I've always loved this place since my first time there out in Colorado. The food is always delicious. You can go traditional Greek style or try a new American variation.

Truly a special treat to find this Pita Pit. Healthy food and great people come together to make this the best place in Mammoth Lakes to eat. We stopped by here after a day of skiing and had the best pitas and a great conversation with one of the owners. I cannot remmend it enough. Make sure to stop by for a healthy lunch or dinner after a long day of skiing.

Fresh snacks at a fair price in the center of Mammoth Lakes. Order at the counter. The name is called out when the food is ready. My cheese pita was very tasty. The team was also very friendly.

Nice fast food location, decent restrooms, prompt service. Decent parking, not busy during visit. Staff are fine. Food was good, prices were good considering where you are at. Would certainly stop here again in the future. Entrance, seating, counter, and restroom are all accessible.

It is nice food place just like subway. Located on lake mary road and Main Street. There is 30 minute parking in front of restaurant. And a 2 hour parking opposite to the road. Veggie pita is super delicious. You get to choose choice of pita bread. You get lot of veggies to choose something like make your own veggie pita. Cleanly maintained. There are fountain drinks available. There is Indoor and out door seating. I would say a fast and healthy food place. Enjoy!

If you're looking for some quick food go here. Don't waste your time with any other quick turn around food because this is the best on the mountain. We got the buffalo chicken and souvlaki. The staff talked us through the process and made it quick. We couldn't believe how delicious it was, And very reasonably priced!

Tasty options. Pretty quick delivery. Lots of options with veggies and different meats for what you are craving. Only downside is their small salad option is pretty small. Especially for the price. Either go up to the large salad, or just get it pita wrapped.

I ordered the Ode to Athens bowl with chicken souvlaki and I was extremely happy with it. Everything in the bowl tasted fresh and it was enough to fill me up. I also ordered pita chips with hummus. The hummus was extremely tasty. It's a good place to have lunch. Only downside is there isn't much seating so if you come during a busy time or with a big group, you might have to find seating outside.

We ordered one super Greek pita sandwich and one bruschetta bowl. I really liked the taste of the bowl but the portion was fairly small even for a light eater like me. The pita sandwich was a good portion for hubby. Restroom was clean but the soap container was empty.

We went here for lunch on Saturday. This is located in the downtown Mammoth. There is limited free parking on the roadside or Pai parking across the road. We ordered custom pita sandwiches and a custom falafel salad. I added red pepper hummus tzatziki pepperonchini, falafel, chipotle sauce, spicy jalapeño and feta. The falafel pitas were good and so was the custom salad. However one thing that off-putting was that they were using the same gloves for handling vegetarian and non vegetarian items.

No frills fast food Mediterranean Mexican fusion. You can choose what greens and veggies you can put or omit to your sandwich. The falafels though are smaller and crumbly but the sauces were good. Reminded me of subway sauces.

The bread was super dry but they gave a sumptuous amount of filling inside. I had the chicken one and had to order extra hummus since it got so dry and could not swallow without any sauce or dip! You can do a quick stop here only if you are famished and all other options are closed.

We went there during lunch time and ordered Falafel bowl and pita warp. Falafel tasted like frozen, bought from grocery store, and the sauce was average. It was average food.

Messy assembly area as food was tossed all over the prep counter. Employees seemed untrained and disorganized. While I was there orders were mistaken, food was dropped on the floor, and staff was very confused with each other’s communication. Food was not bad although the pita was ripped and soggy. Falafels were tasty but cold. Rooting for this place to improve as healthy food options are limited at the village.

I will say this is an okay place. It has bowls, salads and pita. The veggies were not fresh. The roman lettuce was a few days old and the cut cilantro had gone rotten. For a place which serves salad, at least they should have fresh ingredients . I got the vegetarian quinoa bowl. It was 95% rice and 5% quinoa, not happy about that

Not good option in veg. Been eating at tks, cava they are one of the best so far. And this one no where near. Food was okay, I'm first time eating here at pita pit. And falafel was like purchase from trader Joe's or somewhere. Didn't see authentic taste at all. There is one near my home got best pita and dressings. And on top I didn't have good experience with their service either. Guy forget to prepare my order while I am standing it front of him and didn't bother to ask me what I am waiting for. I was part of big group but all ordered separately. Mistakes can happen. So when I reminded him the owner jumped in and start saying to be respectful or he will not prepare my order. I was like what's wrong with you. Respectful for what. "By asking you to prepare my order by saying.. hey you have forgot to prepare my lunch, can you please prepare. I already paid you in up front for". And here is my receipt which actually he asked to see. And that's when I am in line waiting to be asked for my choices. Wouldn't it be appropriate to say something like "sorry, what would you want in your bowl" may be. Btw .... All I said was "are you gonna skip me or what, I am waiting." What I didn't like was guy who said he is owner, at end messed up my order anyway rather paying extra attention to prepare one.

Paid 19 dollars for a hot dog sized pita that had more lettuce than anything in it. Don't come here hungry because you will still be hungry when you leave.. won't be back!

The food is not fresh. All food Vegetarian and non-vegetarian are cooked on the same pan. The falafels are premade and just roasted on a pan. Sad!

The pita wrap was really small for being $13 and had way too much carrots. The falafel balls with extras at $5 was pretty good. The young employees acted like hostages and could not answer questions about the food. I would not eat there again.

The lettuce they used was super gross. Slimy. Would not go back. It took several minutes for them to take my order as they were chatting amongst themselves. Eventually got my order in. 20 minutes roll by. They haven't started so I walk over right in front of the people making the food. (Had been sitting at table waiting for them to call it was ready) several minutes later, they look up and ask. "What did you order again" Eventually I get handed this salad and it was gross. If I wasn't needing to get back on the road. I would have requested them make me a new one but it was already an hour long experience. They could definitely use some training.

They told us the food would be ready in 20 minutes but it took over an hour because they lost the receipt for our order. Our order was completely butchered as some items were mislabeled and others were flat out wrong. We received a beef dish that was labeled as a chicken one. The kids working were clearly overwhelmed and could greatly use some management.

Disappointing food! Recommend eating elsewhere We tried ode to Athens and hula teriyaki entrees. Both did not have any sauces, the meat was flavorless and hard. The food was bland and disappointing. Only saving grace for the 1 star was the falafel side and quick service.

Ordered hummus wrap without feta - confirmed no feta upon pickup, tasted a bit odd so asked to make sure no tsatsiki or feta again, they confirmed. Halfway through wrap feta fell out the wrap. I am lactose intolerant and facing an evening of gastro-intestinal pain. Food was bad as well, not worth the wrapper its served in let alone the dairy induced pain.

Poor quality. The food was extremely dry and the bowls are just not worth it. Avoid this place.

Ordered the gyro sandwich which was a cold pita stuffed with a small amount of cold gyro meat and a lot of cold veggies. Definitely won’t be going back.
