Dined here last night with a friend and everything was fabulous- the atmosphere, service, food and drinks. The steak was cooked perfectly and the calamari & king prawn starters were especially delicious. The only slight downside was large groups taking pictures in the toilets but I guess that’s just the times we live in. Overall a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!
Had a fantastic experience at Cut & Craft Manchester! I started with the oysters, which were beautifully fresh, followed by a perfectly cooked rib eye, and finished with a delicious cheese board – everything was spot on. The setting is absolutely stunning, one of the most impressive restaurant interiors I’ve seen. 1st we had the most genuine welcome from Rosie, and made us feel welcomed the second we arrived. Our server was lovely, warm, attentive and made us feel really looked after. A special shout out to Jake behind the bar who took the time to share some insight into the refurbishment – such a nice touch that made the visit even more memorable. Can’t wait to return!
We hired the private dining room to celebrate our anniversary. Wow what an experience, we felt like celebrities Everything was superb! The food, the drinks, the service, all made our day so special. The table was decorated so nice with beautiful flowers. The communication and organisation from Rosie pre meal was fantastic, quick responses and accommodated all of our requests. On the day the team looking after us got everything just perfect. We’ve eaten at the York and Leeds venues this was by far our best performance experience. There was a bottomless brunch on upstairs meaning the restaurant was super busy but in no way did this impact our day. The music was lively and the entertainment looked fun. We will be back most probably to one of the brunches
Had an incredible meal here- the croquettes and chicken skewer starters were brilliant and the steak (fillet) was absolute next level. I would go back for the gravy alone and I’m seriously debating buying a packet of the salt Atmosphere was good- busy but it was a Friday night. Staff were great and the manager took the time to check how our meal was which was a nice touch. It’s not the restaurant’s fault but the toilets are annoying, can hardly get in as so many people are taking endless photos but that was the only minor irritation I had with a fabulous evening
Very stylish restaurant with a heritage building rebuild. We ordered some drinks at the bar when waiting for our tables ready. We ordered Rib-eye as they have many different choice of beef 🥩 menu. Also I additionally ordered the dessert with a biscoff chocolate shell with a Berries sorbet.🍧
The food was gorgeous, their steaks done to perfection. It’s in a beautiful place, with the architecture it just moi ! Our server Faith was excellent, she was so helpful and kind . She also left the brilliant recommendation of the cauliflower croquettes which are lush . Thanks Faith, she really upped the experience greatly!
I visited The Cut & Craft Manchester on 5th January for my birthday and honestly, everything was amazing! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and stylish the perfect backdrop for a special occasion. A huge shout-out to our waiter Erion he made the night truly unforgettable! His service was attentive, friendly, and thoughtful, and he made sure we felt celebrated on my birthday. That personal touch made all the difference and really elevated our experience.
Cut & Craft in Manchester is absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was electric and the décor was stunning. Everything was perfect — the food, the drinks, the service — nothing missed a beat. Honestly, this place is a must-visit for any occasion. I can’t wait to go back!
It was our first time in the Cut & Craft, an old bank converted in April to a restaurant, on Christmas Eve. We were met at the door and greeted by welcoming staff and shown to the bar as we were a little early. The restaurant was beautiful, high ceilings, olive trees, subtle lighting, christmas decorations, music not loud enough to drown out conversation and immaculately dressed staff. After sitting chatting at the bar, we were shown to our table by a friendly lady called Elidah I think, and ordered from the varied menu. The food was excellent and we enjoyed a nice relaxed evening. Downstairs there was a lobby with Christmas themed decorations including a life-sized Santa and a 'log fire'. So, all in all, a lovely family evening. The price reflected the quality of the food, the service and the surroundings. Recommended for special occasions. A big thank you to all the staff.
Delicious meal. I went for a friend’s birthday meal, and as a vegetarian was surprised at how delicious the veggie options were. I had the hazelnut hummus followed by the shepherd’s pie. Both were exquisite. Would love to see them add a few more veggie options in there (bear in mind I was limited on choice as we did the winter set menu, £26 for two courses. Great value!). The atmosphere is incredible, such a beautiful place - you sort of understand why the Manchester “hidden gem” influencers go crazy for the bathroom lol.
Food is amazing, beef tartare was so fresh and tender, could taste the quality immediately. Had the chateaubriand and was such good quality, peppercorn and blue cheese sauce right consistency. Sides immense. Dessert was faultless Service impeccable, came as walk in for partners birthday and hosts got us an amazing table. Our server sorry cant remember name but she had beautiful hair was so attentive and friendly, gave amazing recommendations and heard us say celebrating a birthday that day and got us a birthday plate Had a live singer and was great to hear. Amazing temperature and atmosphere Will be back again each month
My partner used to work here when it was the old RBS so we had to go. Really nice place and lots of original features kept. Stunning inside and the old vault downstairs looks fantastic. Welcomed by really friendly staff and shown to our table. Drinks arrived really quickly. We had steak tartare and tempura seafood plater for starters and flat iron steak and halibut for our mains. We ordered sides of potato dauphinoise, onion rings and coliflower cheese croquettes. The dauphinoise were paticularly tasty. All the food arrived piping hot and was delicious 😋. Will definitely be returning
Look out for Ellie amazing service and pleasant. I celebrated my birthday at Cut & Craft and it was such an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely incredible — everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the sides were delicious, and the drinks were spot on. The atmosphere is stunning too, with an elegant, classy setting that makes the whole evening feel really special. A big shoutout to Ellie for the wonderful service. She was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome throughout the night. She even surprised me with a birthday ice cream and candle, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration extra special. Highly recommend Cut & Craft if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!
We came here to celebrate my friends birthday. The service provided was so great, the team couldn’t have been more helpful. Followed by delicious food and drinks. The vibe is so good, has a real sense of luxury.
Everything is top tier, we loved the steak we ordered the flat iron. only issue is it’s crazy expensive £35 for a ribeye and t-bone was £58! The flat iron was £18 and it was filling if you get chips. I got truffle and parmesan fries which were really nice with the steak
Walking into The Cut & Craft Manchester feels like stepping into a grand, Gatsby-esque dining experience, opulent interiors, a stunning marble bar, and the kind of plush velvet seating that makes you want to stay a while. Set in a beautifully restored former bank on Mosley Street, the space alone is worth a visit. I went in with high expectations after hearing about their Leeds and York spots, and Manchester did not disappoint. The venue is absolutely stunning—think grand old bank vibes with a touch of modern luxe. But let’s talk about the food, because that’s where it really shines. We went all in with the Chateaubriand and Rib-eye steak, both cooked to perfection tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. The peppercorn and bone marrow gravy was rich and indulgent, the kind of sauce you wish you could bottle up and take home. On the side, we had dauphinoise potatoes (creamy, garlicky heaven), truffle & parmesan fries (crispy and addictive), plus a bunch of greens charred asparagus & spinach, and charred tenderstem broccoli which added just the right balance. The service was great, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the whole evening felt like a treat. Definitely a new go-to for special occasions or just when you’re in the mood to seriously indulge.
Wonderful meal here. The building is amazing inside, really beautiful as it is a converted bank, so grand high ceilings, chandeliers and columns. There is a private dining area downstairs with its own bar which looked amazing. A speciality wine cellar, even the toilets were beautiful. The food was excellent. We had the burger and chicken breast. The chicken breast was a little small but very tasty. The burger was generous. We had Mac and cheese and onion rings as sides, both brilliant. The desserts were incredible. You could probably share one between 2. We had baked Alaska and the gold bar, both amazing! We were served by Chops and she was wonderful! Friendly and extremely attentive without being overly so, just right. She cleared our empty bottles, checked back, made sure our water was topped up, gave us descriptions of the dishes when we asked. She was a delight. We would highly recommend and would return.
Had a 60th birthday meal for 23 people last night in the private dining room. What a fabulous evening. The staff were amazing , thank you so much to Lewis and his team , the service was impeccable. The venue sumptuous and luxurious surroundings. The food was great a set menu, could not be faulted . The whole team made us feel like we were the only ones there. Special shout out to Rosie the manager for ensuring all details were attended to and to Kelsey for all her help . Cant wait to visit again
This was me and my friend's first impression of Manchester, and we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. We had the 3 course lunch menu and every part of the meal was perfect - the pea and asparagus soup was beautifully presented; the steak and fries with peppercorn sauce was so delightful, perfectly cooked; the brownie and ice cream was honest to God the best thing I've ever tasted. The 3 for £12 peach-strawberry-raspberry bellinis were a really good deal as well, perfectly made and generously poured. The service was A1, our server was so lovely and attentive, and the atmosphere of the place is so special and unforgettable (the restrooms feel like they were sliced directly out of heaven). Every element of the experience was perfect. Thank you Cut & Craft for a wonderful birthday meal!!!
Absolutely amazing service and food, not to mention the beautiful decor. We had the 3 course lunch menu - amazing value and quality! We will definitely come back with our partners and family next time Didn’t get the waiters name, but he was so friendly and lovely
Just an amazing experience. We dined here last night an our hosts were Mia and Isobel, both girls were so lovely. We were celebrating my daughter’s graduation and they gifted her a graduation card signed from the C&C team which was such a lovely touch. The restaurant is beautiful (I’m a regular diner at the Leeds restaurant but hadn’t been here before and we got a tour of the place which is in an old bank and the vault is now a private dining suite. From their own signature scent in the restaurant to the branded umbrellas and concierge at the door. The whole experience just gives a wonderful feel. Mia took the time to talk to my daughter and make a fuss of her which was really lovely and made her feel really special. The food is amazing and came about 10 mins after ordering. Such good value for money and for the experience I don’t know how they keep their prices so reasonable. But most of all it was the service that was outstanding. Not only were our servers really lovely but every member of staff that passed us smiled and said hi. They looked genuinely happy to be there which is nice to see. We will be back very soon and I’d like to say a massive thank you to Darioush in Leeds for arranging this booking for us. It was a great end to a very special day. Thank you C&C.
Had a great dinner at Cut & Craft in Manchester. The pork belly starter was tender and flavourful, the sirloin steak was perfectly cooked, and the truffle & parmesan fries were amazing. Lovely atmosphere, good wine, and attentive service, highly recommend!
We had the most amazing experience here celebrating our anniversary. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with such a lovely atmosphere. The staff were incredible, very warm and welcoming and our waitress Lisa was especially wonderful. The food was honestly the best I’ve had in a long time. The steak was cooked to perfection, and every single side dish was spot on. It was such a special evening and we’ll definitely be back very soon!
Food was really great, one of the best steaks I’ve had in Manchester. Quite pricey. Great service. People were queuing to taking pictures in the bathroom lol.
Delicious food, well presented and service quality excellence. Our waitress, Faith, was superb, very attentive, nothing was too much trouble and she kept us fully refreshed at the perfect moment. We were a party of 10. We arrived a little early and we chose to sit at the bar while our dining companions arrived. I had the draft 0% IPA, served in an ice cold glass. Wonderful. My wife had a crisp apple cider. When we sat down our food was presented as ordered. I had the hazelnut hummus, with a side of toasted bread. I asked for chilli butter. Combined, this made the hummus exquisite. Cottage pie followed which was topped with parmesan cheese, not too much, a perfect compliment. The pie was perfect. Biscoff shell with pomegranate sorbet followed, again , delicious. Highly recommended for lunch. I would say the best English menu restaurant in Manchester. Will be coming back regularly.
Incredible! From the decor, service and food it was 10/10. Reception team were lovely and very welcoming for our first visit! The server gave us great recommendations and was super attentive, sorry I didn’t catch her name. Food was delicious. Really recommend the truffle croquet and chicken Kiev. Thank you for a wonderful Saturday evening, already planning our next visit! (Also the best smelling restaurant I’ve ever been in!)
5 Star Experience at Cut and Craft, Manchester! We were lucky to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary at Cut and Craft in Manchester, and we couldn’t have had a better experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a special celebration. Our waitress, Sage, was absolutely incredible. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure every part of our dining experience was perfect. The food was exceptional! Each dish was beautifully presented and everything was cooked to perfection. We genuinely felt like we were treated like VIPs the whole time, and it made our celebration that much more special. If you’re looking for an amazing meal in Manchester with fantastic service, Cut and Craft is a must-visit. Huge thanks to Sage and the team for making our 20th anniversary one to remember!
It’s a spectacular space. High ceilings, grand features, and everything feels polished and classy. Definitely somewhere you feel like you’ve “gone out out” for Sunday. We went for The Sunday Sharing Roast (£59 for two). Sirloin beef, roasted half chicken and pork belly, served with roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips, Yorkshire puddings, charred Hispi cabbage, onion purée, broccoli and unlimited homemade gravy. It was presented beautifully and there was plenty on the board. The unlimited gravy is always a welcome phrase to see on a menu. That said, nothing in particular blew me away. Everything was good, well cooked and nicely put together, but at nearly £30 per person I did expect something a little more memorable. It’s undeniably a classy setting and would suit a celebratory Sunday, but in terms of pure roast satisfaction, it sits in the “solid” category for me rather than spectacular. Verdict: A good roast in a stunning setting, but for the price point I was hoping to be a little more wowed. 🍽️ Paying customer | Honest review
What a glamorous location in the centre of Manchester. We went for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed with the food (although it could have been a tad hotter). We ordered a Sunday Roast sharing platter - it was fabulously presented with perfectly cooked roast beef and chicken, the pork tasted lovely but there was no crackling. The gravy was tasty and rich. The restaurant is beautiful with a rich art deco vibe The only thing that was lacking was the service- which we were expected to pay 12.5% for (although the waitress said it was optional). The waitress was lovely but not attentive- we’d been shown to our table with half a drink and half a glass of water each- We were never asked again if we wanted any more water or another drink. We were not asked if everything was ok until she was clearing the plates. I accidentally dropped my knife on the floor, we asked for a replacement and watched as she finished off the glass stacking job she was doing, then we t over to another table and then came to ask me if I still needed a new knife - despite seeing me get up, walk over to another table and collect my own knife so I could continue eating my lunch. However she was polite and sweet - just not very attentive, so we said we’d pay 10% service and not the 12.5% on the bill. There was no argument or bad feeling. All in all though I left with a good feeling and would definitely give it another go.
Very nice venue and the service from the waiting staff was excellent. The fish and chips were lovely but the chips were slightly undercooked. Nobody came to check on us so I was unable to mention this. I would say the entire menu is slightly overpriced. The fish and chips was £22!! I would perhaps visit again if there were decent special offers. I didn't think the winter offer had enough choice.
I was really excited when I first heard of Cut and Craft opening in Manchester, and their Mosley Street location certainly has a lot going for it. It’s a beautiful restaurant in an old building, which they’ve transformed to give it an elegant touch, making it a really nice place to be for sure. The vibes inside the restaurant are cool; they have cushioned seating adding a relaxing, lounge-meets-fancy vibe, making this the ideal location for something more relaxed or something more formal/intimate. The gluten-free menu is really good and goes beyond steak and fries, even including gluten-free croutons for the Caesar salad and gluten-free buns for the burgers, and there are many dishes I would like to try here in the future. On my most recent visit, I went for the Flat Iron Steak with the homemade chips. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and everything was delicious and high quality. The pricing is competitive compared to other places nearby, starting at £16 for the Flat Iron Steak + sides + service, and I’ve certainly had a lot worse when paying more or similar prices around. There are two things I dislike about this place: The first being the reception area — it feels more like a high school or an office building. They asked for my name even without a reservation, and it really didn’t feel like I was at a restaurant. The second is the reservations system as a whole. Even at non-peak times, there is a deposit required for a reservation, which I feel shows a lack of trust in guests and is off-putting. This is one of the few restaurants in the city that has a compulsory deposit at all times. I just don’t feel it’s the welcome a place like this should offer. Sure, once you get inside the main restaurant, it’s beautiful and the service is great, but this kind of ruins the experience. I did have a good time here, and the food is good, so I would return.
As always I base my reviews on value for money, the decor in the restaurant is beautiful but having the toilets as a place to visit rather than coming for the excellent food is a bit strange! The staff were excellent and very attentive but I only give them 4 stars and we waited a very long time for the main courses to come. The food was good but again value for money not brilliant, we had one alcoholic drink one starter, bread and 2 steaks and 3 sides, a desert and it came to £175! The chicken skewer starter was nice but only 2 pieces of chicken for £13! The bread basket was very nice and so was the accompanying butter. The steak were average, cooked the desired temp, the sirloin was better than the filet which was very tasteless, the side were very good though, especially the dauphinoise potatoes. The sticky toffee pudding was also very nice. I would recommend but there are better steak houses at this price point. My main gripe was the steak was not very sharp! I even asked for a second one but this was the same! Very hard to cut my steak. Lovely place for photos but I rather have better food that just be able to post the place on Instagram.
The food was an easy 10/10 – absolutely delicious – and the building itself is stunning. The drinks were also great. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, we were asked to wait at the bar as our table wasn’t ready. The bar area was extremely crowded, and with four of us, we felt like we were constantly in the way. Once seated, we ordered our food, which was spread over two courses. It ended up taking nearly two hours for everything to arrive. While the wait was long, we weren’t too bothered at first. However, when I asked for the dessert menu, the waitress told us they needed the table back, as it was only allocated for two hours. We were surprised and a bit puzzled – especially since the delay was due to the restaurant’s own slow service. After paying the bill, I mentioned the issue to the front-of-house team. To her credit, she was very understanding and said we absolutely shouldn’t have been asked to leave. She kindly offered to arrange dessert for us back at our table we had been sat at. I’m sure once the ball starts rolling and issues get ironed out. This place will be outstanding in every way.
Brunch was almost perfect. The pancakes with roasted walnuts and maple syrup was immaculate but the eggs Benedict and steak and eggs were average. Altogether the atmosphere was perfect the lighting was on point and the bathrooms were nice and didn’t smell like pee. The staff were super helpful and quick, they didn’t get anything wrong and even helped when we wanted to ask questions l. Definitely recommend to try at least once in your life
We came to The Cut & Craft for a late lunch. There were three of us and we were seated at one of the round tables. The space itself is nice. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed during that time of day, which made it comfortable enough to sit and chat. The only downside for me was the table. The round seating felt a bit tight and cramped. I’m 1.83m tall, so legroom and spacing matter, and it wasn’t the most comfortable setup. Food-wise, my partner recommended the place and mentioned that steak was probably their speciality, so naturally that’s what we ordered. We started with oysters, which were fine, but what stood out more was how long everything took. The wait between dishes was very long. It took close to 30 minutes for the mains to arrive after the starters, which felt excessive considering it was around 2pm and the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. When the steak finally arrived, it was underwhelming. The plating was quite poor and uninspiring. I don’t even remember if it came with any sauce. I ordered medium rare, but it arrived slightly overcooked. At that point we had already waited so long that I honestly didn’t have the patience to ask for a redo. Service was decent in terms of politeness, but the pacing of the meal was painfully slow. By the time the food arrived it was nearly 3pm and I was genuinely getting sleepy waiting. Overall, the experience just felt sluggish from start to finish. Also, it's not the cheapest so I expected better.
Visited The Cut and Craft a couple of weeks ago, Sunday afternoon so it was quite quite, we were seated tight in a corner, next to a large table who seemed to be getting a lot of the service attention. It was probably 10 minutes before anyone acknowledge us. We ordered the roast sharer, it wasn't great, food was just about warm, the chicken looked anaemic and the potatoes were really overcooked..the gravy was quite groups greasy too. I would have asked them to reheat it but couldn't get anyones attention and my partner doesn't like to make a fuss. The place itself is beautiful - would I hurry back not for the food or the service. Maybe for a drink if we were passing.
First visit to this new restaurant, have been to Leeds one, bit of a strange welcome and walk to table, impression of they weren’t sure where to go with us after a bit of a frosty greeting, unable to locate booking. Food was amazing, really tasty steak and chips, drinks order was slow and when we asked for our drinks (mains were out within about 10 mins) when our mains arrived we were met with hostility, they brought one over whilst the other was being made. Wouldn’t rush to go back until they have ironed out what is hopefully teething problems but service should be spot on at this point and the restaurant wasn’t busy and it’s not a cheap restaurant.
This place is nice, the venue itself is very grand and has a nice feel (its an old bank so lots of character which I liked). Our waiter was delightful and attentive. The music is a little loud for chatting which I think is a shame for this kind of place (we ate at around 7pm so thats a reasonable time to still want a chat). The clientele does feel a little influencer based especially because of the women's toilets. Food was good, but it is expensive for what you get but i will say the quality was high.
Overall our visit was more bad than good with the interior being the main eye catch in the restaurant, both food & drink options we initially wanted to try had finished so opted for the monkfish which just wasn’t it for me, the service was also strange as once we were seated we didn’t see any waiters until 20-30 mins later? And a further 30 mins for the food to arrive, we did ask to remove the service charge which I would never normally do. I’d probably only go back for the brunch menu which seems to have better food options & also the really stunning interior, total bill was £100 for 2 of us which I don’t think is worth the money in terms of the actual meal so a little disappointed given the place itself is honestly so visually appealing! Went home starving :(
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted at the front desk. As walk-in customers, we weren’t sure whether we’d get a table, but the team invited us to sit at the bar briefly while checking availability. We were soon offered high chairs in the corner which, given the circumstances, was perfectly fine. Service started promptly. Drinks arrived quickly – a mojito and a draught Peroni – both well made and enjoyable. For starters, we ordered the croquettes and pork belly. Both dishes were excellent: well-balanced, packed with flavour, and genuinely impressive. That said, the plates weren’t presented to the standard I’d expect in a fine dining setting — they weren’t squeaky clean and had visible fingerprints and grease marks, which took away slightly from the overall polish. While waiting for the mains, the host kindly gave us a tour downstairs to see the old vault, a nice touch that highlighted the building’s history as an RBS branch. The private dining room looked elegant and sophisticated, and I even considered it for a future special occasion. Unfortunately, the excitement dropped once the main course arrived. I ordered the rib-eye steak (medium rare), but it leaned closer to medium. The steak itself was underwhelming – lacking the juiciness and finesse you’d expect at this level. In comparison, steakhouses like Hawksmoor, Gaucho, and even 20 Stories delivered better cuts in my experience. The real saving grace were the sauces (peppercorn and bone marrow gravy), both of which were exceptional – a definite 10/10. As for the sides: • Potato dauphinois – fine, but lacking depth and flavour. • Mac & cheese – average, nothing memorable (Flat Iron does it better). • New potatoes – decent, but unremarkable. • Truffle parmesan fries – easily the standout: crisp, well-seasoned, and more enjoyable than those I’ve had in some top-end city spots. Service throughout was consistent and attentive, with regular check-backs from the team. I can’t fault the staff at all – they made the experience pleasant, especially as it was my birthday, though I didn’t want to make a fuss about the food. Overall: A mixed experience. Starters and service were excellent, but the steak and sides fell short of expectations, particularly compared with other premium steakhouses. Cut and craft Manchester ultimately lacks the consistency and impact needed to stand out in a competitive Manchester steak industry. Would I come here again for my birthday? Probably not. In other words It’s edible - but not amazing wow factor you should expect at an establishment like this.
We ordered the Sunday roast sharing platter, which came with everything. I really enjoyed the roasted vegetables as it had a sweet roasted flavour to it. The pork belly was juicy and generous amount, however the chicken and beef was slightly overdone for my liking. I did want my beef cooked due to personal reasons but it was overly cooked like beef jerky. I’ve been to other places where it was actually still juicy even if it’s cooked done. The atmosphere is nice for a little celebration, but our waitress kept forgetting things like our cutlery etc, we had to keep asking for certain things.
Great atmosphere, service was good as well. Food was only OK, and if you count in the value:quality ratio then it might not be worth it. We ordered a rib-eye steak, fish and chips with a side salad, and a starter of scallop/wagu. The steak was a bit dry, but overall not bad. The fish was fried very well, it had a crispy coating with moist fish meat inside. However, it was not seasoned at all, not a single salt nor pepper. And because of this the taste of beer from the batter became obvious and it renders the whole fish a bitter taste. The tartar sauce was amazing however it could not save that fish. The salad was drenched in salad dressing, making it quite unappetizing. The starter was delicious, however from our experience it did not taste like wagu, and overall the seasoning wasnt well executed, with scallop being over salty and wagu being under. In total we paid £105 for 2 people. It was not worth it. Please be aware this is a personal opinion, if you are curious about this restaurant it might still worth a try.
Highlights; a lovely building and welcoming staff. Truffle and Parmesan fries, the prawns and cauliflower cheese croquettes were 10/10! A few kinks to work out with it being opening week, service on the slow side as we were there for 3 hours. Our waitress Sophie explained the menu well and recommended how to have my steak cooked and topped up our glasses. Music may be a tad loud as she struggled to hear us at times! David is a credit to the team and did a wonderful job of tending to us
I really anticipated having dinner at this restaurant. The food presentation is exceptional and i will give it to the chef for plating the meals nicely, however it will be better if the taste of the food was commensurate with the food plating to ensure money’s worth is received. I loved the ambience but will advise if you want to take pictures, go with an extra device that can provide you with better lighting.
Another place that was on my want to go list that ended up being another disappointment. Upon on arrival greeted by the lovely hosts. Was my birthday, to which was a card waiting for me on the table. Lovely touch! Decor was outstanding and of course the star of the show was the rest rooms. Beautiful they were. Unfortunately for me the food just didn't cut it for me, excuse the pun! Very bland and under seasoned. For the price I expected alot more than what was received. Taste and flavours were non existent nothing else to say in regards to the food. But environment 10/10.
Came here to celebrate my birthday with my friend. When we entered we were greeted by a lovely woman and taken to our table, good start to a shit outing. For starters we ordered chicken skewers and calamari. 1 skewer ???? 3 tiny bits of chicken ????? 12 pound ????? I'm all for an expensive restaurant as long as they meet some standard, just ridiculous. Mains we ordered a steak and fajitas. Why did it cost an extra £6 to add chicken to the fajitas? If the £6 not paid on top of the already dear price, you get a tortilla with the littlest bits of sour cream and guacamole. Steak had 0 flavour not even a touch of salt. Was putting salt on my plate to dip the steak into just to acquire some taste. Had only been there for around 40 minutes and they state you have 1 and a half hours, clearly not. The lady was coming to our table every 5 seconds asking for payment, had told her many times give us 5 minutes as my friend was sending money over, easier to pay at once. However, she was just constantly in our face with the card reader, started feeling uncomfortable. After our meal we chose to go to the toilets to take some pictures which surely they'd expect considering it's flaunted all over their social media but literally 2 minutes into being in there, a lady came to the door wafting her keys about saying we're making customers uncomfortable, bare in mind the toilet was empty. So many better places with a gorgeous atmosphere and amazing food nearby, don't bother here.
Bill for 4 people £440. Disappointing. Food came out very quickly as though they are batch cooking steaks, which would make sense as to why it was dry. Deserts - don’t bother! Music was just too loud to have an enjoyable conversation, at one point it felt like the bass was pounding. Had far better for much less.
RUDE, BAD MANAGEMENT AND EXTRAS ADDED TO THE BILL! It’s incredibly frustrating to encounter rude management, especially when it comes to billing discrepancies. In this case, being charged for six drinks that weren’t even ordered, resulting in an additional cost of over £60, is unacceptable. On top of that, a £50 service charge added to the bill only adds to the dissatisfaction. When we tried to explain the situation to the manager, it was disappointing to be met with resistance rather than understanding. Instead of receiving an apology, we were subjected to a lengthy argument, including a call to a staff member who had already left for the day to verify our claims. Even after it was confirmed that the drinks were indeed not ours, there was still no acknowledgment or apology from the management. This kind of customer service is simply not acceptable and leaves a lasting negative impression. Will not be returning! Don’t waste your money.
