it and would definitely come back again!
Me and GF decided to try this place at the Malibu beach pier. They were understaffed and some in training(waiter wise) but all waiters still were friendly and polite. Food was delicious and warm, we had the chicken, steak and salmon options. Jade, was our server and he did fantastic. My only complaint is, I order a flight of beer but, they did not fill my glasses at least to the top for the price. But overall noce view of the ocean and good food, but pricey.

Not for vegetarians Terrible management and servers. They only have low calorie pasta and lobster pasta. If I want real pasta I have to pay for 2 kids meals, plus an additional $5 adult charge totaling $34 for a simple pasta dish.
