This local GEM has been around for years. I go every now and then and it’s always consistent. If you want steak the way you want steak, you get it. Burgers entrees always on the money. My teenage boys love to come with us when we say we are going bc they love the burgers. We went last night and the owner is abiding by all the precautions. Has dividers up Btwn tables and felt pretty safe. It’s the perfect local pub w great company. I’m glad we eventually returned.

Great local place....Pop in for dinner, or reserve a space for a special family dining affair. If you miss Patrick’s Pub in Little Neck, come to Connolly Station. Connolly’s has a bigger variety. Food is first rate. Steaks perfect. Salmon dishes best around. Lunch offerings for every taste from corned beef on rye; to soup and interesting salads. Quick efficient staff always ready to accommodate. Great example of “The Malverne vibe.”

We stopped by for lunch. I had the Irish Stew which was delicious. We shared the calamari and zucchini appetizers which were also great. The service was friendly and attentive. Will stop by next time we are in Malverne

First time here. Laid back Irish pub/grub. Located in the heart of Malverne village. Quaint little town for those unfamiliar. Shepard's pie, Fish & chips, lots of appetizers. Different coffee liqueur drinks for after dinner. Bar seating, indoor and outdoor dining. Live music on Sunday nights (Irish, of course.) Parking on street or in adjacent lot. Will definitely visit again. Go to Malverne Cinema right down the avenue, then stop in for dinner and/or cocktails.

Me and my family love coming here. The food is always great and they have the best shepherds pie I've ever had. The food is always great. The drinks are the quality you'd want from an Irish pub, great. The desert was unexpectedly good from a pub. They have a raspberry sherbet covered in chocolate that is delicious, we've gone here for just that with after dinner drinks. It's also a great spot to come and have some drinks at the bar and maybe an app like their stellar Irish nachos. All things considered a top quality pub.

Place was warm and inviting. Our waitress was friendly and engaging. Even though she was busy, my friend and I didn't feel neglected. The burger I had was excellent. I saw many menu items that I'll have to come bevy and try.. and I'll brings other friends too!

Let me begin by saying that I had never been to this restaurant before, but I have passed it many times over the years. I have to say I will return!! We had a nice lunch on the outside patio, the weather was superb! Danielle was our server, and she couldn't have been more pleasant and attentive. It is a small but comfortable pub. The food was amazing. The waiter was cool. The only drawback was that the restrooms were so small. You had to stand over the toilet seat to open the door. I would go back.

I treated my client to dinner in celebration of her 95th Birthday. I had the Connelly Burger and she had the Combo platter which included Baby back Ribs (falling off the bone tender), Shrimp, Baked Potato, Steamed Broccoli and Soup. I had called the day before to make reservations and mentioned that it was a special occasion. We were given the Royal treatment. Everyone was super nice and attentive. Will definitely be visiting again! Highly recommended!!!!!

After a long day of work, nothing beats coming to this place. You can play music on their selection device, darts in the back, black Jack on their arcade machine and of course enjoy their fine dine and drinks! Love this place. Natalie is an Angel. She will take care of you.

Small, cozy atmosphere with warm, friendly local faces. A great spot for some hearty classic Irish dishes. If you happen to stop in on a night when there’s live music, you’ll find yourself in the middle of what feels like a big family gathering.

First time I've visited this place. They close at 10pm. But I had some excellent medium hot wings. Had a huge bacon cheeseburger on a toasted bun with steak fried fries. Good jukebox. Will visit again soon. Irish music at 6pm on Sundays.

I love the atmosphere food and service.. make sure to book a reservation on live music nights.

I used to come to Connolly Station in Malverne often for drinks, food, and entertainment, and it was always a great experience. This place is way better than Murph's, come here for Irish food! Great atmosphere, servers were very responsive and quick with getting our food out to my girlfriend and my friends. Even though we had an event to go to and couldn't sit for long, we got our food and was able to eat and pay with great service.

Great Sunday dinner with live music. Irish band was fun, played classic Irish and some popular songs. Very fun. Porterhouse Steak is standout - better than most and great price. Irish Grill was perfect (not thrilled w potato pancakes) got it with eggs so like a Irish breakfast deluxe. Fried zucchini and calamari very tasty apps. I did not like the buffalo sauce on wings. Terrell was very attentive and pleasant. Owner gave us delicious home made soda bread. A great time. Edit - on a recent visit we had a few mishaps - forgotten appetizer and burger overcooked. First time we had a negative experience here and the waitress seem unconcerned and did not offer any consolation. This inconsistency may keep us from returning. something simple like a complimentary drink would have made us feel more inclined to return.

A perfect lunch at Connolly's in Malvern on a rainy day. The Reuben & Bloody Mary were excellent, the onion soup was the best that I have had in a long time. Our server was friendly & attentive, prices are reasonably.

The service is friendly, the food is what you expect from a bar restaurant, the location is convenient since it is so use to the train station. It is the best sit down food option on that strip.

I always like to go to Connolly Station for quick bite and pint staff are friendly and welcoming you should try the Irish nachos and the shepherd pie, just writing this of you made me want to go back again and have another serving of the Irish nachos

Crowded neighborhood bar and restaurant. Hot wings and reuben sandwich is a good choice. Live Irish music on late Sunday afternoons is a nice treat. The Guinness on tap quenches the thirst.

Good place for a late diner as they are usually open later than most restaurants around Malverne. The food is reasonably priced and the wings are pretty good.

Nice place to go have some drinks before heading home. A buddy of mine lives in the neighborhood, so we'll go every now and then we visit.

Steak tidbits on garlic bread is what I always get and it's always nearly perfect. Soda is always flat so don't recommend getting that.

Old time Irish pub. It smells like beer when you walk in,but don't let that stop you. Older crowd at the bar most of the time. The food is very good. I never Ordered anything I didn't like. Also has outside seating.

Friendly home town pub where your always welcome and treated like family, Natalie bartends weekdays and is more than happy to put you in your place if needed! Don't let her size fool you this Irish Las is tough as nails and if she can't handle you I'm only a phone call away to take care of her light work, but seriously nice place to meet for drinks or a bite to eat

Everything from the atmosphere to the drinks and appetizers to the main entrees were really delicious! The owner came over to say hello and welcomed us! Cool atmosphere, relaxing and comfortable. La he menu with lots of Irish options. Food came out correctly, sides were a bit small in size. Staff were quick with drink refills and delivering our food. Would recommend, and would stop back in for a bite or for Sunday brunch.

Wonderful. The wait staff is great. As a former restaurant manager, I appreciate the great service and personal attention they give to every customer. The food is authentic on the Irish side. And my children enjoy burgers, fries and chicken as well. Bar is amazing. Guinness, Harp and Bass Ale to make the best half and half (black and tan) and every liquor shot or mix you could want.

Food was good. Just enough. Friendly staff. Not overpriced. Four stars instead of five because of the table behind us. Their waitress stated that she was "just too busy" to make a cappuccino. That is just not acceptable. Our waitress, on the other hand, was EXCELLENT!

Typical US "Irish" pub. Food is pretty good, but standard pub fare. The menu is a lot broader than the typical "Irish"pub though, so it's easy to find something to suit your fancy.

Burger was great! Corned beef on the rueben was a little tough, stringy, and fatty. Soup was delicious as were the ribs and BBQ shrimp. We picked up and meal was ready and waiting when they said it would be. Everyone was friendly and seems like a nice place to enjoy a meal.

I haven't been back since we had an unpleasant experience with the hostess. We arrived 5 or so minutes before our reservation at 5pm. The hostess was trying to seat an extremely large party that did not have a reservation. We did not get seated until 5:10. Our server was absolutely wonderful and the food was good. However, at about 6 (mind you we had appetizers and dinner for 5 people within an hour) as my children were just handed their dessert the hostess comes back and says, I wouldn't want to rush you through your dessert but I do have people waiting on their reservations. What?! We had reservations but we were made to wait and we did not complain. We ordered relatively quickly and we weren't even at our table for a full hour including the time waiting for the server to take our drink order, bring it and then take our food order. I'd say getting to desert (which we had to wait for) in under an hour with 3 children was a fantastic feat. How dare she tell us other people had reservations when we did and they are the ones that took in a last minute party of 20 people. I would say that messed up their reservations for the night, not a family of 5 that had a reservation. And my kids were on tablets so they weren't being hellions. So we weren't being gently asked to leave. This was a year ago and it's still left such a sour taste in our mouths that we haven't been back. Which is a shame because everything was fine until that women making us feel like we were a problem. She is the reason for the 1 star atmosphere, she's the reason I only b give 3 stars for service.

Food is good. I typically get it Via DoorDash. I am not in the food industry, however, everyone should know by now that styrofoam melts!? My dinner (shell steak) arrived packed in a styrofoam clamshell. Notice the holes in the pictures. I am guessing the missing styrofoam found itself into my dinner? This is just unacceptable practices.

Mediocre at best. For a place that has been around forever, I had high expectations. Ordered a burger medium, got a hockey puck. I asked for extra lettuce and tomato in lieu of a bun, got one sad piece of each. Half of my potato was rock solid and inedible. The diet coke was good.

They are better restaurants in the area that you should consider save your money.

First and last visit. My husband and I went in for lunch not that busy, ordered right away and 30 minutes later no food. We asked what was going on, she checks then says chef is new and is working on it. 10 - 12 minutes later we ask again and same answer. We got up and left. My husband left a few dollars for sodas.

I have never once felt so disrespected by a waiter ever in my life. They made me feel unwelcome with their attitude and way they talked to me. The food was way over priced for what is actually is. Save your money a go to a Applebees you’ll get way better food there. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN

Had dinner there last Friday night. I have eaten there many times over the years and never had a problem. However I will never go back. The place was packed beyond 100% capacity. There was a party of 16 that were yelling across the restaurant with no masks. My order was brought out wrong but I was so desperate to leave that I kept it and barely ate. It tasted horrible anyway. We complained to the management and told them during a pandemic this was not a way to keep customers coming back. I blame myself. I really want to support local businesses but when I saw how packed it was I should have left

Unless you have burnt off your taste buds by chain smoking, I highly do not recommend. The mash potatoes on the Shepard pie come from a box the meat is gelatinous corn starch to thicken it. DO NOT GET THE ESPRESSO MARTINI!!!! Blood sausage made a hockey puck look moist. Stick to Guinness. Other than that. Staff was nice and friendly.

I’ve never ever not left tipped before. I leave amazing tip. I’ve left someone a 100 dollar tip before. I’ve been coming to this place a while. Like over 10 years. This waitress Tiffany was not only of the bat not friendly, but she was complaining about a customer too who was drunk etc, and in front of everyone. She was pissed. My issue is, I’ve been coming here for a while. The owner of the place has always been amazing to me & but today was prob the worst experience I’ve had here and I’ve never had a bad experience here ever!!. If you want a tip then don’t be of the bat rude and nasty to me. I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU A TIP. BE WELCOMING.BE NICE.
