The place was quite popular and looked fancy. People were enjoying the outdoor dining even though it was 85degree and above. The food was so delicious and flavorful. Tasted authentic. The waiter and staffs were friendly and caring. Had good time celebrating the occasions. After plenty of food, you could also walk around for shopping. Fancy stores 😁 . Definitely recommend this place but make sure to make reservations so that you don’t have to wait.

Tucked into the heart of the Americana shopping center in Manhasset, Cipollini strikes a balance between upscale elegance and relaxed Mediterranean charm. I recently dined there with a friend, and our experience was both refreshing and flavorful. We started with Pellegrino sparkling water, which perfectly complemented the lightness of our meal. The seafood salad was a standout—fresh shrimp and calamari were paired beautifully with juicy tomatoes and crisp cucumber. We added arugula for an extra layer of peppery brightness, which turned out to be a great decision, enhancing the overall texture and flavor. We also shared the Insalata Greca, which brought a classic Mediterranean balance with ripe tomatoes, briny olives, and creamy feta with herbs It was simple but perfectly executed. Perhaps the highlight of the meal was the tuna carpaccio served with an avocado mousse. The tuna was sliced thin, tender, and fresh—melting in the mouth, while the mousse added a velvety, rich contrast that didn’t overpower the delicate fish. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere—bustling yet elegant—made for a great lunch spot, whether you’re catching up with a friend or taking a stylish break . Cipollini is a solid choice.

This is a top notch eatery. Old world glamour. The decor is gorgeous. The service top rate. The food was some of the best dishes we have ever had. Reservations a must. We were only able to get a table at 5pm and the place was fully packed. The risotto of the day was excellent, as was pan seared salmon over cannellini beans and broccoli rabe. Grilled octopus was perfect started cooked to perfection. Good Negronis. I could go on and on. Amble parking because of its location in the Americana mall in Manhasset . A must!!!

It was the most packed I have ever seen a restaurant, but when the host realized I was a party of one he parted the seas of people laughing and toasting and warming themselves with pizza and pasta, and found me a spot at “the pizza counter.” I got to then spend an hour with my book (Radical Next by Sam Rad - must read!!!) over a glass of yummy wine from Veneto - name started with “Baby” but forgive me I don’t remember… I asked for anchovies on my Caesar salad and they obliged! What a great decision that was. Lovely attentive service and watching the kitchen work was awe inspiring to say the least. So of course I had to write them a haiku of thanks.

The vibe here is wonderful and the food and service terrific. Had the antipasto plate to start with incredibly fresh prosciutto, followed by branzino and the seafood pasta with potatoes and broccoli rabe on the side (see photos). Slight disappointment with the amount of seafood in the pasta and the four fish bones found in the bronzino. But service was very nice. Has a city feel even though it is in the suburbs.

Food is always really good here. Our waiter was very underwhelming for the first time. The overall service is good either way since they have a huge staff. I will definitely stick to the margherita or robiola pies as the meatball pie I got today literally had no structure. It was an absolute mess to eat but still tasted really good. I’ve gotten it many times before where you could actually pick it up so I understand it happens. The rigatoni alla nonna was very good and the grilled calamari arugula salad is always a hit. The beef carpaccio was just good in my opinion but the bonus salad that comes hidden under the beef is a nice touch.

Went here with my friend and the food was very yummy. I got the salmon and she got the margarita pizza, both were very tasty, I would recommend! Our server Luis i believe was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. It was a bit busy and stuffy inside, but it was a friday night. definitely recommend this place for decent prices and yummy food :)

We came in very early for dinner, and there were only 2 of us, so we didn't need reservations, and we got a table right away. Our waiter Marlon was very nice and took our drinks and appetizer order. He brought our drinks over but nobody brought bread... We had to ask where the bread 🍞 was... and asked... wasn't it supposed to be brought over automatically. He said he had no idea why we didn't get bread, and then someone finally brought it. They dropped a basket of bread at the table but with no butter. The bread was not warm... and we had to request butter... Allegedly, the customer has to specifically request butter, and it's not brought with the bread... It's kind of bizarre if you ask me... The waiter swore that was the "policy. "... No words really... lol 😳 We both ordered the black linguini, which was very good with pieces of lobster. We had pistachio and almond ice cream and tiramisu for dessert. Towards 6:30-6:45 on this Friday night, it started to get crowded. The bar at this place is very popular in general and it started to get quite loud so we were finished in perfect timing. They did buy us dessert for not giving us any bread, so that was nice.

Good food. Nice place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very good. Bartenders made great cocktails and our server Miguel was excellent. The food was also very good. I really enjoyed the Tuna Tartar and my branzino was delicious. The black truffle pizza and halibut were also hits. In addition they had a nice wine list. Please note that they are still applying strict COVID-19 guidelines although the state has lifted them. So you need to wear a mask when you enter and when you get up from the table. In addition, you can't stand at the bar if you want to get served alcohol. You need to be seated. Overall a good experience.

Fine dining place. Anything italian is here. Good wine list and some vegetarian options. A bit loud with the 2 tvs on behind the bar, centralized music and conversation around. Outdoor seating available. We loved the sauteed octopus and had some veggie pizza. We were too hungry i wasn’t able to take photos of it. Good staff just not too attentive. My hubby ordered a glass of wine that never reached our table. We weren’t charged for it which he thought was totally ok- point is- he wanted to drink- so, NOT ok.

My husband went there this evening with three of his married friends to talk about cars and hang out. They were speaking in Spanish. They are there twice a week. They have even got to know the chef and bartender as well as some of the waiters. There was a racist White couple who sat next to them and asked to be moved because they were racist. The manager moved them. After spending more than $500, the manager came over and told my husband and his friends, "Guys, this is a restaurant. You are talking too loud. Can you calm down?" loud enough for all of the tables nearby to hear. This was humiliating. Then, he had the waitstaff remove their drinks and water so they would leave. I called the manager to express my frustration and he doubled down instead of apologizing accusing my husband and his friends of talking badly about the couple. This is no way to treat your customers especially considering your waitstaff is Latino. There should be respect for all people. This was completely unacceptable.

The worst $200 I have ever spent. We took one bite of all the food and left it as it is. Horrible food. Server was also not professional. Asked my husband what drink he wants and walked away without even asking me. Just a bad experience overall. The fries smelled like old oil and was very soggy. The veal chop had no flavors and was superrr dry. The octopus was burnt and extremely chewy. The eggplant parm was somewhat tolerable. Bread was stale and very hard to rip. Chicken parm was worse than frozen ones.
